Its funny how the second bonnie was being recongized for her power, we get a bunch of “powerful” white witches IN FUCKING NEW ORLEANS OF ALL PLACES??? (really julie if you wanted to pick a location with magical background use salem mass, oh wait then you might have to include mentions of the bennetts if you actually recall s1 dialogue actually how is there no mention of bennetts in one of the biggest witch communities esp since the supernatural talk)

Dahlia and Freya- dahlia immortality spell is legit the worse spell in the game. Wydm you’re only live life awake for 10years and you physically age. The fact that the magic was building up between them and her/freya most powerful moments were them linked… i dont find her all that impressive first how much knowledge can you retain of magic something that everychanging in one year, realistically even if you were powerful you would have no expertise. Might i mention that dahlia and her whole coven couldn’t protect themselves from humans, and esther couldn’t or wouldnt stop/neutralize mikael from being an abuser. I doubt their descendants have much magic

Do you think Finn would have treated Marcel more kindly than any of the rest of the Mikaelsons?

Tbh, yes and no I think Finn & Marcel would’ve taken some time to be friends.

Marcel is still similar to Klaus/Elijah in how he behaves towards people & values those who are loyal to him vice-versa. Marcel’s approach is different you treat people well and they’ll respect you back. However, Marcel is arrogant and enjoys being a vampire, getting his hands dirty. Finn wouldn’t admire that in Marcel really since he doesn’t enjoy those qualities in his own siblings. Both are outcasted and seen as villainous by the Mikaelsons so I can see them getting along there. Marcel would still be on defense with Finn since he is a Mikaelson at the end of the day. Same applies with Finn since Marcel has that Klaus/Elijah mentality. I could see Marcel trying to understand why Finn hates immortality so much as someone who does value his immortality. Marcel would probably show Finn the fun-side to vampirism. I do think if Finn was around when it came down Marcel vs. The Mikaelsons, he would’ve stood on Marcel’s side or played a part in setting them up. You would think Kol would’ve been on Marcel’s side since Freya&Elijah sacrificed his girlfriend but….Finn did enjoy the things he did with Freya, i think the big part is making sure Finn feels valued same with Marcel.

That being said even if Marcel/ Finn had varying opinions & fell out. I don’t see Finn acting the way his family did. Like throwing Marcel’s slavery in arguments or going on about how he was never family, a mistake etc etc...(Klaus,Elijah,Kol..) Not considering him family or a friend or valuable period (Hayley & Freya…)

Saying that Freya doesn’t deserve criticism for situations she actively participated in and putting all the blame on the other siblings, when she herself is no better than them, is hilarious. Firstly, both her and Elijah willingly sacrificed a child to save their own and showed no remorse. Viewed Marcel as the enemy and even made it clear that she wouldn’t hesitate to kill him to protect family. Even though Marcel was family himself, but as we know with all the Mikaelsons besides Klaus and Hope, that if you’re not blood, you don’t matter.

She kidnapped and tortured a Keelin, her Stockholm Syndrome victim, and refused to let her go even when they had enough of her venom, all in the name of paranoia. She was willing to let Hope bind her werewolf and agreed with Hope to place the Hollow back into her, not once thinking how that could have been a death sentence for her niece. She was enabling a desperate teenager’s terrible choices that could have completely destroyed her. Stated how Hope didn’t need her innocence. Even though Freya herself understood what it was like to lose her childhood, but she didn’t care.

Not to mention, Hope became a second thought once Freya had the prospects of starting a family of her own and completely abandoned Hope along with the rest of the Mikaelsons. So yes, while Freya may not have done as many atrocities as her siblings, she’s still done actions that are allowed to be criticized, rightfully so.

Friendly reminder that Marcel had every right to do what he did in the TO S3 finale. It was a culmination of everything bad the Mikaelsons did to him. Starting with Klaus being a shit father (fight me) and ending with Freya and Elijah sacrificing Davina, and was further justified by Elijah killing him.

They each killed their bodyguards and due to this,they activated their werewolf gene and then used their newly-gained werewolf abilities to attack the vampires,including Elijah Mikaelson resulting in the majority of the vampire community of New Orleans dying from werewolf bites,Francesca also handed the still-pregnant Hayley over to the witches in exchange for the moonlight stones, as the witches were intent to sacrifice Hayley and her part-witch daughter on their Ancestors's orders.

After gaining the moonlight stones,Francesca and her brothers,along with their Crescent wolf ally,Oliver,leveraged their new physical power into more political power over the city and gained control over the supernatural factions of the French Quarter.

During the four month time jump,the Guerrera werewolves had been controlling the city.Under their rule,any vampire who entered the French Quarter was to be killed on sight, and the pack had made an alliance with the witches,led by Cassie Harrison(who was possessed by Ástríðr Mikaelson),who had agreed to make the wolves more moonlight rings.Taking advantage of the fact that their own moonlight rings weakened Klaus during every full moon,Francesca and her family/pack decided to seek out the white oak stake and kill the Originals once and for all, not knowing that Klaus and Elijah, with help from Hayley, Marcel, Joe and Josh, had their own plans to strike back once the full moon hit its apex.Francesca sent her lackeys to the Mikaelson compound to subdue Klaus,where Hayley and Elijah killed every werewolf(except for Oliver)who invaded their home.Meanwhile Klaus went to the Guerrera mansion,where he proceeded to kill all of the Guerrera's wolves and Francesca's brothers,which include Carlos.

But as Klaus killed everyone else in the home,he checked the last open room to see nothing but a room for a little boy and with pictures of Carlos and Isabella with pictures of Marcos as a baby before he died.He left as he was reminded of Hope and giving her up to keep her safe.But unknown to him,Isabella and Santiago,Marcos's personal bodyguard stood in the room with her son in her arms.As Santiago pulled a gun at Klaus,Isabella stopped him before he vamped away.Meanwhile Francesca,fearing for her life, fled before Klaus could kill her,only to be attacked and killed by Hayley on the road as she was fleeing town.

A few days later,Santiago and Isabella was able to find Francesca and buried them in their St.Ailbhe Cemetery but before they left,she found a femur bone in Benito's grave with a old note that spoke of the Guerrera's guarding the bone since their family were known as the Navarro Family before the survivors changed their names to the Guerreras to escape Klaus Mikaelson's fury in the 1700s and that bone was one of the keys to a great evil buried in New Orleans called the Hollow.

After the funeral and taking her son to New York City,Isabella married Santiago after falling in love with him and Marcos took his mom's name as he grew up amongst his mother's pack.

But as they dragged their injured bodies into the woods,they were soon found by a redheaded woman named Eve Bloom.She asked them if they wanted to be strong enough to avenge their family and they both consented to her question.Without a spilt second,Eve sired them as they died to their injuries.

After completing the transition,Eve helped get their family cremated and decided to mentor them after Aya Al-Rashid offered to recruit them into the Strix,since they wanted to kill the one murdered their family,Elijah Mikaelson.

I find it weird when people don't admit the Mikaelson are lowkey racists and that they keep dismissing and treating people who don't share their blood like shit.

Like, Klaus mocked his adoptive son whip wounds and they all lived in the plantation where Marcel lived as a slave, not to talk about the way Elijah was always talking him down and how Freya and Kol acted with his existence: she didn't give a damn about him, suggesting they should kill him and Kol probably was just jealous, if I'm being honest, but my point still remains. And after Elijah killed Marcel, Hayley had the nerve to act as if he wasn't as important as Hope (of course, the biological white daughter she shares with Klaus) and then they proceded to fuck after hearing him confess his blame.

Like, what the hell? I don't think the Mikaelson are the kind of people who actually insult you based in your skin color, but they never failed to act as white saviors and to play the victim whenever someone tried to kill them, as if they hadn't made absolutely everyone completely miserable.

as I’m reading fanfics once again to fix what canon broke, I’m thinking-

when Hope jumped into Malivore, it took away all the memories about her from everyone. and once they came back, we see her and Freya reunite.

why on Earth- did the next episode not start by a scene in Alaric’s office, where whole ass Mikaelson bloodline stands at one side of his table, yelling their lungs out?? like besides it being ON POINT for them, it’d be fucking hilarious.

just imagine a bunch of mad parents. but it’s Mikaelsons. so it’s 10 times worse. and Alaric is just sitting there, absolutely defeated. while Hope stands in the corner, trying to seem neutral and at the start to calm her overprotective family down, but at the end of the day she couldn’t be happier to see them all again, fighting on her behalf.

I’m not naive I was never expecting the Mikaelson’s raising a child to be easy or not drama-filled. I was expecting plenty of issues. A family that has lived for a thousand years and accumulated plenty of enemies was never going to have it easy with a helpless baby around! The last time that family had someone young around them was their brother. Who they rarely mentioned in TO.

I get Freya and Hayley were new compared to Klaus/Elijah/Rebekah & later Kol. They had to build foundations for them and this is no way I’m blaming Freya/Hayley but the writing(cause I know how some of y’all think lmao.) In return Hayley is the best mom-werewolf queen and fighter ever! Freya is the selfless witch for her family! Now, again I DO believe the Mikaelson’s would’ve fucked up at points. Plenty of times actually because who can say they were “perfect” at being family…nobody lol. But, question proposes again why introduce the magical baby that we can all agree doesn’t make sense. If Klaus or any of the Mikaelsons that was propped up into this plot prior to Hayley or Freya etc etc if only timeline wise was going to give them 2-3 years with Hope in total span of 5 seasons that stretched over 15 years of Hope’s life.

Klaus reason for creating hybrids was because he didn’t want to feel alone. Rebekah at that time of TVD was the only one who caught on. Hope would’ve finally been his chance at not feeling alone and yet Hayley spends more time parenting than Klaus ever does. Now, who was expecting perfection? Nobody, but why is he NEVER with Hope vice-versa. Hayley had more time as a parent and even a werewolf. TO completely ignored Klaus’ werewolf side and only showed us his biological father for one episode? They didn’t so shit but allow Hayley to suck up all the development and storylines in that regard. Then have characters such as Freya or Declan/Hayley’s boyfriend throw in Klaus’ face repeatedly throughout s5 of TO how Klaus is never around as that’s his fault. Yeah, Klaus could’ve contacted Hope for sure but physically being there would’ve went against the whole point of separating the Hallow. Even then if the writers wanted to break the rule for Klaus and Elijah then they could’ve done so for Hope. Instead, Hayley’s constantly held as the better parent/option. Mind you Hayley herself continued to bounce back and forth with her thoughts on the Mikaelsons..

Now despite all of this we could’ve been praising Marcel and the Mikaelsons as a family but the plot constantly is racist towards Marcel.(often inflicted by Elijah…) Typically his feelings towards the Mikaelsons become ignored due to his relationship with Rebekah.

I have zero issues with Hope but most fans that do have problems with her. ONLY find issues with DRR!Hope they never have animosity towards the baby-child Hope. Yes some fans hate the baby plot and that’s okay! I’m not referring to those fans I’m talking about the ones who suddenly go on this tangent that Hope has always been the issue in her family. She’s spoiled, bratty, entitled etc etc all because she dared to have feelings about how her family treated her and went drastic measures to see her dad. It shouldn’t have taken Hayley’s death for Hope to finally say she feels apart of the family. She spent most of her years alone with Hayley and clearly while she’s love Hayley, it simply wasn’t enough. Period. I do think Hayley shouldn’t have had to die for this be understood by her family but atp oh well. I don’t see an issue in fans wanting to see the Mikaelson outside of Freya & Hayley spend time with Hope or watch her grow up lol. The narrative that LGCS ruined all of the Mikaelson’s characters is false. Hope called it out that no one would care for her if Klaus died. Which is very true. the idea that katherine would make a good mikaelson is kind of laughable because she is so genuinely fundamentally against. like 90% of what the mikaelsons stand for.

they’re all backstabbers so she has that going for her but at the end of the day they will pull through for each other while katherine has never been loyal to anyone for more than like 45 minutes on a good day

this one is especially for if she’s a mikaelson via elijah but she will not risk her life for klaus or rebekah for a damn second nor would she stand around and let elijah do it and the idea that elijah’s going to Let Her stop him from helping his siblings if they need it is laughable

she’s a habitual liar??? paired with elijah, who is also a fucking liar, there’s just nothing there to build on lmfao their relationship would have crashed and burned if they had actually gotten together if we’re being fr about it. elijah at his core is about family (and also fucked up) and katherine is about herself (and also fucked up)

and i’m not saying any of this is a fault on katherine’s part that’s just how she is and i don’t see how anyone can convince themselves that her being with elijah, and therefore regularly in klaus’ life, would make her any less flighty or sneaky at all. do you REALLY think her being with someone she knows would pick klaus over her would have katherine relaxed or “more herself” (whatever idea of kat y’all tend to have) enough to the point where she and elijah could actually. be happy??? 

the funniest part about it all is that if katherine were to “become a mikaelson” she would be better off with literally any other sibling besides elijah

Potential vs Actual Strength

I hate, hate, HATE, when I see people say Hope is stronger than ANY OF the +1000 witches. 

Like no, she isn’t.

What she is, is a 16-19 year old witch. She can in fact not take on/contain witches with centuries on them. (Proof - the Hollow and her IN-ability to contain her)

Sure, she took on Davina when she was 7, but Davina was also only A) a spirit, and B) no longer a harvest witch. 

Sure, Hope does have the POTENTIAL to be the strongest being on the planet, but maybe when she has a couple more centuries backing her.

So until then, she can NOT take on:

Dahlia

Esther

Silas

Inadu

Qetsiyah

or even Freya 

(and yes, she can’t take on Rebekah either - that whole scene in Legacies was BS, Rebekah could have wiped the floor with her if she wanted to).

So yeah, I kind of feel like Hope’s been overrated/hyped up a little to much, especially considering we really didn’t get to see any of her strength in Legacies season 1-3 (the only one where we really got to see her power was season 4 - but even that didn’t really reach all the hype of: I’m a tribrid and the strongest creature).

Because of that, I really can’t see Hope actually standing against (let alone beating) any of the +1000 characters.

So yeah, she has the potential, but doesn't exactly have the bite to back up her bark against these characters yet.
