FredWina Christmas fluff fic please 🫶🏼
Fredwina at the Christmas market, modern au or Princess Edwina verse (I saw a NatGeo post about European Christmas markets and immediately thought of them)
Oh my goodness I love this!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first holiday season away from her mother and sister was always to be a nerve-wracking prospect. A happy marriage and pregnancy would not even distract Edwina from that.
Friedrich, therefore endeavored to introduce her to a favourite tradition that he had been waiting to show her.
They bundled into the carriage and Edwina, wrapped in her furs, pink coat and fur hat, was eager to know where they were going.
"All in good time, liebling." Friedrich said with a smirk and kissing her gloved hands.
The snow had fallen already across the country, giving the bustling markets the look of a painting. Edwina gasped, pleasantly surprised by the ongoings - the smell of roasting almonds and chestnuts and the chatter of children and families, even as people recognized the royal couple.
"This is beautiful." Edwina whispered to Friedrich, "This is for the Advent season?"
"Oh yes," Friedrich said, "We do things rather differently to the English."
"Well, my Christmas was very different - warmer!" Edwina told him. Her mother being raised Christian meant they had partook in some traditions.
She and Kate would make wreaths with flowers and cardamom and ginger biscuits that their mother showed them how to make. It was perhaps why she had been so homesick. But the atmosphere of the market cheered her up and she kissed her husband on the cheek to thank him.
They first visited the crèche, the nativity scene set up and Edwina could not help but coo as she was shown the child portraying the infant christ.
Then Friedrich took her around the markets. Edwina was glad to see so many handmade gifts that she wished to send to her family abroad - she was unsure of how much she had spent but felt terrible for the footmen carrying the bags!
"So this happens every year?" Edwina asks and he nodded, handing her the gigantic mug of warm apple cider.
"Yes, for hundreds of years." Friedrich confirmed, "I have always enjoyed this, as a boy."
She had some foam upon the top of her lip and he chuckled, using his thumb to wipe it away.
"It is lovely," Edwina compliments the brewer who grins and thanks her.
The remainder of the soft gingerbread and stollen are wrapped in packages for them to enjoy when they returned home to a warm fire and Edwina discovers that she very much enjoyed the Prussian tradition.

Rules: Post the first lines of your last 10 fics posted to AO3. (Sort by date posted.) If you have less than 10 fics posted, post what you have! Make a new post.
1. Poppies (Pomona Sprout/Poppy Pomfrey)
The late August sun filtered through the glass, warming the humid air of the greenhouse. Even with the doors open at both ends to catch a breeze, it was too hot. Sweat beaded Pomona Sprout's brow and ran down her sides under her robes as she consulted her smudged list.
2. Monster Girls (Olympe Maxime/Apolline Delacour)
The stables at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic were airy and spacious. Mountain air mingled with the smoldering, earthy scent of the school's herd of rare Abraxan horses, and the heady fumes of liquor that rose from their troughs. Olympe Maxime loved them more than anywhere else on Earth. That was where she went when she needed to cry.
3. Both Or Neither (Dean Thomas/Seamus Finnigan)
Dean leaned on the stone railing of the bridge, snowflakes swirling around him, catching and melting slowly on the wool of his winter coat. In the distance, the great doors of Hogwarts Castle opened, and bundled-up students began to stream out, hastening down the snowy path toward Hogsmeade, where the Hogwarts Express waited to take them home for the winter holidays.
4. An Accident of the Stars (Lavender Brown/Parvati Patil)
Lavender Brown had expected to feel a lot of things when the war was done. The euphoria of victory. Relief that it was over. Fierce pride in herself and her friends for the part they had played in defeating Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Excitement for the future. Now the war was over, and so was everything else. Lavender lay in her bed, staring up at the ceiling and trying very hard to feel nothing at all.
5. Healing Hands (Pomona Sprout/Poppy Pomfrey)
Professor Pomona Sprout hid a grimace of discomfort. Just because she was not feeling her best did not mean her students needed to know about it. She glanced at her pocket watch. Ten more minutes. Her interminable day was mercifully almost over.
6. Discards: Valentine's Day (Remus Lupin/Sirius Black)
Contentment was a relatively new sensation for Remus Lupin. This was not the first morning he had awoken with a sense of wellbeing; such occasions had become frequent in recent weeks, since he had started spending nights in his boyfriend's bed.
7. All the Things That You're Supposed to Feel (Schitt's Creek: Patrick Brewer/David Rose)
Patrick Brewer smiled and shook his head. He had been smiling since he played back the first voicemail left by David Rose. His amusement only increased with each rambling message, tangent, and explanation of David's plans for the General Store. Now four or five messages deep, Patrick could almost see David's facial expressions and hand gestures as he spoke.
8. No Hands Below the Waist (Schitt's Creek: Patrick Brewer/David Rose)
David was still not sure how it had happened. Patrick wasn't even his type. OK, so he was all right in an unassuming, slightly nerdy, definitely-heterosexual way, but when it came to men, David's tastes had always run to self-assured guys who looked like well-toned lumberjacks, or drama-prone artistic types like himself. Patrick was nothing like that. He was something else entirely.
9. The Sheriff's Wrath (Rowan Hood: Tod/Rook)
The dream was of Rook. That was all Tod remembered. The damp patch spreading across the front of his nightshirt, and the echo of release fading from his loins told the rest. On the other side of the fire pit, his companion lay, still asleep on his pile of sheepskins. The gray pre-dawn light filtering into the small cavern was just enough for Tod to make out the shape of the young outlaw's body.
10. Discards: Commencement (Remus Lupin/Sirius Black)
"Sorry I'm late," said Lily. "Everything seems to take twice as long as usual these days, and then of course I couldn't find anywhere to park."
Sirius gave her a quick hug. "I'm just glad you managed to find me."

St. Louis brewery, Schlafly Beer, releases their newest variety pack, The Weekender.
Tumblr media
Press Release
ST. LOUIS, MO (May 15, 2023) — Schlafly Beer, the original, independent craft brewery in St. Louis, announces the release of a new variety pack, The Weekender. This pack includes a variety of crushable summer beers, thoughtfully bundled with fan favorites and new styles. The Weekender offers two exclusive brews – Hazy Getaway IPA and No Bounds Brown Ale – alongside Schlafly’s year-round Kolsch, and a seasonal favorite, Raspberry Hefeweizen. The 12-pack includes three 12-ounce cans each of the four beers.
“We wanted The Weekender to fully embody the fun and carefree nature of summer and to bring a pack that’s easy to take with you on summer getaways, camping trips, picnics, and trips to the beach. These beers offer a little something for everyone, for instance, Raspberry Hefeweizen is refreshing and fruity –  it’s a great beer for people who don’t think they like craft beer, and the Hazy Getaway IPA offers a lighter take on IPA’s at 110 calories while keeping the juicy hop flavor IPA’s are known for," says Schlafly CEO, Fran Caradonna. “With most of the beers ringing in under 5% ABV, it’s a sessionable selection for summer.”
The Weekender Variety Pack features three 12 oz. cans of each of the four beers, including:
Kolsch (ABV: 4.8%): Done properly and with distinction, this definitive golden ale is fermented with a yeast strain from Koln, Germany - where Kolsch originated. The result is a slightly dry and subtly malty brew with the delicate aroma of an ale and the clean finish of a lager.
No Bounds Brown Ale (ABV: 5.6%): The perfect blend of American and European malts to create notes of caramel, biscuits, and subtle hints of honey and chocolate, balanced with hop bitterness from American Ale yeast, allowing the malts to shine.
Raspberry Hefeweizen (ABV: 4.1%): A true fruit beer - not a fruit-flavored beer, this brew uses real raspberries during primary fermentation. This naturally yields a pink, hazy-colored brew with citrus aromas from the wheat and a desirable flavor that is neat and tart. Low in bitterness and not overwhelmingly sweet, this is our brewer’s summer water.
Hazy Getaway IPA (ABV: 4.0%): At only 110 calories, this golden IPA sways to the lighter side, but is still packed with juicy hop flavors with an unfiltered haze.
The Weekender 12-pack is available across Schlafly’s distribution for $17.99 as well as at Schlafly’s four brewpubs: Schlafly Tap Room in downtown St. Louis, Schlafly Bottleworks in the Maplewood neighborhood of St. Louis, Schlafly Bankside in St. Charles, MO and Schlafly Highland Square in Highland, IL.
About Schlafly Beer: Schlafly Beer, St. Louis’ original independent craft brewery, proudly brews a diverse collection of beers throughout the year. Our brewers use numerous hop varietals, malts, grains, fruits, natural ingredients and yeast strains from around the world to make every Schlafly beer unique. As part of our commitment to sustainability and our communities, we collaborate with local suppliers and neighborhood partners. Schlafly is a go-to across the Midwest and East Coast, and is a staple at countless fine establishments, backyards and basement bars. Join us at The Schlafly Tap Room, Schlafly Bottleworks, Schlafly Bankside and Schlafly Highland Square, as well as on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Well, the dormitory is spotless. Dust-free and orderly, with the laundry folded and dishes put away, and the tile floors scrubbed.
Elegy has been fed and bathed and bundled up in the blanket Scourge and Cyclonus gave her.
Rung fed Megatron’s little canary too, and the pipecleaner shrimp colony, and the crab in the tank on the kitchen counter. He rotated the little dish of crystals Prowl brought so that the other side could get a turn at facing out the window. Set everything out and ready to go for breakfast in the morning, with the titration brewer assembled and gleaming on the table.
He sorted and cleaned and ironed and washed and did everything there was that could possibly be done.
Why does it still feel like he’s yet to earn a break? Or a cube, even?

I wrote some of that love potion fic, experimenting with “excerpt based goals” rather than “wordcount based goals” (in this case it meant that I posted to my fiction channel that if I didn’t post 5 excerpts I’d donate $50 to GiveDirectly) and here’s what I have
1.
Such potions required dangerous ingredients forbidden to him in the abbey. But there were certain laws that dictated when simpler ingredients could substitute for more complex ones. The market in dragon's teeth would be obliterated overnight if every brewer simply had the patience and skill for... but never mind. His mind had been working all day on how he might create such a mind-control potion with only what he had in stock.
It was a solved problem – he had come up, in theory, two different ways to do it, both brews taking over two years to come to fruition. An intellectual puzzle, nothing more. But as he lay awake - absently rubbing his bare calves against the sheets - reviewing those two solutions and willing himself to generate a more elegant third, he suddenly saw a different way those mental pieces could fit together, into... what? –
He followed that chain of thought. It was as if his mind had lifted up and started gliding towards a light.
2.
Pearl dust, rose thorns, peppermint, all standard ingredients in an expanded beginner's kit –
His hair, his memory, a teardrop, a drop of semen –
In theory, just in theory –
He was wide awake, suddenly, heart hammering. A rectangle of moonlight bisected his wide, bare room, and its bright edges throbbed in his vision. He mentally retraced his steps, motionless.
"I may have invented the best love potion in the world," he told that light on the stone.
3.
The clock caught Harry's eye – a little past three. He looked around for the vial, found it on the counter behind him. He uncorked it, preemptively grimacing against the bitterness, and poured it directly on the entrance of his throat, hoping to avoid taste bud contact entirely.
It flowed down his throat, almost flexing his tongue for him into a swallow
!
of that liquid, rich like whiskey... or bone broth concentrate, it was organic, like some expensive and healthy animal had been killed to make it.
Organic, that was the right word, there was something so body-y about the taste that it was reminiscent of sex, or a sick ward. He disbelieved it could be evocative of both even as both notes rang through his body, slowly and exquisitely replaced by a sweet aftertaste: poppy honey lining his esophagus, amazing.
The flavor suffused Harry as he buckled onto the floor. Pain erupted in his knees like a fire alarm going off one house over. He was laughing in amazement because he was a child, watching his mother heal the scrapes on his knees with just her wand. He had seen her use it before, but here, seeing it applied to this his own skin, he was registering with new clarity that his mother lived with one foot outside of this world. He was constantly chasing after her, hungry for her attention, wanting her to turn around and look at him when she spoke back to answer his question. He asked questions because that was what she turned around for the most.
Sidenote: One thing I want for Snape's compressed life narration as he grows up in this story is for him to stop using his own name in his self-narration. when he is a boy, Severus is Severus, and in adulthood he mostly stops using his name for himself – as his desire to name himself in the world, to look at himself, decreases sharply. So he is just ‘he’ in his adult self-narration:
4.
And there was the child, whose existence hung in the distance like a frozen arrow. He knew it was an infant. Yet it was a bundle of nerves and blood and magic that as going grow and become smarter and eventually hate him. It was eerie that this thing would hate him, but didn't yet. He knew he wasn't allowed to hate it back if it didn't hate him. And yet, it was destined to, so was he allowed to hate it back or? The hate tore at him the way it didn't tear at him when aimed was real hateable people. He didn't want to be the kind of person who hated a baby. Babies were stupid and harmless, if annoying – he knew that. There was truly something nonsensical about hating something that couldn't even talk yet. And yet he did. It split him apart.
5.
"You haven't lived like someone who expected an accounting," he said into Snape's ear. "When you defected to Dumbledore, you thought, that was it, Dumbledore was holding you to account. But it wasn't a high bar, right? He expected you to be a low, miserable bully, unable to haul himself out of his depressions? And you fulfilled his expectations for over a decade. Never thinking there would be a more stringent accounting. You bloody fool, you thought your life was over? That the grading was done? That you didn't have to grow, because no one would love you enough to judge you for it in any important way?"
Snape made a kind of whistling noise through his nose, hard.
"I love you," said Harry harshly, "now, and so – you are now being judged again. I am looking at you, oriented to you. There is someone to disappoint."

been wanting to play stardew but i was getting bored of just. doing it normally and trying to get perfection SKFJHSF
so i decided i am going to be. a beekeeper/florist. i use honey a bit in my regular playthrus but it isnt smth i rly grind out until LATE late game when fairy rose honey is like. a Necessity for making money for perfection.
so im going to make a majority of my money thru flowers/honey (and mead later when i get kegs. ONLY mead im not making wine and shit unless its for the brewer’s bundle or smth). ill still sell some fish but i wont take the perk that makes fish cost more money.
i might add fruit trees to it later bc it kinda fits in w bees but idk yet
i also plan on doing a similar challenge but its with fish/fish ponds! a beach fishery heehoo
im excited to try these out

Drider au
The day Wilbur does nom Tommy, he does it with him wrapped up so it's easier but for Tommy it's a million times more frightening because he can't fight back
I'm sorry this took literal months to write ahaha... I loved the idea for a full story, I just had so much trouble writing it out. But it's finally finished! Does anyone even remember this au? Who knows! But it's back!!!
CW: safe, platonic vore; fear of death; mentions of fatal vore (character doesn't know it's safe); accidental fearplay; panic.
NSFW do not interact.
~~~~~
Safe to Sleep
~~~~~
Wilbur rubbed at his face, trying to get rid of the burning sensation behind his eyelids. Each time he blinked, it felt like it took more and more effort to pry his eyes back open again.
The drider had been awake for three days straight now. Each time he started to drift off, he remembered waking up to Tommy's shouting. As always, the little human had been completely incomprehensible, but the terror in his voice was unmistakable.
Wilbur had been stupid enough to think his cave was safe for Tommy. It was safer than the forest outside, but he still hadn't been able to stop the harpy from getting inside. The bird-like monster was harmless to him, barely the size of his hand, but for a human? Tommy was very lucky Wilbur was a light sleeper.
Even with the drider intervening so quickly, Tommy had still gotten scratched a few times. The harpy was crushed with a vengeance, but the little human had been shaking for hours afterwards. Wilbur wanted to scoop him up and tell him everything would be fine. But that would just scare him more, so Wilbur sat and listened to Tommy slowly calming down from his panic.
Wilbur hadn't slept since then, too scared something else he'd missed would get in and hurt the far too fragile human. He'd hold him in his hands while he slept, but he moved too much in his sleep for it to be safe for Tommy. So he just… didn't sleep, keeping his eyes peeled for threats.
It wasn't sustainable. Wilbur was already feeling sick from not sleeping, and he wouldn't be able to protect Tommy if he was exhausted. It wasn't good for Tommy either; he had barely let the human out of the webbing today, too scared he'd run off and Wilbur would be too tired to catch him. The human might understand by now why it was so dangerous to be alone in the forest. But even without speaking, it was obvious Tommy was a stubborn kid. So he stayed in the web.
Wilbur found himself wishing that he was a naga instead of a drider. Nagas had a pouch specifically for their young that was likely safe for humans too. All driders had was a normal stomach, and that was definitely not safe for a human… at least not now. But could it be?
Wilbur sat up straight, exhaustion taking a back seat to the excitement of his idea. He didn't have a pouch like a naga, but Wilbur was a spellcaster, a potion brewer. He knew enough about magic to make 'eating' Tommy completely safe. He'd swallow the human, where he'd be untouchable. Then he could sleep, and still keep Tommy safe!
He stood, scurrying towards his potion storage. As he passed the little bundle of webs where Tommy was kept, he saw the human flinch back slightly. It would probably be better to leave him wrapped in the web while he did this. Wilbur didn't want him to accidentally hurt himself, and it would be a lot easier to swallow him. The quicker he got Tommy to a safe place, the better it would be for both of them.
*****
The drider, Wilbur, had been acting weird ever since that fucking harpy. He barely ate, and he kept watching Tommy with an unnerving intensity. (He tried not to think about the possibility of those things being related.)
Tommy also hadn't seen the drider sleep yet. It had been three days, there was no way he hadn't, but it sure seemed like he was always awake. At the very least, he was awake whenever Tommy was.
When Wilbur suddenly sat up after several hours of staring at a wall, looking like he might fall asleep, Tommy tried not to jump. He couldn't keep himself from flinching as the drider passed him.
He wiggled slightly in the wrapping of webs around him. Like always, he couldn't even change positions, and he pushed down the anxiety that rose up from being so constricted. Maybe the drider was about to let him out for a little bit? It felt like it had been much longer than usual since he got to stretch. And since he attempted to escape.
Tommy wondered if it was even worth it to try to run. He could never be fast enough to outrun a drider a hundred times his size. Even if he did manage to escape, where would he go? The village was gone, or if anything survived it was likely taken over by the raiders. He couldn't stay out in the forest; even while in a drider's cave, under his dubious protection, a harpy had found and almost killed him.
But he couldn't just sit back and accept his fate as… as… a pet? Whatever reason Wilbur was keeping him. He had to at least try. He still wasn't sure if dying while trying to escape was better than living the rest of his life wrapped up in drider webs. At least he'd be alive.
He was still holding out hope that he could eventually convince the drider to let him go. Wilbur clearly didn't understand Common but they'd managed to exchange names. Communication was possible, it was just… going very slowly. Of course, that assumed his captor didn't already have some sinister plan for him.
Tommy jumped as the drider came back into view, muttering something to himself. This combined with the strange behavior he'd noticed was making Tommy feel extremely wary. He couldn't help but shrink back as what he guessed was Wilbur's main pair of eyes settled briefly on him.
The giant drider had something in his hands, he realized. He squinted, trying to get a better look, and realized they were bottles. Potion bottles from the look of things.
Tommy grimaced. Wilbur had already forced a couple of potions down his throat, and he wasn't excited for more. They had helped heal the harpy scratches far quicker than normal, but by the gods they had tasted disgusting.
To his surprise, before reaching out to him, Wilbur downed a potion of his own, grimacing a little at the taste. Though he had no idea what it was for, he was at least glad he wouldn't suffer the nasty taste alone.
Moving far slower than Tommy knew he was capable of, the drider reached out towards him. Tommy tried very hard to control his breathing. He was pretty sure Wilbur was just going to feed him a potion, but his fear of the drider made it hard to remember that. He flinched as a hand- the same hand that had crushed the harpy in a single motion- wrapped around him.

No thoughts just…
A tiny being held gently in a giant's hand. The giant isn't paying attention, just absently holding onto the tiny. The grip is secure, but not restricting. The tiny could climb out if they wanted, but why would they want to? They're surrounded by warmth on all sides. A gentle finger strokes their hair absently. They can feel the steady thump of their friend behind them and hear the rush of breath.
They're safe and loved.

I think something very overlooked about Borrowers is how jacked they have to be.
I mean think about it- they're constantly moving or lifting things far bigger than them, climbing mountain sized furniture, and running or walking huge distances daily.
With access to enough food, any borrower would be ripped.
It's funny to imagine a borrower absolutely shocking their human friend by lifting something that looks way to heavy for them or even by opening a jar the human can't.

My #1 post of 2022
Thinking some very soft g/t thoughts tonight. Mostly about touch, and how gentle it is between a giant and a tiny.
A tiny sitting in a giant's hands, tracing all the lines they see with a feather-light touch. Wrapping their arms around the giant's finger in a hug, or touching their face with a miniscule hand.
And a giant, brushing a finger against their friend's back with utmost care. Gently ruffling the tiny's hair and holding them carefully against their chest.
Just... soft touches and contact. The tiny trusting their friend to hold them, and the giant being so careful not to break that trust.
I'm in love with the gentleness of g/t.

The Ultimate Guide To Starting A Brewery With Auctioned Equipment
Tumblr media
Starting a brewery with auctioned equipment can be a cost-effective way to launch your venture while maintaining quality. However, it requires careful planning and execution to ensure success.
Here's the ultimate guide to help you start a brewery using equipment acquired from auctions:
Conduct Comprehensive Research: Begin by researching the brewery industry, local market demand, and consumer preferences. Identify your target audience, niche, and potential competitors. Additionally, research the types of equipment you'll need, their specifications, and average prices. This groundwork will inform your business strategy and equipment acquisition plan.
Develop a Business Plan: Create a detailed business plan outlining your brewery's vision, mission, target market, products, pricing strategy, marketing plan, and financial projections. Include a section on equipment acquisition, budgeting, and contingency plans. A well-thought-out business plan will serve as a roadmap for your brewery's success and guide your decisions throughout the startup process.
Set a Budget and Equipment Needs: Determine your budget for brewery equipment based on your business plan and financial resources. Identify the essential equipment required for brewing, fermenting, packaging, and serving beer. Prioritize equipment that directly impacts the quality and efficiency of your brewing operations.
Explore Auction Platforms: Research various auction platforms, including online auction websites, industry-specific platforms, and local auction houses. Determine which platforms regularly feature brewery equipment auctions and monitor their listings for relevant items.
Attend Auction Previews: Whenever possible, attend preview sessions to inspect the equipment in person. Assess the condition, functionality, and quality of the items to ensure they meet your brewery's needs and standards.
Strategize Your Bidding Approach: Set a maximum bid for each item based on its value and your budget. Start bidding conservatively and be prepared to walk away if the price exceeds your limit. Consider bundling multiple items or negotiating bulk purchase discounts to maximize cost savings.
Purchase Essential Equipment First: Prioritize acquiring essential equipment for brewing and fermentation, such as brewing kettles, fermentation tanks, and refrigeration units. Allocate your budget strategically to secure the core components needed to start production efficiently.
Factor in Additional Costs: Account for additional expenses beyond equipment purchase, such as transportation, installation, utilities, permits, and renovations. Budgeting for these costs ensures you have the necessary resources to set up and operate your brewery smoothly.
Ensure Equipment Compatibility and Quality: Verify that the auctioned equipment is compatible with your brewery's setup and meets industry standards for quality and safety. Inspect each item thoroughly to identify any defects or maintenance requirements. Investing in reliable equipment will minimize downtime and maintenance costs in the long run.
Plan for Maintenance and Upgrades: Develop a maintenance schedule and budget for routine upkeep and equipment upgrades. Regular maintenance prolongs the lifespan of your brewery equipment and ensures consistent product quality. Allocate funds for future upgrades as your brewery grows and evolves.
Leverage Resources and Expertise: Seek advice from experienced brewers, industry professionals, and equipment suppliers to navigate the startup process effectively. Join brewing associations, attend workshops, and participate in networking events to access valuable insights and support.
Execute Your Business Plan: Put your business plan into action by securing financing, finalizing equipment purchases, setting up your brewery space, and launching your operations. Stay adaptable and responsive to market feedback, and continuously refine your business strategy to achieve long-term success.
Starting a brewery by buying used brewery equipment requires meticulous planning, diligent research, and strategic decision-making. By following this guide and leveraging available resources, you can establish a successful brewery that delivers high-quality beer to satisfied customers.

Hi!
So you said you're a tea snob; I'm curious, what is your preferred tea?
So the tea snob thing started as a joke that I decided to own and be proud of. I drink anything from super cheap bulk buy bagged tea to a loose leaf that was $20 an ounce. Currently I'm living off Tetley's Lord Kensington black tea because of a mistake in shipping (tried to order one box to try, could only order a bundle of three, for sent six by mistake and was allowed to keep them), which is nice because I don't feel bad about having to toss it when I realize I forgot about my cup all day.
Favorite blends tend to be any variety of green tea with jasmine flowers (not scented, must include the flowers), jasmine pearls being my preferred. Black tea with orange peel and spices is great for the winter. Oolong with rose petals. Dragonwell is probably my favorite green so far, though I did have a cup at a shop once that was never identified and I dream about it sometimes, lol.
If I'm feeling fancy, I'll brew some of my "special teas". These are the expensive ones that I only drink on days when I can sit and savor. It includes things like sencha with cherry blossoms, Palais Des Thes Lords Tea (a very nice Earl Gret), my jasmine pearls that came from my favorite tea shop, or the oolong with rose. I have dedicated brewers for herbal and for caffeinated as well as an electric kettle with preset tea settings.
Sorry for the long post, but I do love tea. I'll willing to try anything at doesn't include strawberries or rooibos because of allergy reasons. My mug collection is extensive because of this, as is my tea pot collection that rarely gets used.
