I can't wait to see this in the official release, but damn... The Emperor is Not Happy. It really reminds me of Isagi's DAMN IT panel from chapter 230—probably on purpose. Kaiser is Michael's ideal after all... but is the novice beginning to surpass the star?

Not pictured in the leaks: Kunigami or Yukimiya's reactions. Hmm... We do get wonderful reaction shots of the two coaches and Ness, as well as a disappointed Ubers. Also no sign of Barou—they're saving that confrontation for next week.

We get some interesting panels of Hiori too. Waiting on the fan translation, but to me it seems like he's going to put off quitting... at least while he's motivated to pursue goals the way he did with Isagi this match.

But for me, the key excitement came towards the end of the leaks. Because we didn't get just a glimpse of what's going on beyond the Ubers match...

I was not expecting to get this level of detail on our favourite edgy emo. Rin is absolutely dominating PXG by the looks of it. Isagi can't rest on his laurels yet.

I was also not expecting our princess to be the sole scorer of this match! On the one hand: COME THROUGH MY STRAWBERRY HAIRED SON! ❤️❤️❤️ I'M SO PROUD OF YOU! I wish they showed more of Chigiri this chapter... but at least they gave us chapter 213.

But still, damn Manshine... get it together.

It could be years until we get the full story behind this match—but Nagi seems to be struggling just as chapter 207 foreshadowed. It's hard to believe he couldn't motivate himself against Rin, who's another established rival of his. Ah well. Maybe he'll redeem himself against Ubers and Barou?

Overall, cracking chapter... and I haven't actually read a word of it yet!

Faded Love: Part Two

Pairing: Elvis & female!reader

Summary: After finding out about Elvis infidelity, you decide to have one final decision before you walk out the door for good.

Author's Notes: I was surprised at the response that I got from everyone on part one. I gave myself a number. That number was surpassed. With the number surpassed, you get part two!

Elvis dresses as fast as he can to get to you.

"Y/N!!!" Elvis yells for you.

But you are well gone out of the house. Far away from his grasp. Your car is still in the driveway as Elvis runs outside. He places his hands on his head and falls to his knees in defeat.

"What have I done?" He thinks to himself.

How could he push you away from him? When all he wanted was to hold you in his arms.

As he kneels in the grass, beside himself, he pictures you walking to him on your wedding day. You were covered by your shear veil, but he could see you fully through transparency of it. The shining light in your bright eyes. The smile on your face as you walked toward him. You were a vision. A tear escaped his eye as you approached him at the altar. Without another thought, you wiped the stray tear away from his cheek with your thumb.

"It's okay, Elvis. I'm here. I'll always be here. I love you," you whispered to him.

"Forever. I love you, Y/N," Elvis says.

The look on your face was so beautiful and pleasant that day. Far better than that look of anger and disgust you gave him today. Why did he hurt you? You've been everything for him. Lover. Friend. Maid. Cook. Even though there were maids and cooks to do that for the household. You were a confidant and his soulmate.

You listened to him when others didn't. Being spiritual, you understood his search for God in a world ready to swallow Elvis whole. He didn't want to gain the world and lose his soul to it, yet it seemed he lost you along the way. He wanted more instead of realizing he was blessed with everything in front of him. He was greedy.

Elvis raises from the ground, wiping the tears from his face. He runs down to the gate to meet Uncle Verster.

"Y/N? Where did she go?" Elvis asks.

"She asked me to open the gate, and she ran out. Then she jumped in a blue pickup," Uncle Verster said.

"A blue pickup truck???"

Elvis runs back up to the house. How could you jump into a pickup truck?! It's not safe for you to hitchhike, especially when you're married to Elvis Presley.

As soon as he gets in the house, Elvis starts to call everyone he knows to see if they have seen you. He must find you. He can't lose you.

The first number he dials is your sister's, Sharon. The phone rings a few times until finally...

"Hello?"

"Sharon? It's Elvis. Y/N ran away. I don't know where she is. Uncle Verster said she jumped into a blue pickup."

"Why would she run away? Elvis, you're not making any sense," Sharon said.

"I..." Elvis pauses. He knows he needs to tell the truth about the situation, but he doesn't want to say everything.

"Sharon... I fucked up. Everything. I don't know if she'll ever forgive me for what I've done. If she stops by your house, call me. Please. I need her."

"Of course, Elvis. I'll keep my eye out for her."

"Please, Sharon. Please," he begs.

"Yes. Of course," Sharon says, hanging up the phone.

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

"Very well played, sister," Y/N say, applauding her.

"Y/N, he sounded really hurt over the phone. Maybe you should let him know where you are. He seemed worried," Sharon confessed.

"Sharon, no!" You sternly shout. "His ego is the only thing that shattered. He made his decision when he decided not to come with me and go galavanting with that girl! He needs to know how to live without me because..."

"What? Y/N, what are you going to do?"

...

For the next five hours, Elvis calls his friends at the local police department. They tell him he can't put out a missing person's report because you haven't been missing for twenty-four hours yet. There's nothing for him to truly worry about, but the chief of police said his men would be on the lookout.

In the meantime, Elvis has his men to scout around Memphis to look for you. They travel all over Memphis, but somehow they miss you at every turn. He calls your parents, and they haven't heard from you either.

Elvis feels the tension around and begins to bite his fingernails. It's an old habit he gave up on, yet it seems he picked it back up. When he runs out of nails to bite, he begins to smoke his cigarillos.

He paces the floor as he thinks of what to do next. He wants to get in his car to get searching for you himself, but he fears leaving the house that you'll call him to come and retrieve you. He contemplates all that he's done wrong to you in the last month. He brought this on himself by deliberately pushing you away. He thought you'd always be there to love him, but you tired of him hurting you.

"Baby, if you come back, I'll never ever fuck up again. I swear. I'm so sorry," he thinks to him.

He's sorry. Why couldn't he admit he was sorry to you. The words were on the tip of his tongue. They were in his heart. He tried to apologize, but his pride got in the way.

The guys come back to the house by dark. There's no trace of you. You have disappeared from sight. This worries Elvis more than before. He refuses to give up like this. Where on earth could you be?

He knows there will be no sleep tonight, yet his cooks, Ms. Nancy and Ms. Mary, beg him to eat and rest. He refuses to do either until you are in his arms again. Instead of resting, Elvis spends the night plotting to find you.

He calls his jeweler to come to Graceland. He picks out a necklace for you with your birthstone pendant. Elvis has some making up to do. He has to show you he needs you home.

The next day, Graceland buzzes with people. Police and law enforcement have been scouting the streets in search of you. Elvis has a fleet ready to return his queen back to him. He plans on putting your picture on the news if you aren't home in the next twenty-four hours.

Elvis paces the floor of the living room. He waits for the phone to ring. He waits for any kind of update about you. The phone rings, and Elvis rushes over to answer it.

"Hello?" He answers.

"Stop looking for me."

Elvis' heart drops at the sound of your voice. Even though you are angry with him, he finds comfort in your voice.

"Y/N, baby," Elvis says. "It's so good to hear your voice."

"Call off your men, Elvis. Please. I'm not lost."

"Then come home."

"No. I'm not going anywhere near you."

"Come home, and I'll call off the search. Or I could come pick you up if you tell me where you are."

"Elvis, no. I need space. My heart needs a break. A lot has been said and done, and promises have been broken."

"I need you, baby," Elvis whispers to you like a gentle song. "I-I love you the mostest, babe."

"Elvis... call off your search. I'm well. I'm not in harm's way. Give me some time. Please," you ask him as you hang up the phone.

The anniversary of my brother's death is coming up, and 3 years later I'm shocked at how the grief can creep up and swallow me still. If I think about him more than in passing I still weep. I'm still overwhelmed by the absence of his belly laugh and mischievous grin. I still feel rage creep up when I think about how unfair it all is; his 3 young children were too small to have personal memories of him, and must subsist on what we show and tell them. His beloved wife only got 5 years with him total - some people get 60. Our view into God's plan is so narrow, I know, I really do, but still, why him?

CJ was something else. A real gen-u-ine cowboy. Tough hands, crinkly eyes, and an ever present grin. Quite the dancer. A heck of a card player. An even better choir singer. He was never short on jokes or belly laughs. The best darn bow hunting partner I'll ever have. And gosh he loved his wife; the sun rose and set on her from the moment they memorably met (she slapped his rear end on a dare during a rodeo and told him to quote "giddy up cowboy"; they were wed 18 months later). He was an incredibly doting father who insisted on doing the late night feedings because work kept him so busy in the daytime. And most of all he was a true Christian who shared God's Word with most anyone who would listen and loved his neighbors.

Every year I approach being older than he ever was. 24 years and 18 days, 6 hours and 32 minutes (I'm sure Mama knows the seconds.) It's unnatural to grow older than your big brother, and each of us younger siblings marches toward it; my sister surpassed him recently and fell into hysterics once she realized. The clock now looms over me like the shadow of death itself.

It was a farm accident. A freak thing. Everyone tried their best to save him; first his wife, then the neighbors, then local EMTs, a flight nurse and a paramedic, countless nurses and doctors and specialists from The Big City. They all wept with us as he took his final breaths, surrounded by more people than the hospital was technically supposed to let in. It took him an excruciatingly long time to pass on once support was pulled, and his heart only finally slowed and stopped when his wife assured him "I've got this CJ, don't worry, I've got the kids and the cows, you go on home now".

I can't even type that without shaking.

I hardly knew her before they wed, and not much more before he passed away. She became much more than the mother of my nieces in the wake of his death; she's well and truly one of the strongest people I know, and a true sister to me. I'll never be able to thank her enough for giving him peace enough to let go in his final moments. She's not much of a dancer or a card player, and she can't so much as hit the side of a broad barn with a bow, but I like singing with her in church, and she's helping me learn to quilt now.

I read somewhere that grief is just love with no place to go. So tonight as my throat aches with thoughts of CJ, I'll pour out some of this love. Into my dogs, my horses, my plants, my nieces, my sister-in-law, my sister-in-law's new boyfriend, and God, who I know is in control and has a Plan, who has overcome the grave, and whose will I submit to even if at this moment it's painful. Because I know He keeps His promises.

"I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die."

But I was curious why you picked Lan Xichen's xiao (flute) Liebing instead of his sword Shouyue (朔月 shuòyuè - new moon) ?

The reason is quite simple - I had a rough idea about personifications of most main characters' weapons/intsruments and wanted to draw them all, but in the end finished only the girls I like the most (whom I also ship hard) 😅

While I think Shouyue is a nice guy and Baxia's most likely only true friend, I have a hard time seeng them as a couple. I know it might sound weird, since for me they feel like properly fleshed out characters with their own stories and etc, and you know nothing about them, since I never really spoke about it OTL but I'll try to put it shortly, just for some extra info.

I think Baxia sees all other swords as either enemies or rivals whom she must surpass and beat in a fair fight at least once, even if they're her allies. Every time she sees another sword, her initial instinct is to fight until she beats them, and when she does, she immediately loses a great chunk of interest in them.

So here lies the dilemma: she can't love someone who has no power over her, while her pride also cannot bear anyone overpowering her.

With musical instrument it's an entirely different matter. Baxia respects them of course, but she doesn't really see them as weapons and as a result, her rivals or worthy opponents. They were not made for fighting, even if their skills can be useful in it. So she always acted somewhat indulgent and even dismissive towards them, until meeting Liebing. She was the first one to make such a weird effect on Baxia. How could such a delicate and gentle girl be also so firm and fearless? How could she accompany Baxia in her endless hunts without feeling like a burden? Not to mention only Liebing's singing can pull Baxia out of her murderous berserk mode, when she completely loses control over herself; only she can bring her the peace of mind Baxia hardly ever experienced before.

So while Liebing has that strange power over her, which Baxia can't explain in any way familiar to her, somehow she doesn't feel angered by it. More like intrigued and maybe even willing to put her endless warfare away - only for a couple of minutes, just enough to hear one more song of Liebing.

Out of nowhere I know but you are the only person that likes Michael as much as I do so yeah, bare with me please.

At this point I'm expecting that Michael is a pathetic excuse of a man, like, he is even worse than Leviathan at times. That or he is the most toxic person to be alive, even surpassing Belphegor and Barbatos (characters that I believe are the most toxic out of the bunch), there's no in between, I will consider myself disappointed if he isn't either of them.

(Love your writing btw, you opened my eyes to so many opportunities for not just new headcanons but also new ocs you don't even understand. Also, hope you don't mind the little letters.)

I'm not sure pathetic is the word I'd use to describe the softer side of Michael I lean on. He's more like...hm, almost like an adult version of Luke? Before he went to the Devildom and learned to be more tolerant/open-minded, anyway. I think he can be bright and bubbly and carefree (sometimes not taking things seriously when he should) and he can also be a bit stubborn and selfish and inflexible when it comes to his own moral compass. I personally see him getting even worse after the brothers fall. Lucifer's not there to help guide him towards better choices and there's not many angels willing to stand up against his nonsense anymore. The ones that try end up punished for it because even if he doubts his decisions, he can't tolerate the others doubting him too.

That being said, I lowkey prefer writing him being on the twisted end of the spectrum. All that power, the freedom to follow his own selfish whims and the authority to ensure the other angels obey him (or suffer the consequences if they don't).

I have two or three angel OCs in development atm because I need more characters to play Michael off of in the Celestial Realm that aren't just Simeon and Raphael (as fun as that is). Depending on the direction nb! takes Michael in, I might just keep his character as an OC too. I like him too much the way I currently write him. lol

But Fukumura-san, who had taken over as the new leader in this time, was really strong and cool, Fukumura-san said it herself during the leader announcement, and its something I've said many times, I never thought even for a moment, "what an unreliable leader"!! I'm too proud about this!!

This Fukumura-san, 9 years have passed since Yokohama Arena,

With a lotttttt of confidence, What is being shown with Morning Musume, In any case!! I'm really happy!!

Its the first time for all of us to experience YokoAri 2days but,

I will start by saying that 2023 was a pivotal writing year for me because it marked the start of sharing my writing online and starting this blog! With all of that came of course, the formation of my own little community 🥺 I've made so many lovely friends along the way, fallen in love with their characters and stories, and I just feel so privileged and honored to experience the worlds they've created. I'm so glad I took the plunge and met all of you, even if it was really scary at first! Thank you all for being so welcoming, kind, supportive, and for making space in your hearts and days for my silly little characters and their stories 💙 That said, lets take a look at some of my writing highlights from this past year! I limited my choices to snippets I'd posted since it felt weird to make a new post and be like that one! I like that one! lol Appropriate content warnings have been listed on that post as, unsurprisingly, it contains body horror who could have guessed lol. It's between AASOAF 3's WIP Intro and, surprisingly, Lexlar's character intro lol. He would be so proud and flattered that he's more popular than his other Lizardfolk counterparts!

Now I know this wasn't all done in this year but it felt right to put in here since I'm getting closer and closer to finishing the canon telling of AASOAF with each day that passes so I can't help but look back to where it all started. These word counts include words in each version of the WIP and the dead darlings of each while excluding Fay's discovery writing (120k+), side stories, WIP adjacent work, spin-offs, and oneshots. I'm really not sure if canon AASOAF will surpass original telling but that's because the story back then was a lot of Fay and Wilkes origin story work and the tale of their romance which isn't explored in canon and also includes Mariel and Axtapor's stories. Two reasons for this, Fay and Wilkes getting together all happens before canon begins and because canon focuses primarily on Mariel and Axtapor's romance. In any case, those are some FAT numbers holy mama. Putting this post together was actually the first time I saw them side by side like that.

My Redragon Hylas (H260) Gaming Headset Review (w/ my Paper Dolls) - Part 2 (Final) [Jan 18th, 2023]

Hi! Here's Part 2 (Final) of my Redragon Hylas (H260) gaming headset (featuring my paper dolls). 🎮🎧😊

And in this part, I'm testing out my new gaming headset using my PC & my smartphone (Honor 8C).🎧➡️📱🖥️

So, without further ado, let's get started:

• Here it is, time for some audio test, and let's start with my (Windows 10) PC. As I unstrap the nylon cable, I quickly show you this awesome-looking splitter, and tugging the nylon braided numerous times to show how strong this cable is before 💪 I uncap these protectors & plug these three onto my computer. 🙂🎧➡️🖥️

• Aside from the sound quality from two earmuffs, my headset lit up the RGB lights! How cool is that!? 😃💡🎧 Even better when I turn off the lights for a true coloring lit! However, I've noticed a big bleeding light because of their cheap thin plastic. Still, looks cool though. And what better pair than my current mechanical keyboard from the same brand as my headset! 😁🎧⌨️💡

• And here are some pictures of what RGB light should look like. Unfortunately, I can't adjust nor customize my likings (namely my favorite color → 💙) with the RGB light, as it's already predetermined to subsidize the cost. Such a shame...😕

• Now, what about the sound quality? Well, according to the official manual, the Hylas (H260) uses a 50mm dynamic driver unit to improve sound quality while playing games. And no, it didn't include a surround audio feature, like other expensive gaming headsets. I've listened some music, videos from youtube & other audio softwares with my new gaming headset for 2 to 3 hours, I even compare it with my current ZNT headset to determine which is the better sound. And my thoughts about the Hylas were, fairly decent, but not great. 😕 When I listen to bass-related music, it went muffled sometimes. The same goes to vocals & voices from listening/watching Youtube videos, they're often ruining the quality. And the separation, the treble, and other important tones? Well, subpar... Nothing new on the audio table. And in terms of better sound between the Redragon Hylas & the ZNT Soundfit, surprisingly (or unsurprisingly), the ZNT Soundfit edges out over the Redragon Hylas. Yes, while the ZNT has unbalanced & lacks bass, it's surprisingly a bit better than the Redragon Hylas. I doubt it, I know... Gee, I can't find a better headphone to surpass my two current headphones/headsets...🙄

• Comfort, on the other hand, the Hylas fits right in my head! I haven't experienced cramps or squeezing during my music time or watching videos. However, it tends to slip when I shake my head, but at least it holds pretty well. And actually, this is what I prefer over my ZNT SoundFit's tight & claustrophobic fit. So, that's a plus for me. 👍

• The mic is pretty decent. While it's not anti-noise cancellation (like their earmuffs), it gets the job A-Okay (I guess). One thing that bothers me is their weak bending of the mic, I hated it. 👎 If only this thing can detach, too...

• And finally, I've tested out with my current smartphone using the included audio splitter cable onto my new headset. 🎧📲 Again, the Hylas' signature sound was the same as before, and I would prefer my current ZNT headphones. My paper dolls seem to be having fun though. 🙂

Overall & Asking price:

• Well, my lil' brother told me this is the best budget gaming headset... But, my mind said otherwise. Yes, it is indeed a good budget headset, but a lot of tweaks & replacements, including the sound driver, could improve better, let alone the cheap plastic material that they used. So overall, if don't want a break your wallet & going for the budget route of headphones, then the Redragon Hylas gaming headset could be your decent option. 👌🎧 But, for die-hard headphones, fans & headset enthusiasts, look elsewhere. 🖱️

• The Redragon Hylas costs from ₱795 ($14,60) to ₱850 ($15.61) from PixelPlay on Lazada PH [CLICK ME!] 🛒🌐🇵🇭, and its available in three different colors: Black, White (mine), and Pink.

but huh this is a tough question, although I frequently think about it (and now I'm gonna list all my fics because I just can't pick😂)

Punishment:

Okay, this one is easy and I think obvious? The only multi-chaptered fic I finished (as far as I can remember) but most definitely the first of those. I think it's also my highest wordcount for a fic yet, but it will be surely surpassed once I finish other wips.

It has smut, which is my fave to both write and read, duh, a bit of dramatics with slight angst, and a lot of taboo. It's sinful and I just love it. Although I wish continuing it with its sequel would be as easy as this fic was.

It's also my favourite ship at the moment, duh. And my first non-Perpollo and also my first Perseidon content. The change from Perpollo was slow but much needed! (As you can see I almost never write Perpollo now, mostly only in Percy/gods stories, I just don't like it that much anymore, although it used to be my fave...)

2. Reference letters for NRU:

This is also an easy pick, I just LOVE the idea behind it, as much as I hate the idea behind the books that will come out, hence why I changed it to be more enjoyable because smut just always helps😂🥰

Not finished, yet, but I remember the Zeus chapter was sooo much fun, and quite possibly a record in my chapter/smut wordcount. I'm soo looking forward to continuing it. Hopefully, we'll see the end soon. If I had to guess this will be the second finished multi-chaptered fic of mine.

Now, this is where things get messy. I kept thinking about my fics, and while I've written some one-shots that I absolutely adore (khm, Tale of Tails, or I'm feeding on denial, fooled by my own betrayal and Happy Father's Day!) I simply cannot place them as third, because mostly once one-shots are done, they're almost never actively in my mind afterwards. Although I do enjoy frequently re-reading these works, and up to this day I wouldn't change a thing in them, so that's love.

But because I wanna put multi-chaptered works here I have two candidates for the third place:

and

No Point In Running From Your Fate

These are both very recent fics, with not-so-recent ideas behind them. I think I had these since May in my ideas doc. 😅

But only one can be third so...

3. No Point In Running From Your Fate:

Although the other is more catching for me, as for the story and angsty feelings, that's a bigger project for sure. Therefore harder to write. Also, this one is less of a slow-burn, which I both love and hate. Mostly hate to write lol.

It will have smut very soon, and it's a much different idea than any of my others, since it's A/B/O, with my own personal system for it. I'm aware the A/B/O dynamic in it is a bit ridiculous perhaps, but I didn't wanna write the conventional one.

Honorable mentions for the list are Sunflower and The Days Of Our Love, my first stories to post on AO3. (let's pretend I never wrote anything prior to those) And while I love TDOOL (the new edition) for its structure (the increase-decrease change in wordcounts of present-past ratio) I love Sunflower for its end... which you don't know yet. But I cried a lot over it... lmao. However I'm stuck with them for multiple reasons, one, I don't enjoy Perpollo anymore, two, Sunflower is at a place where it's hard to continue, due to its themes, and how much self-reflection is in it.

However, I'm looking forward to finishing more of my recent stories too. I really enjoy Pasiphae's Curse (it will have its variations, in like 4 versions) Substitute Boyfriend and Gentlemen's Club too.

Well, that was a lot of fics listed 😂😂

ems.. so I did something embarrassing today and I can't stop thinking abt it. earlier our adviser was speaking and he cracked his voice and I accidentally like, laughed it was a laugh more like a snort and it was so quiet everyone heard it including him, IDK WHY I KEEP EMBARRASSING MYSELF ISTG. Even with his years of experience and long since surpassing his father, Dante still makes makes mistakes from time to time - even if it's only a half there's still a human part of him after all and humans makes dumb mistakes.

His dumb mistake just so happens to be messing up a few royal guards on some blitzes and failing to trick out of the way getting grappled and electrocuted almost to a fraction of his vitality bar is all, no biggie.

With a struggled growl Dante gets back onto his feet, jolts shocking through his bones at a strength that would most definitely kill an ordinary human, and slumps onto the abandoned car behind him (leaving a Dante shaped dent the moment he collapses against it)

"Whew, you'd think after such a long vacation in hell I wouldn't be this rusty."

The truth was ever since he and Vergil returned from hell, Dante's hasn't had a break. The very moment news hit he was back in town it was business as usual; Redgrave and nearby cities still were dealing with hellish problems caused by his brother dearest's oversized demon twig even months after the fact. From fighting back to back to back in hell to now dealing with this even if he didn't want to admit it is taking it's toll on him - he isn't as focus as he should be.

The loud eardrum shaking sparking in front if him bring Dante back into reality as the group of Blitz slowly crawl toward him. He needs to end this now. If he's having this much trouble with only a handful of this bastards he can't imagine what would happen if any of the rest of the crew gets themselves in trouble - his family, what if -

No he has to end this now.

Deep red sparks in his chest as he slowly charges the demonic engery build up in him, one swoop. All it'll take, then he'll meet up with you guys at the van, have pizza, and maybe a strawberry sundae. Just end it now.

Then the moment he's about to release the engery, the sound of a loud engine catches his attention.

"Cover your ears!"

He recognizes your voice the moment his eye catches a tiny blue object being flown from behind him and rolling onto the ground, clinking against one of the claws of a Blitz's hind legs, who (looks down at it dumbfoundedly)

The second Dante pressed his glove clad palms up to his head the blue thing explodes with a blinding pink light and even with his ears covered he can't but to cringe at the hellish ringing that shoots through his ears but when he looks to the demons in front of him he instantly picks up what the blue thing was for; their electrical states are now dormant and now they're standing around dazed and confused. Before he can even look behind him to see where you even came from, you're already ahead of him - literally, with your bike, soaring overhead of him and plopping in front of him with a loud rattle of your (favorite color) motorcycle.

Once a Blitz lighting barrier is gone, you'll fine they with the right weapon power can go down quite easily so it's no shock (hahaha, see what I did there? Okay I get it not funny) that you manage to clear the heard fairly quickly with your arsenal and with your little stunt, they're even too dazed to go into their red elecotro pain in the ass mode either! When the last one clickers into red orbs onto the ground before you, you can't help but to look back at Dante with the widest of smiles, proud of your little show.

"Like my new toys?" You ask him pulling out a few more from your pocket.

Dante feeling like he can finally breathe again nods as he channels his engery to preventing him from now popping Sin DT, feeling it now unnecessary.

"Yeah, if I had something like that earlier maybe that encounter wouldn't been such a pain the ass. Nico make those?"

"Yup!" You shove what you hand into his hands, giving him a closer look at the small blue pods. "Just make sure not to drop them or...you heard what happened."

Dante nods as he goes to put them in his coat. Okay that potentially solves some future issues, he rubs at the bridge of his nose feeling the adrenaline of the fight starting to rub off.

Your eyes take a moment to search his face, something in your gut telling you from the tone of his voice and how his eyes seemed to be staying open by a thread...something wasn't right.

"You feeling alright?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"I don't know because you look like you're about to drop on the spot."

He goes to walk past you throwing his hands up the air and a small little spin around to pop you one of the smallest smiles, promising you he's fine. You can't help but to feel at your face.

"When was the last time you actually rested?"

"(Name)."

"Dante." You watch as a whole bunch of emotions flash in his eyes before he just shakes his head.

"I don't know I'm torn; either right before my previously dead brother's inner goth personified showed up at my office door or the month coma, one of the two."

You sigh looking back at your bike then back to your lover, hand outstretched and catching his hand and pulling him closer into a hug, your face tucked in his shoulder, when you feel his body lax against you.

"Get on the bike, I'm taking you home where you can sleep and take a break from work. A week break minimum." He pulls back and open his mouth to protest, only for you to interrupt it. "You may have saved the world at least...five times or more, and you maybe more than 'human', but still by the end of the day you're still only one man, Dante. Leave things for other people to handle and actually take care of yourself. You've done...already more than enough. Please."

After a long moment of silently arguing with himself Dante finally sighs and nods, bumping his forehead to yours and muttering a quiet thanks before reaching up to press a lingering miss on your lips before taking a hesitant step back. A smile melts on your lips as you quickly pull out your phone to send a quick text to Nero about your sudden change of plans because looking over to see Dante already starting up your bike.

"Hey! It's my bike, I get the driver's seat!" Dante takes a moment before holding up his hands to let you take the handles and scooch back so that you can take you place in front of him.

"My apologies, your chariot awaits." You slap his shoulder as you take your seat, immediately kicking off the ground as you let the engine purr with a rev once you feel strong arms curl around you. In true Dante fashion a loud "Yeehaw!" Echoes through the air the second the two of you set off.

It takes a few hours to drive from where you were in Redgrave back to Capulet City, but luckily for you it seems in no time at all that Dante conks out behind you with his chin pressed in you shoulder and his light snorting greeting your ears. Though he almost fell off a few times in the beginning, maybe because of unconscious demon senses making him squeeze tightly onto you as you swish and turn down the road it's a rather easily ride back home. But you're just happy he's taking an early start to his break - you know better than anyone that he needs it.

At the beginning, without reading the manga, I didn't have a good impression of Kazutora (actually, I was just neutral with him). Thank God and I read the manga, because if I watched the anime only I would be confused).

Kazutora is the best developed character in the whole series. Must of them might think is Takemitchy (which is one of the best), but Kazutora character stole my heart. He is clearly an example about what it's like to surpass the adversities you have face in your life. I can't wait to see his story (well, the rest of his story) animated.
