Ooo, with like that piney-smokey-crunchy smell cause there's dead shrub leaves and pine needles mixed together? And the boughs making that whispery shushy sound? LOVE IT.

There was a forest very much like that near my Pop-pop's hunting cabin. It was scrub and bush and birch for like fifty yards and then just this WALL of big pines. I wasn't allowed past the furthest birches because I was very small at the time, but I always peered in from the edge and I remember the sound and smell of it.

So I read this and immediately had a vivid memory of being eight and wearing a puffy jacket, bent down and squinting through the branches, looking for deer.

I like to hang fabric from my wall or cieling with thumb tacks, if you have some silky/flowy/tattered Green or brown fabric on cieling that could be fun

Im sure u like nature and mybe have collections of things from natures?get bowls or jars! store and display ur fun things....Bowls of moss bones crystals etc super good 

Everything on the floor (including ur bed)

Hang pieces of pine and cedar etc from the ceiling on strings

Keep plants/succulents (plant in unconventional containers like coffee pots and mugs and boots (make sure u put rocks in the bottom for drainage if u use weird containers)

Posters and print outs of forests, animals etc

Feathers on the wall

Wall hangings with wood and green wool and feathers and stuff (diy wall hanging example) just use cool green or mossy looking/fuzzy wool! hang feathers and bells and things u find in nature in it!!!

Press flowers and leaves and use these to decorate posters and things on ur wall

Mushroom lights??? or buy them

A hammock in ur room would be like #goals

Shower curtain of a forest/valley meadow on your wall? My old roommate had one like this (link)

Weird Knick knacks and pottery from the thrift store of frogs mushrooms mythical creatures and fairies and stuff

In fact if u have fairy ornaments and can hang them on the cieling or off walls it would be so cool

I get long wreaths of plastic leaves or ivy and just pin them around the room and off shelves and stuff i get them from thrift stores but here is a smilar product 

Clutter is cute imo

If u have outdoor scavenger gear like a cool backpack or clippers or a field not book have those gave a special spot in ur room >:)

Terrariums me fremd

Cut and put up pages of botany and nature books from long ago from thriftsores !! or buybotany posters online

what is it that you dont like abt the genderfluid flag??

I mean, from a design perspective it’s quite boring. No symbols or emblems mean that it readily blends in with many other, similar flags. However, it both pre-dates the palette flag problem and doesn’t use multiple shades of the same colour, so it’s not bad, as such. It’s perfectly serviceable!

But, I hate it. I think it’s fucking hideous. The pink and the purple are too similar so they clash, and then the navy and the black are too similar so they clash, so it manages to clash with itself twice, which is frankly so impressive Iw ould almost think it was a purposeful commentary on the way gender fluidity clashes with the concept of gender identity as a whole, except nope, it’s just fuckin’ ugly.

Which, hey, if you (or anyone else) likes it, that’s whatever. People fucking love the Maryland flag, and it’s, in no uncertain terms, the most horrific eyesore in history.

By far, the one thing that defines a Good Flag is whether the people it represents like it. So, you know, my one singular opinion means fuck all, because the genderfluid community as a whole has accepted to flag into our identity.

@autisticnightfury not all people with celiac will react to wheat containing products on the skin, but some do, which is why gf skincare exists.

I have a friend who does not have a wheat allergy (like I do), they are purely celiac disease, but even just handling wheat or wheat containing products will cover their hands in lesions. So they don’t quite get the “fngh glutened” feeling/pain but they do still get a reaction which according to their skin prick test (boy those are fun) they shouldn’t be having.

It really depends on your individual sensitivities, and also maybe if you have a compromised skin barrier (as a lot of people with autoimmune problems can develop due to inflammation) which will make you more prone to topical reactions to irritants anyway.

So it’s not a hard and fast rule for everyone, health and reactions are always going to be dependent on your own unique issues. But it’s something to be aware of if you do have celiac and are perhaps using a soap or a cleanser that might contain it, and if maybe you put your hands to your mouth without realizing, and then spend the rest of the day wondering how you could have possibly gotten glutened when you’ve eaten nothing with wheat in it.

Cause that took me a long ass time to realize our hand soap had wheat byproduct in it, so I was contaminating my food every time I washed my hands. So that was fun.
