Steak for dinner tonight. Not dining out tonight. Instead eating onboard! Four gorgeous local rump steaks marinading in my bruschetta topping mix of, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper and lots of olive oil. The best olive oil to use in my opinion is Filippo Berio Italian olive oil. Leave them to marinade for as long as you like in the fridge. But about half an hour before you want to cook them take them out of the fridge and bring to room temperature. Some of my neat estate sale finds this weekend. This is a iddke that I s placed over the burners. Joe has super been wanting LG a griddle on the stove for the boat (and has missed one in the #rv) but they take a lot of space when built in, the new ones I also worry aren't large enough to actually make use of. Back in my own kitchen today. It was great cooking in a boat yesterday but it brought its challenges.
