Disco's Dead and so is Mo-Mo (Triple Threat Mysteries) by Tyler Colins
Tumblr media
I am so happy to welcome Tyler Colins to Escape With Dollycas today!
Tumblr media
Hi. I’m Tyler Colins, author of the Triple Threat Investigation Agency series, featuring pretty private eyes JJ, Rey, and Linda. Save for the first book, The Connecticut Corpse Caper, the setting is beautiful Oahu, Hawaii. At the age of five, I walked into my first mobile library (that unique book-jacket smell still lingers in fond memory), and I was hooked! Reading became a passion. When my seventh-grade English teacher complimented a short story I’d written in front of the class, a teeny light bulb went off: maybe I could become a writer! Very long story short, here I am, a published author … finally (there were a few detours along the way).  😉
Tumblr media
Disco’s Dead and so is Mo-Mo. Disco may be gone, but it’s far from forgotten. Sammy Mo-Mo Martine, on the other hand, wasn’t much remembered—until his body was found many years later. A Montreal-based dime-store mobster, he wasn’t very well liked. In his thirty-some years, he’d rubbed a lot of people the wrong way with his constant jive talkin’ and self-centered desire to be bigger and better; thinking you’re hot stuff is one thing, acting it is another. He’d rocked the boat once too often, so it wasn’t much of a surprise when one of his non-fans decided to rub out him one fateful night on his way to the disco. He was looking forward to getting down that night, wearing an oh-so-blinding polyester suit and chunky-clunky platform shoes and thinking he was “Daddy Cool”. Mo-Mo was certainly shaking his macho man booty as he smugly strutted along the sidewalk. Then bullets started flying—and Mo-Mo did his best to survive and keep stayin’ alive. So, maybe he wasn’t exactly rubbed out, despite rumors bouncing around like balls in pinball machine, but he was never heard from again … until decades later, when his body was discovered squashed in a drum, lying at the bottom of the sapphire waters of the Pacific. No more good times for Mo-Mo Martine. The 70s were unique. Who didn’t love the infectious, four-on-the-floor-beat danceable sounds of that era? I had two left feet so there was no way you’d catch me trying the Bump, Robot, or Hustle. But I so admired those who could twirl and swirl with grace and panache under those mesmerizing disco balls. Even as a non-dancer, the energy, the lights, the people in beautiful clothes with immaculate hairdos, were irresistible. What a way to spend a Saturday night. Who didn’t want more, more, more? And speaking of Saturday night, we can’t touch upon disco without mentioning the iconic Saturday Night Fever. The moment store clerk Tony Manero (John Travolta) started swaggering along the sidewalk, swinging a paint can, I—like countless others—was hooked. What a movie. What a soundtrack! I still listen to it now and again, and the songs always elicit smiles and a few fond memories. It was that very soundtrack that inspired the writing of Disco’s Dead and so is Mo-Mo. While murders in modern-day Honolulu are fun to construct, “You Should be Dancin’” got me and my three private eyes—JJ, Rey, and Linda—movin’ our feet to a familiar beat. The days of disco are gone but certainly not forgotten. They live on, to be channeled through various sources, be it memories or mysteries or that awesome online video sharing website, YouTube. https://youtu.be/wgAKQko8AXA?si=24n5-e7EJkgHdeU8 So funny, Mr. Dollycas bought this KC and the Sunshine Band album for me the first Christmas when we were dating.  Thank you, Tyler for visiting today. Keep reading for info about Tyler's new book!

Michael After Midnight: Heavy Metal
Tumblr media
Sometimes it’s fun to revisit old movies you watched when you were younger and find out, hey, this is better than you remembered! Sometimes your young mind just wasn’t ready to accept how awesome something was, and you needed time to fully understand what you look for and like about cinema to truly appreciate it. But then, sometimes, you watch something you liked when you were younger, and you realize… wow, this is absolute dog shit!
Such is the case with Heavy Metal. This is a movie I have frequently cited as a low-ranking entry on lists of the finest animated films of all time, and to be entirely fair to the film, it is important in a historical sense, being a cult classic that was passed around through bootlegs because music rights kept it from getting a home video release, and it came out around the dawn of the 80s and kind of destroyed what you would think an animated film was capable of. This film is full of sex, drugs, and rock and roll, and it entirely, unabashedly unashamed of this, for better or for worse.
Now, while I do think the overall film is a bit lacking, it is an anthology film divided into segments, and there are some pretty good ones I will make note of; this is not a film with absolutely no merit. But before that, let me point out the one thing everyone can agree is amazing about this film: the soundtrack. You’ve got Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Stevie Nicks, Devo, Cheap Trick… if nothing else, the kickass soundtrack is worth a listen, though Blue Oyster Cult’s song inclusion irritates me to a great degree. The movie went with “Veteran of the Psychic Wars” for the soundtrack, despite the fact Blue Oyster Cult had a song ready to go that is literally about the final entry in the anthology, called “Vengeance (The Pact).” Why the people compiling the soundtrack made this choice baffles me; it reminds me of how they didn’t use “Jennifer’s Body” in, well, Jennifer’s Body, instead opting for a different Hole song from the same album.
But I digress. Let’s go one by one and touch on the segments:
The framing device is about an entity known as the Loc-Nar, who claims to be the sum of all evil, detailing to a little girl how it has influenced chaos and carnage across time and space. The thing is, though, the Loc-Nar doesn’t come out on top in any of the segments, and its schemes are often thwarted. So the entire movie is basically this supreme evil being detailing to a little girl how much it sucks ass at its one job.
The first segment is Harry Canyon, a story about the eponymous futuristic New York taxi driver. In some regards it reminds me of The Fifth Element, what with a scruffy, slummy, futuristic taxi driver trying to help a smoking hot babe find out the truth and all, but unlike that film, this short is a lot bleaker and gritty. You kinda know what you’re in for when Harry vaporizes a dude who tries to mug him, and if that’s not enough, the female lead of this short literally throws herslef at him, and yes, he gets to take a dive into her Harry Canyon – and you get to see it.
This is a running theme throughout these shorts – almost every female character has huge titties and is sexually promiscuous, throwing themselves at the first penis they see as if it was their job. It’s so incredibly juvenile and tacky as to be laughable, but I guess this comes with the territory considering the magazine this film adapted.
Anyway, the segment is harmless and unremarkable. It’s exactly what you’d expect from this sort of story, without much in the way of twists or turns.
Tumblr media
The second segment, Den, is arguably the best segment in the entire film. We have a nerdy kid named Dan who gets transported across space and becomes the musclebound warrior with a huge cock known as Den. Every woman throws herself at him, every villain in his way gets pummeled, and no task is too impossible for this man! And did I mention that he is voiced by John Candy? Really, Candy’s comedic touch is what makes this entire thing feel fun and palatable; it’s a cheesy swords and sorcery romp through and through. Honestly, I don’t have much bad to say about this one, it’s just very silly fun.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately we are back to being not great with Captain Sternn. Sternn, played by Eugene Levy (of The Wacky World of Mini Golf fame), is basically an intergalactic war criminal on trial, and when his paid witness Hanover Fiste (played by Rodger “Squidward Tentacles” Bumpass) comes up to the stand, the Loc-Nar influences him to the most evil act possible… betraying this war criminal in front of the judge and jury! GASP! I’m not sure what the Loc-Nar is really trying to do here; you’d think it would maybe want Sternn free to continue spreading wicked influence across the galaxy, but nah, it just makes Squidward hulk out and tries to kill him, only for the tables to be turned and Squidward to be dropped out an airlock, further cementing how utterly useless the Loc-Nar is.
Tumblr media
Thankfully, once that’s over, we have yet another very strong segment, another contender for best in show: B-17. This is a genuinely creepy zombie short film, and the zombies are utterly horrifying and grotesque. This is regarded as the most nightmarish part of the film, and for good reason; this shit is certainly worthy of being called “heavy metal.” Honestly, there isn’t much bad to say about this one either, except perhaps that it is over far too soon.
Tumblr media
Then we get to what is probably the worst segment: So Beautiful, So Dangerous. The entire segment is sort of meant to be a lighthearted comedic breather between The last segment and the final one, but it just comes off as combining every problem the movie has into one segment: the uselessness of the Loc-Nar, copious and ridiculous sex, drugs, and so on. Really all that’s missing from this is gratuitous violence, but hey, guess you can’t have everything all the time, right? It just comes off as really dull and pointless, and there’s not really anything particularly funny about anything that happens in it, unless of course you’re a thirteen year old who thinks “big boob woman having sex with robot while aliens snort cocaine” is the funniest shit on Earth.
Tumblr media
Thankfully, we end on a strong note with Taarna, which is about a proud warrior woman dressed in horrifically impractical armor (and this actually effects the plot, I’m not kidding, somehow there was some self-awareness here) and a cool alien pteradactly flying off to fulfill a vengeful pact after the slaughter of a peaceful race by barbarians mutated by the Loc-Nar, in what may be the Loc-Nar’s sole impressive feat. Taarna is the ultimate hero, giving us the trifecta of qualities a heroine in this movie should have – boobs, butt, and bush... Er, I mean, sword, cool mount, and ass-kicking prowess. This one is not quite as good as “Den” or “B-17,” but I still think it’s a solid finale that has enough action and awesome music to make up for its tackier elements.
Tumblr media
The movie ends with Taarna’s defeat of the Loc-Nar echoing through time and killing it which… makes absolutely zero sense, but whatever, the Loc-Nar is an absolutely atrocious villain and perhaps one of the most useless in cinematic history, he gets a 1/10 on Psycho Analysis. Then the girl gets her own kickass space dragon thing and becoming the new Taarna or something and, honestly, it’s the exact  sort of batshit ending you should expect from the film.
So, is this really an awful film? In some places, no. It’s a love letter to cheesy, trashy sci-fi fantasy from the 70s, with all that comes with it, and in that regard it does succeed. But still, a lot of the film feels like the utterly juvenile fantasies of same sad high schooler, or perhaps even middle schooler, who has never had and who likely never will have sex. It’s a tashy little time capsule to a bygone era where this sort of storytelling was okay so long as there was enough blood and titties on display, so if that appeals to you, by all means, check this film out. It’s certainly not the worst thing in the world to watch, but animation has come so far and adult animation in particular is capable of so much more than adolescent masturbatory fantasies that this film has little value beyond a few solid segments and a damn good soundtrack.
Hell, just go listen to the soundtrack. I think you’d have a better time doing that.

7 Comfort Movies
Tagged by @pandemicpicnic . List your seven favorite comfort movies, then tag 7 people.
This is a good thing to pass around, since I could use the diversion, and as I think about this list, I realize how long it’s been since I last saw a lot of these movies.
In no particular order...
1) Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn
Tumblr media
I dunno if these are necessarily comfort movies, as opposed to just movies I like the best, but I don’t watch movies a whole lot, so I’m guessing my all-time favorites are probably close enough.   Movie 12 is good watchin’, period.   This is a movie about everyone working together.    Friends, enemies, strangers, the living and the dead, the damned and the divine.   I watch this movie and wish that we in the real world could put aside our differences so easily and blow up all the Nazis.
2) Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
Tumblr media
People say this is the worst Superman movie, but fuck that noise.   This is the only one where Superman throws all the nuclear weapons into the sun.    But one of them has a chicken nugget attached to it, which grows into a clone of Superman with scratchy fingernails, his only weakness.    So Superman has to kick his ass on/with the moon, and then tell everyone that nuclear war is too big a job for Superman, because we’ll just re-arm the minute his back is turned.
This is a story about high school physics, Luthor.     Sometimes the things we fear the most are only the darker side of our greatest strengths.   If humanity has the power to destroy itself, then doesn’t that mean we have the power to save ourselves as well?   The choice is ours.
3) Spaceballs
Tumblr media
Some killjoys actually hated this movie, and point to it as evidence that Mel Brooks lost his touch.   I respectfully submit that those people are dumb.  Spaceballs came out during the dark years between Return of the Jedi and Phantom Menace, when we all wanted more Star Wars but thought we would never get more.    Brooks heard our pleas, and gave us this movie, which is basically Star Wars with dick jokes all over it.   People always go on about how Star Trek predicted smartphones and the Simpsons predicted the Trump administration, but only Spaceballs was prescient enough to declare: “Fuck!    Even in the future, nothing works!”
This is a story about following your heart.    If all you care about is duty, and obligation, and profit, you’ll end up marrying some dullard, or owing your soul to a talking pizza, or roaming the universe in search of air.
4) Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Tumblr media
This is the best Batman movie ever, and maybe even the best comic book movie period.    In 1994, Batman the Animated Series was popular enough that they made a feature film and ran it in theaters and everything.  I remember some smartass article at the time questioning whether parents would see the point in taking their kids to watch a movie of something that’s on TV for free, which is just dumb.    It’s not like they ran four episodes of the TV series for this thing.   It’s an original story!   Anyway, Batman has to figure out what the deal is with this new vigilante who fights crime with murder, which is also a crime.   He also gets very sad in place and it’s very emotional and I bought the soundtrack as soon as I could because I wanted to listen to it and feel things.
This is a story about the future, and promises, and the roads not taken.   And when all is said and done, maybe the choices we made were the right ones after all, in spite of our second-guesses.
5) Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
Tumblr media
I considered putting Revenge of the Sith on this list, since that’s usually the one I look up clips from on YouTube, but there’s no topping Jedi.   I saw this in the theatre when I was six and everything was awesome.    Jabba the Hutt, wint-o-green lightsabers, speeder bikes, Ewoks breaking stuff with logs and rocks, it’s just a pleasure to watch.   Also, this movie introduces Emperor Palpatine, and lays the foundation for the Sith lore that made me love Revenge of the SIth in the first place.  Not long after we got home from seeing this movie in 1983, I tried to draw this scene in the screencap above, because it left such a deep impression on me.
This is a story about feelings.    Every butthole in Star Wars is always telling everyone else what to feel and how much they should feel it, and don’t get too attached to this or that.     But in this movie Luke has to exercise restraint and then cut loose, give into his passions and then reign them in, care for his friends and family but also be willing to let them go.    Everyone can give him advice, but he’s got to hoe that row himself, and figure it out as he goes.   He doesn’t always get it exactly right, but he still gets it.
6) The Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Tumblr media
The historians will say that cartoons like the original Transformers were nothing more than glorified toy commercials, made possible by the deregulation of children’s entertainment in the 1980′s.    I find this incredibly unfair, because that analysis ignores the fact that Transformers was a fucking awesome cartoon.    They’re all robots, so they could shoot and punch each other without any guff from standards and practices. And since the show was designed to promote an entire toy line, there were literally dozens of characters, each given a surprising amount of character and personality.   Starscream (center) and Ramjet (right) are practically the same toy, but kids wanted both of them because Starscream is a whiny, shitty drama queen, and Ramjet is a dumbass who likes to hit things with his head.     Astrotrain (left) is just a cool dude who can be a train or a space shuttle.
This movie is the height of the franchise, where they could raise the stakes even higher, and introduce even crazier concepts like planet-eating monsters and robots actually killing each other for keeps.    I see fans from my generation acting all traumatized over all the deaths, like they never should have done that in a movie marketed for children, but this was a story about renewal.   The old order changeth, and it falls to the newcomers to rise up and carry on.    I’ve always taken a lot of comfort in the way these characters pass the torch.    The Smurfs were never brave enough to have Papa Smurf name his successor.
7) UHF
Tumblr media
Geez, I haven’t watched this one in forever.    I’d have to double-check to see if I even have it on DVD.    UHF was the ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic vehicle from the late 1980′s.   I want to say ‘89.    He plays a guy who takes over a TV station and runs all these ludicrous shows on it until it becomes the most popular channel in town.   It’s basically a bunch of sketch comedy stitched together into a movie, and it doesn’t try to apologize for this.
This is a story of the importance of imagination, and of being true to yourself.   Al’s character has trouble finding a steady job, and its’ easy to conclude that there’s something wrong with him, but it’s really just that he hasn’t found the right opportunity for his passions and skills.   Once he finds his place, he rises to the occasion.
And that’s my list.   Now I gotta tag people.   @auralime, @ediblenonsense, @semercury, @twobellsilence, @drowning-in-this-starry-serenade, @cozymochi, and @glintea.

Guys it’s NEVER too many you’re giving me the chance to talk nonstop about Sonic it’s the best thing that’s happened to me in days
also I had planned to answer them in the order you asked for but it was driving me crazy so I sorted them out thematically sorry alfhjkhljshja
I answered 1 here!
100 Sonic Questions
21.) Tell us a funny Sonic-related story.
This one comes from the depths of my very first months as a Sonic fan. Basically, I had watched Sonic X upon its first Italian release as a very very smol bean. By the time I got obsessed again in middle school, though, I had forgotten everything about it except a few shots from the Italian opening theme and ONE scene from a season three episode, where Sonic and Knuckles played chess on a spaceship and then Sonic began running around and fell into space.
The “friend” that had introduced me to the show again (not a nice person and source of about 25% of my trauma, I’m glad to say I haven’t seen her in years) didn’t believe me and accused me of lying. Repeatedly. Unkindly. For months. How could such a stupid scene be in such an amazing cartoon? I must be trying to fuck with her.
Fast forward to the end of the year. I’m minding my business and I see a Facebook message from this friend, and another, and another. I click on it wondering what she’d be going ham over, and BAM. This girl had been watching Sonic AMVs on Youtube and had caught a glimpse of that scene at the beginning of a video and was fucking losing it over the fact that WOW, I HAD BEEN TELLING THE TRUTH ALL ALONG?!
Now, you have to understand that I wasn’t the kind of kid that swore, back then. I had been brought up to think that swear words would send you to hell straight away. And while not a delicate little flower, I was much, much cuter and more proper than I am now because I couldn’t live out my butch dreams quite yet. But I needed to express all the frustration gathered in those months.
So please imagine this baby-faced, straight A student 13yo wait for her friend in front of their school and bellow at the top of her lungs “BITCH, WHAT DID I FUCKING TELL YOU?”
I still remember that scene fondly, though.
31.) Tell us a Sonic-related story that will give us feels.
Related to the experience I just mentioned, the problem I had in my first years in this fandom was that this person who had dragged me into it was obsessed with the thought that people would mock us for it. She said it was for kids, and when she got over it she gave me shit for clinging to my passion while she’d “grown up”, and she had me enjoy Sonic in secret and yelled at me for saying anything even vaguely related out loud where other people could hear us.
It got into my head so much that for a long long time I didn’t dare share anything Sonic-adjacent on any social media, long past when I’d broke away from her. I thought no one would ever take me seriously again. I felt ashamed a lot.
It got better, though. Slowly, I broke out of my shell and started interacting with this amazing fandom, and I found lots of people who didn’t give a damn about what the world thought of their passion. And I know tons of wonderful people outside the fandom, too, friends who encourage me to talk about Sonic even though they don’t know anything about it. Chats where any mention of Sonic has someone saying “wait we must tag naivesilver into this she’ll love it”. It’s - it warms my heart every day. Tumblr is a shithole, but it helped me in feeling free to do what I love in the fandom that I love most.
Thank you. To everyone that got me through that, thank you. You have no idea how helpful you’ve been to me.
19.) Favorite soundtrack
KNOCK KNOCK IT’S FUCKING KNUCKLES
youtube
20.) Least favorite soundtrack?
None I think???? There are some I don't listen to much, either because I haven't played the game or I just don't vibe with them, but there isn't any song that I particularly dislike. Almost all of them are genuine bops.
16.) (if you read fanfic) What are some fic tropes you love? Ones you hate?
FOUND FAMILY!!! Adoptive parents, siblings, friends taking care of each other, I want a shitton of fluff in my life. And kid!fic. I could read (and write!) kid!fic every day for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. That's why I enjoy Chaotix and Sonic Movie fics so much. Let's raise them boys well.
As for hating...I don't like high school AUs lmao I wrote one when I was younger but I never dared touch it again and I haven't read any Sonic one since 2014 at most. And most time travel fics. Sorry, Silver, I love you a fucking lot but time travel shenanigans are only funny in the two or three specific settings my mind lets me enjoy.
11.) Top five stages.
In no particular order:
-Press Garden (Mania)
-Casinopolis (Adventure)
-Casino Forest (Forces)
-Studiopolis (Mania)
Anddddd I haven't played much else so I'll have to get back to you on this ajshfkjfahlljha
12.) Worst five stages.
-IMPERIAL TOWER
-IMPERIAL TOWER
-Jesus Christ I died 78 times in that stage alone
-I'm bad at being fast and not falling off stuff and it required me to do both at the same time
-Also the Shadow DLC levels. Fuck me up a bit more will you
56.) In your opinion, what’s the weirdest thing any character has ever said?
I'm a simple girl, I see this panel and I lose my shit
Tumblr media
10.) What do you like best about your favorite animated adaptation?
I only finished my Sonic X rewatch yesterday and I’ve been meaning to make some final comments about it (tho it’d probably be me rambling at thin air bc I doubt I can say anything that hasn’t been already said over and over and over) but the most compelling thing for me is and always will be the music.
Don’t get me wrong, what I’ve seen of the OG Japanese version had wonderful, heartfelt music, but the upbeat themes I grew up with still have me vibing day in and day out. I can dance to the Italian opening sequence at any given moment - no, you know what, here it is. Watch it and feel the serotonin drip into your veins.
(Some people will come at me for this, but I didn’t watch this show in 2019-2020 to make an in-depth analysis about it. I did it to have a dance off while Knuckles beat up some robots.)
78.) Post a scene that always gives you feels.
Sonic 06:
youtube
13yo me about to see her first ship torn apart:
Tumblr media
4.) The last Sonic game you played is now your life. How awesome is this adventure gonna be?
Sonic Adventure - which means it’s a pretty cool life, unless it runs like SA does on my laptop and it turns slow and glitchy and grinds on my nerves even more
36.) C’mon now. How many ships do you have? :P
A FUCKING LOT my main ones are silvaze, vecpio and sonadow but I have many medium or small ones that I enjoy finding content for, like tikaze or knouge
39.) Which game is your golden standard?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m not the greatest game fan as in I’ve only been actively playing for the past 2/3 years. Before that it was just gameplays on Youtube, so you should not take my opinion into any account since it’s not very informed.
However there was something about Sonic and the Black Knight that just felt...new? Peculiar? I know jack shit about the technical side of gaming but I remember being extremely pumped every time I logged in to see more of it. I'd like to feel that again, when a new game drops.

Top 50 Best Transformers Fanfiction Stories 2020
Tumblr media
Best Transformers Fanfiction Updates That You Must Read
Since Childhood, I am watching transformers and looking forward to becoming a transformer one day, Grew up by Reading Transformers Fanfiction Stories and was always amazed by the fictions that used to pop out from such inspiring Fanfiction Lovers. Also liking the Transformer Fanfiction Crossover a lot.
Tumblr media
If I Start Giving my Opinions about Transformers Fanfiction Lemon and Transformers Crossover fanfiction, I don't think so that I won't end the topic of Transformers Fanfiction Stories even in 24 hours. Lukas Schimik Agreed ! Don't know why everybody hates it, I think it's still my number 1 TF movie! Optimus new look, Lockdown & Galvatron, KsI (bots), Dinobots, cast ( HATED this Sam & Mikeala ) and the TF/human conflict. Still love it. Miguel GC Gamer Age of Extinction is the only film that entertains that I don't skip any parts of the movie and I like all the characters in this film and the transformers designs are great, dino bots are Awsome. Vincent H well....bad taste is also bad taste at the end of the day. I know you younger kids think that everyone is supposed to have an opinion and everything is subjective blah blah blah but if you're a cinephile than the Transformers are objectively bad films. They are cynical cash grabs made to make money in China. Bay and the producers have said as much. I mean you can like whatever you want. If you wanna listen to Teletubbies soundtrack all day that's your right....but that does mean you have shitty taste. It's okay. Not everyone has good taste. urtpro 2 I'm not hating I'm genuinely curious. I certainly like it more than Last Knight but barely lol. I'm curious the reasons why AOE fans consider it one of the better Transformers movies. I will say it was nice to switch up the protagonist and all that since Sam Witwicky had worn out his welcome by the third film. And the actress who played Wahlberg's daughter was smoking hot, so that was a plus too. Oliver Parker I thought the premise of the world hating and hunting the Transformers(regardless of Faction), cuz of what happened in Chicago(in DOTM), was kool, MW was a refreshing Main Hero over Shia tbh, and Lockdown was Badass! Honestly kinda just laughed off the whole Romeo and Juliette law thing as being just a bad movie joke! I’m mean honestly I know there’s no such law, and as such it didn’t really bother me! Just rather thought it was somewhat silly! Yann Labeille Well Lockdown was a pretty good villain for once in the movies. However Galvatron went nowhere after this. Anthony That isn't true. I saw Bumblebee yesterday and I find it Like watching E.T., the movie is just on Charlie, not really much on Bee. The only g1 part is the first 5 minutes of the movie. Too much 80s references. Sometimes is even boring for me. It Was a cute movie but absolutely not my favourite. I still prefere the first one. Aron T-900 I'd rather get vibes from ET and Iron Giant instead of witnessing stupid humor, unnecessary hot shots, dogs humping each other, unrealistic explosions, parents acting like they belong in a cartoon, patriotism and confusing slo-mo action sequences. Cam Rich I preferred the first and third ones as they have so much more action in them making the films actually entertaining, when most of bumblebee is almost like a compilation of ‘cute’ little clips of bumblebee and that annoying girl taking up almost the entirety of the movie. Max Ramirez Personally prefer the 2007 movie because it's just overall more entertaining to me. Also, you can pretty much tell Bumblebee was a movie that was directed towards kids so 2007 wins for me So Sit back and enjoy reading my favorite transformers fanfiction lemon and Transformers fanfiction Crossovers Collection. That I have collected for you guys. I Hope You Guys liked our collection of the best transformers fanfiction stories and updates that we have presented above for all fanfiction lovers out here. Transformers Fanfiction Crossover Stories 2020(Updated) Transformers is America based  Franchise that was first seen in the 1980s globally. So the first five transformers Films was directed by Michael Bay. I really believe that this was the boost up for the Transformers Fanfiction Crossover stories that I really liked about among the whole and sole of the transformers fanfiction stories including the lemon version of the franchise. Transformers Fanfiction Lemon Version 2020 Funny Part of the Franchise is that the transformer's movies, on one hand, was loved by the fans and on the other hand there were critics about the direction "Worst Director of all Time". Still, there are some dirty minded people who are always in search of the Transformers Fanfiction Lemon and some people also call it Transformers lemon Fanfiction. Night light I really want to be apart of one of micheal bays movie of transformers Flo Parsons see this is why I love transformers, because the actors ACTUALLY seem like they are having fun, and they are such fun films to watch obert Delgad Even though the movie sequels are not that great, but you have to give Michael Bay a lot of Credit for what he does. fake lol Bay is a genius I mean, I wouldn't be able to figure out the scale of you know the explosions Like the layout nig*a LOL, lol or as you typed if, Lol: an acronym for laugh(ing) out loud or lots of laughs, some say it is Lots of love, is a popular element of Internet slang. It was first used almost exclusively on Usenet, but has since become widespread in other forms of computer-mediated communication and even face-to-face communication. Alex Bruh Bumblebee knows how to pick up ladies more than Sam 😂 lala I remember being a kid and having the biggest crush for Megan. Good lord she was so hot Michael ceasar Back than I thought Sam was looking at her belly and so was I saying "Hot belly I guess." hotman 280 Michael Bay while directing: Yeah Megan arch your back, perfect perfect. Get a good shot of her sweat glistening tanned bronze body. Yeah just like that. chief ada Yeah right. That engine is a big block. Fuel injected side draft 8 barrel carburetors. Hell even the headers are up and over side mount. And the damn engine is worth more then the car. As he only paid $4500.00 That damn engine alone cost $20,000.00! Leave the critics aside all I want to know is: How did you people find our transformers fanfiction lemon version? comment down below if you guys liked this collection on some of the best lemon flavors of transformers fanfiction stories. Transformers fanfiction Bumblebee Stories Updated The best part of the Transformers franchise is that bumblebee is the only character that got most of the positive reviews. This can be a reason that people Love Transformers Fanfiction Bumblebee Version a lot. No worries because we have provided some of the best Bumblebee fanfiction stories that you will enjoy reading. Master Yoda "Wasp", "Stinger" or "Hornet" would be appropriate Decepticon sounding names as "Bumble Bee" sounds too friendly. ron 1j2j barricade is a ford mustang and bee is a Chevrolet camero trust me they will not be friends pro gmer yes i do lol they killed ironhide and ratchet and jazz and sideswipe is already missing dnt know if hes alive but hes my favorite hari bhaskar I'm Bumblebee was a Decepticon he'd be dead like the other Decepticons, because boi they sure kill Decepticons like it's nothing. mighty raju Blackout had skills. Shockwave had skills. The Fallen had skills. Yet they all died like they're nothing. Why? Cause they're Decepticons lol. It's simple rlly, they kill off Decepticons like they're nothing that's just how it is lol. habob What about “what if sentinel prime didn’t betray the autobots” I think age of extinction and beyond wouldn’t have happened since sentinel basically destroyed N.E.S.T. And also Rachet and Ironhide wouldn’t have died so the Autobots would have had a great advantage, and then Sam would still be with the autobots since he disappears after DOTMBasically, I’m saying that the Transformers franchise would have dramatically changed if Sentinel didn’t betray the Autobots. ShyGuy 15 In the movies, technically Megatron is an anti-hero. The first movie makes an acception bc he was using the allspark for pure evil, also in Aoe no reason told us what he was trying to accomplish other than detonating the seed. So 2, 3, and 5, he has reasons to his doing Rotf: using the pyramid to kill the sun and repopulate cybertron. Dotm: rebuild cybertron. TLK: kill unicron using cybertron. This is all in my own mind, not sure if anyone else agrees with me Simon Tyson I forget what it was called, but there was a comic book series where Megatron was an Autobot. It basically swapped all the characters so that Optimus, Bumblebee, Iron Hide, etc. were bad guys. Megatron, Starscream, etc. were good guys Dank Starscream If Bayformer Megatron's history is similar to the IDW comics Megatron's history...then that would mean the Autobot government was not all that good, and would be directly responsible for why Megatron turned out the way he did. Because he was a slave to their functionalist system of control, and he would have remained a slave worker miner if he didn't rise up from the lifestyle forced on him and formed the Decepticon faction... Though it seems to me that if this were the case, Bayformers Megatron would still have become a gladiator before forming the Decepticons...and then eventually he found his way into more of the politics of Cybertron after one day meeting with Optimus Prime (Orion Pax at the time) and then they became brothers/friends. In that sense...it would be similar to how the history of the two were from the show TF Prime. They could still keep the part with the whole Optimus being a knight too, somehow... So in short...Megatron really did not start out as a bad guy at all, it was the way in which he reacted to everything that made him turn out a 'bad guy'. She-Venom What if Megatron is a good guy in the movies? Simple answer is right here becuse Optimus accepted become a Prime if he didnt accept Optimus and Megatron wouldnt fight each other and best brothers it was Optimus fault he started the war i think Megatron is a good guy Hoping that you guys liked our collection of the topmost fanfics about the transformers fanfiction crossover flavors that we have published above this. People Love Bumblebee! i love him/her because bumblebee is cool, let me know why do you love Bumblebee and more importantly why do you guys love Transformers fanfiction on Bumblebee. Transformers Fanfiction OC Version  Earning a total amount of $4.3 Billion, transformers became the 13th highest-grossing film series in the world. The Transformers Fanfiction Fans Should be happy to know that the Transformers franchise grossed a total of $1 Billion each from two superhit blockbuster movies. Comment Down the names of those movies if you know them. Jack R I think the first one was more epic just cause the fight scenes were cool and it was the first time we saw something like that. But the writing and characters were absolutely horrific. Bumblebee had much better writing and characters especially the character relationship between Bumblebee and the girl which is much better than the relationship between Sam and bumblebee. Dotm Shockwave Yeah I dont know how he put tlk over revenge and extinction. The last knight is incredibly boring and the only remaining aspect left to enjoy (the action) is incredibly dull in it compared to all the other films. There are no good fight scenes. Which is likely why it bombed so hard Ur mom Gai Ok imo the last knight is my fave AND I ONLY like TF5 is cuz bumblebee new form looks good as hell and Optimus prime vs bumblebee AND there is explosions. EVERYWHERE Boss  I definitely didn't think it was my favorite. It depends on what you are looking for in a movie. If you like character relationships and a girl and her problems trying to find her way, then you'll like it. If you like transformers actions and interactions, you may not like it as much. Even though the Bay movie didn't focus enough on the transformers, this one did even less The Burden of Bordem I'm a decepticon fan and none of the main decepticons were even given a name in the movie. They were just there to be bad. The Burden of Bordem For me I think this film would have worked much better if they just had Starscream as the main villain, and maybe Barricade hunting bumblebee and give them a more personal relation ship as enemies. But like I said, it end up being a movie about a girl and her relation ship with Bumblebee and enemies getting in their way. bandwon he main character is more fleshed out than the others, Bumblebee I guess is as well, but he can't talk so it isn't by much, the story is standard E.T./Iron Giant, the acting is fine, the directing is probably better than the others, the action is good when it happens, but there is far less than the others, and non of the action reached the peak of the Bay movies. and if it wasn't for the fact there were transformers in it I probably wouldn't have really liked it, but it's enough to get you invested and entertained imo. luke jack You really think anyone's gonna take you serious after you typed "Bumble" Haha the 2007 film and DotM were pretty decent films and satisfying in the end. lisa Speaking as a male, it always annoys me, as a child, that certain plot-line of every terribly written sci-fi (mainly Transformers): "main character is a dick=likable guy" "he has 'relatable' problems, that are only explored in the first 15 minutes of the film" "He start having an abusive/creepy relationship (because that's how well written romance works, right...), with the love interest (they barely explore her name)." "1+ hour action scenes" "world is gonna explode (not really)" "Main Character and Love Interest hook up". People always call me "a pussy", because i want equal rights, and then they go make a video about "how everything is now pandering to women, and everything is Woke"... By your perfect logic... most movies are "pandering to males, and straight people only" imo  not like super duper mad, but kinda upset. It was actually kinda funny. But dude, I love what you said about Man of Steel in your DC ranking video. I love that you love Man of Steel. Not many do, and it's seriously awesome! IMO I hope You Guys Like our Collection of the best Transformers fanfiction stories along with transformers fanfiction lemon and transformers fanfiction crossover collection. Promare thoughts/impressions
Watched Promare. Overall, enjoyed it very much and it was everything I expected it to be (extremely TRIGGER, basically). A visual feast that definitely satisfied my shonen action hunger. In summary though, I really wish it’d been a 12 ep anime.
Spoilers ahead.
LIKES
Visuals: Loved the stylisation. The vivid, pastel flames and the polygonal ice made a nice contrast and it looks so different not only from other anime films but also from other animations by the same studio? Brilliant.
TRIGGER being themselves: Illogical story with a grand scope, bombastic action hero, easily distinguishable character designs.
Hiroyuki Sawano: His music is just what you’d expect from someone of his calibre. Absolutely floored; also, quite a range in the soundtrack! I remember especially when Galo starts talking about the Japanese firefighters the music shifts to something more traditional.
Galo not being racist: Well, not being prejudiced. While its pretty par for the course to have a protagonist learn to overcome his prejudices in this sort of story, the fact that a person in the rescue ops doesn’t, you know, hate the victims who cause the disasters he’s meant to respond to is very logical.
Kiss follow-up: The no-homo fake out. Not gonna lie, they had me in the first half when Galo recoiled and seemed disgusted. But it would’ve made no sense because like he said, it was a medical procedure he’s been trained to do. Putting his mouth on anyone, regardless of gender, should not have grossed him out. And it didn’t! Being unhappy that he ‘started a fire’ makes more sense because his entire job (passion) is about stopping Burnish. There’s a real lack of hetero-signalling here actually. Promare’s not afraid to let its viewers decide how Galo swings.
Female gaze: Yeah sure there’s that shot where Aina’s butt is on display but the camera sure seems magnetised towards Lio’s crotch.
Lio’s refreshing morosexuality: Once they start working together in earnest, Lio is quick to just indulge in Galo’s quirks. He trusts the guy easily but not to the point that he stops calling him out for stupidity. Very movies end with me knowing that characters from opposing sides have a strong friendship ahead of them. Promare is one. I might talk more about Lio’s match with Galo more elsewhere, but for now, I do like how he isn’t shutting Galo down/constantly arguing which is what you usually see when a serious character has to work with a boisterous one.
DISLIKES
So most of my dislikes come from the fact that it’s a movie. There’s no way they could’ve done otherwise in a 1:51 timeframe, but knowing what the studio’s capable of, I can’t help but wish I saw their full potential.
Character development: Nobody really grew. Not every story needs it and not every character needs to change, but the lack of flaws addressed hurt Galo and Lio’s memorability I think. I kept expecting Galo’s impulsiveness to bite him in the ass. Didn’t see it much except for his confrontation with Kray. I even thought the ‘don’t pose and focus’ thing might come back, notably during the Lio de Galon fight when Kray keeps justifying his robot’s weaponry as terraforming equipment. Galo and Lio are just the type to shut him up and point out ‘If it’s being used to hurt people, it’s a weapon! If you hurt others, you’re a villain! Nothing can justify that!’ since it fits thematically into that fight as well.
Streamlined plot: TRIGGER has been shown to have a good grasp of story pacing. It can feed you one bit of ridiculousness at a time until they bring out something awesome but extremely stupid, knowing that they’ve tempered you enough it’ll just be epic. In this timeframe, that just didn’t happen. Not enough foreshadowing, too many crazy concepts introduced too late, and there was more than one Deus Ex Machina if you know what I mean. Instead of a proper build up that ended on a strong final note, it felt like a brief but sudden blaze that flickers out to leave darkness.
Less dynamic camera: Made it hard to follow the action sometimes. In a way it’s like the plot; too much momentum and not enough time to process it. A good spectacle is worth nothing if there’s no chance to digest it.
Flat supporting cast: Again, this is because TRIGGER’s animes have been strong in this aspect. The movie timeframe means limited screen time, but Mad Max Fury Road had only ten more minutes and managed to set up its supporting cast well. In Promare, they’re mostly reduced to archetypes. What are their relationships? Motivations? They feel more like talking props, like the NPCs you have milling about the map shouting flavour text. There might be more in the supplementary material but for the movie itself, I didn’t like most of the characters not named Lio or Galo. In fact-
Don’t like Galo: Or rather, don’t find him compelling. Unlike Ryuko or Simon, I don’t think he could carry a series. He lacks depth and drive beyond ‘I am a firefighter’. Sure, he’s stupid and loud, but those are personality traits, not a personality. Being nice, determined, having a love of pizza…these all feel so generic and TRIGGER is capable of so much more. Galo feels like an alright lead in a movie where a lot is happening, so he doesn’t have to carry anything in terms of emotion or drive, but he’d be boring in a full-length series. Or even a movie trilogy.
Don’t like Lio?: While I don’t agree that every conflict has two equal sides, I dislike how squeaky-clean Lio is. He feels more like the shonen protagonist than Galo sometimes. He’s caring, skilled, honourable, intelligent, determined. His flaws? If you shoot him then try to commit genocide he’ll knock on your door and ask to fight you. It’s unclear if there’s any casualties during his rampage, which makes sense because we know his flames can be harmless (by his choice) and he was specifically threatening to destroy Kray’s city unless Kray listened. On the other side you have Vulcan and Kray. He could’ve afforded a bit more ruthlessness and still come out clearly heroic. It would have given him more intensity to better contrast Galo.
WHAT I WANTED
In summary? Promare as an anime instead of a film. I’d give up smooth fights and shiny CGI any day for stronger writing and characters with impact.
Longer timeframe in-universe: The plot essentially takes place over a week, which limits how much development characters and relationships can undergo. Lio feels too ready to trust Galo. Galo can’t process Kray’s betrayal. The sisters’ story is just kind of shoved on you like unwanted vegetables spooned out by a health-conscious mother. Dr. Exposition suddenly comes in and starts tying up loose ends so abruptly I had to check my phone to see if the movie was almost over. The short timeframe means Promare feels like a marathon-length sprint.
More moral ambiguity: The Mad Burnish are still righteous and try to minimise damage. However, their plans don’t always work. They leave escape routes but fail to account for impaired mobility. Young Burnish lose control while they’re on the run, endangering ordinary humans. Lio is forced to make tough choices. He becomes more jaded, which leads up to the betrayal where he can truly break and begin rampaging. I’m not saying he needed a full Satsuki Kiryuuin thing, but damn do I miss her sheer badass aura. Lio lacks that dangerous feeling. You know he’s apologising inside if he steps on you.
Galo’s popularity: Galo is shown to have great PR and love playing the crowd. Kray has good PR. The Burnish have bad PR. Instead of Prometh looping a vid with his hacking powers, Galo could’ve convinced the city of Kray’s evil the traditional way: a big speech about humanity and believing in yourself (and not Kray because Kray is evil).
Promare: Lio tells us the fire is alive. Interesting. Prometh says the fire is actually aliens from a parallel dimension whose prime directive is to burn also they feel pain if the Burnish are hurt. My reaction is like Galo’s: I sleep. The entire concept of the promare…I just don’t like it. Maybe I don’t like how they al disappear at the end and fix the Burnish.
In my ideal Promare, the things I love TRIGGER for would all be present. Strong supporting cast. Multifaceted characters. Build up that just gets more ridiculous and epic at a steady pace. Good fights but also quieter breather moments. More jokes.
More Promare, basically.

More than Meets the Eye, beginner’s guide / resources
This guide is long. Use the headings to find the information you need & if you’ve got resources this post lacks send them along!
Tumblr media
Has anyone pitched the comic More than Meets the Eye to you yet? It’s a very gay action-adventure comedic drama with robots and you would probably love it (especially if you’re lgbt and/or have good taste). Here’s a few posts/articles that will tell you why you’d love it:
This article review/retrospective was what got me to read MTMTE. (warning - it has a bunch of spoilers, that didn’t bother me but might bother you)
My semi-jokey MTMTE sales pitch
@zzxid’s salespitch with dancing rats
This full entire page of radical space socialist philosophy
15 Reasons Why MTMTE/the sequel is The Best Transformers Comic (warning - has spoilers, though some will prob go over your head as a new reader)
Kiss me, Chromedome - retrospective article by The Guardian, contains some spoilers

How/Where to Read
Okay, maybe you’re convinced. Now you want to know how/where to read MTMTE. Got you covered:
Detailed guide by @gaymilesedgeworth: How to start reading Transformers Comics
My very short answer: just read MTMTE in trade paperback form. That way all the issues are in order and you get all the extra stuff (there are prose stories after a couple issues that are very important so don’t skip them!) They’re available that way as both physical and digital books.
Here’s some ways to get access, legally (US centric, sorry):
If your local library has Hoopla (digital library subscription service), you may have access to some of the MTMTE trades that way. They’d be here; but check if you library has Hoopla first.
Your local library very well might have physical copies, so check their website!
If not and you’re very patient you can often request inter-library loans (your library borrows the books from another library) or request your library purchase materials.
You can buy digital trades via either IDW or Comixology. Comixology also includes the first 5 volumes in their comics subscription service. I’ve seen the series go on sale on both of these sites at least 4 times in the past 6 months, so keep an eye out! (Sometimes IDW participates in humble bundles, which are great, but those sales are far more infrequent)
You can also buy them in trade form from wherever you can buy books/comics. US links: Amazon, B&N, Comic Store Locators

Character Guides
So you’ve picked up this comic and oh boy there are a lot of robots. You’re a little intimidated. Maybe you’re having a hard time telling them apart.
If you have the paperback, there’s a guide to the characters on the back cover/the last page of the digital volume. See a copy here.
It’s okay if you keep reading not knowing who these robots are. For real. You’ll get the hang of it. Don’t worry if it takes you awhile and you’re confused. Everyone’s a little lost the first time through.
Some helpful posts in case you’re struggling:
Here’s a guide that matches appearance -> name, and one that matches name -> background info (both spoiler free for issues 1-22)
A visual guide by @squireofgeekdom and @kscinewt: here
Another helpful visual character guide by @bluering8: here
If you’re confused and need help, please ask! I’m willing to answer questions, I know @gaymilesedgeworth has volunteered to answer new reader questions. (Willing to help out new readers? Lemme know and I’ll make this a list)

Lore & Background Info
Okay, so maybe now you’ve gotten into it. You want more information, you want to know all the background lore, you want to dig deep. Awesome! Got you covered!
The holy grail of Transformers information, TFwiki. A slightly snarky, overly-minutely-detailed wiki for the digital age.
They’ve also got a tumblr if you’ve got questions.
And Chris McFeely, one of the main editors, runs a Youtube series called The Basics where he explains characters/concepts across continuities
The podcast Sound.wav has episodes talking about every issue of MTMTE in great detail.
The writer of More than Meets the Eye, James Roberts, answers fan questions on his twitter. I’ve archived a lot of those questions at @jrtweetsindex.
More than Meets the Eye has a soundtrack, because of course it does. People have made playlists collecting it on spotify and youtube.

Further Reading
I finished MTMTE, what’s next?
If you want the direct sequel to MTMTE, go straight to Lost Light, the sequel series. It’s still ongoing and (as of right now) 12 issues have been released. There are spoilers for it EVERYWHERE on Tumblr, fair warning.
There are also a bunch of other series within the IDW comics universe, depending on what you’re interested in.
@zandergb has a chronological listing of all the IDW comics
TFwiki summarizes the IDW comics line
alt chronological guide
another guide/reading order.
You don’t have to read all the books! If you want to just read Lost Light/MTMTE, you can do just that.
There’s also a bunch of animated series, which don’t exist in the same continuity as the IDW comics. Some of them are well liked.
@ponett has a guide that’ll help you decide which you’d enjoy
And here’s a brief guide by TFWiki
There’s also the Michael Bay movies which are awful and so is he. Not gonna recommend watching them, but if you wanted to learn about film theory by listening to Lindsay Ellis dissect them, there’s a youtube series for that.
Tumblr media
Fan Stuff
Okay...but what about fan content and fanfic and art and community events?
First thing to know: Transformers content is posted on tumblr under the tag Maccadam. (more detailed explanation why) A lot of mtmte content is also under ‘mtmte’, so look there too. I only use Maccadam if I think a post deserves to be seen by a lot of people but opinions vary.
Second thing to know - the sequel to MTMTE, Lost Light is still being published and you will see ALL SORTS OF SPOILERS for it on Tumblr. To mitigate the damage, try blocking “LL Spoilers” “Lost Light Spoilers” and “Wednesday Spoilers”. You cannot avoid it all, so if you don’t want anything spoiled, get caught up on both MTMTE and Lost Light before browsing around Tumblr.
Fanfiction:
Warning! A lot of Transformers fanfiction is smut. Please take a moment to integrate this fact into your understanding of the universe. If you can handle that, go ahead to AO3.
If you’re curious about all the terminology used in those fics, here’s a guide to it (not every writer uses every word, but this will get you started)
If you’re not into the idea of robots having sex, here’s a link to AO3 with my personal best-effort safe-search (no guarantees, relies upon people tagging properly)
And here’s a blog dedicated to recommending good sfw transformers fanfiction
If you want to know more about Transformers fanfic, I did a whole statistical survey of it, cause I’m a dork.
Here’s an old-school Transformers-only fanfic archive (I don’t see a category for IDW comics but maybe you can find somehing)
Fanart&Fanfic Events/Zines/Gift Exchanges/Collaborative Projects:
As many active projects as I could find - I’ll try to keep this one updated
Fan Artists:
(same warning as the fanfic - there’s a goodly amount of transformers pornographic art, be aware of that and block ‘nsfw’ if necessary)
There are a ton of active fanartists who draw IDW Transformers art. If you search a bit under ‘Maccadam’ you’ll find them.
@iaconlibrary reblogs a great deal of fanart & is a great place to start browsing
Roleplay:
If you’re into roleplaying on tumblr @teletrans-comm-unit runs a master list of active rp blogs
Transformers: Lost and Found is a long-running independent game set on the Lost Light
TF:Galaxy appears to be a forum-based tf roleplay game
My Favorite Jokes:
The best amazon review
Emotional labor (nsfw-ish warning)
Bros with Vows
Hands
Conventions:
There are Transformers-specific conventions, which is pretty cool! I know nothing about them but tfwiki has some info: Official and Unofficial conventions.
Regrettable Opinions:
hey this is just a quick guide of things not to do so you don’t hurt other people in the community
Do not compare Megatron to Hitler. The comparison is both vapid and offensive, as Jewish members of this community have pointed out time and again.
Don’t say transphobic/homophobic/racist/antisemitic/sexist things. You’re better than that!
Don’t attack the creators of the books/harass them on social media/make bizarre unfounded accusations of them acting in bad faith
we’re really lucky that JRo and the other creators interact with us & answer questions and don’t you dare screw that up, I’m trusting you.
on a less serious but useful etiquette note: don’t tag creators into negative reviews of their work/people complaining about their work. It’s rude to the creator & the reviewer.
That was a short list but remember to also treat other people with respect & that it’s okay to disengage with content/people that upset you.
Fandom:
There’s a guide on Fanlore, but it’s freakishly outdated and doesn’t even mention the comics. If you’re a informed tf fan maybe you should update it. 😉
Tumblr!
MTMTE is a pretty small community on Tumblr, but there are a few cool folks. Remember, ‘maccadam’ and ‘mtmte’ are your tags of choice
Various websites!
Since the transformers fandom is super old, there are a bunch of dedicated websites with traditional forums to chat on. (most of these are news sites that also contain forums) idk anything about them but maybe forums are your thing:
TFW2005 - big site with a large community but be warned there appear to be more than a few alarmingly bigoted people on that site
TFormers
Cybertron.CA
Allspark.com
Seibertron
I’m gonna throw the IDW TF reddit on this list rather than make a new section
Discord!
there’s at least two active discords at the moment. I know nothing about them or discord, but maybe one of them would be to your liking:
#1 - run by @zzxid
#2 - run by ??
The community is, like all fan communities, is a mix of good and bad, awkward and friendly, opinionated and goofy, self-serious and offensive. You won’t like or agree with everyone and there are some folks you should probably block.
Just find some people who share your general outlook & are interacting with the books in the same way you want to 💕
-Lynn. I have no qualifications to write this guide, I am not an authority of anything. I just really want you to love these books. Last updated on Dec 24, 2017, click through to check for any updates.

Archive Project - April 9, 2014 - Pacific Rim Review
I was originally going to call this article "In Defense of Pacific Rim" but I don't feel that would be doing it justice. Pacific Rim is one of my new favorite movies and my favorite thing to come out last year. I even gave it the First Annual Hummy Award's Best of 2013 Award! I'm honestly a bit overzealous over this movie. I'm not too proud to admit that many better movies came out last year including Wolf of Wallstreet, Prisoners and Gravity. Pacific Rim however was my favorite movies of 2013! None of those other movies however were more exciting to me than this! I've shown this movie to a dozen of my friends and the reactions they gave me back were for the most part indifferent. A lot of my friends even came back with bad reactions to the movie which is almost baffling to me. I know a lot of people didn't see this one, it came out in mid summer around a time when most people were having Blockbuster Fatigue after Man of Steel, Star Trek into Darkness, Fast and Furious 6, World War Z, etc. Thus the idea of seeing a Transformers knockoff would seem like an unbearable concept.. Honestly if YOU haven't seen this movie yet, GO SEE PACIFIC RIM!! Just on a movie making level, the film is fantastic! A tremendously great visual effects spectacle that revels in the absurd and awesome and lacks any of the cynicism found in a lot of mainstream Blockbusters. Its a fresh, fun and tense experience, the likes of which weren't on display for most of 2013. Not convinced? Ok then… Here are 7 reasons why you should Redbox Pacific Rim tonight!! 1. Homage to Kaiju Movies! Most Americans aren't well accustomed to seeing Monster movies anymore. While they were at once a staple of Cinema, nowadays for the most part Blockbuster action movies tend to gravitate towards things like Superheroes, Fantasy or Science Fiction. I've spent some of my time lately going through every Godzilla movie and Mystery Science Theater 3000 special dedicated to Monster movies as possible and i'm having a blast doing it! Monster movies are an important part of the history of World Cinema, especially that of which came out of Japan. If you have never seen a Kaiju movie though, Pacific Rim is a great place to start. The opening scene actually gives the dictionary definition of the world Kaiju, which in Japanese translates to monster. Among the genre, this movie is about the best the genre has ever looked in terms of visual effects on display. Though its honestly a bit funny going from something like Gozilla vs. Mothra, where the effects budget and capabilities at the time are fairly silly in comparison, Pacific Rim is awesome enough to pay homage through easter eggs and references to the great Kaiju of old, especially Godzilla! 2. Homage to Japanese Pop Culture! On the other end of the movie's scale, opposite the Giant Monsters are the Jaegars: giant manmade robots that fight against the Kaiju. While the monsters are a more direct homage to old Monster movies, the Jaeger robots are homage to the rest of Japanese culture; a one stop shop reference to Power Rangers and Shonen Anime like Dragonball Z and Bleach! If you know me, you know I love Shonen Anime! The characters, Jaegar designs and even some of the shots and plot details feel like they are popping of the page of a Manga book. 3. Pacific Rim is NOT Transformers! Looking at the poster for the first time without any of the knowledge about Kaiju movies and Anime, a general audience member would probably assume Pacific Rim falls into the same bucket of action movies as Transformers and Battleship… the dumb, incoherent, messes who's slimy tentacles have filled the entertainment industry with the notion that audiences are dumb and pandering to them will make them ALL DAH MONYZZ! Pacific Rim is not one of those! Guillermo Del Toro is one of the best living directors in Hollywood! An intelligent, unique director responsible for such gems are Hellboy and Blade II, as well as playing the producer role on dozens of Animated movies and works like The Hobbit Trilogy. Pacific Rim is his first attempt at a huge, bombastic Blockbuster and its managed to look, sound and work better than a dozen others that came out at the same time. It manages to be good by making all of it's elements cool, or at the very least functional, and keeping itself simple. There is an effective difference between Stupid and Simple and this, like The Avengers, knows it! 4. Fresh Original Concept! In this world of Sequels, Reboots, Remakes, Adaptions, Reimaginings and anything else Hollywood can cough up, seeing a big budget action movie NOT adapted from another source material. Its original! Pacific Rim was not directly based on a book a comic or an old movie or tv show. It's an original concept! Its kinda sad that there is something profound to the idea of original ideas in movies, but it totally is! 5. Rinko Kikuchi as Mako Mori! Rinko is now one of my favorite new female actresses! Beyond portraying just a strong, confident woman in the role of Mako Mori, she brings a lot of depth and emotions to her character. Mako is essentially an anime archetype but her character ends up being one of the films genuine highlights, and goes beyond just being a great female character. After seeing 47 Ronin, its clear this woman has a great acting range and I can't wait to see her in more films! 6. Dat Music!! Most blockbusters have really memorable music. Star Trek into Darkness and Man of Steel did. Of all the blockbusters i've seen in the past two years though, I have not listened to their soundtracks as many times as I have Pacific Rim's! Its absolutely great and really powerful music! The dude/dudette behind this needs to be commended with the year's best music scoring for a Blockbuster Action movie! 7. Giant robots are cool!!! Self explanatory! They are indeed very cool! The movie sells itself as giant robots vs. monsters and delivers hard!   Going into this, it doesn't promise to be anything better than that but the movie is so fun and smartly made that it ends up going beyond it's roots and becoming something else. Pacific Rim is one of my new favorite movies ever! It resonates with me in ways that few other movies can and I'm desperately hoping that they can make another one someday! Please, See this movie as soon as you can if you haven't before! Thank you for reading! Live long and prosper! 1Rhyannon Jones1 CommentLikeCommentShare

So I had a night to sleep on BATB and here’s what I think about it.
Read more since this is not spoiler free.
The Good
The Prologue- It does drive the point more home that Adam was an straight stuck up ass hole who only cared about pretty people.. Audra Freaking McDonald was awesome because she slay me always! I love Stanley Tucci character as well.
Belle- The opening scene was very good. It gave this Cinderella (Brandy version feel to it which felt grand. That honestly the only part of the movie that felt really grand and they went “ go big or go home” with.
Days in the Sun- There’s something in my eye.Damn that was beautiful.  Althought with Adam/Beast backstory, why they didn’t take pieces from the original story? Instead of his mom dying they could have said she was a warrior queen, fighting in a war but never come back. You had the original story with the Prince having a backstory sitting right there to use.
Evermore- Let me here to die. Dan was probably the saving grace of the movie besides Josh Grad and maybe Luke Evans. His facial expressions while he was the beast was really good.I believe that he was in love with her which I can’t stay on Emma’s side ( How I feel about her will be later)
Everyone turning inanimate when the last rose petal fell was so gut wrenching because they were the innocent party in this which the movie drive that point home beautifully.
I’m glad they fixed the plot hole with curse by not saying it blooms till his 21 year but just changing it to the last rose petal fall. Also changing it for being 10 year since the curse was enacted to many years. It confusing in the original cause everyone was trying to figure out was Adam 11 years old when he was curse. Which couldn’t be right since in the prologue stain glass he was depicted as a young man.
The Bad
Gaston scene- Luke was pretty good as Gaston but his music number fell flat. The first part of it was really good but when it come to second part where they supposedly fighting with swords that’s when it fell flat. I remember listening to Gaston on the soundtrack and thinking “ Hey they are going to put a big dance number in this part !yes” which they didn’t at all. When you add instrumentation like that which sounds big and grand, that’s the perfect time to put a huge dance number in that spot. I’m talking about people dancing on tables, people doing flips, kicks and spins, guys doing back flips off the tables, ladies doing spins in their dresses while dancing with panthers and much more. If you watching any musical or broadway play you know what I what I’m talking about. They didn’t do that at all. It was just Gaston dancing with one chick for like two second before going into a sword fight which wasn’t that good. In other words, they half assed the shit out that scene.  This was a moment they could have went full out with and they played safe with it big time.
Be Our Guest-What they hell was that? Seriously? They went so over the top with it that felt more boring than entertaining. Emma’s lack of emotion expressions told it all.
The Ballroom scene- Sigh. The letdown of the century cause it felt so short and nothing magical about it at all. I’m not going to get into her dress when still looked plain with magical glitter thanks to the Audra’s character thrown into it. ( This me watching from a good cam rip y'all) I understand they wanted to make it more authentic to the French dances that was popular at that time but they should have left it as a straight waltz instead of trying to be fancy and complicated. It come out being more robotic than romantic. Dan and Emma could have learned a simple waltz which probably would took them less time to learn which they could have use that time to actually look like they was falling in love while filming that scene. Less Dance lessons More time to act like yall in love. Got it! That goes for the grand finale as well with unnecessary sexy growls... ( Her dress was pretty and looked better than the yellow dress.)
I felt like this when when watching it.
Tumblr media
Honestly that was my feeling during the whole movie.  It’s longer than the 90′s anime but when it come to the iconic scenes , they felt sort changed to me. Like they didn’t go full out with those scenes and try to set themselves apart from the 90′s version at all.
Ok
The Ugly
Emma Watson- Oh goodness. How the hell can you let everyone outshine you? YOU ARE THE MAIN FREAKING STAR OF THIS MOVIE! Even the Enchantress out shine you and she had no freak speaking parts. Even the boy who was baby adam who was only in the movie via flashback. In the words of my good friend @blackmantagirl “ She’s forever stuck in Hermione mode” which not good when you want to be known for more than that. I stg my fave scene when Belle calls the Adam/Beast out on his shit after he save her from the wolves sound like Hermione and Ron getting into it in this version…. It sounds more like scolding a child and not your potential love interest out on their shit which Hermione did to Ron all the time in the HP movies…. I see Emma trying to play Belle not her playing Belle. But a Belle that couldn’t relate to at all in this one. They made her into a inventor but she just invented one thing which is a washing machine which I don’t consider her an inventor at all.  Also her fake ass laughing though her scenes with the beast got on my nerves big time. Can we please teach her how to show emotions during the transformation scene which a pivotal moment in the movie? She was just standing there looking emotionless with her mouth half open instead of full of shock and awe. She really dropped the ball on this.
Overall this movie felt like it didn’t have no soul at all. It just felt like a very hollow version of the 90′s version which they spend more money on. I was more bored with it than actually impressed with it.  I may watch it one more time once when it get release on Blu-Ray/dvd and hit the movie channels but it becoming a fave? I highly doubt it. The novelization of the movie was actually better than the actual movie.

Something incredible happened! Last weekend we spent an unbelievable day with the Incredibles 2 cast including Holly Hunter, Craig T. Nelson, Sarah Vowell, Writer-director Brad Bird, Sophia Bush, Samuel L. Jackson, Producer Nicole Grindle, the new Dash – Huck Milner, Catherine Keener, Bob Odenkirk, and producer John Walker. While the entire cast had nothing but incredible things to say about working on this, well, incredible film, it was getting to listen to Writer-director Brad Bird gush about his love of animation, just as a proud parent would do about their accomplished child, the secret behind the Incredibles 2 nod to Johnny Quest and The Outer Limits, and why he created this film for adults just as much as he did kids.
Behind the Incredibles 2 Nod to Johnny Quest, The Outer Limits
Q: Brad. In the film, when Jack-Jack is watching the TV, that’s clearly a cartoon that you guys created. But later in the film, you used footage from Outer Limits and Johnny Quest. What was the thought behind that?
Brad Bird: One of my personal rules in an animated film is that if they’re watching something on TV, it should be animated. So the soundtrack of the old movie is an actual soundtrack from an old movie that we found that was perfect, and we animated to it. Johnny Quest is an animated show, so it fit into the universe, and it’s the style of the film. It’s that kind of action adventure style from the early 60s. Outer Limits, we only used the beginning of it because it’s still abstract. It’s still lines and things. It’s not visual photographs. That part fit really well with the Screenslaver thing because they’re talking about taking control of your TV. I just remember when I was a kid, that scared the crap out of me. That the TV once a week was being controlled by who? Aliens? But I couldn’t leave the room. But I would just be hiding from the TV because it was being taken over. We control the vertical. We control the horizontal. And I’m like they control the horizontal.
I love Johnny Quest. A lot of people don’t remember that it wasn’t made for Saturday morning. It was made for prime time. It came on at night. Adults watched it and people died in it. It had everything an eight-year wants in entertainment. It has mummies. It has pterodactyls and guns. A kid from another country who can levitate things. A bodyguard who has a fling with a girl that might be dangerous, and lasers, and hydrofoils, and jetpacks, and reptiles, and robot spies, and I just about exploded when I saw the opening titles to it. So we just had to give Johnny Quest a shout out. Had to.
Q: Brad, I wanted to talk about how, when you see an animated movie or if you’re doing PR for an animated film, it’s okay, yeah, I’ll take the kids. But I feel like the first movie, and especially the second one, it’s just a great movie. Like you don’t need to take the kids. It’s just great for like grown-ups.
Brad Bird: Yeah. Kids are strangely treated like beards for animated films. I’m a single guy, but I want to see this. I found a kid. Can I come in now? Here is this kid. He was roaming the streets. I told him I would pay for his ticket. Will you let me in? And it’s like, no man.
It’s like for anyone that likes movies, and you don’t need to have a kid. People are constantly coming up to me. My kid really enjoyed it. I go, did you like it? They go oh yeah, sure. But Billy really liked it. And I’m like, I made it for you, and Billy can come. I’m not a kid, and I made it something that I would want to see.
Incredibles 2 opens in theaters this Friday, and with a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, you won’t want to miss this film. Check out more behind the scenes conversations from the Incredibles 2 cast interviews below.
Incredibles 2 Cast Interviews
Q: I re-watched the first movie on Monday night just to refresh and recharge. When I saw the movie on Tuesday it was like not a second goes by between the two films. What was behind the decision to pick it up right away instead of having like an older Violet, an older Dash, an older Jack-Jack.
Brad Bird: I just thought it was kind of bold and weird. Because I think people take the time that passes very literally, and they think that linearly, the characters should have aged. But if they age, their superpowers don’t reflect the part of life that they’re in and their role in the family. So I worked on the first eight seasons of the Simpsons and the Simpsons haven’t aged a day and they’re still on the air. So it worked for them. And why not us?
Q: Nicole and John, there has obviously been a big leap in technology since the first movie. How did you really take advantage of those advancements and improvements to make Incredibles 2 really pop on the screen?
Nicole Grindle: Honestly, the technology has allowed us to make the film look more like what Brad intended it to look like the first time. The characters are much more finely nuanced and developed. We were able to build a lot more sets more quickly. We’ve populated the world with a lot more characters that have hair and clothing. That’s stuff that most of y’all don’t notice, but actually, that makes the world feel richer and more alive. Not to mention all the other visual effects stuff. We’ve also got a lot of artists who have had 14 years to get better at their craft. A lot of artists who were some of the kids when the first film came out, and it’s a dream come true for them to work on this film.
Q: Huck, when did you see the first movie for the first time and how did it come about that you were going to be a part of Incredibles 2?
Huck Milner: I saw the first movie when I was like five or something. My dad showed me it because he really loved the first one. I really loved it, too, and my favorite character was Dash probably.
When I got the audition, I was watching the movie over and over again and when my mom got sick of watching it, I used the audition as an excuse to watch it again.
Q: A lot of people I’m sure have noticed, and certainly it’s getting picked up a lot, is the role reversal with this movie between Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible. Violet really steps up. Holly, what was your first take when you first read the screenplay, however long ago that was and saw that role reversal?
Holly Hunter: It was a while before I truly realized what I was really going to get to do in the movie, and I was really thrilled. But it was like a retroactive thrill because over a period of months before I started gleefully singing during our recording sessions about how great my part was. I don’t think that this is a message movie in any way. I think it’s purely the luck of the draw that this happens to be dovetailing with me, too, and times up. It happens to be serendipitously reflected in this particular movie, but at the same time, it’s character revelation period. Everybody is having revelations including Jack-Jack. All the characters are revelations to the audience and to themselves.
Q: Craig, what’s your take on that, too?
Craig T. Nelson: We argued about it, and then I found out that I’m going to be helping save the family and Bob is going to learn how to be a dad and he’s going to learn about these kids. Then the process started when we were recording. It was just so much fun. The stuff I did with Violet and the two of us together and Jack-Jack and that whole discovery. And then Dash. Having to deal with Elastigirl out there doing what I want to do and being able to give her the encouragement and let her know that everything is okay. It was just a lot of fun. I’m so honored to be a part of it. To be doing this.
Q: Sophia, I know you’re not only a big fan of the first movie. You’re a big Pixar fan, too. So what blew you away in terms of working with the Pixar team, working with Brad, working with the other filmmakers?
Sophia Bush: One of the things that I think is so cool about the whole thing is the layering of all the technology that makes these films look to all of us the way they look in Brad’s head. It’s wild to see the early stages of animation and to watch some of the scenes and then see what they become in the final edit. It’s also totally nuts to go into the studio. I know that technically I’m talking to Holly, but she’s not there. It’s like me and Brad. And I’m just yelling into a void going am I doing this right?
Q: Catherine, working on the film and over the years or the extended period of time that you were voicing the character and then seeing the movie with the cast, with the crew, with the filmmakers on the big screen. What was that like for you to see the finished product for the first time?
Catherine Keener: It was very thrilling and fun. I just wanted to go back to a couple of things. First, I’m just getting to know all these people. Sarah and I have been friends for a long time. 15, 14 years, whatever. I’ve known Holly. I’ve known you. You guys. But I’m realizing that Brad kind of mined a lot of the inside of these people in the characters. And like Craig was talking about, I was just talking to him about his kids, and he’s a big mush dad, granddad, and you can see that. All of these people are awesome. I would see any movie where Holly is a badass regardless of gender. I’ve done press with this man. I know he’s done roles where he’s played maybe not so likeable a guy. Is that right? But he actually is very, very sweet and his character has that, too. So I just appreciate how insightful you are, even though you’re incredibly weird in a way. In the best way.
Q: Bob, what are your thoughts on the finished film?
Bob Odenkirk: It was super fun to see it. I loved it. I’ve been knocked out by the visuals in this film, and I’ve only seen the little moments from it in the course of recording this. So to see it in the big beautiful color on the giant screen, I knew it was going to be amazing. It’s beyond all expectations. I feel like somehow there’s new technology that you’re not telling us about, but because it’s got such richness and depth, that was a great treat.
But again, like everyone else, I didn’t read the whole script. There is never a whole script that you can read. So it’s the first time I get to see the whole story. I’m once again amazed at Brad Bird’s talent as a writer and director and orchestrator of story. There’s like five movies in this movie and they all work together to throw each other into relief and make each other better. It was a hell of an experience and everyone in my family, including nieces and nephew, young, my son and daughter, older, teenagers. Everyone related to, they enjoyed the whole story, and everyone related to different characters and themes because there are so many and they’re delivered on so well.
Q: Jack-Jack turned out to be one of my favorite characters, probably because of his partnership with the Raccoon. I just wanted to know, where did that come from? How did you guys decide to give Jack-Jack an animal villain?
Brad Bird: That was one of our key artists on the first film who helped to sign the characters, Teddy Newton. He had this idea back on the original film where he had a gang of raccoons that Jack-Jack kind of confronts. The raccoons come up and shove Jack-Jack in his original drawings. It went a lot darker believe it or not. They fought and went to the bottom of the pool and all this stuff. The idea always just killed me because raccoons look vaguely like robbers. Teddy did a drawing where he’s watching an old movie like is in the film and he sees a classic robber with a mask and then he looks out in the yard and something is stealing from him, a robber is stealing from his family. It doesn’t matter that it’s garbage. Jack-Jack doesn’t know that. He just knows that he’s being robbed and he must do something about it. I loved that. It was so visual and clear. It was such an off the wall idea that that was one of the things that I couldn’t wait to do if we got another Incredibles going.
Q: For Holly, Craig, or Sam, ever since the first movie came out, do you have kids come up to you, recognize your voice, associate you with this movie particularly?
Samuel L. Jackson: Kids don’t do that. Their parents do, and they try to make the kid know who you are. That’s Frozone, honey. He’s looking at you like, you don’t have a blue suit on. You’re not making ice stuff. So, nah. Where is my super suit, honey? Oh. What is this? And they have to give him a catchphrase. They don’t know who we are from Adam. Now as they got older, like the kids that are going to be now, the kids were four and saw the movie and now are 18. So they’ve been waiting. They’re knocking little kids over to get in line. My daughter is 35. She’s knocking big kids over to get in.
It’s been 14 years, I don’t remember what I said in the first one. I mean, okay. How about this? It’s show time. Lift my car up. Hold the kid.

About Incredibles 2
In “Incredibles 2,” Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible. Written and directed by Brad Bird (“Iron Giant,” “The Incredibles,” “Ratatouille”) and produced by John Walker (“The Incredibles,” “Tomorrowland”) and Nicole Grindle (“Sanjay’s Super Team” short, “Toy Story 3” associate producer), Disney•Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018.
Behind the Incredibles 2 Nod to Johnny Quest, The Outer Limits Something incredible happened! Last weekend we spent an unbelievable day with the Incredibles 2 cast including Holly Hunter, Craig T.

My Dream Sonic Movie Stuff
I felt like putting revealed but just I’m worried it might not be all of it. Also was listening to this and was thinking of this. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YUN7DIDGpjk Infinite’s theme but I first thought of this when I was at Target. Yet didn’t wanna type a big thing and my phone battery was low even right now 33 percent. But I feel I should just reveal this.
Ever since the leak from Reddit I have it on my blog I’ve reblogged it and think should I tag it. Yet just….would get more attention just something I mean the leak itself. Including shared it with my friend Fatpinkraccoon and I think he said it was decent and wait
So I was trying to find the draft and he said it doesn’t sound horrible and he’s open up to it or some shit. Just seriously I was trying to find this draft I saved now 31 percent.
Yet seriously but I’m gonna get what I’m talking about. It’s about just I wanna be honest but or just…I feel like it went it’s good that if the leak is true or not. I mean my version is honestly kind of crazy. While the movie is kind of simple and alright. Despite some stuff I’m bothered with and liked.
Yeah it’s possibly better then my ideas I’ll explain.
Since I’m a Zack Snyder fan and I’ve even said I want to see Zack Snyder make a Sonic film. Which just…it can’t be weird yet I like him very much and Deborah Snyder too who helps him. Including I’m a DCEU fan and just it’s rare to find some Sonic fans and DCEU as one but found some.
Yet my ideas were basically kind of crazy I wanna talk about the ones I should just reveal. Because I feel like it’s not gonna be how I imagine it.
Including spoilers for the DCEU but mainly for Batman V Superman Dawn Of Justice only that but just in case beware.
So mainly keep thinking of a trilogy or even a series of movies that’s kind of similar mainly to BVS to Justice League. While the first movie okay I think I have a story but not much.
Basically what I keep thinking is Sonic and Eggman or Robotink being said more have known each other for years. With Metal Sonic being introduced in the film. Including the film basically just has references and these ideas of these movies.
Is that they have awesome visual references or just being based upon certain stuff. Such as the origin of Metal Sonic basically being based upon his origin from the OVA even a shot to shot remake I guess of his birth. Even the, “Strange Isn’t It” line is reference because of how much I loved that movie. Including how it interpreted Metal Sonic.
Along with the music the soundtracks being scored by Hans Zimmer if he was up for it along with Junkie XL most likely would for scores. Including very meaningful ones.
While the songs are some picked from the games to go with certain events.
Theirs even a remake version of the Sonic CD intro almost left Boom but you know the song and have it there but with Modern Sonic or movie Sonic. Even stuff like the Death Egg Robot but the story was a problem whether go with the Death Egg or Little Planet in respect of Metal Sonic and my friend Fatpinkraccoon messaged me about don’t be hyped for movies just it didn’t show the whole thing didn’t press it. Might be how he meant about Sonic Forces.
Yet also the music the songs not just from the games. But new ones selected from certain musical groups. Such as Linkin Park despite the tragic event that happened, Red, Disturbed and seriously, “Ten Thousand Fists” is amazing and just have that during a team up battle scene.
Then theirs the sequel and the crazy idea Sega would want Shadow early but I want Chaos done first too. Yet I was even making myself think that giving it a exuse. But the idea of mixing Sonic Adventure 1 and 2’s story together to have both Shadow and Chaos working together along with Dr. Eggman, Rouge, and Metal Sonic.
Including it’s still difficult of how to put those together. Such as Gerald’s plans and Perfect Chaos and the Ark. Also Tikal is in there too even talks to Shadow at times along with others.
Their is also the idea that the sequel is basically the Dawn Of Justice of the Sonic movies where the ending is of Super Sonic, Super Shadow, Perfect Chaos now reformed, and even Metal Sonic who knows the planet will die if he doesn’t help they all fight the Biolizard who’s strong as fuck.
Including it’s basically the Trinity vs Doomsday in BVS and it’s on Earth. Including in a weird way Metal Sonic is in Wonder Woman’s role because coming out of nowhere because he knows he needs to get involved.
Even the ending and I’ve made a huge text post where Shadow kills the Biolizard and the Biolizard kills him too. They even seriously bury Shadow as well and it causes people to think and makes them sad.
Then the sequel is basically Sonic Rush and Sonic Lost World into one no Eggman Nega but Blaze, Marine, and the Deadly Six. Where it even features Shadow’s rebirth.
Even his rebirth is basically a visual reference to Sonic X in the third season. He seriously launches out of his grave and but you know see his face but I guess his well shadow see what I did there or even feet or back of him looking at his monument.
He then just finds where a battle is at and his rings his inhibitor rings he took all four of them off and Amy has them. Including he finds these two Chaos Emeralds or how many were there when he returned and everyone is like HOLY FUCKING SHIT SHADOW BACK FROM THE FUCKING GRAVE HE’S ALIVE AGAIN the whole world goes ape shit or just so surprised.
Yet Shadow lost his memory when he supposedly died and I wanna put this he’s like I CAN’T REMEMBER SHIT BECAUSE I GOT STABBED BY A FUCKING BIOLIZARD or some shit. I forgot basically or was it like I CAN’T FUCKING DIE I WAS IN A COMA or some shit okay yeah I WAS HEALING FOR A SHIT LONG TIME FOR MONTHS or something because he can’t die. Yeah he got stabbed in the chest where his heart is at and everyone finds out about that he seriously can’t die.
But also he’s like not able to remember anything even they tell him he scarificed himself for the Earth and forgot does he just get out of his grave quickly or does he look at his monument forgot the first time of how I thought of it.
Yet even them telling him about the Ark he just can’t remember and doesn’t wanna help until something happens like characters words and actions he remembers everything before his death and back to the Ark and when he remembers he’s like to Zavok DON’T YOU DARE THREATEN MY FAMILY or YOU DARE THREATEN MY FAMILY while beating the shit out of him. That’s a reference to Man Of Steel and just the word family is a big word. Including Shadow because of Maria and Gerald the word means something to him or bothers him.
I even forgot in the sequel when kicking Sonic’s ass theirs a Martha moment I even made a post of that before Sonic Forces but it’s a moment I like and I understand it. Yet when Sonic says what about Maria or some shit and he even says SAVE MY FAMILY and okay WHAT ABOUT MARIA basically the scene where someone ether Amy or Chris tries to talk to Shadow. This basically haunts Shadow and he’s like STOP SAYING THAT NAME because he thinks he should be the only one to say that name. I’ve even quoted this and afterwards he’s like NO ONE’S FAMILY IS DYING TONIGHT.
I should just reveal basically Shadow’s role is mixing Batman and Superman’s character into one in a way.
But just I’m being weird and I need to talk about other stuff. Theirs Tails and I like Tails. You guys know and I was gonna say remember his Tornado yet weird it’s Sonic’s plane or whatever they say. Including remember it can turn into some vehicle in Sonic Adventure 2.
Also in Sonic X it’s the X Tornado and just imagine this. It’s a lot more fucking badass that even it’s vehicle forms has even more fucking guns kind of like tank. Basically just imagine the Bat vehicles even the Batmobile and just Tails is a fucking badass in that thing. It’s got fucking guns and can fly. Even other people can ride it.
Their also seems to be a lot of shouting WOOOOO mainly Sonic because I do that mainly Sonic Unleashed or some shit.
Including the other weird thing okay having the film be all CGI isn’t weird.
But I’m just also this I’m like so how are we gonna have, Catherine Taber (Lori Loud), Noel Wells(Lord Dominator) Ashley Burch (Enid) basically Loud House, Wander Over Yonder, OK KO and other actors how are we gonna fit them in and still think like human characters and new characters and others.
Including now with Sonic Forces out I’ve even revealed stuff. Such as a Team Chaotix movie with Vector, Espio, Charmy, Mighty, Ray, and maybe Madonna and forgot or might of thought of having Honey in there. Even the villains being Fang, Bean, and Bark and Sonic shows up at the end to help the Chaotix.
Their was even a Shadow film but not based upon the game but a new story. A Sonic Unleashed film as one of the sequels. Then a Sonic Mania movie. Now we have a two part movie of Sonic Forces with Silver appearing in the first one and this is all before Sonic Forces came out.
Including it’s not the big epic game I was hoping for that Fatpinkraccoon said I had false hopes about. Along with Infinite not being the Darkseid/Thanos of the Sonic universe where he kicks everyone’s ass. But yeah Sonic Mania being a prequel to Sonic Forces like how the game is too. To set up Classic Sonic and give classic fans a movie they want.
Yet just….over time shit changes. Even though I like Sonic Forces I still play it but I’m mixed on the game. Including my mindset has really changed. Such as I like the avatar and Infinite despite what his real story is……
I feel like that should be enough to be revealed. Such as just…I’ve talked about it before even sound tracks I listen from BVS I think of those scenes and just…..
Really it’s I thought in my head best that I’m not in charge of these films. I’ve basically created a franchise in my head and it’s caused me to go insane at times.
I said in my head let me have this like this leak. But even if it’s fake or not almost left rare instead of fake. Really just I like it oh head.
Okay but seriously it’s simple. Seriously my stomach even at the start of this somewhat but I’ve thought so much shit but not the first movie that’s all.
Got tags done and think no one else in other tags wants to be bothered. Wanna say 16 percent gonna charge this after I answer that message. Yet I’m surprised the Sonic movie 2019 tag showed up first
