Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks is a studio album by the British musician and producer Brian Eno with Daniel Lanois and Roger Eno. It was released on 29 July 1983 by EG Records. It was written by Eno in collaboration with his brother Roger Eno and co-producer Daniel Lanois, and is performed by the three of them. The music was originally written for For All Mankind, a documentary film by Al Reinert about the Apollo program, though the film was not released until 1989.

Music from the album has appeared in the films 28 Days Later, Traffic, Trainspotting, and The Lovely Bones, whose soundtrack sold approximately four million copies. Two of the songs from the album, "Silver Morning" and "Deep Blue Day", were issued as a 7" single on EG Records.

Death (monografia) Pt. 2

Semmai Human del 1991 è la vera novità, Paul Masvidal alla chitarra, Steve Di Giorgio al basso, Sean Reinert alla batteria, e nuove sfumature del death metal da esplorare (technical, e progressive death metal). Individual Thought Patterns del 1993, segna invece l’approdo al mainstream da parte dei Death - per quanto il loro tessuto sia in grado di assorbire il mainstream. Soprattutto il singolo The Philosopher, diventa un cavallo di battaglia dei Death, e il relativo videoclip circola addirittura su MTV (famosa una parodia di Beavis and Butthead rimasta nella storia). Symbolic del 1995 non fa altro che aggiungere bellezza, al percorso di una band che non sbaglia un colpo, i brani di questo gruppo sono come piccoli saggi di filosofia snocciolati anno dopo anno, in quanto tali vengono raccolti negli album semplicemente per dare una forma alla totalità dei pezzi, ma in realtà il modo giusto di ascoltare i Death è ascoltare ognuna delle loro canzoni. The Sound of Perseverance rompe in un certo qual modo l’equilibrio di massima perfezione tecnica e melodia creato da Symbolic, per dare ancora un qualcosa di nuovo, un sound disperato come se fossimo orribilmente vicini alla bocca dell’inferno. È il 1998, ci sono Shannon Hamm alla chitarra, Scott Clendenin al basso, e Richard Christy alla batteria (sostituiscono i musicisti apparsi su Symbolic che non è poca cosa, soprattutto per Gene Hoglan alla batteria), e questa formazione insieme a Schuldiner riesce a collezionare una track list piena di possibili singoli - Scavenger of Human Sorrow, Story to Tell, Flesh and the Power It Holds, Voice of the Soul, la straordinaria cover di Painkiller dei Judas Priest, ma viene estratto solo Spirit Crusher), in definitiva ci troviamo difronte al canto del cigno di Chuck Schuldiner e più potente incarnazione dei Death. Una curiosità sulla loro discografia è l’impossibilità di superare la perfezione imperfetta di Scream Bloody Gore, ma sicuramente Schuldiner ha saputo rilanciare anno dopo anno la propria macchina da guerra dando vita a sette meravigliosi album. Chuck perde la vita per un tumore al cervello nel 2001, lasciando il metal orfano di un messia vissuto solo 34 anni.

Svenja Reinert wird sechstes Vorstandsmitglied bei der Kreisverwaltung Wesel  Im Einvernehmen mit dem Landrat hat der Kreistag in seiner Sitzung am 15. Dezember 2022 im nichtöffentlichen Teil entschieden, dass Svenja Reinert neues und damit 6. Vorstandsmitglied der Kreisverwaltung Wesel wird. Wie bereits bekannt, soll die Kreisverwaltung Wesel mit Wirkung zum 1. Januar 2023 über sechs statt fünf Vorstandsbereiche verfügen.  Der neue Vorstandsbereich 6 (VB 6) wird das Immobilienmanagement und die Polizeiverwaltung beinhalten. Sechstes Vorstandsmitglied wird Svenja Reinert. Die 49jährige Rheinbergerin ist Juristin und war kurz als selbstständige Rechtsanwältin zugelassen, bevor sie ab 2007 bei der Bundesagentur für Arbeit tätig war. Sie wechselte zum JobCenter Kreis Wesel, wo sie in verschiedenen Bereichen eingesetzt war, bevor sie ab 2013 sieben Jahre lang die Leitung der Internen Dienste innehatte. Seit April 2020 leitet sie die Polizeiverwaltung im Kreis Wesel und ist Direktionsleiterin Zentrale Aufgaben bei der Kreispolizeibehörde Wesel.    Landrat Ingo Brohl: „In der Zeit seit meinem Amtsantritt ist für mich sehr deutlich geworden, dass die Führungs- und Aufgabenspanne mit lediglich fünf Vorstandsbereichen bei der Kreisverwaltung Wesel insgesamt zu groß ist. Insofern ist die Erweiterung auf sechs Vorstandsbereiche ab Januar 2023 eine notwendige Konsequenz und eine klare Ableitung zur strategischen Führung. Zudem ergeben sich im Immobilienmanagement aus den aktuellen und zukünftigen Bau- und Sanierungstätigkeiten gestiegene Bedarfe. Aufgrund meiner bisherigen Zusammenarbeit mit Svenja Reinert bin ich mir sicher, dass sie sehr geeignet ist, diese wichtige, neue Vorstandsfunktion menschlich und fachlich wahrzunehmen. Svenja Reinert besitzt Führungserfahrung und ist klar strukturiert. Mit ihr gewinnen wir ein sehr kompetentes Vorstandsmitglied zur Stärkung der Aufgabenerledigung der Kreisverwaltung Wesel hinzu.“    Svenja Reinert: „Ich bin mir der Verantwortung dieser neuen Funktion bewusst und freue mich sehr auf die Aufgaben und Herausforderungen, sowie die Zusammenarbeit mit den Vorstandskollegen.“ Neben ihrer neuen Tätigkeit als Vorstandsmitglied wird Svenja Reinert ihre bisherigen Leitungsfunktionen in der Polizeiverwaltung und Direktion Zentrale Aufgaben bei der Kreispolizeibehörde Wesel weiterführen.  Vor allem im Bereich des Immobilienmanagements warten große Aufgaben. Die Kreisverwaltung Wesel hatte Mitte November 2022 ihren aktuellen Bau- und Sanierungspfad vorgestellt. Dieser weist ein Instandhaltungsdefizit von rund 91 Million Euro auf.
