in honor that i found out toontown released in 2003. this is only understandable to like one other person but im right

adam: downloaded it to do something while he was high or bored, created his toon (cat called adam because the name filters wont let him have fun), saw all the membership roadblocks, then uninstalled

lawrence: downloads it on dianas insistence so he can play with her, allows her to do most of the character creation choices because he doesnt want to dedicate a ton of brainpower to a childrens game and is now stuck with like, a dog called big salty or smth. chooses toon-up + lure to help out diana in the quests. pays for membership for both of them and he says its only for a certain time and forgets about it. by the time he loses visitation rights hes concerned with other things like killing people to care to cancel but sometimes he gets a charge and is like what the fuck

amanda: channeling her inner 7 year old she makes a duck. she only logs in to take care of her doodle fishes and races and has no real interest in the quests. as casual as one can get but i think she'd opt for trap (haha)

hoffman: downloads it for no real discernable reason other than to have something to do while hes waiting for people to escape jigsaws funhouse. gets weirdly competitive about it and gets on everyones nerves. i feel hed be like a bear and sticks with the randomized pick a name. toonupless. the WORST to collab with in boss battles or buildings. his way or he'll green you. the citys taxpayer money goes to his membership. its him and captain gigglejinks vs da world

BONUS: strahm gets really mad if you even breathe about it to him he'd be like do you think i'm fucking 5??? im trying to crack a case here where were you last saturday

(Personally I think David and Adam were children of divorce and Adam keeps Faulkner in his name for medical records. David probably changed his medical records to Radford given he works in a hospital and probably found the right person to change it for him.)
