[Heads up!: fluff, lil bit of angst/touching on Law's past]

Law ㅡ marriage isn't really something that Law thinks about, point blank. Does he want to spend his life with you? Yes, but he doesn't think that it's necessary to get married. To him, it feels like if he starts thinking like that, he's slapping a target on your back. But that's in terms of pre-Dressrosa ㅡ post, when he's getting a little more used to thinking of what he wants now that he's gotten justice for Cora, he might entertain it a little more.

He's still incredibly wary about it though, because y'know, ex-Warlord and post Wano, he's got a really hefty bounty on his head. Not necessarily conducive to stopping somewhere to get married. And in terms of marriage, he also isn't a fan of anything extravagant, either.

No, he'd be more inclined for a quiet ceremony ㅡ and not necessarily with rings, either. If you want them, he'll do it ㅡ but he'd rather exchange hearts. A little daunting yes, but it means more to him in that then you have his heart on a literal scale ㅡ and he has yours.

If you agree to it, it also means that he's a lot more cautious when you get caught in confrontations. That heart beating in his chest isn't his, after all, it's yours ㅡ so he definitely makes note to not be so careless because the last thing he wants is something to happen to you.

And again, with the ceremony ㅡ it's a quiet, private one with just the crew, but that's okay. They're his family and yours too, and there honestly isn't anyone he trusts more than them.

Now speaking if at the end of all of this, when everything is said and done and he gets that happy ending ㅡ if you want something a little more traditional, he's more willing to go with it. Doesn't cry necessarily, but he's definitely only got eyes for you.

Afterwards, when you're cuddled up to him, he thumbs at the ring on your hand with quiet awe. You're married to him, you're his ㅡ just as mich as he's yours. It makes him a little giddy every time he thinks about it ㅡ he's making the most of the life Cora gave his to allow him to have, and he gets to spend that life with you.

You woke up to the sound of your alarm blaring. You sat up slowly and stretched. You reached for your phone on the floor and turned off the alarm. Everyone started to wake up. Austin looked at you and gave you a gentle squeeze and pushed some hair from your face. You smiled at him as he smiled down at you.

Austin: “Good Morning, Cupcake.” He kissed your forehead.

You blushed and cocked your head, “cupcake?” And you started to giggle. “Good morning. How did you sleep?” You were sitting up and had your hand rested on his chest.

He put his hand over yours and traced his thumb over your knuckles, “I slept great with you next to me. It was very comforting.”

Bri: “That was beyond adorable.” She sat up nudging Billy to get up.

Billy: “Hey, what the hell?” He sat up quickly.

Austin looked over embarrassed and then looked back to you, “We should probably head out before the Princess gets up.” He looked over at Billy.

Billy: “Yea, we should definitely go before baby girl wakes up and sees her mommy with a strange man.” He laughed.

Bri hit him and he stopped. “Sorry.”

The two of you walked them over to the door. Their hands full with their costumes. You kissed Austin on the cheek and he was off.

Bri: “Did you even get his number?” she looked at you upset.

Y/n: “No, but he knows where to find me.” You winked at her.

Bri: “Oh wow! I like this y/n! So assertive, the come and get me if you want me.” She pushed you playfully.

You started to clean up the couches where you all were sleeping and then you started to make breakfast for the three of you before Leia woke up.

It was around 8 AM when you finished making breakfast. A very sleepy Leia stumbled into the kitchen rubbing her eyes. She was still in her costume. “Oh crap.”

Leia sat at the counter and then she looked down, “oh I need to go shower, momma. I’m still in my costume.” She giggled and stumbled towards the bathroom.

I knew I forgot to do something last night. God, she is going to have sand all over her bed. You thought to yourself.

Bri came out in her work clothes to have some breakfast. She ate and then she was off to work. Leia finally came out from cleaning up and sat with you at the counter. You fixed her plate of eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns. Then a plate on the side with a waffle and some fruit. As she ate you started to clean up the kitchen and wash the dishes. As you washed the dishes you just looked at your little Lei as she played with her little R2-D2 and BB-8 that Billy and Austin had bought for her. She was even making the little noises. You looked at her in awe, the flashbacks of the day she was born went through your head. The best day of your life.

You were sitting on the couch laying down and watching movies with Bri and Billy when you started to feel what felt like period cramps x10. They weren’t bad, but very uncomfortable. You didn’t think anything of it, you weren’t due for another 3 weeks. You’ve felt this before and begged Bri to rush you to the hospital only for it to just be your uterus being mangled around by your baby. So you laid there and continued watching the movie. The pain was occurring every other hour but it was like that before too. After about 4 hours of watching movies, the feeling intensified and were coming in shorter intervals. You shot up from the couch and Bri looked over at you concerned.

“You okay, girl?” She was now sitting up.

Billy: “Do you need help to the restroom again, y/n?” He said grabbing your hand and wrapping his arm around your waist.

He started to bring you over to the bathroom and you felt it. Your water broke and it ran down your leg and you and Billy were now standing in a puddle of your fluid.

Billy: “Holy shit y/n/n! Did you just piss yourself!?” He said still holding onto you but also trying to tiptoe out of the puddle.

You looked at the floor stunned. You didn’t move you just stood still. Billy went from supporting you from the side to standing in front of you and holding your arms. You felt weak. Was this finally it? Was your baby coming? Were you even ready?

Bri: “Y/n Are you okay?” She was now standing up. She walked over to you and held her hand on your lower back.

You were frozen. Not knowing what to do. “I think my water just broke.”

Everything went into slow motion. You looked at the two of them and they looked at each other. They looked terrified, yet you were the one that was going to be the one pushing the baby out. Immediately after you said your water broke, Billy and Bri were running around the house trying to get everything for the hospital. Billy was grabbing and preparing the baby bag. You all thought you still had time so nothing was ready. Billy grabbed the baby bag and started to put stuff into it.

Billy: “Okay diapers, blanket, paci, baby hat, a teddy bear, outfit…. Shit! What is she going to wear home?” He looked around the baby’s nursery and spotted an outfit laid neatly in the crib. “PERFECT!” He grabbed the little pink onesie that had little flowers and ducks printed all over and shoved it into the bag. He placed the bag by the door.

He looked over and you were still standing there stunned in your fluids. “Y/n/n, Would you like me to take you to the restroom to like sit on the toilet so you're not leaking your baby juice everywhere?” His breath was baited.

You stuck your hand out to him and Bri came over, “Shut up, Billy! Just get everything please, I will help y/n!”

He threw his hands up and continued to get the bags ready. He grabbed his bag and threw 2 days worth of clothes for him and Bri, toothbrushes, deodorants and toothpaste. For your bag he packed some of your pads from the freezer that you and Bri had made, your belly wrap, 2 pairs of comfy clothes, toothbrush, camera, chargers, deodorant, and some shower supplies. After getting the bags ready he scooped them all up and brought them into your Jeep. Next was the carseat.

Billy ran into the garage and tore the box apart that the carseat was in. He took all the parts and instructions and went to your car. He started to install the carseat, following the instructions, “Okay, anchor the base, got it.” He threaded the seat belt through the belt path and buckled it. He shook it around a little to make sure it was sturdy. “We don’t need baby girl getting thrown around back here.” He locked the seat belt.

He continued to read the instructions, “Make sure the incline of the carseat is at the right recline angle… what?” He tried over and over again to put the seat into the base. There were different reclining levels. “How the fuck do you do this shit?” He said out of pure panic trying to get the baby’s carseat into your car. “SHIT! What the hell! Are these instructions even English!? WHAT RECLINE SETTING IS FOR NEWBORN BABIES?” He kept trying each of the reclining levels, “FUCK THIS. SHE AIN’T COMING HOME RIGHT NOW.” He threw the car seat into the back seat and left it.

Bri was helping you change into some new clothes and then she went to go clean up the fluids on the floor from you. You just sat on your bed patiently rubbing your belly. This was the calm before the storm. You were so nervous to give birth, but for a moment you felt at ease. As if you were on a cloud.

You to your baby: “Alright baby, it's me and you now. Momma is finally gonna get to see you. I can’t wait to meet you. I love you so much already, baby. You are already loved so much by me, your Auntie Bri and your Uncle Billy. You are our little princess baby. I can’t wait to spoil you, forever.”

Bri came and knocked on the door way and smiling. “You ready for this?”

You looked up and pressed your lips together and smiled “As ready as I’ll ever be.” You started to stand and she came in and took your hand.

2 hours later and you had your precious little Leia Rey in your arms. You cried when you looked at her. She was perfect. She already had a big smile on her face when she was first put into your arms. Bri was laid over the rail of the bed and looked at her niece in awe with tears in her eyes. Billy doing the same with her. She had her little hand wrapped around his finger. All you wanted to do was smother her with everything you had. Everyone was right, you don’t know what true love is until you hold your baby in your arms. You just kept giving her kisses and smelling her baby breath. When Bri and Billy were asleep you had a small private moment with your little love.

You to your daughter: “My little Leia Rey, I’ve waited so long to meet you. I was so scared, but now that you’re here I’m terrified. But I promise I will always put you first, protect you, love you and care for you as long as I live. You are my everything and all. You are my heart outside my body. My mini me, my little babe. I love you so much already. I can’t wait to see you grow up and flourish. I promise to always chose and do what is best for you. I will do anything for you forever. It’s you and me now baby girl. You and me, forever.” She opened her eyes slightly and looked up at you. You saw her little green eyes for the first time and you held her close and cried. “I already know you are going to use those against me.” You laughed slightly as you cried. You brought her close to you and kissed her nose, “I love you, Leia Rey. Forever.”

Present

You smiled remembering the day she was born. Watching her grow into who she is now. The loving, happy, energetic, independent, smart little girl she has become. She’s perfect. You were snapped out of your memory when your phone buzzed. A text from Penny.

P: I will be over around 1130 if that’s okay? :)

Y: That’s perfect! See you soon! ;)

You turned off the water to the sink. “Sweetheart, Penny is going to come over in a little bit. Why don’t you go change and I’ll do your hair?”

Leia: “Okay momma!” She gave you her plate, grabbed her toys and went to her room to change.

You finished cleaning up the dishes and went to go do Leia’s hair. After you went to your room to clean up before Penny came over. After you showered and brushed your teeth, you threw on a Hard Deck over sized t-shirt and some high waisted loose fitted mom jeans with a belt. Before you knew it, there was a knock at your door. You opened it to see Penny standing with gifts. Leia came running to greet Penny.

Penny leaned into your hug, “You looked really cute with that shirt, y/n.” She gave you a wink and chuckled.

You looked down at your Hard Deck shirt and threw your head back, “Well, I wanted to show my support for your bar.” You laughed.

Penny sat down the gifts on the floor of the living area near the couches. You both sat and watched as Leia opened her gifts. You and Penny had small conversation while Leia ripped her gifts open.

Penny leaned over to you. “I’m off the day after tomorrow why don’t you, Bri and Leia come to the beach to hang out? Have a day to relax after a well thrown party?” She smiled at you.

You nodded and called over to Leia, “Baby, do you want to go to the beach in a couple of days to hang out with Penny?”

Her eyes widened, “YES MOMMA!”

I think after this post of reader msking Konig flustered, they know use it to get him even more by acting kind and catches Konig of guard.

Like Konig would make a nasty comment and reader would look at him with doe eyes and gently embracing him and give him compliments instead making him frozen in place but before he could react they gently lift his mask to kiss him before leaving for work.They will do it for small parts as well. Out of the blue holding their hand, gently touching him on his arm or knee when they talk about something, making his coffee etc.

Meanwhile Konig is ???? Because of their kindness thinks they want something from him and one day they ask them if they want something from him and reader is like "hmm oh yeah maybe i do" *points their cheek implying a kiss* and Konig leans to kiss them and reader looking happy goes "thanks you have made my day* and leaves leaving him very confused and red faced like he has a high school crush.

You can’t just give me big emotional paragraphs like this 😭😭 mean König is just a bb, he just needs to be wrapped in a blanket and cuddled 💕

I definitely want to write a full chapter for the big meanie so I can expand on him and newbie meeting and how they round off each others edges 🥹

I can imagine at first though that newbie takes a shine to him, just like he does them for all the opposite reasons. They like that he’s huge, and that he’s capable and deadly smart, they like that he’s quiet most of the time rather than lording his status over people. He’s interesting and he’s mysterious, newbie can’t help but he drawn to him. In the beginning they’d try to play off that they were going to him for favours, small things just to get a reason to talk to him, even if he would put them down, they’d still keep coming back. Though as their relationship progresses newbie wouldn’t need to keep asking for favours because they don’t need excuses anymore.

König would be suspicious, because when the relationship seemed more transactional to him he was comfortable. An even trade is an even trad. He wasn’t someone that anyone wanted to just be with without any other motive, surely? So as Newbie was sweet to him, when they brought him coffee on long nights that he’d need to stay on watch, when they’d give him kisses in any places that they could get away with exposing his skin, and when they sought him out of his own volition even on his most difficult and angry days, he’d start questioning everything. Is it his assumption about newbie that’s wrong or is it that newbie is just using him to try and get ahead? Hard to assume the latter when they say such sweet things to him…hard to contend with the former because no one had ever shown that much care for him before 😭
