Red flags (UNO REVERSE) meme || Pizza Tower
Only Pizza head was suitable for the role of a waitress… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Aaaaand I think Noisette is also strange, but the choice fell on this version.

cafe waitress Noisette and Waiter Noise
In my library tower au instead of Noisette working by herself in her cafe her boyfriend Noise works with her. Noise still annoys peppino during and after work. Most of the time when noise visits the Library he would just make some noise. When Noisette goes to the Library she would either get cook books or books about cute animals.

Is Eggashell working for Noisette in her bakery based on your lore if so how does she impact the place. Is the food any better and how much does Eggashell get paid by Noisette?
well since she uh, spoiler alert got her own bakery on the tower, she doesn't really have to work in noisette cafe, well if she did as a chef, she would try to change her food recipe a bit to make it more edible-ish and noisette would be kinda like "hey dats not how u do it >:B " its like u take someone's cat drawing and fixed them by making it a bit realistic, but i dont think eggashell is that mean to do that tho. maybe she would just be a temporary waitress instead ig also shes terrified of noisette dishes but respects them as like a passion project that was poured with love xD besties moment

Frothing the maiden
He seems a decent sort
in his mid twenties
tall’ish, plain faced & smiley
flirting poorly with the waitress
I listen in
while I wait for my noisette
she suggests ‘the usual’
which seems to tickle him
to be recognized
in this busy quasi anonymous train station
maybe in his life
& she is no pin up girl
but a decent woman in demeanor
probably somewhere her job description
calls her a barista
never an object of erotic joy
yet here the pleasure flows
if faltering between them
& tired as I am in traveling
silently I urge him
& her
to bridge the word divide between them
if Julius has to have a slave to whisper
you are only a man
then there needs be a whisperer here
in the Cyrano style
gentle hints on how to cross that gap
between them
but no
they fade to soft embarrassed glances
the wordlessness
that is impotence in life
he saunters away with his ‘usual’
to sit against the window
all awkward legs & looks
while she steams my noisette
aware that I have been listening
yet not caring of my opinion
I am another customer of no preferences
no banter to ease her day
I smile & thank her
while he watches her quietly
summoning the will
to try to woo her again

just some tips for paris:
say “bonjour” before interacting with another human, it’ll make them 200% more patient with your bad french or immediate switch to english
say “merci, au revoir” when you’re leaving. for example after paying at a store, if you ask for help and receive it, etc.
WALK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SIDEWALK, AISLES IN STORES
USE THE METRO. it may seem intimidating and isn’t always clean, but it’s very easy to use and typically very efficient (4-6 minute intervals). plus there’s always a map to consult and some cool street music echoing in the tunnels. the metro employees are tired and not super happy to work with lost tourists but use the “bonjour” trick and they’re bound to be nicer.
if you are on an escalator at a metro stop and you want to stand stationary you need to stay to the right and make room for people to walk past on the left side
pay attention to traffic signs. unless the road is 80% clear do not cross before the pedestrian sign turns green unless you want to get killed by a motorcycle or yelled at by a policeman (esp in touristy areas). pedestrians do not have the right of way here so cars will not often stop to let you by.
if you want to buy a weeklong metro pass your best bet is to buy it on a monday, because no matter what day of the week you purchase the pass, it will expire on sunday. you’re better off buying tickets, plus it’s just easier.
“bonjour, un café, s’il vous plaît”, while the easiest way to order at a café is NOT the way to order a coffee if you are expecting to receive a big ole cup of joe. you will be awarded a hardcore espresso. a “café allongé (ah-lawn-zhay)” is basically a diluted espresso and typically bigger than the tiny cup of espresso. “une noisette (nwah-zett)” is espresso with a drop of milk. “filtré (feel-tray)” or “café américain” is filtered coffee and the closest thing you’ll get to american coffee, although it will still be quite a small cup. (my fav) a “café viennois (vee-en-wah)” which is i think a café allongé with a lot of whipped cream
please pick up a map or ask someone for help if you need it. you do NOT want to get lost in these never ending, winding cobblestone streets.
don’t leave tips or tell anyone to “keep the change”. it confuses the frenchies. as an american i always feel bad not leaving a tip but it is never expected (although sometimes restaurant workers know americans are used to leaving tips and will work extra hard to get you to tip)
at a café you just sit down, wait for someone to come take your order, have your meal, and your best bet is to go inside to pay. it isn’t worth it to try and flag down your busy waiter/waitress and typically they won’t come back to your table 5 minutes after dropping off your food to ask if everything’s all right.
i have more but these are my discoveries after 6 months in 2015 and 3 weeks in 2017
