I opened the mountain door in Tunic! And now I'm decoding the instruction manual's text! One thing that's disappointing but also a huge relief is that

the secret text is actually English, not a special made-up language. I was pacing back and forth wondering how I could possibly figure anything out, and I finally checked an online guide for hints and the hints were. really weird?? Like, "this is the word for sword, but why does it only have 2 characters?" Like what? Why SHOULDN'T it have only 2 characters? That's just the word for sword in this made-up language right? Then one of the hints made it clear that it was supposed to represent the English word "sword", just written in a weird gimmicky way. Once I realized it was all just English, it was smooth sailing.

Still, that's pretty mean to anyone playing the game in a different language. I was even like "well it can't possibly just be English because the text stays the same when you change the language setting" but uh. Nope. I guess just fuck you if you don't know English.

I think it would be funny if a lot of the time when Max was trying stuff out, he would force Wigfrid to be his unwilling 'beta tester' to kind of get a taste of how other survivors might fare against some of his new stuff. Hrrnggg another kind of renkaza au where Kyo is thought to be dead but actually accepted the offer to become a demon by Akaza and disappeared. Senjuro is extremely distraught that he can’t even see his brother’s body- assuming the demon ate it- and decides to continue his training for all the wrong reasons (revenge babeyy). Meanwhile, Kyo has already moved up the ranks to become one of the upper ranks, becoming partners with Akaza and giving them the combined strength that even Kokushibo barely has. I’m sure you can guess how it’ll go with Senjuro finding out his brother lived and became a demon, and the devastation both of them feel when Kyojuro regains his memories, and the way he feels torn between the duty he left behind and the demon he’s regrettably come to love.

It either ends with Kyojuro and Akaza splitting and having a messy reunion in the final battle, or Akaza joining Kyojuro in abandoning the twelve Kizuki and them navigating a very strange “you turned me into a monster, but I let you, but you knew it was wrong, but you were a monster too running on someone else’s orders. We’re so broken and bad for each other, but there were genuine moments of love and affection between us that I can’t leave behind, so I’ll stay with you even if this is wrong” relationship.

a friend of mine sold me a cello for $100* and I'm literally so stoked about it I'm not even sure like. I don't know what to do with it. what do I do first

* for context the only cello I could find for $100 on Facebook marketplace or craigslist was actually an upright bass and it was broken in half
