This is quite a shocking turn of events, folks! After taking a wrong turn on their way from the store, Lungo, Doppio and Vanilla De Olla have found themselves on the wrong side of the tracks. That's right folks; The Lower-East Side of Rooibos City!

As the De Olla Siblings try and find a way to get back to their big brother Cafe, a faint smell of toothpaste suddenly fills the air. Before anyone can even comment on the odd smell, the siblings drop down on the ground, their consciousnesses fading away.

When they wake, they find themselves in a decrepit dentist office, where they become the unfortunate guests of the ever menacing Paul E. Whyte and his assistant Brighton!

What are the nationalities of all the known characters?

De Olla Family - Mexicans 🇲🇽 They born in Villa Calavera (a fictional town located in Sinaloa (state of Mexico). When Café took the custody of his siblings, they moved to Rooibos City (A fictional City in California). Café is the one who has a very thick mexican accent. Lungo, Doppio and Vanilla doesn't have a notable accent. They speak spanish to each other when they are at home.

Willy Cream (and his Family)- British 🇬🇧

They come from Port Sugar, a fictional town located in England. They moved to Rooibos City because "Father's business" but mainly for Willy's sake (homophobia abuse and violence)

Pinzell- Argentine/italian 🇦🇷🇮🇹

Pinzell born in Città Da Vinci , located in Italy. Their Father is Argentinian and Their Mother was Italian. After their Mother passed away, Pinzell's Father took them to live to Rooibos City when they were 9 years old. Pinzell only speak spanish when they are to mad, with an Argentinian accent.

Macchiato Forte and Crema Vanigliata - 🇮🇹 Italians.

Macchiato's Parents are italians but he born somewhere in New Jersey. After a big fight with his Father, Macchiato escaped to Rooibos City when he was a young adult.

Crema born in Milan, Italy. When she was a toddler , she moved to Villa Calavera and she was abandoned in an Orphanage. She was Café's childhood friend, later his Lover. After some time later she moved to Rooibos City looking for a better life (looking for Café)

De Lait Family (Latte and her family, including Madame Vienna)- French 🇫🇷

Latte along with her Siblings born in Tea Springs (a small village 3 hours far from Rooibos City) Her Family come from France. They do speak French but Latte is used more to speak english.

The light of morning creeps across soft downy covers, igniting a soft auburn glow in the lump of brown hair sprawled across the pillows. The soft slide of sheets, a hand peeking out from a cocoon of covers to card it's fingers through tangled curls.

"Arthur, it's morning."

The lump in bed shifts and sighs, head turning to press further into the pillows before falling still again. 

"Arthur." The hand petting through his hair stops. "Wake up."

A muffled groan, then Arthur Lester, finally somewhat cognizant of the world, peeks his head out from the covers. His eyes blink a few times before focusing on the partially drawn curtains across the room, tracing the golden edges of sunlight cutting across their surface.

They glance over to the chair near the bedrooms door. "You forgot to fold your shirt."

A louder groan this time, and both hands move to push Arthur up from the bed, turning to sit with his legs over the edge. His right hand moves up to scrub across his face and an irritated grumble echoes through his head.

"Your slippers are to your right- a little bit further. There."

Arthur tiredly pushes himself up to stand, shuffling the memorized path to the doorway as his face scrunches up into a yawn. He reaches out to press his palm against the door frame, turning -"Left."- towards the kitchen and dragging his fingers along the wall as he walks.

John makes a low noise, buzzing pleasantly against Arthur's groggy thoughts, as he scans the far wall of the kitchen. "Tea?"

"Please" Arthur sighs.

"Okay. The counters a few steps ahead of you, you'll want to- yes, reach up a little higher and to the left. Wai-" John's interrupted by the thunk of wood as the door hits Arthur's temple. Arthur releases the knob to the cabinet, hissing in pain as he cradles the side of his head with his palm.

"Arthur, the-" "Yes, I know."

("You would think-" John piped up, around the third week into this odd little domestic life they'd fought and cried and bled for. "-that after banging that cabinet door into your head for the fifth time, you would have learned to dodge it by now."

An irritated huff through his nose, more amused than Arthur had wanted it to sound. "And it's just coincidence that you forget to warn me earlier each time I do.")

John's hand reaches up to push the door the rest of the way open now that Arthur's inadvertently stepped out of smacking range, and starts rifling through the tins of tea lining the shelf.

"Rooibos." It's more statement than question, and Arthur hums distractedly in response. They sink comfortably into routine, Arthur's hand held open to receive the kettle John passes to him, wrapping around it's worn grip. The clink of porcelain pushed to the side, the dry slide and thump of the drawer as John retrieves a spoon, then "The sink." Arthur sidesteps until he hears John's "Stop" and angles the kettle down under the faucet.

"A little lower. Good, hold it steady." A tap as John places the mug to the side, then the hiss of water rushing out of the faucet.

After a few moments, John twists the handle back to off and helps guide the kettle out of the sink. Arthur turns, walking the few well-versed steps to the stove.

"Right here?" He asks John, kettle held a few inches above the burner. "Yes, Arthur. Pull your hand back." A low hiss, then snap as the burner is lit. 

John presses the bottom of the tea tin into Arthur's palm, a wordless request. They carefully pop the container open, and John scoops a few spoonfuls of tea leaves into the water before sealing the tin back up. A wordless hum of satisfaction from John, then Arthur turns to move towards the kitchens small window looking out to the city.

There's no need for any prompting from Arthur.

"It's a beautiful morning. The sun cuts stripes of light across the city, wreathing the few cars and pedestrians in a golden glow. It's bright enough to reflect off the streets, as if the buildings are separated by a stream of grey and gold water rather than pavement. Light reflects off the windows of the buildings across from us, shining like veins of iridescent crystal sealed within pillars of stone."

"It sounds lovely." Arthur murmurs.

John is silent for a moment, as if committing the moment to memory. "It is."

A comfortable stillness falls over them as John gazes out onto the street, occasionally breaking Arthur out of his half-asleep haze to describe a suited man rushing past shop windows or groups of harried students passing through the libraries entryway on the street corner. The quiet rumble of boiling water rouses Arthur's figure back into movement, padding back to the abandoned mug.

"In the drawer, on your right."

Arthur pulls it open to retrieve the well-used strainer basket as John uses his left hand to grab the honey from it's home in the back of another cabinet. Everything's set up once the rumbling heat shoots up into the whistle of boiling tea; the strainer is placed over the mouth of the mug and the jar of honey waiting to the side. Arthur moves over to the stove and reaches for one of the pot holders as John turns off the burner. He passes the cloth square to John's hand and trails his fingers along the counter as he walks back to the mug, trusting John to keep the kettle level as they move.

(The first time they'd done this, after John had insisted to be the one to pour Arthur his cup, he'd gone ahead and burnt his hand on the kettle in his rush to prove his skill in choosing the perfect tea. After a few curses and a quick trip to the sink, Arthur suggested the pot holder and they hadn't gone without one since.)

"Move the mug a bit further left. There." The burble of pouring water, then the soft thump of the kettle being set down. The metallic ring of a spoon stirring honey into tea, then quiet again.

"To the table?" Arthur asks.

"Yes." John grabs the mug, carrying it with them as Arthur walks them to the small table by the corner. He directs Arthur into the chair there, the one they had found while perusing the second hand store Arthur had perked up at the description of.

John sets the mug down and carefully pulls it closer towards Arthur's chest, pressing the side of it into Arthur's waiting palm. Arthur cradles his hand around the mug to leech off of it's heat, leaning forwards to hover over it, to feel the steam warm his cheeks.

His fingers move to brush over the top of John's. Neither of them pull away.

Matcha and her family went to go spend some time with her grandparents, Rooibos and Hibisca Tea. They run Tea Farm out in Henford-on-Bagley.

They've been running the farm since Matcha was a little girl. They were having a great time and ate a lot of food Hibisca and Rooibos grew right on the farm. But, Matcha could tell something was going on her grandmother's mind.

She pulled her aside later that evening.

Matcha: Hey grandma, something going on? What's on your mind?

Hibisca: Oh nothing, don't worry about us! Just thinking about life. Seeing all y'all here really brought my spirits up!

Matcha: And it's so good to be here! I'm sorry we haven't visited that often -

Super Strength: Like Cafe`, Soya has inhuman strength and can lift objects 100 times her size and up to 1000 times her weight with little to no effort. When angered, she loses control of her strength.

Hard/Unbreakable Body: Soya's skin/body can harden to the point where almost nothing can penetrate her, as well as it can protect her from harm. Although, she can also combine it with her strength, she’s not capable of using and mastering both at the same time yet due to her young age.

Interesting Facts:

Despite her short fuse, Soya forgives very easily when wronged.

She likes to play with dolls, but creepy ones or ones that are broken. And Soya has a stuffed spider named Poison. This was a gift from Vienna to help…keep an eye on her.

Since she’s still young, she doesn’t know how to hold back with her strength and often breaks things.

When Soya was barely one, she tried to eat Chato until Cafe stopped her. And still thinks about eating him from time to time.

Soya is a Daddy’s Girl. And prefers to hang with her uncles (especially her Tìo Lungo) over her female family members.

Soya can speak Spanish pretty well, but likes to use it to curse.

Interesting Facts:

Romano is very intelligent for his age and is actually in the same grade as Soya due to skipping grades.

As opposed to his mother Latte’s ADHD, Romano has OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder). He’s a neat freak, pays too much attention to even the tiniest detail, and has anxiety attacks when something isn’t in perfect order, and often has paranoia. Due to this, he barely has any friends and is often bullied.

Romano loathes being read little kid books and often requests to go to the library so he can get ‘real literature’. If Café is too tired, Romano goes to Vanilla or Doppio to read to him.

Romano Has Nyctophobia (fear of the dark) and has a bright nigh-light. He’ll often crawl into bed with his parents or Vanilla whenever he has a nightmare. Lungo, Doppio, and Soya just push him out.

He’d like to be a writer when he grows up or work in a book store.

Romano loves to eat different seafood dishes, sushi is his favorite.

He admires his father’s strength and wishes he was as macho as he is.
