📽 Bride Wars (2009)

I usually like Anne Hathaway, but this one was a miss for me. It’s so contrived. Almost every single thing that happens could be avoided. I really thought I would like this one, but it’s just too bad. It’s not funny, and the pranks they pull on each other are just stupid. I feel like this could’ve worked if it was like high school girls fighting over prom or something like that, but adults fighting over their wedding? Not it.

Sex/nudity: 4/10 (kissing, references to sex, women dressing/dancing/ speaking provocatively)

Language: 2/10 (really not bad, once they said exactly “mother f”, some other mild words)

Violence: 2/10 (slapping, tackling, cat fighting)

Overall rating: 4/10

I really love 27 Dresses 🥹🥹 I’ve loved it from a young age, I thought James Marsden was sooo dreamy (still is) and Katherine Heigl is one of my fav actresses and I just loved all the different bridesmaid dresses! Any type of fashion centric movie I totally ate up when I was young! And even now!

I also love Bride Wars!!! I love Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson together! Chris Pratt literally played himself in this movie 🤧🤧 How Chris Pratt is in this movie is how I imagine Andy Barber to be!! But yeah this one is another one I loved from my childhood, I so enjoyed watching them plan their weddings and their wedding dresses etc.

I remember I used to love What Happens in Vegas when I was younger but then I rewatched it recently and it just… wasn’t that good. Like it was annoying in fact bc Cameron Diaz was so out of Ashton Kutcher’s league in that movie I’m sorry. So yeah not that one but it was worth mentioning.

Omfg My Best Friend’s Wedding! I loved that one and still do! Although when I rewatched it, Julia Roberts was so annoying in that movie and I felt so bad for Cameron Diaz!! But as a kid I was totally on Julia Roberts’s side bahaha.

#also recently I watched just go with it for the first time and I really liked that #OH AND those ones with the huge celebrity casts #‘valentines day’ and ‘new years eve’ etc #I LOVED THOSE SOOOO MUCH GROWING UP!!! #bc I loved all the celeb crossovers #like one had Taylor Swift and Taylor lautner in it #Patrick Dempsey was cheating on or with jennifer garner in one #there was one with a zac efron x Michelle pfieffer pairing #omfg Jake t Austin was in one 😭😭 and his love interest was Abigail Breslin’s #all of these are part of ensemble casts either Valentine’s Day or New Year’s Eve #OMFG and one of my favs was Jessica Biel x Jamie foxx 😭😭😭🩷 #yep I ate those UP fr #anon

Christopher Michael Pratt est né le 21 juin 1979 à Virginia, Minnesota, USA.  Le 9 juillet 2009, Pratt a épousé l'actrice Anna Feris, qu'il a rencontrée sur le tournage de Take Me Home en 2007.  Le couple a un fils, Jack Pratt, né le 21 août 2012.

 La mère de Chris, Kathy Pratt, travaillait dans la chaîne de supermarchés SafeWay, et son père, Dan Pratt, travaillait dans une mine d'or, et un peu plus tard, il a commencé à rénover des maisons.  Chris a passé son enfance et sa jeunesse à Washington, au lycée, il était engagé dans la lutte.
