Part 1
“Where’s Eddie”
Audrey’s voice cracked. Tears streaming down her face.
She quickly got off her bed. Her legs gave out under her, the cold floor shocked her body as it tried to regain its strength.
Bucky’s heart broke as the sight of Audrey’s reaction. The way she was frightened of him.
Bucky rushed to the other side of the bed to her Audrey off the floor. Just the sight of her struggling to stand made his heart ache.
“Don’t touch me”
“Audrey let me help you”
Audrey grab hold of the bed pulling herself up. Using the bed she was able to gain the strength back in her legs. But the pain in the back of her neck was strong. It felt as something was pulsing. Her mind still fuzzy about the situation all she could think about was Eddie.
“Why wasn’t he here with her?” Just bad thoughts rushed to but one stuck with her. Why was Bucky with her here at the tower. She knew he was here. No one knew about Venom.
“Where’s Eddie, Bucky!”
“Audrey please let me explain the situation?”
“My God, where is he? If you hurt him I wil-?”
The cold floors beneath her feet felt his presence. Her fingers started to darken but a shock came from her neck. Audrey yelped in pain falling to her knees. Her eyes had darken, black veins appearing on her arm and legs. She looked down with her right hand she reached behind her neck digging into flesh she pulled out a small chip.
Tossing the chip aside she put her bloody hands to the floor to try to find his presence again.
Bucky watched in horror as Audrey dug into her flesh pulling out a chip from behind her neck.
Just as Bucky was about to call for Jarvis. Bruce came rushing through the door with Natasha.
“hey hey let’s take a deep breath calm down”
Arms extended out towards her. Looking up seeing that purple shirt it had to be him.
“Bruce”
“Bruce is that you”
Her eyes faded from being black. Back to their normal color her eyes watered up. She smiled looking up at him. With blood on her hands she started to wipe her tears away.
“Hey Audrey”
Bruce slipped some gloves on. Helping her off the ground he helped her to the bed.
“may I”
Audrey sat up on the bed.
“sure”
“You’re safe now. Let me take a look at your wound and check your vitals. Is that okay?”
Audrey extended her arms out to Bruce so he could assess her condition and help defuse the heated situation with Bucky.
“Where’s Eddie”
“Barnes give us some privacy.”
Bucky left the room. With heart in pieces he went to the kitchen to get a drink and try to keep himself together. Just seeing her made his heart skip a beat. But she isn’t his girl anymore. Another man had taken his place.
How could he had been so stupid at making a mistake of cheating. Deep down he knew she deserved better. But he wanted a chance to show her that he could make up for the mistakes he made. And show her that he can be a better man.
But could he ever get that chance again?
Was it too late for him?
But the way she looked at him sealed his fate. She didn’t want anything to him and he knew deep down that she had moved on.
Audrey looked at Bruce. Her eyes welled up with tears. She held out hope that nothing serious had been done to Eddie.
“I’ll take you to him. Just let Bruce take care of your wound Ms. Hepburn”
“Natasha”
Audrey jumped up from the bed hugging Nat so tightly. Looking at each other they laughed together. She helped Audrey sit down on the chair so Bruce could stitch the back of her neck.
“Where’s Eddie? Please Natasha where is he?”
Audrey held her hand.
“Audrey I tried to reason with them. They took him to a holding cell. Tony and Steve aren’t gonna listen to any of us.”
Natasha sighs quietly.
“Take me to him please. I have to see him and make sure he’s okay”
Audrey struggled to stand up once again.
“I will but your wound needs stitching and bandaged up.”

This is my first post
A/N-this is my first fanfic I’m currently working on at the moment. Feel free to comment.
This is a short beginning. This is a working progress. Hope everyone enjoys.
The James Buchanan Barnes constantly on the move with work. With his beloved at home waiting for him. When their relationship starts to fall apart Audrey tries to find out why things aren’t working out. With a secret of her own she tries to navigate this life in hiding. The world isn’t ready for her secret. Neither her friends. With a secret enemy hidden in plain sight waiting to strike. Audrey held onto hope that he’ll come home soon. James would be gone for a few days the suddenly it went to weeks. Audrey didn’t want to think that he was planning on leaving her. Audrey has big news for him, that will change their lives.
But will things be the same when he returns.
Audrey awakens to the sound of an alarm. The bright blinding lights strain her eyes. The throbbing pain in her head makes its hard to focus. The alarm suddenly shuts off.
There’s complete silence all around. She closes her eyes to focus her energy on clearing her foggy head. Her body tingled with pain. Unable to move she was in hell. She thought of her life before it all came to this.
Audrey and James Apartment
“James Please you work too much. Please Stay”
“Darling it’s one mission I’ll be home before you say “I Love You”
“When will you be home?”
“Tomorrow Morning for sure my love”
He gathers his belongs and rushes to the door. He didn’t look back to Audrey.
“I Love You…..”
Audrey whispered.
Bucky rushes out from their apartment. Audrey watches him leave. She didn’t tell him she was pregnant. She had been planning a whole day for them. Tears rush down her face as she walks back to their room. She cries herself to sleep thinking of Bucky.
The next morning comes but there’s no Bucky. Hours go by but to no news or a phone call from any of the avengers. She quickly grabs her phone to dial Steve or Sam in hopes they would give her news of the situation.
Steve phone just rings then straight to voicemail. She tries again Voicemail again.
Hopefully with Sam she has luck with him.
On the other line he picks up……..
Theres silence at first then a groggy voice is heard
“Audrey”
“Hello Sam. Sam its me Audrey” she cries tears of joy hearing his voice.
“Yeah I’m here. Sorry I was taking a nap. What’s up”
“I’ve been trying to get ahold of Steve, I’m worried about Bucky have you heard from him. He was supposed to be home this morning. I had no luck of getting ahold of him. Was there any complications on the mission.”
“Really. Everyone came back from that mission yesterday evening.”
“what? yesterday evening”
“Is everything okay Audrey”
She pauses before she can say anything. All the possibilities running through her mind she pauses on the thought that Bucky is cheating.
“Audrey, Audrey?!”
“Yes Sam”
“Are you okay? Do you need me to come over.”
“No Sam its all right. I’m gonna step out and get some fresh air”
“Okay,don’t do anything crazy. Hey Audrey if I see Steve or Bucky I’ll send them your way.”
“Please do Sam. Thank you Sam. Bye”
“Bye Audrey”
Nothing had prepared her for this moment. How could he lie to her. Audrey thought to herself that if she told him sooner would it had made a difference in their relationship. Would he had stayed with her.
1 Month Later
In the beginning of her pregnancy. She came to terms that she would be raising her child alone.
The appointments came and went everything was on track as a good healthy pregnancy. But tragedy struck in the early hours of a cold December morning.
“How could this had happened? Why me?”
“There was no stress in my life? I did everything right? A healthy diet the proper amount of nutrients?”
Questions quickly piled onto one another. As she sat on the hospital bed waiting for her doctor to return. Nurses came and gone but lost in her thoughts she couldn’t help to feel responsible for her loss.
As the doctor spoke to her all she could think about was the day James Buchanan Barnes walked out of her life. Was there something she did wrong. Did he not love her anymore.
Audrey was discharged from the hospital a few days later. She went back to their apartment where all the memories reminded her of him.
She looked around the apartment one picture frame after another she took them down. She needed to let him go. There was no point on hold on to the past. He made his decision that day and she needed to let him go.
It hurt so much to box up her belongings. But the pain of losing a child can’t be explained. She kept packing her things up until all that was left was Bucky things lying around.
The moving truck came in a timely manner. The men from the moving truck assisted with bring her belongings down. Together they left to her new apartment far from his place.
She couldn’t bare to see him again. If he returned.
Bucky Pov:
“Steve I can’t do this anymore. I’m not in love with Kayla anymore. She isn’t Audrey. All she wants to do is shop all the time.”
“Buck, don’t do this to Audrey. Just tell her”
“I can’t Steve. How could I face her when I cheated on her. She trusted me and I betrayed her.” “I left a letter for her explaining everything. I just hope she hasn’t found it”
“I got to go back to the apartment Steve.”
1 Month Later
Bucky Pov
I watched a moving truck leave the front of the building. I couldn’t bring myself speak with her face to face. Like a coward I walked around the block, I waited what felt like hours. With the courage I made to come up with I went to our apartment. The smell of her perfume lingered in the air it was intoxicating. But a small envelope laid on the kitchen table.
James
If you’re reading this I’ve left I couldn’t bare another minute here. Was there something I did wrong if so I could have fixed it. Why did you leave? Was the question on my mind everyday. But I have come to terms with reality that you don’t want me a apart of yours. I hold no ill will against you. She must be beautiful and an amazing person. I hope she’s everything you want. Take care of yourself James.

No words could be put in order as Bucky fell to his knees crying. How could he have messed up everything. Their life together wasn’t perfect but he was madly in love with her when they first met. How could he have thrown her away for a fling.
He had to find Audrey and find a way to fix his mistake.
But where could she have gone. There was no clue in the apartment where she had gone too.

Audrey watched in horror as everyone she knew as friends or family. Betrayed her. She had to make a choice save herself and Eddie or burn the world. And sit upon her throne of blood, watch the work burn. She had already lost everyone she loved. Bucky watched helplessly as the woman he loved turn in a powerful creature. This was his fault. He wanted to make things right. But it hurt so much watching her fall apart again.
Not knowing what to say he looked to his beloved.
“Wanda Darling”
“I know”
“I love you Vis”
“And I love you Wanda”
Tears rolling down her cheeks she held back her sobs.
Vision wiped away her tears. With a wave of his hands he resumed time. Wanda touched his face.
“STOP”
“Audrey please wait don’t do this?”
Wanda held out her hand
“Audrey let us help you please. This isn’t the way to do this.”
“I know you lost a lot. We have seen the future. And its not gonna end the you want it too.”
“I’m sorry Eddie doesn’t make it. And ……an……you ……..(sobs) you kill everyone in a fit of rage.
Audrey stood in silence.
“Eddie is gone Audrey”
“Venom! Let me think!”
“THEN SAVE HIM! WANDA SAVE HIM FOR US PLEASE!”
“Venom he’s all we have?”
“Audrey save him for us”
Audrey turned towards everyone.
She reverted back to her human form. Falling to her knees she started crying. Rubbing her eyes she couldn’t hold back the pain.
Looking up at everyone. Anger in heart she couldn’t show weakness to anyone.
Venom tried to find a a way to comfort her. She kneel down in front of the glass. Looking at Eddie. Watching him closely she noticed him breathing.
“Wanda, Vision don’t do this?”
Tony watched the couple look at each other once again.
“Tony you don’t know what’s at stake here. She could enslave the world. And take away everything in a heartbeat. Millions of lives will be lost. Just trust us.”
Bucky rushed to Bruce to check on Steve. The gash in his neck and chest started to close up slowly. Bucky tried so hard to hold back his tears. But the tears fell on Steve.
“Wake Up Punk, it’s supposed to be Till The End Of The Line?”
“Sergeant Barnes I have to get him out of here. Steve is gonna be okay he’s stable now.”
Bucky moved out of the way. Watching the medical personnel take Steve to the medical wing.
“Audrey Stop This!”
His back still facing her he wiped away his tears. Clearing his throat he spoke in a calm demeanor. He held back his pain. Hoping that his voice wouldn’t crack.
“I’m sorry for what I did it’s all my fault. It has always been my fault. The day you lost your dad was the hardest moment in your life. The day I decided to cheat on you. That was no mistake. I was going through a lot of self doubt and she was there. She made me forget all the pain. I couldn’t stop myself and I couldn’t bring myself to admit the shame. I should’ve been there for you when you needed me the most.”
Wiping away his stray tears he couldn’t face her. Not like this. He was a crying mess. His heart broken. His mind wandering endlessly about Audrey.
“I don’t deserve you Audrey? You were the beautiful woman that walked into my life and I messed up. I don’t deserve your love. He does.”
Bucky painfully turned around. Wiping away his tears. He sniffled. Eyes red, strays tears fell in the silent room. The smell of her sweat and perfume mixed reminded him of the better days.
Painfully he pointed to Eddie. The man that swept her off her feet. The man that caressed her heart and soul.
“Tony let them go!”
Bucky looked at Tony.
“Umm Excuse me Manchurian Project did you forget her alien boyfriend is a murderer! ”
Tony stepped down from the stairs. Face to face with Bucky.
“Tony Let Them Go!!”
Dry tears stained his face. Looking at Tony in a stoic manner. He stood his ground.
“If we do this we’re no better then them!”
“I’m not comparing us to them. They murder and kidnap anyone. But his he’s a murderer he’s killed people around here. If all of you forgotten there is dozens and dozens of missing people flyers out there. That thing in the cell is responsible. I’m not changing my mind on this he stays locked up and she needs to be restrained or dealt with.”
Tony secretly had Happy escort Pepper to a safe location. He sighed with relief knowing she was safe. Tony conflicted with his thoughts.
“If you hurt him. I promise you I will take everything you love and I will make you watch them take their last pathetic breaths screaming your name TONY STARK!”
Audrey’s hands pressed against the glass. Her hair covered her face. Anger and sadness coursed her blood. Hearing Tony talk made her skin crawl, her blood boil.
“Tony! Let them go!”
Bucky shouted at Tony again.
“We don’t need blood shed. Just let them go. How can be be so sure it’s him?”
Sam yelled across the room.
Sam watched in horror. He had chosen his side when the chaos begin. But thinking about his decision he had a chance to make it right. Audrey was like a sister to him. She’s been through so much. This wasn’t right.
Wanda held her hands up. A red haze appeared around Eddie’s head.
“Oh my god. How could we have been so wrong. I’m so sorry Audrey. I’m so sorry.”
Wanda Telepathically Speaking To Vision
“Vis it wasn’t him at all. They are here for her. They want her I saw what he saw when he saved her. I’ve made a mistake. This is all my fault I caused this all. I should’ve checked before all of this.” “If he dies the future we saw. Everyone will die.”
Tony tried to reason with himself. He needed the evidence. But the missing people flyers piling up around the city he couldn’t take any chances. Without another thought he set off a silent alarm.
Windows shattering, sounds of boots hitting the granite floors. Audrey’s tears watered up her eyes. Seeing Double Eddie lying on the ground she yelped. It seemed as time slowed down.
Venom had taken over. Protecting Audrey with the Black mass. Cradling her inside he had to do something.
Wanda had fear this. Vision cradled her in his chest to shield her from the massacre. But the air fell silent.
The glass doors had open.
“please……don’t ……….audrey darling wait……..”
“Eddie”
“Darling is that you?”
“audrey I heard you in the dark you called my name? I tried to find you. I heard you crying?”
“don’t cry my darling. I love you? I know this isn’t the time and place but venom and me wanted to give you this”
Venom reverted back into Audrey’s body. She came running into the cell. Picking his head off the ground cradling him in her lap. Her tears fell on his face. His kissable pink lips dried with tiny cracks. His eyes still shut. His cheeks pale. He spoke again.
“Audrey”
“sorry it’s in my pocket”
Venom quickly reached into Eddie’s pocket only to pull out gum wrappers and a old receipt and lint balls.
“Other pocket”
Venom chuckled. Knowing damn well he was embarrassing Eddie in front of the woman he had fallen head over heels in love with.
Venom pulled out a small velvet box. Carrying it to Eddie’s hand. He placed the small box in his hands. Waiting for Eddie to say something. He watched him grasp the box and slowly try to sit up. Venom exited Audrey body seeping into Eddie’s tired form.
Venom helped Eddie gather his strength. He waited for him to reveal the contents of the box and give his little speech he had been practicing for days.
Venom had given him so much shit about the speech. Telling Eddie it’s too cheesy and she might run away from a loser like him but Eddie knew otherwise.
“Audrey I know we only known each other for awhile now not long but I know deep down you fell head over heels for me when we had first met. The way you smiled at me was enough for me to know I had a chance. I know I scared you when you had met Venom. But you accepted him. And I love that about you but here it goes”
“Oh my god Eddie?!”
Audrey’s face turned bright red.
“Eddie!?”
“What’s that?”
Audrey’s face changed immediately. Holding back her giggle her eyes started to tear up. Venom had started laughing so hard. He had to make an appearance.
Eddie quickly looked into the box only to find a small pebble. Written on it said loser.
Venom couldn’t contain his laughter. Eddie was so embarrassed but shocked that his gift was missing.
“Your sweater pocket Loser”
“Eddie quickly reached into his pocket feeling a small metal ring.”
“Audrey will you do me the honor in running away with me. From all of this, far away so you don’t not have to worry about Hydra.”
“From him”
Eddie pulled from his pocket a ring. He had been saving for leaving the city but after meeting Audrey he knew he wanted forever with her.
Hearing Eddie say “him”. Bucky knew this was her chance to start something new in her life. As much as it hurt seeing another man take his place he had to help her escape. Without saying another word. Tony and his team swarmed around the cell guns pointing towards them and power dampening collars held ready for the couple.
“Eddie I do.”
Audrey leaned down to kiss Eddie. But Venom shoved Eddie up making him Kiss Audrey. It was as time stopped for the couple stopping to catch their breaths. The room had darken. A red cloud surrounded them.
The cloud started to clear away to reveal they had been teleported out of the city. Where Wanda and Vision stood holding a brown envelope.
“I’m sorry for everything Audrey. I shouldn’t have peeked in his mind a looked around before I knew your side of the story. Forgive me Audrey.”
“In time I will find the will to forgive you Wanda but we have to leave now. Thank you for sparing his life.”
“Hey loser you didn’t tell her I picked out the ring!”
“I did you kept talking about chocolate and tater tot’s”
“I did loser! You did nothing loser!”
Wanda opened the car door Audrey helping her get inside. She watched as they left. Wanda transported themselves back at the tower. With a snap of Vision fingers time resumed.
Everyone still arguing only to notice Audrey and Eddie were no where to be seen. Tony frantically pulled up all camera footage hoping to find a clue. Fury team sent out search parties searching the city for the couple. Wanda and Vision denied any involvement with help them escape.
Bucky left the room with a heavy heart knowing she had gotten away. His love for her hurt. Walking back to his room he wanted to lie down on his bed in hopes she was safe.
On his bed he found a letter.
Dear, James
By the time you’re reading this I will be gone. In this letter holds a spell. Use it whenever you would like it will wipe your mind of our life together. You will not have to bear that burden of a lost love.
I did love you. I always have and I forgive you. I hope you find peace and happiness.
Take care of yourself.

Just as she stated in the letter was a symbol and words written. He held the letter close to his heart. Crying in his room he looked at the letter once again. Reading the words from the letter. A dark red cloud rose from it made his eyes glow blue. The letter disappeared. Buckys laid on the floor only to picked up by a red haze laid gently down on the bed. Where he slept.

Audrey left Bucky coughing in the alleyway. While on his hands and knees he looked up watching Audrey walk away from him. This wasn’t the woman he knew before? She changed.
She wasn’t the timid person he once knew. The way she transformed before him shocked him. The way her eyes glowed red the black lines that spread from her eyes. Her fangs stuck out most to him.
But most of all her strength. Was this his doing?
Bucky got himself off the ground dusting himself off. He thought about everything that has happened.
Bucky wanted to follow her but he decided against it. He walked back to the tower defeated.
All he could think about was her?
Audrey continued walking to the cafe but something was making dizzy. The more she fought against it it made her vision fuzzy.
Everything went black.
Sam and Wanda, Natasha waited for Audrey. They tried to call her but no answer. They became concerned that she was responding to any calls or texts. Sam immediately called Tony about the situation. They waited for awhile before they decided to look into the matter.
Concerned for her safety Sam immediately began to search the city for her. But first he stopped by her place to see if there were any clues.
He knew that Bucky maybe had done something or said something to her.
No luck at her apartment he left back to the tower to confront Bucky.
5+ Hours Gone By.
Sam concern about Audrey he paced the meeting room. Steve working with Natasha looking through camera footage in hopes they could find a clue of where she went.
Tony and Peter searched around the city in hopes they would find her.
Wanda contacted Eddie.
Eddie and Venom frantically searched the outskirts of the city in hopes they would find her.
Bucky rode his motorcycle through the city. In hopes he would find her first. He went to all their spots where they use to go to when they were together.
Pepper and Happy stayed behind at the tower in hopes she would show up.
Hours had gone by but no trace of Audrey.
The sun had set and everyone continued their search but no success.
Eddie and Venom looked around downtown near where the homeless shelter was located.
Eddie started to get worried about Audrey. Who would kidnap her. He thought back when some of the homeless people around the area were going missing. No one was looking into the situation with the homeless people missing.
Just as he was about to leave he noticed a white van parked outside a abandoned building. He decided to investigate when he crawled into the building skylight he noticed the cryogenic chamber that was open. People walked around and he saw Audrey strapped down to a gurney.
Venom acted quickly taking over he immediately jumped down attacking anyone that intervened with his rescue mission.
Venom ripped the straps off the gurney. Audrey didn’t move her lifeless body laid before him. He scooped her up holding her close to him Venom ran out of the building looking for a safe spot to assess the situation.
Venom had a feeling that the worse had happened, Eddie could feel how Venom felt about the situation. But he held out hope that she would wake up.
Venom climbed an abandoned church where he laid Audrey down on the dusty floor. Eddie emerged from Venom kneeling beside her trying to feel for a pulse. He felt a pulse but it was faint.
He quickly picked her up. Venom immediately took over running with Audrey to the Avengers Tower. Venom and Eddie didn’t want to admit but this situation had turned for the worse.
Venom jumping across buildings holding Audrey in his arms he cradled her closely.
Bucky was headed back to the tower when he noticed a large shadow jumping from building to building headed to the tower. He quickly radioed Natasha and Steve of the situation.
Venom noticed he was being followed.
“Eddie I’m getting close to the tower you’re gonna have to take over soon. That little shit is following us too. I should’ve bit his head off when we met.”
“Venom not now but you’ll have your chance but not now this is about Audrey. I love her, this can’t be how things end.”
Venom landed in front of the building. Eddie emerged from Venom holding Audrey as the rain poured down on them. Bucky stood behind Eddie watching him hold Audrey.
“What are you?”
“What did you do to her?!”
Everyone came running outside in the rain. Eddie looked up to Tony holding Audrey
“Please help her?”
“I couldn’t take her to the hospital and I thought of you guys. I know you can help her.”
“I know you have questions about me but help her. I love her please save her.”
Bucky stood behind Eddie but hearing him say that he loved Audrey broke his heart all over again. Audrey was his girl. Her smile, laugh’s echoed in his memories.
Not wanting to face the fact that another man had taken his place. He pushed everything aside only to focus Audrey.
Worried for her Bucky quickly ran up the steps following everyone.
The medical team taken Audrey to the medical wing. Assessing the condition of Audrey they learned that she’s in a coma. An unknown serum was injected into her blood stream made her weak. As time passed they needed to find out what was in the serum and how they could counteract the drug.
Audrey state of health quickly declined. Eddie paced the halls while Venom asked him questions about the situation.
Bucky paced the halls as well but suspicious about Eddie he confronted him.
“What are you?”
“I promised Audrey I wouldn’t fight with you. I’m not in the mood to explain myself to you.”
Bucky walked away from Eddie. He found Steve with Tony and Natasha talking about where Eddie found Audrey.
Sam and Wanda with a few agents went to search the place where Eddie found Audrey.
Racing against time they had to find a way to stop Audrey’s health from deteriorating.
Steve and Tony looked at each other then Bucky.
Tony walked towards the medical wing Steve followed him. A few armed agents followed as well.
Natasha chased the guys down.
“Tony whats going on?”
“We can’t trust him”
Tony quicken his pace.
“You saw what he was outside when he brought Audrey back”
Steve followed Tony to the medical wing.
In Audrey’s coma she dreamed of her father.
Audrey awaken in a flower bed she sat up looking around the sunlight blinded her but she saw a figure in a distance.
“Dad?”
“Honey Bee?”
“Dad, its me?”
“Hi Dad”
Audrey jumped up running to her dad. Tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Dad, I missed you so much. You were all I had. Please don’t leave me again. I want to stay with you. Don’t leave me again”
“Aww honey bee. I’m happy to see you but what are you doing here. You shouldn’t be here. You need to go back home.”
“Dad don’t send me away. I want to stay here with you.”
“Honey Bee I’m happy to see you. I missed you too but it isn’t your time. If you stay here you’ll be stuck here with me.”
“You need to go home.”
“But Dad-“
“No buts Honey Bee”
“I know what James did and I don’t agree with his decision but you have to forgive him too. But there’s someone out there that needs you.”
“What? Who?”
“Eddie”
“You know about him dad?”
“Yes honey bee”
“I’m with you everyday. You were never alone. I sat with you when you were mourning your loss. You were never alone my bee. I know there’s bad men after you but you’re stronger then you know and I’m proud of you my bee.” “Its time to go home my bee”
“Dad I love you”
“I love you too honey bee”
“Bye Dad”
“Bye Honey Bee”
The sounds of machine beeping. And a warm hand on hers. The bright blinding lights blind her, her arms feel heavy. She gently moves her fingers. But someone hand gently squeezes her hands.
She manages to open her eyes.
“Bucky”
“Audrey”
“Where’s Eddie?”
With fear in her voice. She sat up quickly.
“Audrey you were in a coma for 4 days”
“Where’s Eddie!?”
Her voice cracked. Tears running down her face she pulled her hand away from him.
Buckys heart broke.

Chapter 11

The air became thick with tension. The hairs on the back of their necks stood up. Death filled the air. The sounds of matter dripping made a sound so loud that it made everyone quiver with fear to their cores.
Blood pooled around her feet. Natasha stood in fear and disbelief. What stood before her was her friend, her sister. This didn’t change anything for her. She had to get Eddie out and have Audrey run with him before anyone gets hurt.
Bucky stood with Tony shocked by what just happened. The amount of blood that covered the floor shook him. His life long friend laid before him. He slowly walked over to him kneeling beside him he couldn’t bring himself to flip him over.
Bruce rushed in with two medical staff. Quickly Bruce was a able to find a pulse. The room felt uneasy. He looked up to see her. In her form.
No one said a word. Blood gushed out all over the floor. Bruce immediately applied pressure to stop the bleeding. Before he could say anything. Tony suit came flying into the room. Wanda and Vision rushed to Eddie’s cell. Bucky didn’t want to hurt her. But he had no choice she needed to be stopped.
With a wave of her hand. A black mist appeared the center burned red. She disappeared appearing before the cell walls.
“STOP HER”
An explosion.
Ringing sounded off in everyone’s ears.
Glass shattering. A wave of pressure knocked everything and everyone to the ground. While everyone was slowly getting up. There she stood
What have they created.
There she stood, but something about her was different.
Consumed in a black matter.
The black goo had escaped its holding cell. Absorbed into her body, she stood there feeling her power surpass even her own limit.
The feeling of anger coursing through her veins.
“Where’s Eddie, Audrey!”
Seeing Eddie slumped over in cell not moving. Venom went over the edge. Feeling his pain and anger caused Audrey to go berserk.
The pain of losing her lover hurt more than anything. But the betrayal from her so - called friends was nothing more than a knife stabbed in her heart.
They weren’t her friends they were a means to an end. They had to pay for this.
They killed Eddie.
Venoms Friend.
Her lover.
“KILL THEM ALL AUDREY!”
“KILL THEM ALL”
Before anyone could do anything. Vision stopped time for a moment. He could feel something was wrong with Wanda.
Being apart of the time stone. This is a time law he couldn’t mess with. With the risk he had taken he paused it.
Quickly he consoled Wanda.
Her touched her forehead. Seeing her Vision.
Wanda saw the what was gonna happen if they didn’t stop her.
Wanda’s Vision
“Carnage”
Just as everyone assessed the situation. Fury and some agents rushed into the room. The room quickly turned into a massacre.
“The sounds of screams was all she can hear”
“The blood curdling screams. Drowned out by the roar of anger and pain.”
She ripped limbs from agents. Ripping through the crowd she threw agents out the window. With no way to stop her. The abilities she had yet to discover were amplified with the anger and the Symbiote. With the snap of her fingers she was able to over power Wanda. Turning her into a slave.
Mindless Killing Everyone Around Her.
Turning her sights to Vision.
Over powering him. With red eyes she reached down to the tiny stone embedded in his forehead. She ripped the stone out. Smashing it to pieces.
Ripping the Former Winter Soldier Arm Off. Then reaching into his chest ripping out his beating heart before him. Watching him close his eyes one last time.
Sam flying by to see if he can get the upper hand. With the wave of Wanda’s hand she stopped him mid-flight. Audrey and Venom jumping up grabbing him. Venom bites his head off.
Bruce and Natasha watched in horror. Audrey turned her sights on them. Trembling with fear Bruce used his body to shield Nat as Audrey approached them.
“Get out.”
“Stay far away from here. Live the life you both want so much.”
“Natasha”
Audrey’s glowing hand touched her belly. It is done. Be the mother you always wanted to be, don’t take this life for granted.”
Tony watched in horror in his suit. Armed with a full arsenal he charged after Audrey and Venom. Brody following him. The sounds of yelling was all Tony heard through his mic.
“Brody!”
“Don’t, Don’t do this Audrey leave him alone. Please”
“It’s please now!”
“It’s Please Now Tony!”
“YOU KILLED HIM! MY EDDIE IS DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!!”
“YOU WILL KNOW PAIN!”
“Pepper”
“Beautiful Woman She Is, Very Smart.”
“Leave Her Out Of This”
“YOU WILL KNOW PAIN. AN EYE FOR AN EYE.”
Wanda held Tony back mid air. The screams echoed the halls. Tony struggled against Wanda’s magic. Pepper screamed for Tony. Then silence.
The dead silence.
“You will know pain and your hands are covered in their blood. You caused this. You should have let us go. Hunt me all you want, and I will come back and Take everything you love. Only to leave you alone.
Vision had fear this. He couldn’t handle losing Wanda to this creature.
They had created a monster. All for what.
Were they ready to lose everything. All for what?

“Take me to Eddie”
Audrey stood up from the bed her legs still a little wobbly but she managed.
“Audrey can you stand on your own?”
Bruce asked her as she held the bed to stabilize her.
“Audrey I tried to reason with them but they wouldn’t listen. I can’t guarantee his safety.”
Natasha held her cold stare to Audrey. She glanced over to Bruce in hopes he had any additional information he would like to share.
“Audrey, Nat is right we are walking into a delicate situation especially in your condition. Please don’t do anything drastic. We can find a way to reason with Tony.”
“I can walk Bruce. Take me to him.”
“NOW!”
Holding Cells
Tony continuously watched Eddie pacing his cell. Steve paced back and forth discussing the incident that took place earlier.
“Tony the team is at a disagreement with this?”
Steve stopped pacing the room. Deep in thought he mentioned the first thing that came to mind.
“We don’t know what he is?” “Where did he come from?”
Tony swiped through all the classified documents from Hydra that they recovered from previous missions.
The sound of an alarm blaring.
Tony had accidentally hit the lockdown button for Eddie’s cell.
Venom and Eddie fought to stay together but the pain was too great for Venom.
Separating from each other Eddie laying on the ground trying to crawl to Venom.
Venom body form resemble slime.
His movements were scattered everywhere. Sharp spikes stretching everywhere.
Tony and Steve watched.
They had found his weakness and a way to separate them.
Tony shut the alarm off. Watching the black matter be absorbed into Eddie’s body.
Eddie lied on the ground. His mind and body in excruciating pain. All he could think about was Audrey. His pain didn’t stop him from fighting to stand up and try to say something before they could anything to hurt him or Venom.
Audrey was walking with Bruce and Natasha when she felt his pain. She thought about what her dad said to her.
She had to make things right.
“You guys go ahead I need a minute with him”
“Sure thing”
“Sam and Wanda just got back I’ll fill them in on the situation”
Natasha and Bruce walked down to the lobby to brief their team mates on the current situation with Tony and Steve.
Meanwhile in the Kitchen
Bucky paced the kitchen. Brushing his fingers through his hair he tried to calm his emotions. He felt like his heart would burst out of his chest.
The way Audrey looked at him. Made him sad, but frightened of her, she looked broken.
Pacing the kitchen made him have a panic attack. He gasped for air, clawing at his throat he kept trying breathe slowly. His eyes watered up.
Everything started to turn black.
Was this it.
No one around to help him with his panic attack.
Steve promised him he would help him if he ever needed it. But this time he wasn’t around. And he was at a loss with everyone. No one accepted his apology for what he did to Audrey.
The cold floor cooled his overheated body. Lying in silence alone. He deserved to be alone.
“But wait?”
Soft warm hands caressed his face. Brushing the stray hairs out of his face. He felt at peace.
Then in the darkness he hears her.

Hearing her hum to him was what grounded him when he was at his worse.
He couldn’t help but cry in her arms.
He felt tears fall on his face. Just as he opened his eyes he saw her “his girl”
“Audrey”
“I Hate You”
“I Fuckin Hate That My Heart Aches For You”
“I’m human and I have emotions and I care for you”
“I can’t let you suffer like this. I saw my dad. I loved him so much he was the only person that mattered to me. But he’s gone. And I promised him to make things right.”
Audrey tried to hold back a sob. She started to sob uncontrollably while holding Bucky in her lap.
“I can’t keep hating you the way I did. I forgive you. But I choose Eddie.”
“I love him.”
“Eddie Brock I love him.”
“I forgive you”
“The pain you put me through made me realize how delicate my heart is and how dangerous I am if I stay here. I’m a different. And being different can be dangerous. Eddie and I are alike. He has a beautiful soul.”
“And I love him.”
“If I lose him then I will lose myself. I will become unstoppable, dangerous, fueled by grief and anger.”
“Take care of yourself please forget about me. Stop hanging onto the past let me go.”
Audrey leaned down to Bucky’s forehead with a kiss she put him to sleep.
“Forgive me father. I had to do it”
Audrey walked away.
Holding Cells
The sound of the door closing in the holding cell area echoed in the room Tony and Steve stood in.
“Oh my god, what have you done?”
Audrey ran to his glass wall. Where Eddie slumped over covered in sweat, he shivered uncontrollably.
In another room Venom jumped all over his glass cell. Trying to reach Eddie.
“Eddie, My Love?”
“WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?”
“I wouldn’t do that kiddo?”
Tony interrupted over the intercom.
“You’re A Fuckin Monster Stark!”
“Am I Though? You’re boyfriend here is a murderer?”
Tony stared at Audrey aggressively through the glass window.
“Let him go?”
“He didn’t do anything wrong, he didn’t hurt anyone?”
Tears streaming down her face. She held back her transformation. The anger was building up against her. Her blood boiled.
“Audrey Darling This Is Your Last Warning”
Tony chimes in on the intercom.
Wanda, Sam and Bruce, Natasha walked into the room Tony and Steve were in. They all disagreed with the decisions that the guys made about Eddie.
Tony and Steve presented their argument. But Wanda had a peek in Eddie’s memories. There she saw the carnage that Venom had done to some bank robbers and some prisoners.
After she witnessed the carnage the Venom had done. She sided with Tony and Steve about sending Eddie to the Raft. She was against it at first but she saw what he was capable of. And it frightened her.
Bruce didn’t want to take a side. He had a soft spot for Audrey in his heart. He couldn’t bare another moment of hurting Audrey. He walked away with his heart in his hands.
Sam thought about both arguments. But seeing what Eddie was he agreed to have Eddie sent to The Raft. Seeing that it was best for Audrey and the safety of everyone around him. He couldn’t look at Audrey. Having to side with Tony and Steve he simply walked away.
Natasha argued with Steve and Tony about the decision they were making. When everyone noticed that Bucky wasn’t around.
Steve ran out of the room. Looking through the hall’s, balcony, the kitchen and living he didn’t see him. Running down the hall to his room he bursted into Bucky’s room he found him lying down in his room. Cold to the touch he tried to wake him but he was lost in a dream like state. He started to panic thinking he lost his best friend. He stormed back to the holding cell area. He grab Audrey by the neck choking her.
“What did you do to him?”
Steve lifted Audrey off the ground. Tears running down his face.
“He’s sleeping.”
Audrey trying to get lose from Steve grip.
But her eyes turned black she started to transform right in front of everyone. She overpowered Steve grip on her neck.
Dropping to her knees she looked up. Her eyes glowed black and red. Her fangs stuck out. Her fingers had turned black.
“I trusted you all and this is how we end things?”

Bucky POV
The sounds of machines beeping wake me up.
“Dr. Banner?”
“Where am I, what happened”
“Fuck my head is throbbing”
“You’re in the infirmary Sergeant Barnes. Could you sit up for me I need to do a few tests. You took quite the beating.”
“How long was I out for?”
“4 hours”
Bruce does his check up on Barnes
“Everything looks good, you’re good to go”
“Bruce I know we don’t talk much but can I ask you something?”
“Sure” Bruce sets down his clipboard and pen.
“Its- its about Audrey..?”
Bruce takes a deep breath in not wanting to talk about her. Deep down his heart breaks for her.
“Did Audrey tell you about her pregnancy?”
“She did see me. But this was after her hospital stay. She made me promise not to tell anyone.”
“I know I messed up. But I have to fix it. Do you know where she is?”
“Sergeant Barnes, you can try to fix it but its not gonna change her mind.”
Bruce picks up his clipboard with a sigh he looks down. Before he exits the room.
“Just…James let her go. She needs to heal from the traumatic event she went through. She needs time.”
Warnings- Smut, Explicit language.
Bucky goes back to his room he passes Natasha and Steve in the kitchen. He doesn’t spare them a glance. Upset with himself and Sam. He isolates himself in his room thinking of Audrey. Bucky falls asleep dreaming of Audrey.
The smell of her perfume on the bed sheets is intoxicating. When I run my fingers along her thighs she quivers under my touch. The way she moans excites me.
Her breathing slows down, she keeps her eyes closed waiting for me to touch her again. “Audrey”
“Yes James”
“James Huh” he slips his cold metal fingers in her slowly rubbing her soft spot.
Audrey moans and screams my name. The way she arches her back makes me hunger for her even more.
The sounds of someone knocking on the door awakens him out of his dream.
Bucky quickly gets up rubbing his eyes.
“What!”
“Hey Buck, can we talk?”
“Steve, sure let me shower first.”
“Okay, I’ll be back. Just let Jarvis know when you’re ready to talk.”
“Sure thing?”
Bucky quickly gets up. A cold shower will help him come down from his high. That dream of Audrey was so real. The smell of her on the sheets was enough to give his an erection. He doesn’t stop thinking of her. Bucky finishes off in the shower. All he can think of is Audrey. 
Jarvis notifies Steve that Sergeant Barnes would like to talk with him.
Steve heads over to Bucky’s room. Where he finds him sitting on the bed facing the windows.
“Buck can we talk”
“Yeah”
“I talked with Natasha about everything that happened over these past few months. Are you still seeing Kayla?
“No we ended things after she found out about Audrey..?”
“Why?”
“Tony is concern about Audrey’s safety since Hydra. They’ve been keeping surveillance on her when you guys were together. They already knew what she is and her abilities. Tony wanted her to stay here, but she refused to stay. If Audrey agrees to stay here, you’re gonna be on temporary suspension until Tony can relocate Audrey somewhere safe.”
“Thats if she agrees to stay here Steve?”
“I know I messed up everything with Audrey. But I want to see her again.”
“Buck, just don’t do anything stupid”
“How can I, I’ve already messed up everything with everyone. Where’s Nat?”
“She’s with Wanda. Why?”
“I want to talk to her about something?”
Bucky leaves his room. He walks straight to Wanda’s room he knocks waiting for someone to answer. He waits briefly before Wanda opens the door.
“Hey James, did you need something?”
“Yeah, Steve told me that Nat is here with you? Is there a chance I could talk with you ladies?”
“Sure, come in”
Bucky comes in. He paces for a few seconds before he sits down. Wanda and Nat sit on the bed waiting patiently for Bucky to say something.”
“I know what you’re gonna say?”
“But hear me out please?”
Wanda says with the flip of her hand a glow is seen.”
“Go ahead the floor is yours” a red stool appears.
“Lie to me and you’ll find out”
“My apologies will not fix the mistakes I’ve made. And I regret making those decisions. What happened with Kayla was an accident it wasn’t planned. It just happened with her. I don’t know why I kept seeing her. During those times with her it was an escape like a drug. All I wanted was her and every time I met up with her she made me forget everything. My relationship with Audrey seemed perfect to me. Yes we had our ups and downs but she made me feel better about myself and she didn’t mind my past.”
“But what I realize is that Kayla used me as a publicity stunt. Sleeping with an Avenger was a rumor that Steve heard about when he found out about me and Kayla. Steve tried to talk to me about Kayla but I was so lost in my thoughts about Kayla. I threatened Steve that if he ever told Audrey that he would pay for it.”
“Steve never told Audrey because what I said to him. It wasn’t Steve fault. It was all mine.”
“I know it’s a long shot but do you think Audrey will sit down with me to talk?”
“James I’m not sure what to say to Audrey. But why didn’t you think about all of this before leaving Audrey.”
Wanda says with tears in her eyes.
“James thank you for being honest with us but Audrey is moving on from all of this. We can talk with her but like Wanda said why didn’t you talk with her before you walked out on her?”
Nat moves the pillows aside. With a serious face she stands up walks over to the window.
“Nat, Wanda I don’t know. I ask myself that question everyday. I messed up, I lost the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. She walked away from me like I was a stranger to her.”
“There’s never a day that goes by that I don’t think about her?”
“I just want another chance. Audrey won’t talk to me. And I don’t know where she is?”
“I’ve tried to look for but she’s a reclusive person and just finding out she’s a shape shifter too. She blends in.”
Nat and Wanda look at each other thinking the same thing.
“Wands don’t say anything about Audrey seeing the guy Eddie.”
“I’m not gonna say anything to James. Audrey is happy she’s moving on from this mess. I want her to be happy.”
“We can talk to Audrey about what Bucky said to us but just the three of us not Sam. He’s still pissed about Bucky.”
“Okay, aren’t we meeting her for lunch today?”
“Yeah at 12:40pm I think?”
“I’ll text her after this?”
Bucky sat in silence. Staring at the ground waiting for an answer from the Wanda or Nat.
“James we aren’t promising anything but you have to try to make things right with Sam. He sees Audrey like his little sister and he’s protective over Audreys well being. Sam promised Audrey’s Dad that he will look after her when he’s gone.”
“You have to make up with Sam. Before you can see Audrey.”
Bucky leaves Wanda room.
He wonder the halls thinking about what Wanda and Nat said to him. If he was able to make amends with Sam would he be able to talk with Audrey.
But would Audrey give him a second chance.
The sounds around the tower made him feel overwhelmed. He went back to his room grabbing his keys and jacket, with a hat. Just as he was about to leave he sees Wanda and Nat leaving as well.
Instead of taking a walk he decided to follow them.
Watching from a distance he sees her “Audrey” she looks……she looks amazing.
Her hair is a bright red her the way she looks is breathtaking. The way she smiles makes his heart skip a beat.
She walks down the steps meeting up Wanda and Nat they leave walking towards a restaurant he took Audrey to previously.
Bucky crosses the street. He waits for someone to leave Audrey’s apartment building. The chance comes when an elderly woman comes out he sneaks into the building looking at the mailboxes. He quickly finds her name “Audrey W 205”
He stops by her door thinking. Should he be here? Audrey was all he could think about. He picks open her door. The air in the apartment was so intoxicating.
He walked to her bedroom. The feel of the sheets reminded him of when she would lie naked under the silk sheets. She would coo his name he loved when she would tease him. But those days are gone.
Looking around the room he sees some lingerie laying out along side a red dress. With some black heels. Without thinking he picks up the lingerie holding it up he smells it. The smell is like a drug.
Holding the cloth in hand he walks around her room looking around. He goes to her bathroom looking at her vanity. He takes the lingerie back placing back where it was. He takes another look around her room. He leaves her room heading for the living room he sees pictures. A photo album lies out on the coffee table. Its pictures of her father.
His heart shatters at the sight of Audrey and her dad. He remembers the day of the funeral.
He carried her father and help lay him to rest in the ground. This is his mess and he needed a way to fix this.
Before he could say or do anything he hears keys jingling at the door. He quickly closes the photo album placing it back where it was. He goes to the window opening it. Making a quick escape through fire escape. He walks across the street to wait to see if she’s going out with the girls, or to see who her date is?”
3 Hours Go By
Audrey quickly gets ready for her date with Eddie. Nat and Wanda ran into Eddie a few days prior but during the run in with him they gave him Audrey’s phone number. He called her to see if she was available for an early dinner.
Audrey hesitant about the date. She agreed and gave Eddie her address so he could pick her up.
The time was nearing 3:50pm almost 4:00pm she excitedly finished up her touch up on her make up. Just as she was leaving the sounds of someone clearing their throat ruined her moment.
Audrey turned around slowly only to be met with James Buchanan Barnes.
“What do you want James?”
“Audrey please talk to me please?”
“Why James! Tell me why I should stand before you huh why should I ?!”
Why didn’t you tell me?”
“You wanna know why?!”
“You left me! You walked out on me. You abandoned us the day you made the decision to sleep with another woman. I hope she was worth it.”
“Audrey please I’m sorry. I was lost and I was lonely I was drinking and one thing led to another.”
“Wow lost huh and lonely too. James I gave you everything, was my heart not enough, was my body not good enough for you. Was my love and devotion to not enough for you. I healed you when you were so broken and scared. I took your nightmares away when you slept. I did everything for you!”
“I Loved You, I Did!”
“You ripped my heart out when you never came back. I was so broken when you left. I’ve lost everyone I’ve ever loved. My father was my best friend and my home but he’s gone. You were my home, my protector, my heart….”
“Audrey please I know I messed up but please I want another chance please let me fix what I’ve done”
“No….”
Get Out of my way, I have to go now. I’m gonna be late.”
“Late for what Audrey”
“James let me go!”
“No Audrey Late for what”
“Hey! Audrey!”
“Let Her Go, Don’t You Ever Touch Her Like That Again”
“Touch Her Again, You Will Never See Another Day Again!
Eddie pushes Bucky aside. Eddie holds venom back. Venom aggressively wants to make an appearance but Eddie doesn’t want to scare Audrey.
“Eddie let me bite his head off”
“Don’t let him touch her like that. Let me finish him”
Bucky walks away sensing something about Eddie he walks away.
Audrey wipes away her stray tears in hopes Eddie doesn’t see them.
“Audrey are you alright. Did he hurt you?”
“I’m so sorry you saw that. He’s an ex-boyfriend I’m sorry about that.”
“Audrey its alright. Are you okay to still go out. If not we can reschedule.”
“No no I’ve looking forward to this, I want to go out.”
Audrey smiles at Eddie.

Recap-
Audrey declined help from Tony she agreed to stay to get the medical screening just as a precaution. She said her goodbyes to Natasha and Wanda but agreed to keep in contact with them. But before she left Sam gave her a hug. He asked to keep in contact with him. But also to keep every Sunday free for him and the girls to come by to spend the day with her. Audrey happily agreed.
Just as she was leaving it started to rain. She stood at the top of the stairs watching the rain fall. She never told Barnes about their child she lost. No one knew about her child. Only but Wanda she knew it wasn’t her position to bring it up to her but she understood why she kept it to herself.
Bucky stayed away from Audrey but he watched from a distance. He dreamed of her every night the way she laughed, her smile. How it melted his heart. He longed for her touch. Just looking at Audrey he hoped and wished she could give him a chance to fix his mistake. He knew he had to make a move before she moved on. His problem was that everyone avoided him. Steve didn’t want to talk with him. He started taking with Nat about Audrey in hopes that she would sit down with him to talk over coffee. Natasha talked with Steve but she told him he’d have to wait. She’s gone through enough and she needs time to recover.
Sam told Audrey to “let him go”.
Audrey stood at the top of the stairs. Staring at the rain as it fell. Tony walked with an umbrella.
“Audrey you can always stay here. You don’t have to rush out of here.”
“I know Tony, you’re very generous.” Audrey smiled.
“Look kid, I know you’ve been through alot. But don’t let Manchurian Project stop you from moving on and falling in love again. Trust me you’ll find yourself again.”
Tony hugged Audrey one last time before she departed. Happy helped her into the car. As they left Bucky ran pass Tony outside. He was too late as the car left. Tony scoffed loud enough so Bucky could hear him before he walked back inside.
Bucky sat in the rain watching Audrey leave him in the dust.
3 1/2 Months Later
Audrey found herself an apartment 3 months before She woke up looking at the time it was 7:40 am. She went to the living room with a cup of tea she got herself settled in but only to realize she had forgotten what day it was.
Today was Sunday.
How could she have forgotten. Sam, Wanda and Natasha were all waiting at the cafe they all agreed to meet up. But Audrey was running late she quickly gotten dress she rushed out of place. Running down the street as she got closer she ran into Wanda who was standing outside.
“Fashionable Late As Usual”
“Well my apologies Scarlet Witch” Audrey says with a smirk, she giggles walking in.”
Audrey walks to the door but she turns quickly back facing Wanda. She realizes she left her purse back at home. Audrey sighs with a smile. She pushes her back against the door she turns around but she bumps into someone. The sounds of something spilling is all she hears.
“Oh my gosh. Let me help you. I’m so sorry, I’m so clumsy. Let me get- “
Before she could finish her sentence. His smile catches her attention. Lost in thought Audrey spaces out just looking at him. Wanda snaps her out of her trance.
“Audrey?”
When he looks up from the ground he is awestruck by her………
“My name is Eddie. The coffee is alrig- ” Eddie scratches the back of his head smiling.
“Audrey my name is Audrey sorry” she smiles at Eddie.
Both awestruck with each other they glance at each other exchanging smiles.
Audrey finally breaks the trance she moves out of the way so Eddie could walk by her.
Eddie can’t respond to her. She’s so pretty. His thoughts are consumed by her beauty.
But that moment is broken by his campion.
“Loser! Hey Turd! I’m Still Here You Know!”
Eddie continues ignoring Venom.
“Loser Your Pancreas Looks Delicious”
Then we’re back Eddie finally acknowledges Venom he clears his throat before speaking to Audrey.
“My name is Eddie, Eddie Brock”
“Yes you told me your name already.” Audrey smiles and giggles at him.
I’ll see you around. He leaves her with a smile.
Just that smile melts Audrey heart.
But she stood there awestruck. She realizes she didn’t get his number. But no worries the girls will definitely do a little detective work after breakfast.
“Eddie Brock…….” she sighs with a smile while blushing…..

Recap
Audrey fainted after the attack from the Hydra Soldiers. Lin and Dundee made in time. Audrey lost in her dream like state. She dreams of black matter. Its almost as its alive. Its almost comforting to her. But what does it mean?
Lin and Dundee find Audrey but she has fainted. Lin rushes to Audrey side. She checks if she still has a pulse, Dundee watches Lin he holds his breathe in hopes she didn’t hurt herself. Lin exhales loudly she chuckles silently. She looks over to Dundee.
“She’s all right. We need to head back to camp and hide out there till nightfall again.”
Dundee kneels down he scoops us Audrey. They rush back to the cave to everyone else. As they return the other mutants frantically rush to Lin.
Lin casts a fire ball to the pile of woods in the center. There a campfire is lit. Dundee sets Audrey body down at she’s sleeping one of the children walks over to heal the small scratches on her face and arms, legs.
Lin and Dundee taking watch as everyone sleeps.
“We must wait till nightfall then we’ll leave.”
-Nightfall-
Audrey awakens in the cave. She panics forgetting where she is. Lin quickly rushes over to soothe her from her sleepy state.
“Lin what happened, is everyone okay. Why am I covered in blood?”
“Audrey you’re safe no one is hurt. That isn’t your blood. Its from the Soldiers.”
“No, no, no, no I promised myself I would never transform ever again. I always lose control. I should have never……-?
“Audrey stop! You saved us. All of us. You gave us the time to hide everyone and you scared the remaining soldiers half to death.
*Lin Chuckles*
“Audrey you saved us all. Thank You.”
“We have to leave now. We can’t stay here too long”
Lin, Audrey and Dundee gathered everyone together to leave the cave.
As everyone was walking out they didn’t see that a trap had been set for them.
Lin and Audrey were the last to get out. Dundee sensed there was danger. He heard a gun fire he ran to Lin pushing her out of the way. The shot rang loudly in everyone’s ears.
Blood sprayed in Lin’s face. She watched horror as Dundee smiled at her. Rage filled her heart. Her eyes burned a red. The ground a tremble, her body engulfed in flames. Her cries of pain sent a shock wave that burned everything in its path. Disintegrating every last soul that wanted to harm them.
Lin fell her knees cradling Dundee in her arms. Tears drip onto face.
“Lin don’t cry please. Lin I love the way you smile and laugh. Don’t feel sad for me. Keep smiling and laughing. I’ll see you again.
He cradle Lin’s cheek before he drew his last breath.
The bullet that kill Dundee were specifically made for him. No other bullets could pierce his flesh.
Everyone gathered around Lin and Dundee. All the mutants tried their best to heal Dundee but the wound wouldn’t heal. And no one could reverse death.
Audrey cried holding Dundee’s hand.
The pain of losing someone was all too familiar to her.
Lin didn’t want to let him go.
“Lin I’m so sorry but we have to go.”
“I know Audrey. But Dee made me promise him that if anything were to happen to him. He wanted to be cremated. So that they wouldn’t dissect him.”
Lin created a marble size fireball she put the marble into his chest wound. She laid him down on the forest floor she watched as Dundee body glowed red then to ashes. The cold north wind scattered his ashes.
“Goodbye My Friend, Till We Meet Again”
What Lin and Audrey didn’t realize was that the Avengers were on there way. Due to the explosion that happened earlier during the riot. It pinpointed the secret location of the Hydra Base Tony had been searching.
During this Mission everyone voted that Steve and Bucky needed to sit this one out. Due to the tension within the group. They need to figure out their current situation. Sam was becoming anxious and worried about Audreys whereabouts. In the meantime Natasha searched for Audrey. All of her leads leading to dead ends. They became concern as well. But nothing would prepare them for the reunion they were about to have in the moments coming.

Audrey met Eddie Brock at a cafe.
Both of them lost in a trance. Venom broke the moment annoyed with Eddie.
Just before he walks away he turns around to look at Audrey again. With a smile he walks back to work. All he could think of was her “Audrey”.
Mesmerized by her smile he continues smiling to himself.
Eddie Brock
“Don’t forget the chocolate and tater tots”
“Why are you smiling so much. Oooh I see?”
“Thats the face of a man in love”
“Audrey”
“Are we gonna see her again”
“Did you just say we?”
“Yes Loser, we share the same body.”
“I want to see her again. But I didn’t get her number, just her name.”
“Yeah, because you didn’t listen to me, you were to busy staring like a loser,” Venom laughs
“Can we go out to eat tonight?”
“We can but on one condition.”
“If we see Audrey again, you have to stay quiet.”
“Fine its a deal. But I still want tater tots and chocolate.”
“Okay, we’ll stop by Mrs. Chen’s before we go home.”
“Don’t be late again loser”
Eddie sighs.
Back at the Tower
“Barnes there’s a reason why she doesn’t want anything to do with you leave her alone.”
Tony sighs pinching the bridge of his nose. Looking up at the ceiling. Then looking back at Barnes.
“Look Tony I know I messed up. Please just let me talk to her. I know you know where she is please let me see her…………”
“Manchurian Project No”
Bucky begged. Trying to get his pleas across to Tony.
“Stop calling me that!”
Bucky face got red and he shouted at Tony with his fist clenching.
“Okay, what do you prefer huh?”
“He-Man”
“Robo-Cop”
“Snow White”
“Mr.Ice”
Tony chuckles at the nicknames he comes up with.
Bucky stomps off angry that no one in the tower takes him seriously. He goes to the kitchen for water but he runs into Wanda and Sam.
Sam gives him a glare of disgust. With no word he walks out immediately towards the gym.
Wanda on the other hand stays to have a chat with the Winter Soldier.
“Why did you cheat in the first place Barnes”
“I don’t want to talk about it Witch”
“Look I’m just asking thats all? If you don’t want to talk then by all means stay in silence.”
Before Wanda could walk away. Bucky tells her to wait. Holding back his tears he agrees to talk with Wanda but only if they talk in private. She agrees to his terms. They go for a walk in the nearby park.
“It started with working late here at the tower. I uh- I met Kayla when I went on the overnight mission. We came back late and I decided to stay here at the tower. We had a few drinks there was touching involved then things got out of hand. We agreed it was a mistake and to never speak of it again. But it started happening more and I forgotten about Audrey. She was always working but she always called to see if I was coming home. I saw Kayla more often. I don’t know why i did it. Just that Kayla………………it should have never happened. When Steve found out I saw the disappointment in his face. I made him swear not to tell Audrey.” “The more I snuck around I didn’t stop to think of Audrey”
“She never said anything hurtful to me ever. And I cheated on her. I abandoned her for a lousy one night stand.”
“That is why Wanda I have to see her. I want to apologize to her for what I did to her” “I need to see her” “i know I messed up. But I want her back”
“I’m sorry James, but Audrey has to heal too in her own way. If you seek her out now she might hurt you.”
“Give her space and time. If she wants to see you then she will but if she doesn’t then you have to let her go too.”
“Wanda………-never mind I can’t sit here and wait I have to find her”
“James wait”
“Look Witch Stay Out Of My Head and Stay Out Of My Way!”
Bucky stomps off angry at everyone. He takes the situation into his own hands. Everyone at the tower won’t tell him where Audrey is at. He decided he’s gonna look for her.
Back At Audrey’s Place
Audrey sits by her window watching the rain fall. All she can think about is Eddie. His smile the way he blushed at her.
But wait she knew if this was gonna become anything she wanted to take things very slow. But god she hated herself for not getting his number. Audrey sighs with regret heading to make a cup of tea but a knock on her door interrupts her thoughts about Eddie.
Who could that be she wonders
She opens her door to find Sam standing there with Chinese takeout.
“Aww Sam how thoughtful of you. Come in.”
They sit down to eat in the living room. But Sam has a little smirk on his face while eating.
“Oh No?, What did do know?”
“Nothing Girl, I’m just happy to see that your happy. But tell me about the guy you were so Awestruck About.”
“Oh God.”
“Not You Too”
“No Sam No”
“Honey Bee Please with a Pouty Lip”
“Sam stop, I’m serious, No”
Audrey looks away giggling.
Sam continues giving her his frowning face with a pouty lip.
“Okay fine, fine his name is Eddie”
“Awwww Sam he’s so CUTE!”
“The way he smiles Awwwwww it made me blush and my heart skipped a beat.”
“There we go”
“Eddie Is his name”
“Last name?”
“Brock”
“That’s all the info I need thank you Audrey Darling for the info now I can look him up and see the type of person he is”
“Aww No Sam Please Don’t Embarrass Me In Front Of Everyone”
“Audrey Darling I would never, I- I just don’t want you to get hurt thats all.”
“Thank You Sam. But if this turns into something I’m gonna take it slow I can’t go through that again.”
Audrey gets up holding her stomach crying.
“Audrey? What? Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I’m so sorry Sam I couldn’t tell you but I carried his child in me when he abandoned me. He left me.”
Audrey starts crying hysterically
“He abandoned me Sam!”
“I tried to be strong but it was my fault I lost our baby”
“I thought everything was alright…………*hiccups* why me….I did everything right but my baby is gone.”
Audrey struggles to breathe she cry’s hysterically in Sam’s arms.
“Audrey breathe. It wasn’t your fault do you hear me. It wasn’t your fault. None of it was. You’re gonna be a great mother someday. Audrey look at me it wasn’t your fault.
Sam continues holding her sitting on the ground. He calls Wanda and Natasha to see if one of them will stay with Audrey.
Sam filled with rage. All of his anger radiated off of him like fire.
He left Audrey’s place swiftly out for blood.
James is gonna pay.
Sam got to the tower. Rushed to the elevators picked his floor. He stomped his way pass everyone asking for Bucky.
Finally someone pointed him in the right direction.
The Gym
Bucky mindless punching away at the punching bag. Steve on the opposite side of the room training with Clint and Tony. They see Sam throw open the doors he walks over to Bucky. Then all hell breaks loose.
Sam calls out to Bucky
“Winter Soldier”
Bucky didn’t like it when anyone called him Winter Soldier.
“Did you know? Did you fucking know Barnes!”
Steve rushes over to try to deescalate the situation but Tony stops him.
“Did I know What Sam!”
“Don’t you lie to me Winter!”
“Lie About What Sam!”
“Did you know she was pregnant when you abandoned her!”
“What!”
Bucky wipes his face. Lost in his emotions and thoughts. He doesn’t realize Sam is swinging at him.
“You’re a Coward. You’re Nothing.!!!”
Sam continues whaling on Barnes face. Sam quickly stands up while Barnes is on his hands and knees he kicks him in the stomach. Sam jumps back on him punch his face over and over. Till Sam knuckles start to Bruise and Bleed. Blood is every where. Barnes manages to thrown Sam off of him. But he tackles him again. Pinning him down in a chokehold position. Tony finally moves out of the way. Steve rushes over he manages to pull Sam off of Barnes.
Bucky lays there coughing. Trying to open his eyes all he sees is the blood clouding his vision.
Sam struggles to get out of Steve hold.
“You’re a fucking coward. You’re not a man.”
“She deserves better.”
“Stay Away From Her”
Bucky struggles to get up. Clint rushes over to help but Bucky collapses to the ground. The beating made him blackout. Bruce rushes to the gym when Jarvis notified him.
Bucky realizes he fucked up not only he abandoned her but his unborn child as well. He was now determined to find Audrey.

Recap-Bucky had started his search for Audrey. Holding the letter she had left him he couldn’t face the truth that was before him. He messed up all for a one night stand that went too far. Audrey captured by the Hidden Enemy Hydra. They had been watching and waiting for the right moment to strike. She held onto her secret for so long now she has to reveal herself. Will she escape or be a lab rat for a mad scientist. Dealing with so much trauma she had to put everything on hold. Will she ever be the same. Will the Avengers find her in time.
He didn’t know Audrey was a mutant?
He left Stark Tower determined to find her in hopes of making things right.
Back At The Hydra Base
Audrey was already planning her escape. Little did she know the some other mutants that were held captive there they too plan for a riot as a distraction to escape the hell they been living in.
Audrey awakens with a jolt. She tries to get up from metal table but the metal latches on her wrist and ankles prevent her from moving. She wasn’t wearing her blue jump suit anymore she was wearing a hospital gown. The cold air cover her body with goosebumps. The coldness of the table numb her body. Audrey looked around the room no one was around just dead silence.
“Hello, is anyone there?” “Hello!”
There was no answer but the sound of an explosion rang throughout the hall and room she was laying in. Audrey screamed out for help. In hopes someone would hear her.
The sounds of an Alarm Blaring so loud throughout the halls and rooms. Audrey knew this was her chance to escape. This was an opportunity she couldn’t miss.
The sound of Soldiers yelling in Russian or German filled the halls outside. The sounds of people yelling and screaming terrified her. Audrey gain some momentum by shifting her body back and forth in hopes of moving the table. With sheer luck the table fell on its side. The latches on Audreys right side became undone. She had to move quickly to release herself from that metal latches. A small tray laid on the ground within arms reach. She tried to grab the scalpel but is was inches away from her finger tips. The sounds of boots running towards her room warned her that they were coming.
Audrey took a deep breath in and out. She had to make a decision.
Audrey turned towards the table with her right hand she dislocated her left thumb she pulled her hand through. She pushed her thumb back in place.
Audrey muffled her cries.
She turned quickly pulling the table towards her, she reached for the scalpel. She managed to pick the latch off of her ankle. Freeing herself she ran towards the double doors.
Smoke and dust filled the air, concrete debris covered the grounds in the hall. Unable to see she ran towards the sounds of people talking. As soon as she got near the voices a large figure in the dark ram into her side throwing her against the wall. Audrey coughing awhile holding her side trying to see who ran into her. A large creature like man kneeled down to her. He quickly scooped her up and ran down the halls with her the sounds of voices followed them. Before any of the prisoners could step out of the halls to the stairs that were leading upwards to metal doors.
A voice in the darkness carried a fire ball illuminating the area. The woman that carried the fireball had a key she was removing everyones collars one by one.
Audrey was next they removed the collar. The man that resemble a lizard put her down asking her if she was alright. The woman with the fireball spoke to Audrey.
“I’ve never seen you before, you must be new. My name is Lin.”
“Audrey, my name is Audrey”
“Well Audrey we’re breaking out of here and I need everyone’s help to get out of here. Alright”
“Yes,what do you need me to do”
“There’s 8 of us and two children. This is Dundee.”
“Dundee huh? Like Crocodile Dun-”
“Yes,Yes look we don’t have time to chat we have to move”
“You and Dundee carry the two children. I’ll lead the group to the tree line. We stay low and stick together.”
As the doors open all hell broke loose. Fires burned the sounds of explosions going off made everyone flinch. Soldiers trying to put out the flames but the overwhelming sounds of people screaming filled the woods.
Audrey looked around but the skies were dark but small pieces of ashes fell from the sky along with tiny white flurries.
Fresh snow cover the ground. Lin lead the group to the safety of the tree line. But the group wasn’t clear of the dangers behind them. One of the Soldier’s noticed the multiple tracks that were leading to the woods. He radioed for back on snow mobiles.
The Soldiers spreading out to cover more ground in search of the mutants.
The child that Audrey was carrying warned the group that the bad men were coming for them.
Audrey volunteered to stay behind and lead them away.
“Lin they are coming. We have to do something.”
“Audrey we stay together. I will not allow this.”
“Lin!! We don’t have much time. I’ll lead them away. I promise I’ll catch up with you guys”
“Fine! Fine! Audrey please be safe alright. Be safe!”
The child on Audreys back touched her head to give her a visual map of their destination.
Audrey put out her hands she created doppelgängers of the group that followed her in the opposite direction to lead the Hydra Soldiers. Lin and everyone else hid in a ditch. They waited till the Soldiers passed by.
Once the coast cleared Lin and her group ran for the river that was nearby.
Lin kept looking back in hopes that Audrey wouldn’t be too far behind.
Audrey and the doppelgängers ran till they reached a cliffs edge. The sounds of the Soldiers grew closer and Audrey was ready to accept her fate.
The Soldiers surrounded her at the cliffs edge. They all had their weapons drawn on them. One of the Soldiers came forward smiling at Audrey.
“Look hear Sweetheart you’re gonna step away from the edge and come with us.”
“No”
“You don’t have a choice Sweetheart. Either come with us or this is where your little attempt to escape ends here. I’ll be sure to make an example of you to everyone else here.”
Audrey laughed. With a swipe of her hand the doppelgängers disappeared. She continued smiling at the soldiers. She closed her eyes but before opening them. The atmosphere around them turned ominous. Within a blink of an eye Audrey held the man’s heart in her hands before him. The Soldiers that surrounded her stared in horror.
Lin and Dundee had taken the kids down the rivers edge and hid them in a cave. Lin and Dundee got so worried about Audrey they decided to search for her.
They ran through the woods in hopes nothing bad happen to her. But Lin and Dundee heard the screams of men getting closer to them.
Running towards the sounds of the screams. They weren’t prepared for the bloody massacre that had taken place.
Audrey stood facing towards the cliffs edge covered in blood. Her eyes filled with Rage. She turned around facing Lin. She take a few steps towards Audrey. But Audrey fainted before Lin got closer to her.
Audrey’s world went dark once again.

Part 1

Nothing had gone how James planned. All he could think about was the man that threatened him. Something about him seemed off. But James could pinpoint what he felt during that short period of time.
Meanwhile on the Date
“I’m so sorry you had to see that?”
Audrey sighs looking down at her hands. She tries to calm herself. But her hands kept trembling.
“Audrey?”
“Hey hey its alright. You’re safe now.”
Eddie tries his best to comfort her.
“.Maybe tater tots and chocolate might help calm her down”
Eddie ignores Venom.
Just watching her made him sad for her but his blood boiled after what happened with her ex. Venom didn’t like the fact he laid his hands on Audrey. Venom so badly wanted to make an appearance. But he thought about Eddie.
“Audrey we can some place else. I know a great place but its hidden”
Audrey looks up with a smile. Yes I would like that.
They leave the restaurant. Not know where Eddie was taking her she was fond at the idea.
Just as they arrived Venom noticed a flower cart nearby. Without saying anything to Eddie he snatched up a bouquet of flowers for Audrey.
“We’re here Audrey. I know we were supposed to have dinner at Peachtree. I-“
“Ta-Da”
Venom made his unexpected appearance holding the bouquet of flowers 💐
Not knowing what to do. Eddie stood before Audrey not knowing what to say. Worried that she would scream or run.
Audrey stood there quietly. Before she started laughing at the way Eddie’s face dropped.
“Eddie its alright. Look its alright its nothing shocking for me. I’m friends with the Avengers and I’ve met a few special people with different abilities. Its alright.”
“I’m not afraid.”
“Whats his name your companion?”
“What did she call me?”
“His name is Venom
“She called you companion. Its another word for friend.”
“Okay, I like the sound of that? Companion”
“He’s a Symbiote”
“Symbiote”
“Okay, Venom could you give us the evening just Me and Eddie please.”
“Hmmm only if I get Tater tots and Chocolate.”
“He said only if I get him tater tots and chocolate this evening.”
“Sure thing. I’ll remind Eddie. Thank you Venom”
“I like her Eddie.”
“I do too.”
“Whats that?”
“Oh nothing, just talking with Venom”
“Shall we then”
She says with a smile.
“Audrey I know this isn’t how the evening was suppose to go. But why didn’t you run off scared. I mean like a normal person would have freaked out and ran.”
“I like you Eddie. You’re cute and sweet to me. I want to get to know you.”
“Okay. Well you up for Ramen”
“Lin’s Kitchen”
“How do you know of this place?”
Audrey says with excitement in her voice.
“I always come here when I have bad days or when I’m in the mood”
Eddie smiles at Audrey.
“My dad use bring me food from here. I’ve never been here but seeing the sign made me think of my dad and the days I spent with him when he was around.”
“I miss him everyday. He was my best friend.”
“I’m sorry for your loss Audrey.”
“Aww its okay Eddie. But thank you for bringing me here. Lin’s Kitchen is comfort food for me.”
Eddie goes up to the window to order food. Audrey sits at the table waiting for Eddie to return. The flowers and the surprise date. Was a thing she never got to experience. Bucky was always working and he was never home.
Back at the Avengers Tower.
Bucky pushed pass everyone walking straight to his room. He changed into his gym clothes he then headed to the gym to take his anger out of the punching bags.
Steve watched him leave his room headed to the gym. He followed him to the gym entrance but Nat stopped him.
“We need to talk?”
“Sure, ladies first”
Steve followed behind Nat. They came to the library where no one was around.
“What did you want to talk about?”
“Tony wants Audrey to stay here at the tower. It’ll be safer for her to be here, since what happened with hydra.”
“Okay, but what about Buck?”
“That’s what I wanted to talk to you about?”
“Audrey wants nothing to do with him. Sam is still upset about everything. He’s refusing to stay here.”
“I understand why Audrey doesn’t want to stay here. But I think it’s best if she stays where she’s at now. It’s too painful to see them around each other.”
“Last night Buck didn’t get much sleep. I stayed with him last night. The nightmares are back they are much worse now. I was thinking about T’challa offer. But I’m not sure if Buck wants to do it.”
“Where’s Audrey?”
“She’s around, look Steve I don’t think it’s best if you see her now. She’s healing and moving on, give her time and she’ll contact you when she’s ready.”
“You’re right Nat”
“I’ll talk with Buck.”
“Kayla ran into me in the lobby earlier. I thought Buck and her weren’t official.”
“She gave this to me. Thought you might know anything about it?”
“No, why is she back. I thought she left when Buck ended things with her.”
“Nat I’m not sure what else to say about everything that happened. I should’ve done something or said something.”
“I better get back. I have a meeting in 15mins. I’m gonna drop this off in Bucks room.”
“Sure thing”
Nat walked over to the window. She takes out her phone she texts Audrey.

Steve was on his way back to his room to gather his files for his meeting he thought of the letter Nat gave to him. Everything that happened with Kayla and Buck should have never happened. Just the thought of it made him sick to his stomach. The promise he made to Audrey’s father ate away at him everyday.
He promised Audrey’s father that he would protect and watch over her.
Steve wanted to fixed the mistakes he made but most of all to make amends with her. Looking at his watch he only had 5 mins before his meeting started. He quickly gather his things, he slipped the letter under Bucks door into his room.
Bucky finished up his workout. He first headed towards the kitchen to get water and something to eat before he went back to his room. Bruce and Tony sat in the kitchen talking about a project they were starting on.
“Hey Robocop did you want anything in particular to eat this evening. We’re getting take out.”
Buck didn’t like the nicknames that Tony called him. He walked out of the kitchen without saying a word.
When he opened his door he noticed the envelope on the ground. As he picked it up his heart stopped for a moment. All he could think about was it from Audrey?
Dear,James
I wanted to talk to you in person about everything that happened but I can’t face you.
I knew about Audrey from the beginning. In your drunken state you told me about her. I wanted to be her. I wanted a real relationship with you James. I wanted to be someone you needed in your life. All the sneaking around was fun and all but I wanted us to be official. I knew you still loved her. I wanted you to love me the same way you did with her. But in the end you made your choice. She is beautiful. I have seen her a few times. Some of my former colleagues told me about her, i have to admit i was jealous. Now i see why you didn’t want to leave her.
It never occurred to me why you cheated?
But deep down i knew we weren’t gonna last. It felt real when we would go to Peachtree together. I hope you find happiness.
We are both responsible for our actions. And I’m sorry about everything.

Just the thought of Kayla made Bucky sad. He used her for sex she was nothing more to get his frustration out. But it never occurred to him why he decided to cheat. He sat on his bed looking out the window. He remember Audrey had downloaded some music on his phone when she would stay with him. He decided to plug it in and listen to it. As the songs played he fell asleep dreaming of her.

The Days Turned Into Weeks Then Months
Audrey had continued to see Eddie. The more they saw each other, Venom had became more comfortable about showing himself.
Eddie had fallen head over heels in love with Audrey. Venom had denied that he didn’t care but some days he would help Eddie plan for date night.
Wanda and Nat had noticed a change in Audrey. She had a glow to her when she would meet up with them for lunch or shopping.
Sam was out of town for a few days but he got in contact with Nat letting her know he wanted to meet up with the gals at their favorite cafe.
Nat chuckled at Sam for saying “Gals” he was laughing on the other end. He missed them very much.
“I’ll let Wanda and Audrey know, we’ll see you tomorrow Sam.”
“Thanks Nat, Bye”
The next morning Audrey had gotten up early to get dressed for the day. She was so excited to see Sam again. Its been a few weeks since she last saw him.
Before Audrey could run out of her apartment there was a knock.
Who could it be? The time read 7:36am it was quite early for any visiting her. Also no one called or texted they were coming over. With hesitation she transformed just in case.
As she reached for the handle a voice on the other side said.
“June Floral Delivery”
Audrey opened the door cautiously. Stood before her a man with a floral delivery uniform holding a bouquet 💐 of flowers.
“Good Morning, could you sign here please.”
“Sure”
“You’re all set. Happy Valentines Day Ma’am.”
“Thank You”
Audrey brought the flowers into her apartment. She set the flowers down she noticed a small envelope hidden in the flowers.
She opened the envelope the card read.
“L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can”
“See you this evening Ms. Hepburn” 🖤
*Nat King Cole* L-O-V-E
Looking at the card Audrey blushed so much she forgotten what she was doing.
Her phone vibrated. A message from Wanda
“Ms Hepburn are you at the cafe? We’re running a bit late this morning we’re on our way.”
“I’m still at home. I’m leaving now”
“Okay. See you soon”
Audrey left her apartment as she was walking down the street she ran into Bucky.
“No I’m not doing this now”
Audrey walked around Bucky. Upset that he was near her apartment.
“Audrey please give me 5 mins to talk please”
“Fine but 3 mins go”
Audrey looks at her watch and her phone. Tapping her fingers on her arms.
“Audrey can we sit down and talk somewhere. I want to talk to you. Please thats all I’m asking.”
“Why?”
“All the talking is done. I have nothing to say to you. You made your choice and I made my own.”
“I’m sorry for hurting you. I should’ve talked to you about what was going on in my head. I just want to sit down with you to talk about everything. And to try to move on from this.”
“Look James, I don’t know what else to say to you. I made my choice I met someone and he’s an amazing man.”
“The guy I saw you leaving with? Audrey there’s something off about him I just want you to be safe. Especially that you were kidnapped by Hydra.”
“I can take care of myself! I don’t need you taking care of me!”
“Look James I made my choice you made your own when you decided to cheat. I wasn’t enough for you. I was alone when I lost our child. ALONE!”
“I had no one around. You were supposed to be there with me. But you weren’t, to make it worst my father, best friend is gone. I lost everyone I loved dearly. So leave me alone.”
Just as Audrey was gonna walk away Bucky grabbed her arm. She transformed grabbing Bucky by the neck pushing him into an alleyway. She lifted him off the ground. Her piercing red eyes stared at Bucky her fangs stuck out.
“Touch me again, I swear to you it’ll be the last time you lay another finger on me.”
Audrey dropped him to the ground fixing her coat and hair she walks forward but looks back to Bucky.
“Come near me again. I’ll make sure you don’t have your shiny arm.”
“Stay away from me and him”
Audrey left to meet up with Sam, Wanda and Nat at their favorite cafe.

Recap
Audrey rescued by the Avengers. She couldn’t face Bucky not now or ever. He left her when she needed him the most. On the way back in the Quinjet she thought more about her father. The encouragement he gave her was all she ever needed. But now life is much harder with him gone.
But with Bucky at her side things almost seemed perfect. So yeah they had a few bumps here and there they always resolved their issues together. But this time it he messed up. Not willing to face Audrey he walked away from her.
Present
Audrey sat in the Quinjet thinking about everything that had happened. Lost in her thoughts.
Wanda watched from a distance. She eventually started a conversation with Audrey Telepathically.
“Hello Audrey my name is Wanda is it okay if we talk awhile.”
“Yes, Wanda”
“Born a mutant right?” Wanda asks
“Yeah, both of my parents normal. My mom left when I was 5. My dad raised me on his own. He was my best friend.” Audrey sighs looking down.
“I’m sorry for your lost. I lost my parents and my brother too.” Wanda says in a sad tone
“I’m sorry. I know that pain all to well.” Audrey quickly wipes her stray tears away.
“Its hard but I’m taking it day by day” Wanda looks down.
“You don’t have to hide, I’ve seen your true form Audrey.” Wanda says sympathetically.
“I’ve done it for so long I’ve gotten use to it. It comforts me knowing I can be almost normal guess.” Audrey chuckles.
“I know how you feel being different and all. We’re all different in our own ways. We all have scars and stories behind them.” Wanda says with a smile.
“Yeah…”
“Are you gonna stay awhile with us at the tower.”
“No, I’m sorry its……it’s complicated”
“Is it Bucky, I’m sorry if you don’t want to talk about it.”
“Yes it is. I’m sure Sam or Steve told you guys by now. James infidelity.”
“Sam told us. I’m sorry you went through that. Why didn’t you share with us that you were a mutant.”
“I didn’t feel like I could trust anyone with my secret. And I put up a barrier around myself from being detected.”
“Wow. I never detected anything when you came around.”
“Yes. I’m sorry to interrupt but I’m exhausted. I’m gonna take a nap. I don’t plan on staying at the tower. My father has an estate I can stay at.”
“No problem Audrey. I’ll wake you when we get closer.”
Audrey falls asleep during the flight back to the tower. Tony and Natasha get in contact with the medical team. Having them on stand by for the mutants. Tony offers them shelter for the mean time. Professor Xavier has been notified of the mutants that have been rescued. Tony agreed that Lin and the others could stay with Xavier.
As the jet started to get near the tower Wanda woke Audrey and the others up. She stood up stretching before Tony had everyone sit down and buckle up for landing.
As the door opened and the ramp was lowered. Her stomach turned almost making her sick. She was nervous about being back at the avengers tower.
Sam helped her stand. They started talking and laughing as they walked out together.
As she got to the ramp. All hell broke loose and all the emotions came running back to her at full force.
Nothing had prepared her for this moment.
Bucky and Steve avoided each other. After the whole fight with Sam he can’t barely look in the mirror. All he could think about was Audrey.
Where did things go wrong?
Why did he start seeing Kayla?
All he could do was question his every thought. Audrey didn’t deserve the heart ache. Bucky wished he could take it all back. Reverse the damage he caused. He tried to bargain with Stephen Strange in hopes he could reverse everything. Stephen denied his request. He told him its a selfish decision.
“Audrey had every right to leave. If you knew everything from what she went through then only you would understand the pain. She suffered enough. Stop hurting her.”
“Let her go…”
Those words from Stephen pierced Buckys heart.
Was he right?
Did James need to let Audrey go?
But what did he mean?
“I needed to know the pain she went through? Was there more to the breakup?
Was there something she kept from him?
All these questions piled up in his head.
Lost in his mind Bucky strolled the halls of the tower. Until Jarvis notified him that everyone have returned. He knew everyone was mad at him. Despite all that he decided to greet everyone at the helipad.
As the doors opened he saw Tony and Natasha walk out first. Then Wanda but she wasn’t alone. She carried a child in her arms walking down the ramp. Then Sam with “Audrey”
It couldn’t be.
How could this be?
But how?
Why?
Was she hurt?
All he wanted to do was run to her and hold on to her and never let her go. But given the circumstances he had no right to approach her. He was a coward. A pathetic excuse of a man.
But she wasn’t alone. She was accompanied by Sam
The way he stood by her. Made Bucky’s blood boil.
Lost his thoughts Steve walked by to approach the team but most of all he wanted to apologize to Audrey. The guilt of hiding his friend infidelity secret ate at him. In hopes Audrey would accept his apology he approached her.
Audrey saw Bucky her heart ached from the pain he caused. She couldn’t see him. When Steve approached her. Audrey had a panic attack.
She fell to her knees gasping for air desperately. Sam desperately trying to help. He couldn’t help her he started crying trying to calm himself he couldn’t bare it. Natasha held back her tears cradling Audrey in her arms. But Audrey cried for her fathers help. Audrey fell apart in front of everyone. Audrey called out for her father in hopes he would come and save her.
Wanda rushed over placing her hand to Audreys right temple give her a vision of her father. Only then Audrey calmed down.
Bucky rushed over in hopes he could assist on someway. But Tony held him back.
“This isn’t the time. You need to keep your distance Manchurian Project”
Without saying a word Bucky stopped. Watching from a distance his heart broke at the sight of Audrey falling apart. This was all his fault and he needed to find a way to make things right.
Audrey fell asleep in Natasha arms. Wanda kept her in a hypnotic state. Dreaming of her father gave her peace. Wanda’s heart broke when she saw all the memories of Audrey and her father.
Left in her dream like state. Tony had to address the elephant in the room. Steve and Bucky.
And the Infidelity.
2 Days Later-
Audrey still sleeping. She dreamed of her father.
Audrey awakens in a blank white room. She takes her time looking around the room. She realizes its a hospital. Bruce walks in with his clipboard to check on her vitals. To Bruce surprise he smiles at Audrey.
“You’re awake, how do you feel?”
“I’m okay Dr. Banner”
“Just Bruce, Audrey no need for formalities” Bruce chuckles.
“No problem”
“Your vitals look good and you’re test results came back normal. There’s no need to keep you here any longer.”
“Bruce I would like to leave now. If that’s possible”
“Yeah sure, let me notify Tony”
“Okay”
Jarvis notifies Tony discreetly.
Tony tries to talk Audrey into staying with them. But she refuses to stay.
Tony offers her resources but she declines everything.
Audrey’s father has resources that he set aside for her. Her father left her a home.
Audrey left bidding Natasha and Wanda goodbye.
She agreed to keep in contact with everyone.
This was her chance to start new.

“We have been watching you Ms. Winters.”
“What do you mean you’ve been watching me, I’ve done nothing wrong all I remember was moving and looking out the window”
Audrey realized that the day she moved out James apartment was the last thing she remembered.
The voice on the intercom changes. A woman starts speaking.
“Ms. Winter stand in the yellow box in the center of the room.”
Audrey refused to move to the center of the room. She wanted to know why she is being held captive. But how did they know she is a mutant.
The intercom shuts off. The room goes dark then a red light appears on the glass in front of her showing her reflection.
How could this be?
What stood before her?
Her true form….all these years of hiding herself she forgotten what she looked like.
Without any warning a surge of an electrical charged shocked Audrey into submission.
Audrey collapsed to her knees coughing and grabbing her neck trying to pull the collar off.
*Audrey Coughing and Gasping for Air*
“What is this”
“Get this fuckin collar off of me. I swear I’ll-…”
*Electrical Charged Shocked Her Again*
“Ms. Winters we can keep doing this however long you like? If you like us to stop, I’d advise you to do as you’re told.”
Audrey slowly crawled towards the yellow box in the center of the room where she manage to sit herself up. She didn’t want them to know she was crying. The day James left her she promised herself she will never let anyone get the best of her. And never let them hurt her again.
Audrey manage to stand up straight she looked forward to the glass.
“Very Good Ms. Winters we are ready to begin.”
The glass wall before her opened a doorway that led to another door.
Audrey proceed to the opening. Cautiously she walked forward. The door opened.
The blinding bright lights strained her eyes once again. But the ice cold gust of wind chilled her to the bone. She was not prepared for the sight before her.
The symbol she knew all too well.
“Hydra”
*Audrey whispered to herself*
Before she could run a surge of electrical charge stunned her once again but this time the charge was alot stronger then the last one.
Audrey fought to keep her eyes open. She saw more scientists and suits standing before her.
Everything went dark again.
Back at Stark Tower
Bucky sat in his room holding Audrey’s letter. Reading the letter word for word. How could he have so blind by his own selfish ways. He lost the woman he loved most. He spent the past several days trying to call Audrey. He asked around his apartment complex to see if anyone have seen Audrey. With no luck he went back to Stark Tower with regret.
Steve watched Bucky stumble back to his room. He felt ashamed for harboring such a vile secret from Audrey, she deserved better.
Bucky and Steve never told anyone else of the affair. Sam would try to call Audrey but with no luck Sam decided to confront Bucky about Audrey last phone she made to him days prior.
“Hey Steve we need to talk?”
“Sure Sam”
“I’m worried about Audrey have you seen or heard from her lately. She called me a few days ago and I’ve been trying to contact her ever since but it goes straight to voicemail.”
“No Sam I haven’t hear from her yet. Umm have you spoke with Bucky yet”
*Steve rub his nose with thumb looking down not facing Sam*

“Steve, I know how you look when you lie. What’s going on man, tell me?”
Steve proceed to tell Sam everything about the affair that Bucky was having with an employee that worked at Stark Tower.
Sam shocked by the story. He pushed past Steve making his way to Bucky room there he kicked the door open and punched Bucky square in the face. Fueled by rage and sadness for Audrey he jumped on top of the former Winter Solider. Whaling on him Steve grab Sam off Bucky. With his bloody hands Sam tried to escape from Steve hold.
The loud commotion startled Wanda and Natasha they started running towards the argument coming from Buckys room.
Jarvis had notified Pepper and Tony of the altercation that was taking place. They too rushed to the scene.
Thor and Loki were in the gym when they were notified by Jarvis as well they came running to see the fight. Not knowing what the fight was about. Thor and Loki had met Audrey a few times. They had already known of her secret. They vowed to her they will not speak of it until she decides when the time was right.
Bruce was in his lab when Jarvis notified him. He was always shy of Audrey. He adored her from afar. He rushed out to see if anyone needed medical attention.
“How could you do that to Her, Audrey! What’s wrong with you James! She loved you when you were at your lowest. She cared for you when you were injured badly she stayed with you till you better!” “You’re a Fuckin Coward you know that a Coward!!” “She did the right thing on leaving you, You’re Nothing!!!”
“Get off of me Steve. I expected better from you Steve. You lied for him and kept it all a secret from her Audrey. How could you do that to her.” “Why Bucky Why. You ruined everything for a one night stand!!!”
With nothing to say Bucky stood before everyone watching. Sam wiped his tears away and shoved pass everyone. He couldn’t help but cry for Audrey. No words could ever describe how Sam felt her.
No one had anything to say to Bucky or Steve they all watched in disbelief.
Wanda approached him.
“If I had known what was going on then I would have intervened but I couldn’t look into your mind Audrey blocked me” “She isn’t around anymore now I can read your mind now. James you have to talk with her set things right with her. Make amends, Starving yourself isn’t the answer.”
Wanda spoke to Bucky telepathically.
Bucky looked up to Wanda with confusion.
“What do you mean” “Blocked” you out?”
“You didn’t know?”
“She’s a mutant with strong abilities similar to me.”
Bucky immediately went to his bathroom washed the blood off his face grab his motorcycle keys from his stand and grab his jacket and stormed out of his room.
He didn’t know Audrey was a mutant?
He left Stark Tower determined to find her in hopes of making things right.
Back at the Hydra Base
Audrey was already planning her escape. Little did she know the some other mutants that were held captive there they too plan for a riot as a distraction to escape the hell they been living in.
