If you’re a surfer🏄‍♀️, then you know Teahupo’o (pronounced correctly tē-ah-hoo-po-o) known as the most dangerous wave in the world. One female athlete I admire, Keala Kennelly @kealakennelly - undisputed female pro, queen of Teahupoo - almost got her face ripped off from surfing Teahupo’o years ago. That was a trip she’ll never forget and neither would anyone! Teahupo’o is unique in the world — Its unique shape, with an effect of almost breaking below sea level, is due to the specific shape of the reef beneath the wave. Its semi circular nature, which drops down sharply creates a 'below water' effect and the extreme angles in descent create an instant instability to the wave. A steep wall of reef causes the entire mass to fold onto a scalloped semi circle breaking arc So as an alternative to risking your own life while checking out Teahupo’o, Tahiti, French Polynesia 🇵🇫, Hannah @hannahahsha is demonstrating for you here how to ride the wave very easily and even have time to capture yourself riding it!! Lol Joke aside, Teahupo’o has become quite the tourist attraction but be prepared when you go, bring sunscreen, binoculars, and your towels, otherwise you’ll be disappointed - those waves break at the reef and the lagoon separates you from it by about half a mile. So just watch it from the safety of the shore with binoculars 😁 . . Michael Cuddyer

Cuddyer is a 15-year MLB veteran and two-time All-Star, spending his career playing for the Minnesota Twins, Colorado Rockies and the New York Mets. A member of the USA Baseball 18U National Team in 1996 and 1997, Cuddyer was then named the 1997 Virginia Player of the Year, Gatorade National Player of the Year, and was a member of USA Today's All-Star team. He was selected ninth overall in the 1997 MLB Amateur Player Draft by the Minnesota Twins.

Dave Ellis

Dave Ellis, RD, CSCS is a veteran Sports RD with over three decades of experiencing working at the highest level of sports. Dave was the first president of the Collegiate and Professional Sports RDs Association (CPSDA) and is currently CPSDA's Ambassador over all matter Food and Supplement Security related. Dave is also the Consulting Registered Dietitian for MLB/MLBPA and USA Baseball.

Darren Fenster

Fenster currently serves as the Manager for the Portland Sea Dogs, the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, and in 2012 he launched Coaching Your Kids LLC, an organization dedicated to assisting coaches, parents and leagues in developing young players and improving their experience within the game. Fenster is a two-time All-America from Rutgers University where he established school records in hits, doubles and at-bats. He was selected in the 12th round of the 2000 MLB Amateur Draft by the Kansas City Royals and played in the minor leagues for seven years.

Dr. Peter Gorman

Dr. Peter Gorman is widely referred to as the developer of heart rate monitor technology and owns seven major patents in the United States and Canada. He was named President of Microgate USA in 2010 and became an adjunct professor at the University of Bridgeport Chiropractic College in 2012. He later joined CourtSense, developing innovative and logical progression that helps athletes attain symmetry and better coordination. Dr. Gorman has previous experience working with the United States Military, as well as sports leagues and franchises around the world including those associated with Major League Baseball, FIFA, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, and the United States Olympic Committee.

Dean Jordan

Dean Jordan is the Managing Executive of Global Sports Properties and Media for Wasserman, an international sports and entertainment media, marketing, and management firm. He has led the company's engagements for clients such as the College Football Playoff, the NCAA, the ACC, USGA, NASCAR, multiple professional franchises, venues, and private investors. He has served in executive positions within the Pittsburgh Pirates and Florida Marlins organizations and later founded North Carolina Development Baseball, Inc., an organization proving highly skilled athletes the opportunity to develop their skills and play at an elite level regardless of financial need.

Skip Schumaker

A two-time World Series Champion, Schumaker was drafted in the fifth round of the 2001 MLB Amateur Player Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals following his career at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition to his two World Series titles, Schumaker was a member of the USA Baseball 2006 Olympic Qualifying team that won a gold medal in Cuba and secured a spot in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Anne Shadle, Ph.D.

Dr. Anne Shadle is a certified consultant in Sport Psychology CC-AASP and is a member of the United States Olympic Committee's Sport Psychology registry. She also serves on the Athlete Advisory Committee for USA Track and Field (USATF) and currently is the President-appointed committee chair for Psychological Services for USATF. She is heavily involved with coaching education and certification for the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) and USATF. Shadle received her Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Sciences from the University of Nebraska, where she also ran track and field. She was a two-time National Champion in the mile and 1500 meter distances before going on to run professionally for Reebok and compete in the 2008 Olympic Trials.

Tom Succow

Tom Succow, currently in his 40th and final season as Head Baseball Coach at Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona, has accumulated over 700 wins during his tenure, as well as a state championship in 2006 and three state runner-up honors in 1982, 2007 and 2012. Succow is a four-time USA Baseball coaching alum, including an assistant coaching position with the 2003 16U National Team, which won the gold medal in the International Baseball Federation AA World Youth Championships in Taiwan. Succow was honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) as National Coach of the Year in 2007 and is a member of three Halls of Fames, being inducted into the Arizona Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2003, the Brophy Hall of Fame in 2007 and the National High School Baseball Coaches Association (BCA) Hall of Fame in 2013.

John Torine

Jon Torine spent 15 years as a strength and conditioning coach in the NFL before leading the physical education and athletic development for Functional Movement Systems. He also works on youth development at Legacy Global Sports and serves as a trainer and workshop instructor for the Positive Coaching Alliance. Continuing his work within the NFL, Torine was named the Director of Pro/Elite Sports with EXOS, an NFL Player's Trust Program.

Dave Turgeon

Turgeon is the Coordinator of Instruction for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Turgeon played in the New York Yankees farm system from 1987-1990 under Stump Merrill and Buck Showalter after being drafted out of Davidson College. Before playing for the Baltimore Orioles' AAA affiliate in 1998 he spent eight years playing abroad. From 2000-2001 Turgeon began coaching in the Cleveland Indians organization before entering the college ranks where he coached with Boston College, the University of Connecticut, Duke University and Virginia Tech.

Even the drive up to the top was filled with spectacular surprises. Dancing around in the grass and watching the sunset with her husband & friends here was the perfect end to a perfect day! . . Did you know? Mount Tantalus (Puu-ohia) is an extinct cinder cone in the southern Koʻolau Range on the Hawaiian Island of Oʻahu. It also has a summit crater, Tantalus Crater. The cinder cone formed after the demise of Koʻolau Volcano, during a time of rejuvenated-stage volcanism in southeastern Oʻahu that also formed Punchbowl Crater, Diamond Head and Koko Head as part of the Honolulu Volcanics.
