Not too terrible for a phone photo!
Us here in NYC got close to 90% totality.

I'm a changeling and they look different than what the show portrayed. It makes me feel insecure sometimes.

This life is quite boring. The most 'adventure' I get is nothing compared to the way it used to be. However, I'm kind of more tame in this life, and if I start seeking things to do for pure thrill factor, I might just be a 'wild child' again. Thank god I have art and writing as an outlet of some sort. Society won't let me be that wild child anyway.

"Hwat in the world?"
-Draconic Hank Hill
Early April Fools?
An amusing portrait. Not overly detailed but enough to my liking.
Credit to 01laserfire01 for the funny concept of a dragon-Hank.
Character is from the King of the Hill TV series.

Found this in my yard.
It's a fenced in yard, so either a cat dropped it, or the crows dropped it (it's very lightweight). I would bet on the crows since Munin *has* dropped off things in the yard before on purpose---corvids do give things to people they seem like (aka the food-bringer lol)..
As many stray cats that we have here, the anatomy is not feline (the scapula is far too long and not wide enough). I have a guess given it's size (almost as big as my hand), but I'll study it a little more.
I don't normally keep physical bones, but I do like them for anatomical references for my art, so I may keep it for a time.

I just dug through my folder and found Issuhiro Lore/stories dating 2013! Handwritten notes and stories because those were high school days back then.
I am definitely keeping the papers, even if I need to update the material. It's like digging up an old sketchbook, but much more detailed (and imo, fun)!

Instead of an Issuhirian avian, Smeal has magically turned into a raven (although he looks much more crow-ish; perhaps that is my bias)! I don't think he'd have any issue adjusting to his newly acquired form~
This was done with regular and fine point sharpie. I haven't touched my actual India ink pens in a bit, but sharpie works wonderful as well.

Not worth the stress flip-flopping around. Social media is a vapid game of numbers period the end. Tried it once, didn’t work. You know what will work? Never trying it again.
Vent over. If something causes this stress it’s easier to delete it from your life if you can.

Typing a lot concerning the zhuard essay (which at 80 pages and 18,000 words, I seriously need some caffeine to read it all and edit it in these times).
I am further explaining the effects of domruku and zhuards, and how it leads to the species being able to perceive others in a very specific way. And then kind of..use their energy without permission and ruin everyone in the process (thanks, domruku).
Also, I found a little tea pot deep in one of my gassware cabinets. I think it's cute! The taxi yellow color is kind of quirky to me, I'm stuck between 'I love it' and 'I hate it'.

It is nearly spring now, but it's still snowing somewhere--so I will share these, at last! It's been a long while of Al sitting on my shelf, painted, and quite literally collecting dust. This February we got some snow, and this will be the second photoshoot of this sculpt in the snow, with some color now!
The pictures: 'Allen's Snow Stroll 1-3', 'Peanut Duty for Smeal', 'Seat of the Ancients 1-2', 'In the Tanglegrowth'
It makes me proud to create something like this, but as with some things I can create, I do feel a connection...and this one makes me feel nostalgic. Al is giving a proper imposing zhuard vibe here.

I decided to do a digital glow up since I last drew this traditionally, now that I have a computer again. The sketches I do can look proper now (imo)!

*Never trust a pretty face*
The amused zhuard sneers at you.
《○》
Current title for a work in progress. I'm thinking of completing the sketch and render up to full detailing-- but probably not a full drawing. Getting individual vibes here of Valdores. She is, in very typical fashion, abstracting her physical form from human to more zhuard-ish, but keeping it there purposefully.
Might be part of the story where she Fucks shit up-- dunno yet. I didn't get that far. I *do* know it's bittersweet. Tearing apart people you knew when you were human. She's not given a choice.
---
I see this is my second time portraying her. She was definitely the one in the pioneer group the others kept an eye on- or should have. Fairly clever, but she definitely went off and did her own things in Tirnsberg while still adhering to the group--'playing both sides' as the saying goes.
