I just realised that haven’t posted any whales!  (What would AussiePost do if I posted one?)  Most people get so excited to see a whale blow on the horizon, but for me, they are mainly just big blobs that you see a tiny bit of for a second or two a long way away before popping up again a hundred metres away in a direction you are not watching.  They are truly wonderful animals and people talk about brilliant close encounters, but my passion remains our avian friends.  For what they are worth, here are a few unidentified whales.
