Bobo

This man does not take the actual physical act of racing seriously, he just looooveeess the attention and spotlight. He loves casually flriting with anyone and everyone, drinking in the applause and casually sipping on wine and talking about his hometown in France. He's very social and outgoing, a romantic, always seen smiling and enjoying whatever he's doing.

Coco

Coco takes racing very seriously, and takes her rank very seriously. She is very haughty and not only thinks she's better than the other nationals, but thinks she's better than other types of rolling stock simply because she's an engine. She keeps a very serious air about her, but can get flustered very easily.

StEx Appreciation Month Day 29: Favourite Characters

Rusty Okay, so I think it goes without saying that Rusty is my favourite character ever. He had so many obstacles to overcome and he didn't give up! He did it! He won the race and I love him so much for that! (Also, yes I know Electra, GB and CB crashing helped Rusty win but still!). Espresso & Bobo I just think they're both so fun and they were the characters who slowly lead me to loving all the nationals! It started off with me headcanoning Espresso as Rusty's cousin and also shipping him with Bobo... and now I love them!

Dustin Dustin was actually my favourite character when I first joined the fandom. I love him because he is genuinely one of the sweetest characters in the show! Like he just radiates positive energy and I just know that he would be an amazing friend and give amazing hugs! Buffy I would argue that she's my favourite coach in the show and I miss her so much despite loving Carrie and Belle. I love her relationships with the coaches and just love seeing them together! Also she's so beautiful! Ruhrgold I love Ruhrgold so much... it started off with me shipping him with Rusty as a joke.... but then I actually fell in love with the ship and with Ruhrgold too lol! He's so fun to watch in the show and have definitely caught myself watching him in the background of scenes.

unfortunately as they got older pressure was put on him and coco to become racing engines which caused them to get extremely competitive, and that caused a lot of damage to his relationship with his sister. he wants to reconcile with her but they’re both incredibly stubborn and too proud to admit either of them were wrong

Headcanon A: Realistic

VERY flirty. He would probably flirt with a brick wall if you drew some tits on it. He flirts and hits on coaches in the yard in French, which the girls tend to drool over. He once got slapped by Greaseball for even looking in the direction of Dinah. Sometimes he ends up “accidentally”flirting with Expresso because of his long hair, same with BV. BV— he may or may not have enjoyed it a little too much…

Headcanon B: While it may not be realistic it is hilarious

Sometimes CoCo is accidentally interpreted as his girlfriend. CoCo is more of a sister to him than a lover. He tends to protect her with all his heart and shoots bad looks at any of the engines who try anything. CoCo claims that she can defend herself, (which she can, strong independent woman, we love her) BoBo still swears on his life to protect her at all costs.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

He’s often seen as a creep to the others on the racetrack. This is due to his flirty nature. He has been hit on multiple occasions by Greaseball and Electra for looking at Dinah and the components, which he doesn’t try to do on purpose. He sometimes just ends up zoning out and can’t control where he’s looking. He also gets called a weirdo for the food he cooks, which is authentic French cuisine. (snails, froglegs, horse, etc…)

Headcanon D: Unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own

He’s really good at piano! He has learned how to play every Phantom of The Opera song and tends to get mad when people ask him to play Piano Man by Billy Joel. (it’s asked for too much) He also tends to uh… take out his anger out on the piano too. Random key smashing can be heard from his shed a lot. Sometimes the nationals get a little…well concerned about his anger issues.
