First I want to ask who it was that HC’d about Kortopi sleeping under Fei’s bed and Fei feeding him french fries?!  I adored that and I’d LOVE to incorporate it into a fic!

Personally, I headcanon that Feitan and Franklin tend to do the cooking whenever the troupe is together.  Machi, Chrollo, Shizuku, Shalnark, Phinks, and Hisoka have no earthly idea of how to cook.  Nobu and Kalluto can do ‘camp food’ or ‘survival food’.  Paku can cook well but tends to gourmet things;  healthy, delicate, perfect-presentation things that don’t do well in seedy hotels and drafty warehouses.

No it’s Fei and Franklin who know how to scavenge and cook a hearty meal in the worst conditions.  Plot Twist: Kortopi can cook as well but is lazy.

What is everyone elses headcanons for the troupe and food? (or anything else!)

“Feitan moves clockwise around his fire, poking at the grilling corn on the cob and turning over the pieces of rabbit, stretched - brown and glistening - over the grate.  He frowns, realizing he’s forgotten his salt.  He looks around for a stray Troupe member to assist him.  Everyone is over the top of the hill sitting in lawn chairs and drinking and looking at the faraway city lights.
