gill got their own switch so that we’ll be able to play splatoon and pokemon together, so we moved their profile over to the new switch- they had lost interest in animal crossing and were never a huge fan, so they didn’t mind that their villager would become inaccessible.

i didn’t really know what to expect when i went back to my island, but it really seems to just treat it like they can come back at any moment. their mailbox keeps dinging. their house is still there. the villagers still ask about them. its haunting

i’ve never noticed Anabelle before! she’s a pretty cool design actually. technically her species is anteater but she’s designed to look like an armadillo. i always love when AC designs villagers to resemble a species that doesn’t technically exist in the game

Okay is it just me or doe everyone who visits their mystery island want to shake the turtle every time you end up on the same islands and none of the alternate islands we were promised.if I wanted to just visit my own island with the same fruit and vegetables or work island with vines, I’d just stay home or go to work and not spend the miles and listen to the repeated songs. 😔

acnh mod idea: instead of taking up a visitor slot on your home island, Gulliver and Gullivaar have a random chance to appear on the beach of any mystery island or Kapp’n island
