heey, we never interacted but i really like you as person and u pass me such a comfy vibe like😭 and i really need to vent or else im going insane-

uhhhh im a little lesbian of 20y and in uni, fine. and a curiosity abt my uni: since its a private one, my department gets the same teachers since the 1st year of undergrad which is cool bc they really track our development there BUT i have this teacher (really. really beautiful btw.) who gives biology, cognition, neuropsychology and forensics psychology and she’s also a hard one…her classes are only for those who pay attention, she’s super demanding and a black cat energy (she literally gives nooooooo fucks to anyone). so OFC i had to develop a little crush on her🤠 anywayss months passed, im on my 2nd year now and she still has this HORRIBLE (but i love it) habit of looking at a person’s eyes when explaining something and she really STARES so i was always **giggles and laufs**, but this year i fell into a depressive episode so i stopped going to classes (including hers), i stopped going to her orientation classes and so one day my friend said “she’s worried abt you and she asked me to tell u that she wants an email from u to agree on a time and day to talk to her personally”. i thought i was fucked honestly, but we eventually agreed on a time at her office and turns out the convo was actually nice (i cried my eyes out while she said how worried she was abt me).

after that she was more touchy with me? like when she talked to me after class she always grabbed my arm or put her hand on my shoulder or she talked to me SUPER close AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK specially bc she herself said “if u were a student who didn’t care abt my classes it’d be totally different, but you’re not. i care about you” BUT BRO??? i NEVER saw her act that way with other students, also she doesn’t ask anyone to come to her office-

(i actually thought she hated me bc a while ago she spent MONTHS ignoring my existence💀)

omg this is so funny u say this... one of my best friends always says i give comfort vibes like when im over i always make his place feel really comforting... that's so weird i wonder how it's possible i give the same vibes online.. but anyways im actually really glad that's the kind of vibe i give, cuz i also love this vibe!!! comfort and comforting things are really important to me

if you want to deepen a connection you should talk more about the subject, get her to recommend some interesting things for you to research and study and books to read, so she can start talking to you about things she likes on a personal level, and also this builds off of a good reputation you already have of being an attentive student who is interested in the class!! and ofc she sees you this way already as she has mentioned it

even if platonic (tho the gay panic is so real either way) a good connection with a professor you look up to within a topic you're interested in is a very good connection to have, you will always get something good from it

If you had to do a specialization in psychology, which subfield would you take? Cognitive, I-O, Developmental, Behavioral, Social, Neuropsychology, etc.

I'm thinking about doing a specialization since I want to go in psych field but don't like to treat patients. Interested in I-O but it's corporatism. You are just helping a business first and then employees.Would want to go into research/experimental but salaries are low from what I've read.

Don't wanna go to clinical because not only it will take time but also don't want to treat patients.

I don't know much about behavioral, cognitive, and neuropsychology but you can specialize in cognitive, behavioral, and neuropsych you can also treat patients but mainly it's researching.

Probably forensic since that was my minor. I do still love it and find it incredibly fascinating! Not even just the psychology of criminals, although I definitely love delving into that. But even aside from all that, like the technology of forensics. Theres been such progress in recent years (familial DNA linking database!) and as it tends to, progress is surely only going to accelerate. The ethical debates about things like making visuals/reconstructing crimes to use in court evidence from people's memories, which they already can do btw, just very poorly and inaccurately (a whole new future nightmare). Although it definitely can be tedious and boring af, law is also genuinely interesting to learn about and in theory, the tragedy is that it should work so well. I was really impressed, made me think that it was almost the best thing about humanity/the best thing we've ever created, our finest attempt at genuine fairness and justice so far in human history, except that unfortunately humans were factored in.

But honestly I'm drawn to so many different fields. Early development, abnormal psych as in like clinical/working directly with mental illnesses in patients/clients like Ive done before, experimental/study and research (but I'm absolutely not dedicated enough for that). I even thought about evolutionary- took a class on that once and it was pretty insightful.

I-O is definitely corporatism, although you could probably make good money.

What about academic? Be a professor? Good benefits, summer break.

I'm curious, why are you so reluctant to work directly with patients?

heres ur headcanons souda! i hope u like them, and if u want me to make any changes just remember to let me know! - mod kiibo

- souda was a pretty friendly person, and he always enjoyed having a chance to spend his free time with his friends, whether they be new or old. no matter what, if souda was spending a bit of time with his friends, he always made sure that everyone was enjoying himself and having as much fun as possible, no matter what they were doing

- for instance, souda would make sure to try and do his best to take the subject of marine life and show everyone what exactly made it so interesting for him. even if his friends werent exactly big fans of marine biology, souda would try to make sure that they understood why it appealed to him so much, and this would help some of them develop an interest in it

- even though souda could go on for hours about all the things that he enjoyed, though, he still enjoyed learning more about the talents of his friends and spending time with them, especially if his friends had talents that he didnt know much about. to souda, it was just really interesting to see people his age do things that were incredible

- one way that souda liked to see his friends do amazing things was by watching them work, and this is something that he would do when he spent time with nanami. the two of them would spend time together in her office while she took care of kids, and while nanami made sure they were healthy, souda would make sure they were entertained

- while watching and observing was a good way for souda to learn more about his friends talent, though, he enjoyed to help them with their talents too. he would always try to help ibuki with her designs, and although not everything he suggested or made would end up working out, he was always really proud of everything ibuki kept

- despite the fact that he was a marine biologist, souda enjoyed learning more about other scientific fields (even if he didnt fully understand what was going on), so he found it pretty interesting whenever he would talk to tsumiki about forensic psychology and the mindsets of criminals, even if it was a little scary for him to listen to

- speaking of things that were scary to him, souda was absolutely scared of akanes talent, just due to the fact that it implied that she spent a good deal of time with people who he would assume were dangerous. still, theres something about her talent that souda also finds interesting

- souda was always trying to find things to do that all of his friends would enjoy to do together, even if their interests didnt always align completely. still, after a bit of time he started to learn that just being himself and trying to show his friends some of his favorite activities and genuinely having fun was pretty important, too

- of course, one of soudas favorite things do with with his friends was to turn on documentaries about deep sea life, and although he found it to be really interesting, most of his friends only watched to make him happy (and even then, akane ended up falling asleep about halfway through the documentary). still, souda had fun watching it with them

- even though they might all have differing interests, souda and his friends are always there for each other when they most need it. although they might try to hide their problems from each other, at the end of the day they all know that theyre there for each other. soudas really grateful to have such amazing friends by his side

I’m 21 and go by he/him pronouns.

For appearance, I have a black and neon green split dyed undercut but I hope to go back to blonde soon. Thick brows, green eyes and I wear aviator style glasses. I’m 5’9, chubby and tatted as well. My style is a bit more on the casual side of punk and goth(kind of a mix ig), but I love experimenting with clothing as well as makeup. (Can never go wrong with a bold eye look and a dramatic wing).

Personality wise, I’m very logic driven. Regardless I’m still pretty impulsive, both a blessing and a curse. People have told me I’m wise, and reliable, easy to talk to about stuff and basically just an “old soul”. I’m very curious and I love learning about new things and doing research about anything that has my interest at that moment (currently psychology and criminology, forensics). I’m very punctual, though laid back. I’m pretty much an organized mess, and I’m very creative. I’m outgoing, but I do fine being on my own for long periods of time without getting lonely too. I’m also definitely the mediator and mother Theresa of the friend group. I’m not a born leader but still, I have no trouble taking the lead if needed. I don’t make friends particularly easy, but those that I do befriend I get close to. I don’t let people in all too easily overall, though.

I’m an ENTX, 5w4. My hobbies include drawing, (glass) painting, writing, gaming, playing guitar and bass and traveling. I also love watching crime documentaries, and listening to true crime podcasts (especially while doing something creative). I also love photography. And as stated earlier I have an interest in psychology and criminology and I can spend days and days researching certain cases.

Taishiro was on his day off when he meet you (btw he's in his skinny for this part and normal clothing). He saw you watching the case about overhaul and eri on a TV inside a cafe. Something about you made him interested and he decided to walk over and ask to sit with you. You said sure but asked why, he just said that he noticed you looking at the tv with great interest and was wondering why. Taishiro realized after a while of you two talking that you didn't recognize him (that actually made him happy because sometimes he just wants to be talked to like a normal person).

You two spend most of the day talking about recent villain cases well until he got called into work for an emergency and had to leave but before he left he gave you his number so you two could talk more later. Of course he did tell you he was a hero because there's no reason to lie about it. Taishiro ended up calling you a few days later asking if you wanted to hang out for a bit, when you said yes he came to pick you up and ended up taking you to a game arcade (he remembered you mentioning something about games the other day).

After you two started to hang out ever once and a while, taishiro grew feeling for you and confessed while you two were sitting at the beach drawing together. When you said yes he was so happy and pulled you into a hug. Than he asked if you wanted to go on an actual date now. He decided to take you to a crime escape room for the first date, he thought it was something you would love to do. During the escape room you were the one to figure most of it out while he was somewhat confused, however sometimes he would solve some things.

Taishiro loves cooking for you However he won't force you to eat that much because he knows he makes a lot of food (usually it tends to be a lot of food because of his quirk). Taishiro loves your clothes style and will help you with it if you ask him to (he'll even let you try different styles on him). If you want a makeup idea taishiro is happy to give you some however he thinks you look amazing without makeup too. Taishiro may be a busy hero but he'll always make time for you no mater what.

Hello! I am here for the shipping requests that you’ve started doing.

So to begin, my name is Hester, I am a nonbinary AFAb person (pronouns are they/them), I’m in Highschool (God help me), I am pansexual and the fandom I choose is The Umbrella Academy!

As for physical features, my eyes are very big and hazel in colour, my hair is very curly (as I am POC) and short (it kind of flops over my face). My skin is a light-ish brown/caramel color, I have barely noticeable dimples, I have high cheekbones, freckles that are across my nose, long eyelashes, and slightly uneven eyebrows.

When it comes to hobbies I write poetry (my poetry tends to be very dark and imagery based), but I also spend a lot of time researching psychology as it happens to be one of my special interests seeing as I am autistic. I also crochet avidly, I bake all the time (and I’m quite good at it), I love to read, I am obsessed with candles- to a very unnatural degree but I digress, I am a Wiccan (and am excited to be celebrating Litha in a couple days), I am extremely clumsy despite being taller than average (I’m 5’6). I have a habit of talking to myself and I am incredibly analytical and can remember pretty finite or even quite forgettable details about the things I am interested in. I love horror movies, though my favorite movie is the Perks of Being a Wallflower. And I am also a plant parent (I have a rosemary plant named Bernard). My music taste is very old (I listen to Pink Floyd, Beatles, Bowie, Queen, Sex Pistols, the Misifts, Bikini Kill). I really dislike ignorant or stupid people, also religious fanatics. I tend to be quite sarcastic, though I do have trouble reading a room and reading facial expressions and nonverbal cues.

For aspirations I am determined to get my Phd in Clinical psychology and go on to start my own practice and work as both a Clinical psychologist and a Forensic Psychologist, and to live in a cottage in Salem, MA. with at least one cat and lots of plants.
