The Ultra Beasts have lost their way into our world from the world beyond the Ultra Holes. I've researched the four that have appeared so far!

The Ultra Guardians: A team that carries out missions with the purpose of sending Ultra Beasts back to the worlds they came from! Tekkaguya: It was buried in the ground in the ancient past and discovered by pure chance! The Guardians dug it out and it flew high into the sky! Blurb: Incredibly enough, it had been sleeping there in the ground for over 200 years! Massivoon: Satoshi and the others sped to the place where it was going on a rampage after being startled by what people and Pokémon looked like! Both sides were eventually able to understand the other wasn't there to battle them. Blurb: It had enough strength to even handle being surrounded by these Kairiky! Zugadoon: A show-off of an Ultra Beast that showed up at a fireworks display and started putting on a fireworks performance. Top blurb: The round, head-like portion of its body can float and explode! The impact is tremendous! Bottom blurb: It startles those that see it and absorbs their energy. Denjyumoku: It appeared when Zugadoon was causing explosions. It and Zugadoon dueled each other with flashy performances. Top blurb: It appeared at a power plant, where it turned the electricity it absorbed into energy. Bottom blurb: It countered Zugadoon's fireworks with electric discharges! Tundetunde will soon appear as well! The Ultra Beasts appear suddenly, and it's impossible to predict what they'll do. What's going to happen next time?! "Leap 'n' Climb: Tundetunde!" is planned to air August 9th!

I’m not sure what I’d expect. Skull Gang? More info on Ultra Necrozma? SM078 looks to be Blacephalon/Zugadoon episode, which to me will be interesting since I haven’t managed to trade myself one yet. It’s been a while since Lilie’s had a focus episode so, maybe she’s due one? Maybe Rowlet/Mokuroh is due an episode as well... B) wishful thinking

I think it’s actually safe to say Lugarugan’s character arc is pretty much done. I’m glad Iwane got to animate the Lugarugan-Z move, it looks absolutely amazing and beautiful and like, great reward for last week!

Now overall, SM078 was pretty good episode! Everyone contributed to the UB catching, and Xurkitree was actually a threat, with sucking up electricity. Zugadoon just wanted to entertain, and it fits the ‘mon perfectly. It’d fit Contests so well as well.

Pikachu’s Electronet appears again for Group Contest Move (XDD not referenced as one but it certainly can be counted as one), and hih, I like that it’s Satoshi who came up with the idea, considering he has attented Contests couple times before, and seen two of his friends aim for Top Coordinator (And one for Kalos Queen with Perfomances). It’s a subtle nod to the past. One that can or cannot be intepreted as such. But I shall. ;D

Anyway, the preview for next week looks beautiful, Molayne and Kukui will have a moment, Mamane has a role alongside Bebenom. Meteno/Minior look like Konpeito and it bothers me lol. But I have a feeling I’ll absolutely love next week’s episode.

What do you mean by "interesting" for the tiny episode? What other episodes has that person worked on?

If you’re asking about Tomioka, he’s the one who’s been around for a very long time, since the beginning of the show, usually writing some of the best episodes in the series! You can check the list of his episode here.

He pretty much wrote XYZ’s Satoshi Gekkouga arc, the beginning of XYZ, third episode of the whole series. Actually, checking the list, he’s pretty much written each season’s first episode! Not counting OS, AG and Sun & Moon! (Also the final episode of XYZ is from him! :D)

One of the most recent episodes from him was SM078, with the Zugadoon and Denjyumoku, and Performance call-back :) Also some of my favourite episodes in Sun & Moon from him were SM063 and SM071 (yes even thou I’m sad about Shizukumo not getting captured I love the episode with all my heart). Also let’s not forget everyone’s favourite episode: SM043, the second Kanto special!

Hope that’s some good examples. Do check the full list out, you might find some episodes you find to be your favourites :D
