I'm gonna talk about this panel again, actually

Yes, Nagi's obliviousness to how he hurt Reo's feelings is frustrating yadda yadda yadda

But from the pov of Nagi being secure about their relationship, Reo hurt Nagi's feelings as well, and I feel like this gets rarely acknowledged?

Imagine this. You're Nagi. You don't wanna be in blue lock. You don't even want to attend. The summon letter you received interested you so little, you only opened it cause Reo did. You tagged along because Reo, your best friend, cared about it.

Then you learn blue lock is a special training program that will pit all the competitors against each other in a fight with only one winner. You don't wanna be Reo's enemy, and you don't want him to be yours. You try to leave, reasoning you don't want to face the day you'll either have to win against him and crush his career, or get eliminated yourself and crush his dream. You try to explain this to him. He doesn't understand—doesn't even want to listen. You sigh and keep tagging along, for his sake. Your heart isn't in it, but Reo believes in you so much you want him to be happy. You tell him, "stay with me till the end", knowing that parting will be inevitable at some point, despite his delusions otherwise. He tells you, "it's a promise, Nagi", and you believe him cause Reo puts his entire heart into his promises.

You still don't care that much about football. You'd rather be at home, secure that Reo is where he belongs, in a place filled with likeminded and driven people like him, and nothing like you. But you persist. For his sake, cause he still believes you more than you ever believed in yourself, really. At some point, soccer starts to become kind of fun. You can see yourself finally getting invested, and you tell him "I want to try to make an effort". Isn't this what he's always been wishing for all this time? For you to try, on your own, without bribery? And you tell him, "You and I are going to be best in the world. That's a fact." You believe so much in him, just as much as he believes in you. His dream was never yours, but you want to see it happen anyway, not for Reo but to keep staying with him until the end. Cause you like being with him. It's comfortable. It's fun. So you tell him, "later, Reo. I'll be waiting for you," because you'll always find your way to him, no matter what. You swore your future to him, and he to you.

You part ways with him and immediately feel lonely. You've never been apart for long, but you think his dream might be starting to become yours too, a little bit, cause you keep thinking about it—about ways to make it happen, still. You were beaten once, and it was enough to make you fear you and Reo wouldn't make it, and you don't want that. Neither does Reo, you know this. So you part ways even if it hurts. Even if Reo wasn't happy about it. He promised you he'll stay with you till the end, and Reo keeps his promises, so why would he lie to you?

But then, just after two days apart, he tells you, "You and I are rivals now, Nagi," and you don't understand what he means. His eyes are so cold, dull, and he slaps your hand away. He never refused affection before. Reo always initiated it, but not anymore. And he tells you "I'm going to crush you," and you don't know why he would say such a thing. You'll win the world cup together. That's a fact. So you don't say anything back. It hurts, but you don't protest it. Reo believed in you first, it's your turn now to believe in him. You singlemindedly continue to believe in that dream, even if he doesn't seem to care about it anymore.

And then it happens. Just like you predicted on day one, you're up against each other, but you give it your all. You never wanted him to be your enemy, but that's how he feels, and you knew this day would come sooner or later.

So you put it to the back of your mind. You don't listen to the doubt in your chest, even if you think Reo might have forgotten, after all. But you haven't, and that's all that matters to you now.

Then you win, but it was a close match, so you know he'll keep advancing. That's just who Reo is. He's so talented, so driven. So you tell him you'll be waiting for him. Again. Trying so hard is a pain, but you're willing to do it however many times it takes to become strong enough to chase that dream again, with Reo at your side. You don't know what Reo is feeling, or why he doesn't want to be your friend anymore, but you think he'll understand this, at least. This all-consuming drive that fires you up from the inside, this excitement. Between the two of you, Reo was always the more passionate one. Except now he's not. He's slumped on the ground, and he doesn't get up. He tells you, "if you're gonna throw me away, then just do it," like that idea ever crossed your mind, like it's not utter nonsense to you. He looks at you with defeat written all over his face, waiting for you to offer him an excuse to give up on the world cup. To give up on you.

And you think, what happened to making you the best stiker in the world? To staying together till the end? What happened to your promises to each other?

Did that dream matter so little to him? Did you?

I feel as if this tournament must exist somewhere, but I looked for two hours and couldn't find it. So I've decided to be the change I want to see in the world and subject all of you to it.

Do you have a red-hot take that you know most people wouldn't agree with, but are still absolutely willing to fight for it? This is the place where it belongs. Let's pit them against each other in a fight for validation!

Whatever submissions the randomiser picks, no matter what they are, will fill out the rest of the bracket. No re-rolls.

After that, all of the matchups will be shuffled again, so the resulting bracket will be completely random. No seeding, no creator bias.

Tumblr Poll Tournaments & MCYT

So a while ago I made a post expressing my frustration with the way a lot of tumblr poll tournaments seem to exclude mcyt characters- or if they are included, people in the notes are rude about it. The first situation of these- the poll organizer including rules against submitting characters from mcyt- is something I can easily quantify. I've crunched some numbers in order to find out two things:

How common is this phenomenon, really?

Why does this happen in the first place?

A note before I start: I'm not blaming the poll organizers for this, and I don't want anyone to get angry at them for excluding mcyt. At the end of the day, it's up to them to curate what they want their poll to be, and if they don't want to deal with the toxicity that often comes with letting mcyt characters run (or if they just don't like it for whatever reason), that's their decision. Trust me- poll organizers have to put up with a lot of shit already, and I don't want to add to it, regardless of their opinions on mcyt. If any poll organizers recognize their own words in the later part of this overview, they can contact me and I'll remove it. This is also why I have chosen not to identify the blogs from which I took the examples- I mean no harm to any poll organizer. They are a symptom of a much larger problem and they haven't done anything wrong except be a little misinformed at worst.

Excluding mcyt characters from poll tournaments really isn't that big of a deal on its own- though it is frustrating- but it does speak to the larger attitude of the general tumblr population towards mcyt. While not without its flaws, this can be used as a metric to measure the extent of this attitude and maybe get a hint of why it exists.

...Please note, also, that most of these polls date back to around March-June 2023, when poll tournaments were a big thing on Tumblr. Not super outdated, but I still should note that opinions might have changed since then.

Also also, be warned that there are examples below of some organizers being pretty toxic! It's not a whole lot, but if you don't want to expose yourself to that, maybe pass on this post!

With that out of the way, let's get started.

Part One: The Numbers

The first thing I decided to do was figure out a rough percentage of how many poll tournaments have a rule that excludes mcyt characters from being submitted. To get a sample batch of poll blogs, I used one of the blogs that pits the winners of tournaments against each other and checked each blog included in that. This ended up being a more tedious process than I had thought, since there's a lot of variation in the way poll organizers, well, organize. I ended up with 123 blogs sorted into three categories.

The first category included tournaments where a rule for or against mcyt characters wouldn't really make sense, for a variety of reasons. Most commonly, the tournament was between letters of the alphabet or animo acids or government agencies, not fictional characters, so I counted them out. There were also a handful of blogs where the contestants were determined by the organizer, not by nomination at all. Combined, blogs that did not fit my criteria made up 60/123 of my samples.

The second and third categories were the blogs that either had a rule against mcyt characters, or didn't. Most of the blogs I looked through had rules I could find, and some were more thorough about it than others. For my purposes, I counted the blog as a no only if they explicitly had a rule against mcyt characters, or clarified later that they weren't allowed. Most poll blogs didn't mention mcyt at all. (This will become relevant later.)

Of the 63 blogs that fit my criteria, 11 (17.5%) of them had a rule against mcyt characters, while the remaining 52 (82.5%) did not.

To me, this seems like pretty good news! I had honestly expected the percentage of blogs that excluded mcyt to be much higher. This is definitely a good sign! But I wouldn't really jump to assuming that mcyt characters would actually be accepted in all of these blogs. I will explain this in the next part of my research.

Part Two: The Examples

The second thing I wanted to find out with this research was why organizers end up having rules against mcyt in the first place. Is it just the bad reputation the mcyt space has (largely a result of one green man in particular)? Let's look at a few examples of poll rules against mcyt characters. Some of them are from my sample blogs and some of them aren't.

Type 1: Not understanding the difference between real people and characters in mcyt

The majority of the rules against mcyt I saw were of this type, and honestly, it's pretty reasonable. It's a pretty major debate in the mcyt community over whether mcyts' characters are separate enough from their content creators to count as fictional. However, there are a considerable number of mcyt characters who are explicitly stated to be different from their cc in the same way as a character in a movie played by an actor is different from the actor playing them. Excluding all mcyt characters for being 'real people' is just incorrect, though I can kinda understand where the organizers were coming from with this one.

It should also be noted that the vast majority of poll blogs had a rule against submitting real people. There's a possibility that some poll organizers might have lumped mcyt characters as real people even if they didn't specify it explicitly. Therefore, an attempt to actually submit an mcyt character into one of these tournaments might be against the rules based on what the organizer thinks. I have no way to quantify this, which is why I said earlier that the results of my initial test might not be accurate.

Type 2: 'Problematic fandom' (toxicity warning for some of these)

This type of rule is usually broader than just mcyt, but lumps it in with other fandoms known for being associated with bigotry (often hp, which is... yeah i'm definitely not going to argue in favor of harry potter but yikes. really? we're as bad as terfy potter? really.) At least one of them let dsmp characters in with the exception of dream, which is a lot fairer than... some of the others.

If we want to give the organizers benefit of the doubt here, we can say that these rules are made to keep the poll less toxic than it would be otherwise... but to be perfectly honest, some of these might be more about that phenomenon of purity culture that has had a habit of popping up in fandom spaces since forever. That's a whole other conversation I'm not ready to have now, but it comes as no surprise to me that mcyt has become a little taboo in some places (likely to a large extent because of dream and all the drama he's generated). There's also no telling whether the poll organizers in these cases even know that there are other smps besides dsmp... but that's besides the point, since there are other dsmp characters that aren't associated with dream at all. Excluding them reveals a misconception about the mcyt genre anyway. And of course, I think we can all agree that some of these are just pretty rude.

Which brings us to our conclusion.

I feel like a lot of the toxicity towards mcyt as a genre and mcyt characters boils down to people either not really understanding what mcyt is (i.e. mcyt -> minecraft youtubers -> real people) or hearing stuff about dream and assuming the entire mcyt space is reflective of that. Of course, it's a frustrating issue that some people think this way. I think it's nice to be reminded, though, that this sort of thing isn't very widespread. Alongside the bad examples, I saw a lot of organizers confronting their preconceived notions: one organizer let in an mcyt character after admitting their 'unfamiliarity with the source material', another allowed mcyt characters 'on the condition that you can explain how they are a separate character' and a few others fiercely defended mcyt characters against toxicity in their polls. Every day we grow as a community and we can't let a few people with misguided notions of what we are keep us down. Keep watching, keep creating, and as Zedaph once said, It's okay to be silly!

What the hell is this?

This is a Round Robin style tournament where all the ships on the Batpham Community Server (represented on Tumblr at @batpham-discord-highlights) shipping spreadsheet; excluding the ghosts, miscellaneous, and platonic ships sections for brevity!

That's a lot of ships, how will this be managed?

Indeed it is, it's more than 230 ships in competition and many more excluded! I'm going to be breaking up the ships into sections based on the organization of the spreadsheet (linked and explained here), Batpham Ships, Young Justice Ships, Teen Titans Ships, Justice League Ships, Rogue/Villain Ships, Cursed Ships, and Poly Ships.

These will be run as individual groups of varying size and at the end the winners will be pitted against each other to find the Ultimate Winner!

How long will each round last?

Each round will last a Day, and the largest section, Batpham Ships, will be split into two first rounds one right after another for ease of voting.

Why are some sections excluded?

Even with some parts cut out, the ships on the spreadsheet are almost too much for this project. The Ghost and Miscellaneous sections were cut from the running due to being sparsely populated, but the Platonic section was removed for being platonic. This is a Round-Robin of romantic ships for now, but maybe in the future I'll include this section. (Also, Tumblr only has so many colors you can make text and I wanted each section to be distinct.)

the story of how dean completely accidentally becomes the top dog of their prison block and how winner somewhat accidentally becomes his bitch

I'm making this a space prison AU because thinking about real prison just makes me sad dfkgdfgd

setting-wise this is inspired by The Salvation Gambit but garbled because I'm going off of memory of having read it once.

Background plot-wise, things are similar to Pit Babe, just, you know, space-ified. Babe champions a local star-system racing circuit, Tony deals in interstellar human trafficking (I'm going with "special alpha powers are a human thing"), Kenta is an android (I have so many thoughts about android Kenta to share later), and Dean and Winner are on the same shuttle, post-series, getting shipped off to the nearest prison planet. Winner spends the entire trip bragging about how his family is sooo wealthy, he'll get a retrial and be out of there in no time, and "maybe if you kiss my boots I'll think about helping you out." Which just pisses Dean off, but whatever.

But, there's an unexpected change of plans, and their shuttle gets hijacked by a massive, unsanctioned prison ship run by a sentient, megalomaniacal AI that views itself as the prisoners' god of redemption. They're not just prisoners now, they're captives, and nobody ever escapes this ship. Not that this is going to stop them from trying—they're both pilots after all. They're each given a "welcome kit" and then dropped into a hallway where they're immediately jumped by a trio of scavengers. Winner, as always, cowers after a single hit, but Dean—he may be small, he may be new, but he's angry and he's willing to hurt people, and he fights them off until they're rescued by another, friendlier group.

They get taken to this group’s quadrant for the night, and they’re given the recruitment speech, "we grow our own fresh food, we've got weapons," but they've also got boring rules that Winner isn't interested in living by. And if these people are desperate enough to recruit newbies, it means there's bound to be better things elsewhere in the ship. Dean on the other hand is a little taken-in by being pampered and told what an asset he'd be, and he's a little annoyed by Winner's assumption that Dean would just follow him wherever. Especially when Dean is starting to realize he could actually take Winner in a fight, so who actually needs who here? They argue, Winner storms off, and then Dean has a "goddamnit" moment of realizing this ship is bigger than he can even fathom, and the only familiar face onboard is about to disappear, possibly for good. And Winner is a better pilot than him, which still makes him Dean's best chance of ever seeing daylight again. They need each other. So he grabs what he can from the little room they'd been set up in and sulks off after Winner.

From there, the two of them make their way through the different quadrants of the ship, trying to learn the ins-and-outs so they can hatch their escape plan. They get a change of clothes that removes the "fresh meat" target on their backs. They have a "and there was only one blanket" moment on one of the colder levels. And they never cease to be amazed at just how expansive the ship is, and what kind of life people have built for themselves after having been trapped here for generations. They visit a market on a central level that has live music going on—the loud and pulsing sort that gets Dean stripping his jacket off and joining the crowd of dancers because he's been desperate to let loose. Winner prowls along the edge of the crowd, until he gives in to the heated looks that Dean keeps shooting his way and joins him in a dance that's mostly just the two of them grinding their hips against each other. And then there’s Dean grabbing Winner by the wrist and dragging him off to somewhere more private.

Winner is big and good at giving mean looks that intimidate most people, but Dean's the real scary one (he will bite your fingers off). Their goal is finding people who would be useful in figuring out an escape plan, but they end up amassing a small gang of recent intakes, and they hole up in one of the surveillance dead-zones of the ship. And Dean has never felt more useful or needed. The thing is, Winner still has family on the outside. He has something to lose if they never make it out of here. But Dean has already lost everything, and sometimes the thought that he might never see X-Hunter again is almost a relief. Like he doesn't have to face up to the past. He wonders if it would really be so bad to stay. But all it takes is a "No wonder you're such a shitty racer if you'd give up on it before you even got started," to remind Dean that they're still in a prison, and there's things on the outside that he wants to do. But he still gives Winner the cold shoulder for a whole day after that comment.

One last thing is Winner does eventually grow the tiniest spine and attack someone when they try carrying Dean off during a fight because he panics at the thought of something happening to Dean. Of course this is immediately followed up by a show of emotional constipation and “Maybe don’t be such a dead weight next time,” because it is still Winner.

1. Why is so-and-so character not there?

Mostly bc I felt they weren't that major of a character, even if they were toa-only characters. for example, the campers in THO. Paolo, Damian, Chiara, all of em are great characters, but they dont rlly play a super major role. some exceptions i can think to this would be Connor Stoll, who i didnt include bc he's just not thought about as much with regards to toa, but rather more to pjo instead. I didn't include percy bc if i did everyone would just vote for him regardless, which would skew things up quite a bit. another exception is agamethus, who should've definitely been here, except for the fact that i completely forgot to add him 💔 sorry king, you're the winner in my heart

2. Why is there going to be a poll against three different characters instead of just two in the bracket?

Bc im bad at math and didnt take into consideration that 40 characters wouldnt make a perfect even poll </3 also idk how to make a functional bracket

3. Why is this character against this one? It feels too skewed/too random

"So, when is the next chapter due?" asked Mx Tech, their vizor looking up from the victim currently writhing under the touches of their devices, affording Awase no respite. "I haven't gotten to go yet."

The seven auction winners stood pretty much side by side, if such a thing could be said for undefined essences, in front of an equal number of metallic contraptions shaped like an X. At the intersection of each was a naked hero, arms from the elbow up fully encased in the padded protrusions of the upper portion of their X, mirroring, for most of them, their situation from the knees down. A monitor above each of the heroes' heads displayed their most sensitive spots and recommended methods of torment.

At the farthest left of the line, Yosetsu Awase endured his tickling with an expression that resembled shock, though his wide-open mouth and the laughter pouring out of it betrayed the hysteria that Mx Tech was successfully extracting. Under their influence, the lower half of the contraption had spawned several insect-like appendages that ran up and down his legs, focusing on his thighs, which would have been hard to bear even if it hadn't been combined with the stimulation unleashed by the upper portion, prodding appendages sharing the coveted space of his armpits and ribs with furiously spinning brushes.

Though leaking from the tongue-like devices applied to his nipples, Awase's manhood was unattended, clear droplets painting a modernist piece on the ground as he twisted uselessly. And he was possibly the least ticklish of the bunch.

"Oh, how I love meaty hunks," chanted the mascotte-like, contorting abomination, their bright colors strongly contrasting with the shadowy nature of many of their associates. "Meaty, meaty. "Not now," hissed Mx Mob as Bakugo's hands scratched at Monoma's inner thighs just before blowing yet another raspberry into the bellybutton of the defeated, humiliated hero, all protests tickled out of him by Mx Mob with sadistic expertise.

"You are broken? Already?" they teased as if they hadn't honed in on the blond's worst spots right away. "Even he lasted longer," lied Mx Mob, referring to their current disguise, "and he's even more ticklish. How ticklish, you ask?"

A hidden hatch in the top half of the restraints whirred open to bare Monoma's palm, which Mx Mob leapt to touch.

"This ticklish," they declared before finally giving the blond's thighs a break... only to savagely attack his ribs, now several times more ticklish as Monoma's Quirk replaced his sensitivity with Bakugo's; and Monoma, who thought he'd hit his ceiling, shrieked once again, and with even more vigor.

"Forsooth," confirmed the behemoth from behind the two heroes. "A sequel is also in the works."

As they were often wont to do, the two tall figures shared their spoils, so they could each focus on their favorite spots on two auctionees at once. "Mine old friend, I fear the airy monkey's knees are longing for your attention; after all they are his second Achilles' heel, while his soles are but his third."

"All in good time," reassured Mx Glove as they focused on Tsuburaba's arches and Shinso's heels, relishing in the simultaneous gasp torn out of both, which overlapped with Mirio's choked one; moments later, Lemillion's booming laughter resounded above all others once again as the two tails focused exclusively on extracting every ounce of ticklish agony from his spent cock, the claws also resuming their cruelest motions to make the most of the post-climax sensitivity.

"They are nearly done," chimed Mx Fluff from next to Mirio's ear. "The truth is, even though he really likes our three auctionees, he's stuck, and he doesn't understand why."

CONTESTANT PAIRINGS

an overwhelming majority of 80% wanted me to randomise the contestants' pairings in the brackets so this is what i have:

(i know some of the pairings like yuki-muku, guy-citron, and azami-sakyo look too coincidental (the fact that they're all consecutive too wtf??) but i promise i really did randomise it I HAVE PROOF)

(look there's no way i could've come up with chikage vs omi or homare vs juza on my own so pls believe me 😭)

basically for round 3 on each side, there'll be 3 guys going up against each other. based on the results of this poll, i'll put the 3 guys in a poll together, then take the 2 guys with the most votes and pit them against each other in round 4 aka the semi-finals to determine who will go on to the finals. this will be standard across all the categories that have all 24 lads.

as for hAve A greAt trip, since there were only 20 guys in that event i've decided to shuffle everyone again. the pairings:

this might be a little confusing (i've never despised odd numbers so much till creating the brackets for this tournament) so i'll do my best to explain

for round 2, there will be 3 guys in the red circle going up against each other (do NOT judge my circles i did my best with my mouse). i'll take the 2 guys with the most votes from the red circle and pit them against the winner from the blue circle. this will result in the 3 guys in the green circle. once more, i will take the 2 guys with the most votes from the green circle and pit them against each other in the finals (in yellow).

To survive in the realities of honkai you need to be smart and strong. Either doubly smart or doubly strong. No other way. From birth, Mobius realized that strength was not her forte. She had to be very smart and also cunning. From early childhood, she observed people, studied behavioral reactions, drew conclusions and honed her skills, which had already been given a name, but which Mobius did not even know about. On her own, she became a mentalist—a master at controlling thoughts and behavior. That's why she survived without her parents or anyone else.

Having started working in Mantis, Mobius not only did not forget her skill, which had helped her more than once in difficult situations, but also began to improve it. Due to the experiments on her body, she became even weaker physically, but the smaller her body was, the greater her manipulation skills. Although the Flame Followers were smarter than the people Mobius had met before, many of them were much more trusting in life.

Mobius was still proud of how, even during her student days, she pitted two arrogant fellow students against each other who stole her course project and set about implementing it, without indicating her as the author of the theory. All that had to be done was to play on the complexes of one, substituting the other. Elizabeth was very worried about being overweight and tried her best to disguise it. Beauty standards, fuck them! In the end, the university does not like students whose photographs would be embarrassing to print on wall newspapers and honor boards. Therefore, Elizabeth was angry at anyone who was prettier or smarter than her (or both at once). But she endured her friend Rika: nevertheless, they worked together on a stolen project. Mobius played their quarrel like clockwork. I only spoke to each one a couple of times. Then she reassured Elisabeth that Rika wasn't putting any subtext into the phrases "you've got a THICK folder again", "which one of us will get all the HARD work", "our invention will be WIDE distributed". And the final chord, on Elizabeth's birthday, she sent two cakes to the laboratory of fellow students, with the signature that one was for the birthday girl personally, and the other for the guests. Mobius was not present in person, but there were rumors that Elizabeth got so mad at Rika that she beat her partner and pushed her down the stairs.

Mobius has always been the winner, to one degree or another. It was a little difficult for her to influence MEI, due to the peculiarities of her psyche: either because of different views, or because of different fates, but even she was able to fool her, convincing her that it was her idea to take Mobius into Mantis ...

And when Mobius started working with Vill-V, she did not hesitate to use her tricks to get what she wanted from her partner. Vill-V, despite not knowing any of its members before Praying Mantis, also proved to be suggestible and easily manipulated. The perfect guinea pig.

Mobius had two favorite and spectacular ways to convince Vee to do what she wanted: a coin and rock-paper-scissors. And if everything was clear with the game - Mobius had a lot of practice, and she never lost - then with a coin it was much more interesting.

- If the eagle, then do it my way! - Mobius once said for the first time after another long argument, taking out her lucky gear.

She threw it up. And, of course, an eagle fell out. And next time. And again, and again. So it was in every conflict, when neither wanted to yield to the other.

- Yes, you are always lucky! Not fair! Vill-V pouted. - Let's do it the other way around? If it's tails, then I'll have to go talk to MEI about funding, and if it's heads, will you go?

“No problem,” Mobius agreed without haggling, putting her hand in her pocket and pulling out her other special coin: already with two tails, and not with two heads.

Well, when, after some time, Vill-V nevertheless suspected that Mobius was somehow cheating, she, without a twinge of conscience, gave her partner a completely ordinary coin for verification. Vee never revealed the secret...

Unbeknownst to herself, Vil-V was a constant test subject for Mobius training, especially when they lived on a laboratory-home-lab schedule for weeks, and there was no time to go, for example, to the cafeteria nearby. There, Mobius usually only played pranks. She pulled out reports from the folders of some inventors and put them in others. She changed food on a tray in front of the checkout, and sometimes she managed to draw obscenities on someone else's mashed potatoes with ketchup and enjoyed the embarrassment and ridiculous mumbling of the one she was playing a joke on. She “borrowed” wallets to put in notes with some cipher without a code: let the scientists break their brains - and returned the wallet to its place ... But in recent weeks, all the energy of Mobius fell on Vill-V alone.

In addition, breeding Vee was a kind of “reset” for Mobius, otherwise her brain would simply stop generating ideas and making calculations correctly. There were proven techniques that worked flawlessly, there were experimental techniques during which Mobius had to focus on the focus completely.

- With you? - Mobius clarified, and V nodded. - Well, from time to time.

Mobius raised her wrist to her eyes in a dramatic way and looked at the dial of the other person's watch on her hand. It took Will-Wee a few seconds before she realized that something was wrong.

- My watch! When did you take them off? I didn't even notice!

“That's what skill is all about. If you noticed, what would be the magic then? Mobius smiled enigmatically.

According to the plan, she also wanted to lead Vill-V by the nose, taking her tools right out of her hands, which would end up in the most unpredictable places. Play with her words so that she gives out a couple of her shameful secrets. But by and large, these tricks could be postponed until another day, when the research again “freezes”.

The DMP Favourite Character Polls/Tournament - Explained

so i went FAR too long forgetting i have the power to run polls and so i'm gonna run some polls on this blog for shits and giggles. I have plans to devolve into shitpost hell later but to START we're gonna run a genuine serious favourite character poll! now, while there are definitely enough characters if we throw in minor characters to run a full tournament i really don't have the time to organize that so we're gonna do something more simplified and streamlined instead! each set of polls will be run for one day, so get voting! the final round i may extend to a week we'll see idk yet lol

FIRST, there will be 4 polls with 3 of them having 4 sets of main characters, organized by season! The final of these 4 will include MG, CG and the Black Stars, since it didn't feel fair to only include some of the gods but also I didn't know where the hell to stick charlie and oz otherwise. i think this is fair since the black stars are pretty minor characters in terms of screen time, so having their own separate poll would probably lead to them dominating the finals since they'd be quartered off.

SECOND, i will take the TOP TWO results of each poll and pit them against each other in 2 more sets of 4 character polls, probably balancing between first and second picks in each one so one isn't overloaded with number ones.

THIRD, I'll take the top two of THOSE and put them as 2 sets of 2v2 polls and take the 2 winners of THAT to make the final round

Essentially this is to streamline the tournament style process while accommodating for the weird balance of characters in DMP and also to cut down on time because i am so busy lmaoooo i need to fit this whole thing within a few days and less polls to make

BUT all you need to do is vote for your favs on each poll that comes out! and we'll see what the collective DMP fans' consensus is on their favourite characters!!
