Let's talk about something good in this episode, because one thing I've just realized is that, although it is called Gilmore Girls, there are other characters. Characters that have very great story lines. And one of those characters is the bestest friend anyone could ask for Lane Kim.

Listen she goes through so much throughout all these seasons but let's focus on this episode. Let's focus on Dave Rygalski.

Wonderful Dave who was so willing to jump through all the hoops to go on a date with Lane. Who did the flyer and did the 5 hour guitar playing and the white lies for Lane. Unlike Henry, who I understand and everything but listen Dave. Dave is what Lane DESERVED FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THIS SHOW! Dave is who she should have married and I sincerely believe that she would have if Adam Brody didn't go off to do The OC.

You can't tell me that they started this off so strongly for him to leave. A moment of silence for Dane... or is it Lave. Regardless, a moment of silence for these two. Lane deserved better.
