So funny story, I'm doing this coaching program through my work at the moment, and one of the exercises she had us do was fill out this sheet of things like, 'what makes me unique', and 'what do I like about my appearance' and 'what am I good at'; and man is it weird to like inherently recognize that you are Not Shit at something, but it's another challenge altogether to articulate that in a way that doesn't feel like a humble-brag. But it's important that we do acknowledge our competencies and celebrate them with ourselves! SO to the point! I do well with characterizations and infusing that personality into dialog, and making the voices ring clear. And perhaps especially with characters with vibrant personalities.

💖 What made you start writing?

Aw man, I've been telling stories my whole life. My mother has this horrendous home movie (yes, on VHS) of me reciting some epic tale of Santa and his reindeer when I was like, four. It is INVOLVED. But I started writing regularly after the first time I read Anne of Green Gables. Because if Anne could do it, so could I; she starts a story club with her friends, and so I started one with my friends too.

😬 Which of your fics would you be most horrified for friends, family, or coworkers to stumble upon?

Ahahaha, well. My husband and friends know that I write it, and they know my internet handle, but I don't believe they've ever sought it out. They are also vaguely aware that I had a very popular fic for a time in the FMA fandom. I also got interviewed once about an old RP profile after Cursed Child came out, because the character's name was the same as the one in the play, and I shared that shit on Facebook because it was hilarious. I don't have anything associated with my profile that I'm necessarily reluctant to have them see, but I think they would harass the ever-loving shit out of me until the end of time if they read the old HP series a friend (who they also know) and I wrote in university, called The Order of Weed. It's ridiculous, for the record, so; the harassing would be deserved. If my coworkers find it all, well. I hope they enjoy the smut.

hi, i’m interested in a period piece type roleplay (it’s fandomless but could be based on shows ex: anne of green gables, downtown abbey, little house on the prairie, merlin) with me playing the young female role and my partner (you as in whoever) playing an older man or female love interest (okay with both mxf and or fxf). 🕊️ and 🍪 plots and or ideas are acceptable so don’t be shy. with kinks, i’m pretty much open to anything other than scat and water sports. i’m 22 so only 20 and over inquiries. my time zone is cst and i do have a job so replies won’t always be quick but i will try whenever it isn’t an off day of mine to get you a reply or at least communicate with you so you don’t assume i just up and left you. i’m not asking for a novel-type reply but you know at least be above five sentences so i’m working with something and we will be roleplaying on discord. we can flesh out our characters as we roleplay. if this is something you’re interested in please like and i will try my best to get back to you.

14. Are there other characters you drew inspo. from for your muse?

🌻🍯 OOC. I don't ever mean to be so vague with this response, but my answer remains the same no matter when this question is asked: I draw inspiration for Ari from many, many places & characters. I'm often inspired by accurate portrayals / depictions of children—specifically mannerisms & language—& there is an endless list of films, shows, & books worth mentioning. recently, I've been pulling a lot of inspiration from ANNE SHIRLEY from the Anne of Green Gables books, as well as the recent adaptation of the story on Netflix 😊 Lilo from Lilo & Stitch & Agnes from Despicable Me are a couple of other examples from where I've pulled ! I have to be careful when doing this, though, for I worry greatly about pulling too much from other characters that Ari is no longer herself — I do my best to keep her original 🌱

some of her characteristics are also inspired from the people I've met / that I value in my life. examples of this include some of her habits & a few of the names she gives her animal friends !
