Rescue Bots HCs

Note: been watching rescue bots over the past couple months and thought id get back into writing w some headcanons!

They all love the movie Big Hero Six (all meaning the bots and whole burns family)

Blades 100% has a tumblr acc

And letterboxd (gives VERY thorough reviews)

One time Heatwave and Kade had a competition on who could call each other the stupidest nickname without breaking

Heatwave lost LMAO

Kade's an older brother, he's gonna be the king of stupid nicknames

Boulder loves the Sound of Music film

Him and Blades are the only ones who like musicals

Heatwave and Chase don't hate them, they jst don't rly care for them

Heatwave loves the avengers movies

Chase watches a lot of detective/crime films but he also reads just as many books about them

The Burns family has a bunch of photos of them all together on the fridge 

Graham loves sci-fi films

Blades absolutely HATES any movie where a dog dies

If he could he would be sobbing his optics out

Boulder sometimes wishes he were smaller/human so he could volunteer to take care of wild life or just be out in nature without scaring smaller creatures

He also loves the Planet Earth documentaries

Frankie and Cody loooove space documentaries and plan a movie night once in a while with the bots

Dani's always had short hair, long hair just always got in the way

Okay, can we all talk about how Chase is as aggressive as Heatwave or if not more aggressive?

Like yea, Heatwave has anger issues and all that which makes him more firey and willing to fight; but Chase is willing to throw hands at the drop of a hat too!

He just throws that landscaper like it's nothing, and proceeded to say "You will not be constipated for any damages."

Like get it Chase, but settle down tad bit.

Like in the next episode his immediately thrown hands again with rocks!

S01, Ep03

Same stance as heatwave! Just a higher fist and more like turned into the punch, he knows how to deck someone if needed!

Also he pulled up so fast in this scene in the same episode he wanted a chase(haha), he was willing and ready to go!

There are so many more scenes of Chase willing to fight anything; if It's deemed a threat his going toe to toe with it.

What are your headcanons for your holoforms of the Rescue Bots?

I have a few different headcanons for my holoforms! Just remember these are my own personal opinions, you don't have to agree 100% with them

I am going to be more specifically talking about my Cyberaligned lore, but these can also translate to general headcanons

The Holoform Headcanons

Age

So I have talked about my headcanons for their Cybertronians ages before, but these are what those ages translate to in human terms the holoforms more often then not will resemble their respective ages

Heatwave: 25

Chase: 24

Blades: 35

Boulder: 23-24

Side characters

Quickshadow: 25

Blurr: 19

Salvage: 20

Hightide: 55

Holoform Races

These are the races and ethnicities that holoforms appear as.

Heatwave: Yaqui mixed

Chase: Japanese

Blades: Indian and Black

Boulder: Samoan and Black

Side characters

Quickshadow: British and Korean

Blurr: White

Salvage: Black

Hightide: Scottish

Pronouns

What human pronouns the bots have chosen to use.

Heatwave: He/Him but doesn't care too much

Chase: He/They

Blades: They/She/He depends on mood

Heights

The heights the holoforms generally appear at. They have control over the height of their holoforms as well as other physical features.

Heatwave: 6'2

Scars

The damages they received in bot forms will appear on their holoforms.

Heatwave: Fire burn scar from training covering his back.

Chase: Minor scars from rescues. Lichtenberg scars equivalent, caused by both his outlier ability (electricity) and being STUCK BY LIGHTNING

Blades: Rescue related scars. And specifically to Cyberaligned, their shadow play scars are the most prominent scars, but they have several more from their time in the war.

Boulder: Minor rescue related scars

Side characters

Quickshadow: Many scars from the war. Has a large one crossing over her forehead and temple area.

Blurr: Some scars from rescue missions. In Cyberaligned has a prosthetic left arm from his time with M.E.C.H., as well as scars revealing the dissection he went through

Salvage: Has scars from their encounter with M.E.C.H. in Cyberaligned, however was saved early on and did not suffer much.

Hightide: Many scars from the war. Most prominent is the one over his face and chest.

Queer Orientations

TBH, Cybertronians are genetically asexual and do not have genders. But this is just fun stuff I like to think of for if they were actually humans

Heatwave: Biromantic (fem preferred)

Chase: PanAegoromantic or Cupioromantic for RB, but for Cyberaligned it is hard to categorize him within the Aro identity due to lore.

Blades: Homoromantic (aka GAY AS FUC-)

Boulder: Demi-romantic Gay

Side characters

Quickshadow: Biromantic (equal preference for fem and masc)

Blurr: Biromantic (no real preference for a certain gender)

Salvage: Homoromantic

Hightide: Apothiromantic (though does not have a strong repulsive urge)

Disabilities

Both mental and physical disabilities are included here. I did as much research as possible and only used disabilities I am knowledgeable in for this.

Heatwave: Generalized anxiety. Some back problems in Cyberaligned as he used to work in the mines

Chase: Autism

Blades: PTSD, Autism, ADHD, generalized anxiety, depression

Boulder: While he doesn't have anything right now, if he were to remain within his caste he would have self image issues similar to Bulkhead as well as muscle issues as I have him in the construction caste

Side characters

Quickshadow: PTSD, bipolar depression

Blurr: ADHD. In Cyberaligned has a prosthetic/replacement left arm and PTSD

Salvage: Generalized anxiety and PTSD symptoms after M.E.C.H. encounter

Hightide: PTSD, depression, generalized anxiety

I do have some updated art of their holoforms coming out at some point, I have been busy with zines though so I have not been able to work on it. But soon y'all will see their updated looks!

Miracubots: Miraculous Holders (Bots)

New day new post, and yup, if you read to the end of the last part you where probably looking forward to this XD

As this is an alternate version of season 4, the invasion where the Bot's finally reveal themselves, doesn't occur meaning the Bot's are having to hide longer with the family bluffing that the bots where upgraded with a 'Defence mode' to cover up when the bots work to help deal with an Akuma attack.

Though, things can't stay secret forever, especally not with a villain who target's negitive emotion, and some bots who are less able to express themselves freely.

The reveal to the town that the bots are alive, happens when Heatwave reaches a breaking point with Kade's glory hog ways (Which he'd been slipping back into just a bit, especally after he got to use a Miraculous) And he ends up becoming the first Bot Akumatized.

This has pretty much everyone reeling as the bots and the Burns family had started to assume the Bots being alien where immune to Akumatization. But the revelation gives Cody an idea.

If a bot can be Akumatized, surely they can wield a Miraculous as well. And with a little nudge from a Luck charm on which to pick. Boulder is chosen to use the Pig Miraculous becoming Porcine Punch. The name was off the top of his head and he likes it too much to change it.

Porcine Punch with help from Beetletron and Felidae is able to stop Glory Hog in his tracks and calm him down with the use of his Gift to be deakumatized.

Two things about the Bot's as Miraculous holders:

Their altmodes change when their transformed to the animal of their Miraculous with their root form adjusting to the new altmode.

They may use different names as heros, but there's no secret identities going on, everyones knows who's who in regards to the bots. As Cody points out when giving Boulder his Miraculous infront of his brothers, people will figure it out within five minutes so why both trying to hide it.

Sadly the next Bot picked to become a Miraculous holder happens because of another Bot getting Akumatized as well. This time Poor Chase, struggling silently after the public reveal and getting treated poorly by a few towns folk struggling with the transition, becomes the horrorfying Akuma Emperata.

IDW fans are now screaming at me for inflicting that on Chase.

Heatwave this time is the one entrusted with a Miraculous becoming the Hero Tigereye with the....Well Tiger Miraculous. He also get's let in on Chief being Ranger as Beetletron asks his father for help as well to get them past the army Emperata is creating.

He's not even the only Bot to find out a humans secret ahead of the mass reveal as Blades accidentally reveals Dani revealed she's Hornet to him when their both called on to deal with a replicating Akuma. Hornet to sting the clones and keep them still. And Kitsune the new Fox hero to use his illusions to control and confuse the clones.

Blades is BEYOND happy to finally have a grounded alt mode.

Last but not least of the Bots to get a Miraculous is Chase, we haven't fully settled on the events surrounding when he get's it. But Chase out of the four arguabley get's the most powerful as he's entrusted with the Snake Miraculous becoming Aposis at Sass's suggestion for his hero name,

The Rescue Heros and Their Bots

Graham & Boulder ~ Graham and Boulder still have a very good bond besides Boulder being at the academy most of the time. Graham makes sure to keep in touch with the bot whenever he can.

Kade & Heatwave ~ These two are still bickering still to this very day. They have been getting along better, though the fights still happen once in a while. Even if they wouldn't confess it, both Kade and Heatwave are lucky to have each other in their lifes.

Cody & Chase ~ After Chef's death, Cody's bond with Chase has been growing stronger each day. In fact, Chase had become a somewhat like father figuer to the youngest Burns family member.

Dani & Blades ~ While their bond has become a bit stranded, these two are still good friends and hold the same amount of respect for each other. Blades even made sure to contact Dani once a day whenever he at the academy.

Mr. Rudio & Blurr ~ While the bot was unsure about his human partner at first. The two quickly became friends weeks later. Both Justin and Blurr enjoy each other company. Though the kids haven't met the bot yet, Blurr had gotten used to Mrs. Rubio has a close bond with her.

Hayley & Quickshadow ~ These two became good friends very fast after they first met. Hayley and Quickshadow usually teach each other about both of their different cultures, among other things. If there is one thing that Hayley still can't get over of is that she is friends with a bot that is undercover as a notable car from a spy film franchise.

Skip & Salvage ~ While Skip has a way to go for clearing up his name, he is grateful for Salvage's friendship. While the human is teaching the bot about Earth and the living things on the planet. Scobble had found himself learning more from the bot he was partnered up with. He was grateful for the bond he had gained with the rescue bot over these last few months.

Y’all I just woke up from a Transformers themed dream and it was WILD

TF Content Masterpost

To start off, Starscream realized he had a crush on a another decepticon name Jetstorm. Jetstorm owned his own brand of… something I don’t exactly remember what.

Either way, Starscream, not knowing how to handle his feelings, sent Jetstorm and everything that was a part of his brand to Griffin Rock.

Cut over to Griffin Rock, this takes place during their very first week on Earth, so they don’t know much about human culture.

While Blades, Heatwave, and the whole Burns family deal with Jetstorm, Chase and Boulder stay at home, learning more about Earth.

Boulder is sad because he had an animal he was observing but it went missing in the firehouse and to help him feel better, Chase went down to the beach, collected a bunch of crabs, and accidentally let them loose

Eventually the squad finishes dealing with Jetstorm and come back home, only to find there are crabs EVERYWHERE.

That’s what I remember of the dream. Crabs, and Starscream being gay and sending his crush away

My little headcanons about the rescue bots, just the bots though.

-Heatwave is very physical bot, but struggles to portray it positively.

-Blades is fully aware of this and uses it to his advantage.

-Boulder actually struggles to understand some of Graham's homework; why? He doesn't understand written human language fully.

-Chase doesn't like being touched very often, or at least by others he doesn't know well.

-Blurr found that out the hard way.

-Salvage and Boulder hang out, Boulder painting little sculptures Salvage has made.

-Quickshadow and Heatwave have friendly brawls at the end of every other month.

-Chase knows every language, human and cybertronian.

-Heatwave can control the pressure of water that's comes out his of fists, but not the hose.

-Blades drags the bots to movie nights, despite heavy protests from the others.

-Boulder loves to ramble about plants and animals, he knows all of them.

-Chase when flustered, surprised, or shocked turns on his lights and sirens on instinct.

-Heatwave does the same thing, but just his lights.

Boulder was referring to the ghost sitting on the couch, a white monoformer who had multiple sets of white wings. There was a big circular hole in her chest, but she didn't seem to notice it. The object that brought on the haunting, a busted up collar and chain, a conjunx medal tied to the collar with a purple scrap of fabric. The medal was from a minor Decepticon commander, the inscription describing her as his "remarkable creature"

"Go on. I promise, we will listen. "Boulder said, sitting on the floor next to the bot.

"By the time my sire abandoned me, they were all mad." The bot sobbed. "Damascus was the worst. First i was sent to - to a holding place to go to that lab, that wretched place. Locked in dirty cell, then shoved in a cattle car, barely any energon-" the bot choked. "Then he came by with some big autobot prisoners he wanted to be used in a combiner experiment. He - he saw me there, started asking the warden questions about me." The bot shuffled her wings. "If i had an alt mode, if my plating really was made of frosted glass. He took me from the cell block, brought me into a side room and i saw him smile when i screamed. When he broke my wrist for the crime of existence."

Blades let out a soft hum, the bot quieting as she absorbed the calming sound. "You are safe here. Just talk, i will splint that arm of yours. This might hurt, but i will make it quick." He said, pulling everything out.

The bot looked away. "I'm a weird genetic fluke. I have a disease that made my body eat my paint nanites, making me unable to generate color while making my plating brittle." She admitted, not able to shake the shame that settled in her bones, even after all that time.

Blades set her wrist, the bot whimpering softly before wiping her face with her good hand. "Ow." She choked.

Blades squeezed her good hand, and she squeezed back. "How's that?" Blades asked.

The bot sniffed. "Everything i needed." The sun rose, and the bot collapsed into her spark, flying away.
