He thought it was stupid.

He thought everything these idiots did, except you, was stupid.

So, why we're you doing this?

"Amor, I had thought you were better than this." Alejandro scolds, crossing his arms.

"Trust me, I'm not gonna die. Besides, Duncan's got me. Right, Duncan?" You looked behind you, Duncan just giving you a toothy smile and a thumbs up.

Your team was currently in economy class, headed off to...wherever. You stood by the wood-patched hole in the side of the plane, a rope tied around your waist. You and Duncan said it was an 'elimination simulator'. Basically, skydiving without the diving part. Alejandro was worried, scared, frightened. He was already scared about losing the last challenge, but now possibly losing you? It wouldn't do.

"You ready, (Name)?" Duncan says, grabbing the extra rope and securing it around his hands.

"Yes!" You said. Alejandro was about to protest, but then the wood flew off, and you slipped, scraping your hand on a nail and falling off with a scream. Duncan panicked, tugging at the rope. Alejandro ran over, grabbed your non-cut hand, and pulled you up into his arms, getting both of you away from the hole.

"Holy shit." Duncan said, breathing through his mouth.

"That..."

"Was so awesome!" You laughed, and Duncan laughed along, giving you a high-five. Alejandro sighed.

"No, not awesome. Let's get you patched up." He shook his head, untying the knot. He kissed the cut hand's palm, leading you off to the bathroom because god knows he isn't getting tetanus. Of course, he loves you, but not that much to get a disease over.

Duncan went and put the rope back, going over to talk to Chef about the hole.

In the bathrooms, you sat on the sink while Alejandro patched up your hand.

"You mad?" You ask him, looking down as he works on your hand.

"Asunto, mi amor, asunto." He tsks, shaking his head.

"I don't know what that means, babe." You say, kissing his cheek after he finishes up.

"Concern. I don't like you getting hurt, you know." He leans against the sink, kissing your bandaged hand.

"I would hope not." You chuckle. "I thought it would be fun. And it was. You should totally try out our simulator some time."

"There is no way I'm letting Duncan have my life in the palm of his hands." Alejandro sighs.

"Come on, he isn't that bad." You roll your eyes.

"...You're kidding me, right?"

when he hears your yelp he panics, immediately twirling around on his heel.

you give this poor boy a damn heart attack when he sees your skate stuck between two rocks, your nails dug into the dirt so you didn't slide down the mountain.

mike decides that chris's hike-race could wait as he sprints over, immediately grabbing your hand and pulling you up.

"are you okay?!" mike is so fussy over you, double checking your once trapped ankle. "i'm okay. thank you so much, mike."

he keeps you close for the rest of the hike, not caring about the challenge as he helps you skate over some bumpy rocks.

"maybe you should give the skates a rest?" he'll suggest, but sighs when you stay stubborn about keeping them on.

he won't ask, but he will literally swoon if you give him a kiss as thanks.

even though you both place pretty late in the race, albeit not last, he's just happy you're okay.

as soon as you yell out his name through the echoed tunnels he's running for you

much like cameron, you had most likely slipped and fell into a deep hole, the sight made his heart jump.

you had a firm clutch upon the rim of the hole you had accidentally rolled into, your skates desperately trying to push you up to safety, yet the wheels only dug in and crumbled some of the rock.

mal snatches your hand, tugging you up with swift strength and into his arms. you must of been tired from holding on since you panted slightly into his neck, holding him just as tight and muttering 'thank you's'.

"be more careful next time." he'll scold, scowling to hide his worry as his arms squeeze you rather protectively. "i will. thanks again, mal."

unlike mike, he will demand a kiss as thanks for saving your life before heading off with you to find chris and the others.

keeps an extremely close eye on where you're going. will kick rocks out of the way for you. even goes as far as to place a hand upon your lower back to ensure you're safe.

after the stress dies down and you're both back in the cabins he'll tease you a little. "maybe you should take skating lessons, doll." "shut up, mal." he won't tell anyone about it though. he's the only one who can humiliate you.

if anyone had a part in your 'accident' he will literally rig the votes to get them off immediately. no one can (almost) hurt his s/o and get away with a million.

in future challenges he keeps a closer eye on you.

owen's carelessness had knocked open yet another rickety patch-job on the side of chris's plane, causing the suction to tug everyone violently.

due to you being sat with noah, your new friend (much to your lover's dismay), alejandro couldn't grab you as quick as he wanted to as you're shook from your seat.

noah's hand grazes your wrist as you yelp, trying to stop yourself- yet your wheels kept moving.

your body is almost thrown from the plane, yet you manage to catch onto a piece of sharp metal, cutting your hand in the process.

alejandro can hear you shouting for him, adding even more stress to the situation. luckily, he manages to grab a handle next to a seat and leans out, snagging your arm just before your hand slipped.

alejandro immediately reels back from the hole with you as leshawna pushes a box in front of the hole, causing the others to drop to the floor.

you clung to alejandro tightly as the others ask if you're alright, face buried into his neck as you soak in the situation, catching your breath.

as soon as alejandro feels your tears wet his neck, probably due to stress and shock of almost dying, he shouts at owen; cursing him out in spanish

after the situation dies down, alejandro sits with you in the farthest and most safe corner, still holding you tightly as you calm down.

"mi vida, are you alright?" he mutters, carefully wiping the blood from your hand with his shirt. when you nod yes, he visibly relaxes, pressing a kiss to your forehead.

"just relax, okay? we'll get to our next location soon. i promise." alejandro keeps his voice soft, trying his hardest to help calm you.

literally glares at anyone who tries to get close to you at the moment, but decides that noah could sit next to you to make sure you're okay.

sandwiched between your lover and best friend, you relax pretty easily, but still jolt with every bump of turbulence. every time you do, alejandro squeezes you a bit closer, kissing your head softly.

if you fall asleep against him he'll literally ascend to heaven.

• And as more and more episodes stretched by, Alejandro comes to realize he liked being around you of all people

• At first, he has a hard time figuring you out. What made you tick and all that. How he could get you to fall for him, just to end up pushing you out the plane's door to the ground below

• After a bit of awkward silence you had sighed and patted the wooden seat next to you. Apprehensive, Alejandro sat down

• It took a minute, but he went on to learn why exactly you had signed up for this show—even sharing a bit of his personal life with you

• Maybe it was the fact that was the first normal conversation he'd had in weeks, but Alejandeo didn't have as hard of a time opening up to you

• He even let you draw a smile face or two on his arm

• "Listen dude." You had said while doing it, not looking up from your sketching, "I know your game. It's smart, don't get me wrong. But try not to rope me into it okay? I don't crush easily."

• From then on he did his best to win you over. Offering to pose for your art, getting as close as possible to you at all times, etc. Alejandro wasn't lying when he said he enjoyed a challenge. It was a lot more fun that way

In all honesty, you should have seen this coming at some point or another.

Running into any of the old castmates was very easy now that you've been connected with a majority of them.

And that included Alejandro.

Sure, you saw him at the finale, but this felt different.

For the first few days, you were able to avoid him pretty well.

After what happened last time, you didn't want any chance at getting close or vulnerable.

It's All-Stars, after all, so who knows what it will cost you this time when Alejandro decides to plot against you.

Unfortunately, he was just as persistent to talk to you.

"(Y/N)."

Fuck, here we go.

"As you are aware from the last time we saw each other, I wasn't totally honest."

"That's a fucking understatement." You snorted, earning a glare from him.

"Anyway," He said, "I'm sure by now you have watched the season and figured out why I did what I did. I-"

"Oh for fuck's sake, kicked me out." You said, crossing your arms, "You can fucking say it! You kicked me out!"

"Yes, well-"

"You kicked me out because you couldn't handle some god damn teasing from the others." You said, "It was a stupid fucking reason." You sighed, "But, I guess that comes with the territory of it being a game, doesn't it?"

"It was for protection."

"Ha, like you needed any. Everyone loved you. You had a working plan." You said, "It worked for Bridgette and LeShawna. It would've worke-"

"Except that my focus would slip and it risked everything." Alejandro paused, "So, I had to eliminate the risk."

Everything you remembered and watched about the season suddenly made much more sense.

You never actually considered the option that whatever was happening between him and you was in anyway real, especially a threat to Alejandro's standing.

After that, you tried your hardest to continue to keep your distance and guard up, waiting for a repeat.

Though, to your surprise, you found that Alejandro was just as hell bent on keeping you close.

Something about wanting to make amends for what happened last time.

For once, he seemed......sincere---which was a bit unsettling for a look on him.

Once the teams merged, you weren't surprised to find that he wanted to form an alliance.

Yeah, sure, that's what we'll call it.

"I guess I get it now," You grinned towards the confessional camera, "Besides, its not like I'm on my top game right now," You paused, "so, yeah, I get it." You then suddenly remembered that you were still in the confessional, "I mean not like I would give him the satisfaction of knowing that. His ego is already so big." You said.

The both of you knew what it really was: picking up where world tour left off

Though, it made it just as ironic that you made it further than him.

Especially since part of it was your fault, voting him out in a pact with Gwen, Courtney, and Scott.

You're sure that he understands.

Even if it meant that you went through the rest of the competition with the same lonely-guilty feeling that he had.

"Was it satisfying? Yes." You said, barely glancing at the camera in the confessional. "Do I regret it?" You paused, "Eh.....?" You shrugged your shoulders, "Do I miss him? Yeah, I do." You sighed, knowing full and well that Alejandro was gonna tease the shit out of you for this confessional, much like you had with his previous ones in World Tour. "But, it had to be done."

"Ah, um, yes?" Alejandro looks over at you with that famous smile. You smile back, and it's like the metal cage around his heart got it's lock picked. Again.

He doesn't understand. How can someone on this godforsaken plane besides himself have any redeeming qualities? It was like you knew how to make him happy, how to make him enthusiastic. It was like he was the dog and you were the owner. He didn't like it, but he didn't mind it either.

"You seem a little, uh, off. Is everything going smoothly in the Burromuerto-mobile?" You chuckled lightly at your own joke, but you put a hand on his shoulder afterwards. "I'm always here to talk if the confessionals don't do any good."

Alejandro tried. He tried so hard to see a sliver of something evil. But he couldn't. And...it wasn't so bad. He smiled, patting your hand. "Ah, amor. You are too kind to me, truly."

"What? Why wouldn't I be?" Alejandro's eyes went wide. "You're the coolest person on this flight, man. Also, my teammate. Gotta make friends some way, right?" You smile wider, putting your hand on top of his.

He almost short-circuts.

You went on to win some challenges with Alejandro, all the while joking, talking and laughing with him.

He was about to break.

He could go on and on about you. Positive things, of course. You were simply amazing to him. You treated him with respect, with kindness. He hadn't been so happy to see someone's face every day in what seems like years.

Until, Alejandro finally figured something out about you. His brain clicked in all the right places. He finally understood. He finally knew.

One night when your team was in first class, Alejandro had sat next to you in one of the chairs.

"Can't sleep?" He whispered to you.

"Nope." You whispered back. You turned to face him, smiling. "Same for you?"

Alejandro nods. "(Name), is it alright if I use my 'free conversation' ticket?" He jokes. You say yes, of course.

"I just would like to thank you. Thank you for everything. You've been so nice to me, niceness I never knew I needed." He felt himself start to tear up. I had this random thought where the reader (gender neutral), from the very start of tdwt, Is aware of Alejandro's game and they use that to their advantage. Every time he tries to use his charm on them they uno reverse card him, flustering him instead. Their dynamic progresses throughout the show from an "I can mess with this guy" to "I hope we meet again when the show ends". Like, to the reader, the money doesn't matter to them anymore they just want to mess around with Alejandro and hang out.

Alejandro Burromuerto. The charmer, the second Heather, the guy who gets the girl. He was all of those things and more. There's so much going on in this competition, so why is he dwelling on one thing?

That one thing was you. You saw through the act. And he respected you for it.

"Ah, (Name), fancy seeing you here." Alejandro smiles, sitting next to you on the bench in economy.

"We're on the same team, you know." You chuckle. Alejandro gets a bit closer to you.

This was it. Alejandro had to vote you out before he got too caught up in whatever spell you put on him. You walked up and sat down next to him.

"Hey, Alejandro." You said. Alejandro just looked at you. "I already know I'm getting voted out, so, uh, I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed what we had."

Alejandro raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"The constant flirting and bickering. It was kinda fun, if I'm being honest." You smile. "I'd like to get to know the actual you, after this whole thing is over. Am I able to give you my number if we see each other again?"

Alejandro paused. Why was his heart aching?

"Of course." He said. And to his surprise, he hugged you.

'' no money, no girls, denied ''

"Hey, Alejandro, I'm gonna take a shower." You called out from the bathroom. You heard footsteps coming to the door, probably Alejandro.

"Tesoro, I have a question." He said from behind the door.

"Yeah?" You responded, taking your top off.

"Would you mind if we, um, showered...together?" He asked hesitantly. You opened the door, blush coating both of your faces.

"Y- yeah, sure, sure." You smiled, opening the door for him. He stepped inside, giving you a kiss on the cheek before starting to undress himself. You started the water, just to get it hot, as you stripped the rest of your clothing and hopped into the shower. Alejandro joined you moments later, up against your back in the tight space.

"This was, um, not meant for two people, I believe." He chuckled, his hands on your shoulders.

"Oh well." You chuckled, leaning your head back against his shoulder. Alejandro's hands snaked around your waist, his head resting on your shoulder.

"It's moments like these are ones I very much enjoy, lindura."

"I do too." You respond, kissing him softly. "Now, let's get clean before we waste anymore water. " You smile, cracking open the bodywash.

Alejandro got out of the bathroom much later than you. You were cuddled up on the bed, under the blanket. Alejandro came in, flopping down on the bed beside you. He got under the blanket as well, cuddling up to you like a cat.

"Good shower?"

"Very good." He responded, arms going to hug your waist. You settled into his touch, calm, content and clean.

noah was content, happy even

until you flocked over to alejandro during wt

you still hung out with him, yes, but you had brought the eel into it

he didn't hate alejandro, no. he wasn't jealous or anything

"No, Alejandro, we can just add the—" You were cut off.

"All respect given, mi amor, but you are wrong. We need to add the sugar and then the cocoa powder." Alejandro sighed, placing the piece of paper down on the counter. "You are going to make me do something very bad, carñio." He mumbles.

"We don't have to follow the goddamn recipe." You roll your eyes, adding the sugar and the cocoa powder in at the same time. "There, happy now?"

"Very." He stands up straight, looking over at the bowl. "I hate home ec," He shakes his head.

"Hey, what's so bad? You get to team up with me." You tease, looking over the recipe and getting the right things.

"Ah, yes, because I just love you so much." Alejandro says sarcastically, rolling his eyes. You chuckle, cracking some eggs into a bowl.

"Maybe I just love you so much back." You respond.

"...Seriously?" Alejandro pauses. You look back at him.

"...Maybe." You mumble, looking away after a few seconds.

"I think I want that 'maybe' to be a 'yes'." He says, his hand going on top of yours. His thumb gently caresses the top of your hand. You blush faintly, your pinky going up ontop of his pointer finger.

"I think I do too." You turn to him.

And then, he kisses you. And you kiss back.

He pulls away slowly, clearing his throat. "That was, um, pleasant." Alejandro says, blushing along with you.

You just nod. "Let's get this assignment done."
