dawg im so sick of weirdos on the internet defending really problematic shit and saying "it's fiction" cause like, while i do get where they're coming from, shutting down an argument with it sucks. sure, fiction can be used to explore problematic things, its just that i have an overall issue with how these people expect it to be consumed without any thought at all??
it also doesnt even address the nuance when it comes to this kinda shit (which is why i dont like the pro/anti labels bc wtf do those labels even fucking mean. i hate it)
#i dont wanna go full rant on the post so ill put the rest of my thoughts here#basically i dont care about what you consume in fiction. but i also want you to be critical of whatever youre consuming#for example i recently watched a vid about isekai harems and ppl were talkin about how it was escapist fantasy for lonely men in japan#but it just makes me feel a bit icked out bc i feel like this kinda media CAN affect how men view women#the same applies to shit like. rape fantasy and stuff#im not sayin that EVERY person who enjoys this would do this irl#but its problematic anime like this that makes me lowkey worried about how men view women yknow??#and the same applies to loli/shota stuff#these guys act like bc theyre fiction it doesnt reflect on their actions irl and i do agree to an extent#but i feel like it only applies to some select individuals#some of them can draw a hard line with fiction when it comes to this shit. but there are others who look at problematic anime and go#'oh well bc the guy in this anime does this it MUST be ok!!'#obvs tho im not sayin problematic shit shouldnt be in media. a lot of ppl also lack media literacy#and that shit annoys me too#overpolicing of what people should enjoy is annoying#ive rambled a lot but my conclusion is this: if you enjoy smth problematic just keep in mind if it affects the way you think towards others#also goes without saying but keep your space away from minors as well#and if someone expresses they dont like the thing you like then just respect that???#skypeaks

Miss Kobayashi Dragon Maid review/rant
CW: fart kink mention/sexualization of minors mention/call out
So I'm watching Miss Kobayashi Dragon Maid finally! I know I answer my asks a lot with gifs from that anime but really it’s my first time watching it. 😅
I didn't want to watch it because I know my heart would melt for these dragon girls, my love for monster girls is so big. 🥺
Now I'm fantasizing so bad with Tohru farts 🥰 and Elma too because she loves to eat and she must be so gassy 🥴🤭💖 I began season two, and I'm thinking of reading the manga after. 👀
Tumblr media
Now that being said I need to state that:
I don't like what they did with Quetzalcoatl and that "accidental summoning" just to make a forced shota insert with a mage kid name Shouta, like really? totally unnecessary (also I find it so disrespectful to the Mesoamerican culture).
And the same thing with Kanna, her character is so cool showing how she discovers the human world, but the thing they did with Saikawa her classmate, getting horny or something similar to that every time Kanna touches her it kinda creeps me out, she's a primary school girl for fuck sakes.
I don't like loli/shota stuff in general and it gets me really angry and uncomfortable when some authors do it for fanservice purposes, it's a big historical and cultural problem that anime/manga content has in general.
And I’m not going to even touch on the topics of big tits and the objectification of women in the same show, because I also have an opinion towards that, and It could end as an essay.
I'll always be against it, as a trans woman (that often gets seen as a walking fetish), as a transfeminist, as a sex worker making content, and as a professional animator working in this medium, I will always call these things out, and be as consequential as I can.
These kinds of stories could work perfectly without that.
I like adult characters doing things with other adult characters in a consenting way, that applies to kinks and fetishes too.
That was my review/rant, I'm sorry if I insist on some of this stuff, but it needs to be called out.
Anyway, If you imagined Tohru or Elma doing fart kink stuff would love to know your thoughts. 🥰

RULES ༊࿐ ͎. 。˚ ° ⊹ ˚.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
MINORS ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!!!
I both write and interact with dark and sexual content that isn't suitable for younger audiences. To follow you have to put in your age or else you will be blocked. Same applies for minors that try to follow me.
I WRITE FOR FUN!!!
Please understand that writing is not my job, it's a hobby and I write whenever I feel like writing. This is my blog and I write what I want however I want. I do not want constructive criticism and hate for what I write.
NO HATE!!!
Speaking of hate, I don't want any racists, sexists, transphobes, homophobes, etc on my blog. Understand that this is my blog, my safe space and a safe environment for everyone. Hate will be blocked.
I AGE CHARACTERS UP!!!
Point blank period. I write fanfictions about fictional characters. Those are some lines on a piece of paper, not real people. DNI if you don't like that. However, I gotta note...
I INTERACT AND INTEND ON WRITING DARK CONTENT AND SMUT!!!
This is primarily the reason why I age characters up. For me, dark content is a creative outlet of exploring taboos in a safe manner. I am in no way endorsing the behavior I write about. If that makes you uncomfortable, please feel free to block me.
DNI IF YOU ARE INTO LOLI/SHOTA!!!
I have so many issues with the consumption of Shota and Loli content. To me, this is a line that shall not be crossed. Children will never be involved in dark content in my writings, only canonically adult or aged up characters.
NO BLANK BLOGS!!!
I don't want bots to follow me. Please make sure that your blog isn't empty/has a pfp and or bio, or else I'll have to assume that you're a bot and blockt you :/
DON'T SPAM LIKE!!!
I appreciate likes and reblogs, but spam liking might get me shadowbanned. Please be mindful of that, because dealinh with a shadowban isn't fun.
DON'T TRANSLATE OR STEAL MY STUFF!!!
This is pretty self explanatory, but I gotta note that I don't want my fics to be stolen or translated.
THIS BLOG IS MY SAFE SPACE FIRST AND FOREMOST!!!
I'm an avid advocate for "Don't like? Don't read/interact", which means that I will block people... a. whose vibes I don't like. You gotta trust your gut feeling from time to time, and if there's something off about a person, I will not ignore my gut feeling and block them. b. who make me feel deeply uncomfortable. Now, granted, it does take a lot to make me physically uncomfortabel to even think of certain people, but it does happen from time to time. It's usually because of a post or a moral stance that a person here might have that I strongly (!) disagree with. c. that are always posting about drama/discourse. Shit happens from time to time, but if all you post about is drama and discourse you're not even part of, you're not welcome here. d. that have been known and proven to steal fics. As mentioned previously, I do not allow anyone to post my fics under their own name, and for good reason. Anyone that writes knows that writing is an incredibly hard hobby to have; it takes a long time to write something I'm proud of, so seeing someone blatanly copy me is disheartening and infuriating. I don't mind it when people just so happen to have the same ideas, what I do not tolerate is copying fics word for word. These criteria concern not only people that wanna interact with me/I interact with, but also my mutuals.
I'm here to read, write, and talk to people. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't like having drama on the dash, and I most certainly don't wanna be part of it either. If you ever find to have issues with me, please feel free to either block or dm me, so we can sort things out.
I HARD BLOCK!!!
I hard block to break the moot. Again, I don't do this out of fun, if I hard block you, you must have said something in a post that made me change my mind about you (which again, doesn't happen often). I do however go through my blocked and will unblock people that clearly state that they are above 18. This is the only time I soft block, otherwise people stay blocked on this page.
DO NOT DRAG ME INTO DISCOURSE!!!
I'm here to read, write, and talk to people. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't like having drama on the dash, and I most certainly don't wanna be part of it either. If you ever find to have issues with me, please feel free to either block or dm me, so we can sort things out.

Hi, so i really am trying to understand the proship thing and i don't really remember since when and how but i have a rape kink so glass houses and all, i got that enough to be shocked but understanding when i joined fandom.
The thing is i don't know where the line is with things being okay and i don't know what it means for things like pedophilia. I am not baiting, the problem with the hot topic is that i have simply never seen an actual clear stance on it. Its either oh i am not touching this bait or making everything about it. Things like parent-child incest idk where that stands even if not underage. There is no clear conversation around it that i have seen. Like i get applying the same principles for it so its same in theory, fantasies/thought crimes are not a thing and all ya and if someone does read/write such content that is completely sexual i mean i wouldn't take it as they think its okay sure but like i don't understand is it not taken as something that does cause real life harm or has high risk communities and if there is then what responsibility is there for a person to not engage in such content.
--
Most people react to these topics out of fear, not logic, so I'm not surprised.
Okay, to start off, 'pedophilia' is technically a disorder some people have where they're primarily or exclusively attracted to prepubescent children. It functions much like a sexual orientation in that people are born with it and there is no cure.
Arguments over whether it counts as an orientation are obviously contentious because gay people are tired of being called pedos and homophobic shitheads would love to use pedophilia being an orientation to discredit other orientations. But it's important to understand that it functions much like an orientation.
Now, sexual abuse of children is a separate thing. Despite what a lot of people would tell you, it isn't synonymous with pedophilia. Many rapists simply choose vulnerable targets, and very young or old people in the care of others are vulnerable. Ditto disabled targets. It's a crime of opportunity in many cases and not related to the rapist actually experiencing sexual attraction for the target. Likewise, there are pedophiles who are horrified by their urges and don't wish to act on them.
Scientifically, we do not know if consuming fiction makes pedophiles less likely to offend. It doesn't appear to make them any more likely, but more research is needed. (Lots of people oppose this research, of course, even though it would help us figure out how to reduce the incidence of actual children being harmed because it's science and facts instead of screaming about Satan.)
In addition, people like fiction for many reasons. Loli/shota drawings don't look like literal children. Lots of "pedo" fanfic is actually about teenagers or adults who have childlike traits. Even for stuff that has child characters, a consumer of art could be picturing themselves as the child. People can get off to things because they are horrendous rather than despite. People can process trauma in odd, sexual ways. Yadda yadda.
A lot of "this fiction is pedo" discourse ignores all of the above. It assumes that consuming fiction about X leads to more X in real life. It assumes that having an attraction inherently means acting on that attraction nonconsensually. It assumes that attraction to fictional "children", including teenage characters and anime blobs that don't look like humans, means attraction to literal real life children.
When you talk about things causing real life harm, what you're saying is that reading about rape leads to people raping. Reading about incest leads to people committing incest. Reading about sex with children causes people to have sex with children.
None of that is a fact.
The reason this is "bait" is that you're starting the conversation from a false premise, so to even discuss it, the other party has to dismantle all of the assumptions in how you ask the question.
If you actually want some science facts, @fiction-is-not-reality2 has some stuff over on Dreamwidth.

Oh boy I never thought I make a post on this guy as I thought he was no longer relevant but do to the current pedophilia climate, I think its time to do a post about him. This is ben and here is the video from the screen shot I post. To sum up, Ben has been defending a artist who got under fire because of Cub porn at the moment. Yes you can see where this is going and it doesn’t help on the fact that his Oc is naked while talking about this. However my issues to this video comes with the fact that he is angry how everyone got a reaction that he thought was unnecessary despite the fact that when you draw cub or lolis or shota or anything that involves small kids....
OF COURSE YOUR GOING TO GET AS MUCH BACK LASH AS YOU GET! BECAUSE PEOPLE DO NOT LIKE THESE TO BEGIN WITH!
I know that there is a thing call going to far and yes the people who do that, please don’t as it only gives people sympathy point and make it worst. However Ben, you are suffering the same exact exposure when Digi is mad that no one accepts his loves for lollies and so forth. You want everyone to accept your fetishes for loli and cub and Foal con because of course it includes that. When your on the internet people will mock you for this and you have to accept that once it comes out ether by you or by someone else. Yes places like here in the US don’t have laws against but do you think people would really hang out with you or be as concern once they find out you are into this stuff? Also this one statement he has said just really fails in terms of debunking.
People who cite that document always conveniently leave out the part that it says that it doesn't apply to fake cartoon characters whose ages can't be determined by a glance because they exist in the realm of fiction. And I'd rather there be fake porn of young characters out there to get their rocks off to, than for all their desires to get built up and go after real kids.
Ummm you do realize that porn such as the ones you mention are by definition ment to releave yourself right? Its meant to let a lot stress and release yourself from the craving you got. This argument basically blows your entire legs off. Should we excuse lily for writing an entire saga of the mlp characters screwing off with young kids? That is basically what your doing Ben. You want people to stop treating you like a pedo but how would that even be possible if you keep on going on and on how you and other artist who draw this shit are on the watch list and not even know why people are concern about you and the others. You may have not harm kids ben, but like digi, you are loosing so much credibility that I don’t even know why people enjoy your content that much. I want to say think before you speak but I guess that is no longer advice you wanted to take.
I leave you with this one comment here.
Tumblr media
Okay, so I watched this video of this Ben and well, he’s not exactly right and he’s not exactly wrong.
If you draw a fictional/cartoon character in a saucy or even sexually explicit way and you explicitly tell your viewers that this character is underage, then that is wrong. Absolutely.
But there are gray zones in this thing, unfortunately. Furry porn and foalcon can always be argued with the fact that animals age differently than us and that the characters may actually be adults... I know, it's disturbing but it is like that, I don’t like it either.
With Stockholm, they may be fictional characters from a cartoon but they are explicitly stated as being human. So the Cutie Mark Crusaders being 14 actually means they are 14. (In comparison, in horse years they could be adults and then there could’ve been an argument and such...)
I just wanted to clarify a bit and add a bit of a non-angry touch.

A small research on the anime community part 3:
Disclaimer: Not all information defines all people who are/were in the anime community so it may or may not apply to everyone. This also isn’t meant to offend anyone as I'm just trying to get this out here for people see and maybe learn a little. One thing that you should know is that this is a school project, meaning that there may be some bias and a rather long explanation of things.
-----------------  The anime community has helped others, but has it helped itself as a community?  76% said that anime itself regardings its animations and plotline was good, 22% said it has many cliches but otherwise was alright, and 2% said they were neutral in the standard. Despite this, they seem to find anime to be a great source of entertainment and art, or  “even better than American tv shows.”   “It's weird to people most of the time, but I love it, not attached fully, but it makes me smile and teaches me valuable lessons most of the time.” Anime, as stated, has a very different style from western culture but it’s loved amongst its fans and piqued interest into others while allowing others to get more than what they would get out from normal shows. 39% percent of people said that anime has a bad community,  45% said it depended on the fandoms, 8% said it was good, 6% said they didn’t care. “Depends which one. Some are really nice and quiet while others are beyond toxic. Others can also just be dead and inactive.” First off a Fandom is a community of people who are all in the interest of a book/movie/show/comic, an example would be Disney. All those people who make blogs/videos/art/literature based on it are in the fandom which is why it has gained interest. When a fandom/community is being toxic it means that people are going out of their to way to insult/harass others for what they do and not agreeing with them. A dead fandom/community is one that used to be very active but throughout recent years or months, people have lost interest and or moved on, meaning that it has less content or if there is, it is very little to none. Biggest problem?
Tumblr media
Entitled: Those who rage/get angry at Not think the same way and when others disagree, mary sues Sexualizing: Taking characters and sexualizing them no matter what they are. “ I take issue with fujoshis, a term to describe girls who enjoy gay/mlm content to a point of obsession and fetishization of gay and transgender men.” “ Wellllll, depends on who ya ask. For me, it's the creeps who take stuff a bit too far. The whole loli and shota thing. I always take as a joke unless I can tell that the person is actually serious. Then it's a problem. “ Loli is the term given to small or underage girls that look young/cute. Shota is the same thing as a loli but with a boy. The sexualizing of these type of characters can be quite harmful and disturbing. With lolitacons somewhat promoting pedophilia and fetishizing same-sex relationships, are some of the reasons people try to stay away from the community since those same people seem to be the same ones who have an entitled opinion making others feel bad. The sexualizing is also a big problem itself since it seems to category others who aren’t in it, in it.  Not only would this affect the community but other communities as well like the LGTBQ+, bringing harmful content to a community trying to better itself. 40% of people say that the anime community has affected the internet/society in a good way, 16% said it was bad, 35% said both, and 8% said they didn’t really care or not know. It all depends truly at what people decide to see, search, and watch. In conclusion, the community seems to have both toxic, sexual, and harmful/disturbing content as well as understanding, self-expression. People seem to find a general positive encounter with others who share the same interest when they can’t voice it somewhere else. “Its creativity and content allow people to express themselves, memes and art, united those who don’t have anyone else to share it with. “ ------ part 2 |  part 1

Pillowfort: Clueless
jchance4d4
replied to your post
“In Pillowfort's terms when they say NSFW of minors is not allowed are...”
I don't know if they've changed it, but when I read the TOS it went on to say that they meant it to only apply to really blatant child/barely-pubescent appearances, just that "really 700 years old in canon" wasn't going to create an exemption. That said, even if they're completely sincere with that, they've bought their staff quite a headache.
Really? I’m not seeing that.
The current ToS say:
“Sexual or sexually-suggestive content that appears to involve minors. This includes (but is in no way limited to) visual content such as illustrations, drawings, paintings, comics, digitally-generated images, and related visual content that (1) shows a minor engaged in sexual conduct or (2) shows a minor with exposed genitalia and lacks any legitimate medical or scientific purpose.“
First off, they’re a bit suspect since they kicked somebody off for loli art before that was in the ToS. Now, I dislike loli art, and I don’t mind not sharing a space with it, but this was a huge red flag that they are not competent or reputable to run any site, including one with strict content policies.
It smacks of a “Well, we thought everyone would just know that wasn’t okay!” attitude. Having lived through plenty of eras where any depiction of queerness was not okay on plenty of platforms, this makes me deeply wary. You can’t assume. You have to spell out. And if someone does something you dislike, you have to change the rules first, then have them remove the problem content. You don’t just ban them without a word.
So starting from that place of already not trusting them--because they’ve amply shown they don’t deserve trust--I look at this ToS and it strikes me that they’re completely clueless.
They’ve used the word ‘minor’ without clarifying in any way. That’s a legal term with a legal definition. If they mean puberty, that’s a huge problem! If they do mean legal minors, they still need to clarify what age that is because it varies by country. Also, people can be legal minors while being over the age of consent or over the age of consent with a similar-aged partner.
Are they saying that art of 16-year-old Harry Potter characters making out is banned or not? It’s legitimately not clear from these ToS.
What AO3 says, in contrast, is:
“The Archive of Our Own is a place for fanworks. Content may not be uploaded to OTW's servers if it contains or links to child pornography (images of real children); warez, cracks, hacks or other executable files and their associated utilities; trade secrets, restricted technologies, or classified information;...
This makes it blatantly clear that actual child pornography laws are the arbiter of what is allowed. And we know which laws because the ToS also say:
“You and the OTW agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within New York County (Manhattan), New York, and to waive any objection to the laying of venue there.”
In the ToS FAQ, it further clarifies:
“What do you mean by "underage" in the Archive tags?
Underage refers to descriptions or depictions of sexual activity by characters under the age of eighteen (18). In general, we rely on authors to use their judgment about the line between reference and description or depiction. Sexual activity does not include dating activity such as kissing, but again, we rely on authors to use their judgment about what is generally understood to be sexual activity. An author may always specify the age of the characters.“
AO3′s policies state extremely blatantly which age is the cutoff for “underage” and what the actual restrictions are (nothing that is legally child pornography in New York). AO3 also clarifies to some degree what counts as sexual activity.
I get that this is all a big gray area, and I don’t necessarily dislike what Pillowfort appears to be trying to go for. What I think they’re after is a situation where fairly tame art of same-age teenagers getting it on is fine but loli and shota are not. That’s fine. Lots of people agree with that stance. There’s an audience for a site with that stance.
But that is not a stance they’ve put in the rules in a clear way that will be hard to exploit.
What is going to happen is that some organized group will see these rules and realize they’re the perfect way to bully. Literate Union on FFN and antis on AO3 love to set up mass-reporting campaigns for stuff they don’t like.
On FFN, LU gets away with it because lots of things posters see as “normal” are actually against the rules. But LU doesn’t just report any rules violation. There are far too many for them to catch them all. Instead, they catch rules violations for ships or fandoms they already dislike. In practice, groups like them normally “clean up” fandoms like Twilight and m/m ships. It’s a very disproportionate attack.
On AO3, in contrast, most content is allowed, so very few things can be legitimately reported. Mass organized reporting on spurious grounds is itself considered harassment. When antis try their bullshit, they get told where to stick it.
The AO3 rules look like that because I proposed them specifically to head off LU-style behavior.
Pillowfort is waving a red flag to every bully on the internet. They probably do have good intentions.
Those intentions do not matter.
They are setting themselves up for disaster. I think it’s a good bit worse than just a headache for the staff. This is split-the-userbase-down-the-middle mass exodus level stuff. This is targeted harassment enabled by site rules level stuff.
