Thinking ab when I said Walter loved Jesse more than he ever loved Skyler or his kids bc of how he could use Jesse as a fount of narcissistic supply and project all of his power and provider fantasies onto him and some of y’all were like well that’s not real love and you’re right!! But you know what?? That’s the tragedy of it all. Bc that was all of the love Walter had in his body the only kind of love he was capable of, or maybe the only kind of love he allowed himself. Love that amounted to a negative, love that amounted to less than nothing. He loved him as well as he could and it wasn’t enough, and it was too much, and it wasn’t real love but also it was the closest thing to love Walter had ever felt and Jesse had ever received. He was his son he was his student he was his wife and his mistress he was someone who knew the monster behind the man and still loved him he was everything Walter told himself he could love if he could love at all
every time aaron paul opens his mouth to talk about walt and jesse it ends up being some of the gayest shit i have ever heard i hate him his goals are beyond our understanding
It is interesting that Jesse's first reaction to seeing Walt in his underwear is to whip out his video camera and take a bunch of close up shots of his ass
