I love dropping in occasionally to check out your SOSS stuff, it's so cool to see how SOSS!Luka has developed his own look and personality compared to his counterpart in the Coffee Shop AU. It's one of those really cool situations where, if you know what its roots are, you can see the connections, but also that the SOSS cast is obviously a very different group than the AHiT characters. It was fun to see the Coffee Shop AU, but it's magical to see this new creation that grew from it, you know?

Thanks, I appreciate that. Taking my sweet sweet time trying to make the characters their own. It’s nice being able to go into personalizing them more than I was able to with the au.

Hey, have you ever seen @doodledrawsthings' Oh The Humanity AU? It's a pretty funky AHiT AU, and there's been a few years worth of content on it. Unfortunately they don't really work on it anymore, but it's still cool to see! I think the tags are "Oh The Humanity Au" and "Oth!au", if you're interested.

YES I HAVE!! i love doodledrawsthings art a whole lot! followed them a few years back, way early in my blog, before the sunsetcorvid url. i often find myself thinking of his AUs a lot, and I really love that the Coffee Shop AU got turned into sort of an original story!! it's so cool

Found myself feeling nostalgic and a bit sad thinking abt the old, popular ahit aus that dragged me deep into this fandom. Like mak’s “””coffee shop””” and oh the humanity aus.

I know coffee shop au is now it’s own cool original thing, and if that ever becomes a cartoon or smth I’ll be there day one to support it, but idk, I haven’t rly seen many other aus that hit like those for me n I miss em. But of course people move in n find different stuff to focus on n that’s cool

So Soss is actually an AHIT au made original!! Scroll thru their "ahit coffee shop AU" tag to find everything! before that was the "oh the humanity" au / "oth!au" which was just the same thing but in reverse/in canon

Basic premise for oth! is Snatcher becomes his human form. Hijinks ensue. Coffee Shop AU is the human, Luka was cursed into being stuck in Snatcher's form instead hehe

I can't remember if I've ever drawn fanart for this AU before, but I don't think I've ever drawn Clover or MJ. I really love their designs, they were pretty fun to draw.

I've been having trouble drawing lately, but I think this turned out okay. At the very least, I had fun with it.

Yeah soss used to be my old “coffee shop au” which was one of those aus where the characters were only really the source characters in name and design and I was falling outta ahit but i still liked the ideas used in the au so I kinda just made it a separate thing
