the whole guilt-tripping language in posts about important topics paired with how I'm still getting bitches in my notes talking about why it's actually good to tell "bad" people to kill themselves continues to prove to me that a lot of people have absolutely no concept of social justice or activism outside of assuming the worst of and then viciously attacking strangers on the internet

I just realized that both botw/totk zelink and alttp zelink grow crops of some kind, so now I'm imagining a rival farmers au where they fight it out over who has better produce

Both Dany and Sansa being children and yet being continuously described as beautiful and YET the only men who are explicitly "attracted" them outside of their titles are creepy fkn old men like Jorah and Petyr.........jail. hell even.

There's a mechanic in Pentiment where if you're talking to someone and gain new information about their level of education/social class the *font their dialogue is in* changes to reflect it and I'm losing my mind over it a little

I would like to know what is on your tomato sandwich, please? Are you a tomato and mayo? Some cheese? Black pepper? None of the above except tomato? Tomato with a tomato bun?
duke's mayo, thick slices of heirloom or beefsteak tomatoes, salt and black pepper on wheat bread. sometimes with cucumber if i'm feeling really fancy. the most important thing, as all tomato sandwich connoisseurs know, is you gotta use good ripe summer tomatoes fresh from a farm or garden. those sad little orange things trying to be tomatoes at the grocery store just will not cut it!!

Shoutout to my DAD for having an ongoing debate with his college friend about the logistics of Tatooine moisture farmers and how incompetent everyone in the Star Wars universe is, which has been dead for TWO FUCKING YEARS until THIS MORNING, WHEN MY DAD REMEMBERED IT EXISTED AND REPLIED WITH MORE EVIDENCE
AND THE OTHER GUY RESPONDED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY

Pia tell me Martingale didn't turn on the Wilderness Farm??? Is he doing it because he hates Alex? Or for some other reason? Because it wasn't always like that was it? The way you're incorporating gameplay this time is so lush, love when you do horror
Ooo yes the farmer totally turned on the wilderness farm! (For those who don't play Stardew Valley but are reading anyway, you can choose several different farm types when you start out the game - forest, mountain, etc. - the wilderness farm enables monsters at night on your farm. You can switch this on later as well if you want through magic that no one else has access to except for you).
It's nicely spotted as well that he obviously didn't have a wilderness farm until now, so he's definitely made the change for some reason!
I'm betting on the fact that his ex-husband Sebastian is back in town, and that in the meantime Martingale completely forgot that Alex existed and that delivery is a thing, because he's so used to his stock just magically being gone and the money magically being there the next morning, lmao.
(Also omg I love writing horror elements so much)

It pisses me off seeing farmers and normal people in Instagram have bisons or starting bison ranchers because they feel like it. When the Fort Peck Tribal Reservation has to fight tooth and nail for every bull we get and we STILL have to fight to KEEP them.

JUST MY TWO CENTS
I genuinely like pest insects. Like I get that they're bad for the development and social structure of humanity but I genuinely love them to bits and pieces. They don't even know they're being pests they're just living their life!
Capitalism is just telling you they're bad while really they're as much of an important part of the ecosystem as any tree you plant.
As long as they're not invasive (you can kill those off as long as a surviving population exists in its natural habitat in well-retained numbers). But I'm really worried about the native ones you know?
Edit: But well given how much of a pest they are we can assume they're in large numbers still so I support biological control as well. Note biological. I don't care how effective pesticide is you should find a NATIVE PREDATOR for these things.
The human-ecosystem balance is a maintainable one, just hard to ensure is all.
