IF YOU HATE HELLUVA BOSS, HAZBIN HOTEL, AND/OR STOLITZ, DO. NOT. INTERACT. (WITH THIS POST OR MY PAGE)

Okay, I am currently rewatching Helluva Boss, and I just finished S1 Ep7: OZZIE'S, and... How do some people genuinely believe Stolitz is one-sided?

From what I've seen, Blitzø absolutely returns Stolas' feelings, even if he refuses to acknowledge/accept that he does. A lot of people, from what I've seen, have been using Blitzø' words to Stolas in OZZIE'S and his words about Stolas to Fizzarolli in OOPS as arguments for why Blitzø "clearly" doesn't love Stolas back, but my question is, do some of y'all not have basic media literacy?

Sorry if that’s rude, but seriously. There are plenty of clues to how Blitzø is actually feeling during and after these scenes.

1. Blitzø was literally holding back TEARS as he said that in the van scene.

2. He says that Stolas has made it very clear that all it is is Stolas wanting to be fucked. That wording is very distinct and, honestly, says that Blitzø does NOT want it to just be a Fuck Buddies things.

2.5. May I remind everyone that Stolas literally calls Blitzø his "Impish little plaything" in Truth Seekers? And that that likely just confirmed the insecurities we know he was already feeling? (We know he was feeling insecure about his and Stolas' relationship already because of how he reacted in S1 Ep5 to Striker goading him)

3. Literally ALL of what happens after the van scene. Including all of Episode 8. He goes home and cries himself to sleep, and then goes and self-destructs at a party. Bee said it herself that he wasn't drinking to have fun.

4. In S2 Ep6: OOPS, His face when he said it was nothing more than Stolas being horny gives away how hurt he actually is. He is desperately trying to convince Fizz and remind himself that Stolas doesn't want anything more.

Honorary mention that I'm not sure is really a fifth point is him calling Fizz and Ozzie hypocrites.

Moving on from those scenes and onto Blitzø's insecurities about love and his self-worth issues. Blitzø does not believe he deserves love. He does not believe anyone does or can love him. We can see this in how he acts with the people in his life. He pushes them away. He is obsessed with M&M's relationship because they're the only model of a healthy relationship he's ever had, and he wants that with someone. We also can tell because of how he reacts to what Fizz and Verosika say in OZZIE'S.

Blitzø hates himself. He crosses out his face in the pictures hung up in his apartment. He blames himself for an accident that caused his mother's death, his best friend to lose his limbs, and his sister to hate him.

No one was truly there for him after the accident. Fizz may have been crippled, but he had a support system. Blitzø did not, and no one was there to tell him it wasn't his fault.

Not to mention the fact that up until the accident, he was CONSTANTLY being put down and told Fizzarolli was better than him. Even his own father cared more for Fizz than him. Honestly, I'm surprised there isn't any actual animosity towards Fizz on Blitzø's part.

Speaking of the fire and Fizz, Blitzø was planning to confess romantic feelings to Fizz that night before the accident (We know this because of the letter and flower he was holding before the fire started). That likely made it difficult for him to confess his love to someone because if you think his brain wouldn't connect love confessions to the greatest trauma of his life, you're dead wrong.

Brains make weird ass connections when it comes to trauma/traumatic events.

In conclusion, Blitzø loves Stolas, Stolas loves Blitzø, and they both need to heal and get their shit together. Stolitz forever.

I get fairly mean in this one, you've been warned.

I am so sorry, Viv. You can't convince me to see Stolitz as anything beyond a toxic, doomed to fail, train wreck.

I'm SO down for a good toxic ship.

In fact, I found their pilot dynamic far more interesting than the current writing seems to be depicting.

I refuse to feel bad for a man that caught feelings for a childhood """friend""" so hard he ruined his own life. Blitz owes NOTHING to Stolas. He agreed to fuck him so he could run a business that is barely discussed, even though it was the original point of the show.

Does it suck that Stolas had to deal with an arranged marriage that he never wanted with a mean wife? Yeah.

You know what else sucks?

THAT STELLA HAD TO MARRY A MAN SHE NEVER WANTED, AND HAD TO GIVE BIRTH TO HIS CHILD. ALL WHILE HAVING A FUCKING CREEP OF A BROTHER. ALL WHILE BEING TREATED AS A MONSTER BY THE FANDOM THAT CAN'T UNDERSTAND HYPOCRISY IF IT BIT THEM IN THE FACE.

Like yes, she's a cantankerous bitch. But you can't seriously pretend like she isn't also suffering in this relationship. The only difference is she turns her pain into external anger, where as Stolas has been turned into uwu soft bird who can do no wrong.

Even though he destroyed his family in an extremely public way. Octavia is going to have to live with the impact of her father's decisions for the rest of her life. You can't seriously expect me to feel bad for a man that is the agent of his own destruction.

You also can't tell me that Blitz just needs to get over himself just so he can be with a man who's father BOUGHT HIM FOR HIS SON AS A PRESENT.

To reiterate. If this was meant to be read as a terrible toxic arrangement that just keeps happening? I'm down for that. But this is not, and will never be cute or healthy.

Blitz doesn't owe Stolas anything. He keeps up his end of the bargain. It's purely sexual, and just because Stolas can't accept that doesn't make it Blitz's problem.

Stolas needs to learn how to accept rejection and move the fuck on. He knew he would catch feelings and considering he basically has Blitz on a leash, that doesn't make this any less gross.

The fact that he knows Blitz will leave if he's given the power to go to earth on his own proves it.

Blitz has frankly done very little IF ANYTHING to warrant being subjected to this level of obsession on Stolas' part. He's just trying to make a living.

Frankly, if you wanted us to actually think Blitz was interested, you've totally missed the boat with that one. This should have been worked on ages ago and it makes it feel exceptionally rushed and out of character on Blitz's part.

At this point I'm starting to think Fizz and Ozzie are a fluke of good writing in a sea of godsawful shit. Charlie and Vaggie felt like a literal afterthought in their own show. Husk and Angel are so rushed it felt like watching a relationship at double speed. Are we even supposed to think Pen and Cherry are actually a thing? Because if I was Cherry I would have punched Pen for that shit.

Christ. I don't drink but Viv makes me feel like starting.

I have mixed opinions on this. So beforehand, I am going to say that this is a longer post from me, and I appreciate the anonymous message! <3 I will be talking about this specific question, as well as my interpretation, thoughts, and overall feelings on this matter. Please feel free to reblog, like, and comment your opinions and keep it civil. I want to have a friendly discussion, no matter how brash I seem: this is brutal honesty coming from my heart.

For those who have ZERO clue: Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are dark "comedy" shows for an adult audience, created by Vivienne "Vivziepop" Medrano, originally airing on YouTube. Helluva Boss is currently in its second season, while we have yet to find out anything else on Hazbin Hotel, as it is now a part of A24 and BentoBox. They center on the same setting, Hell, but have two different plot lines.

Hazbin Hotel is redemption focused, led by Princess Charlie Morningstar, the daughter of Lucifer. She wants to help the sinners in Hell become good and go up to heaven to avoid the yearly Exterminartion, aka a Purge. Helluva Boss, however, is about a murdering business called I.M.P., with Blitz, Millie, Moxxie, and Loona, going up to Earth with a grimoire that is provided by Stolas of the Ars Goetia, a prince. So here we go, into the Depths and reasoning of this post: the Hatedom. So lo and behold, my answer below.

On one hand, yes. The Hazbin Hatedom is a bit over the top. Yes, people are assholes. However, the Vivziepop stans who don't want to admit their precious senpai Vivziepop has done some pretty fucked up shit in the past. The hate can be unnecessary, but you know what else can be unnecessary? The toxic stans. I follow #vivziepop for certain analysis portrayals and criticism, or just general news. Sometimes people are tiresome. This is no exception.

I am falling out of the fandom because it can be toxic. I enjoy most of the characters, but other than that? Helluva Boss's current writing is NOT good. At all. The latest episode irked me to no end. I'm unimpressed with Seeing Stars. I am not very happy that they are forcing Stolitz down our throats as an "uwu pwease wove us" type of bullshit ship. I would much rather prefer Blitz and Stolas to be friends. I wished Stolas had his pilot personality and not the "uwu im a gay, tragic prince with a shitty wife, feel bad for me" bird we know in the series.

Moxxie in the latest episode is bitchy. He got on my nerves and was pissed at Millie being happy. This girl deserves more screentime (and I'm glad she got some of it) but seriously...Millie is always there for Moxxie, and Moxxie needs to reciprocate.

They made Stella seem stupid, when in reality, and if written properly, she can be a cunning and calculating villain with her brother. We've yet to see how Octavia and Stella interact, but I'm unsure.

I have definitely tried to keep my mouth shut as much as I could on this matter, because when I finally openly admit how I feel, it's not a pretty thing, especially with something that I'm so passionate about. Animation takes time, writing takes time, scripting, acting, everything takes so much time, and this is wasted potential. We can have so much better than just a fan-ficcy type rom-com, dark humor, sexual humor schtick. It's getting annoying, and I fear the worst when it comes to Hazbin Hotel.

Criticism is welcome here! Let me know what I left out. I'm willing to hear other opinions, so long as they're nice. If anons start flooding my inbox and getting mad, anons are off. Anon is a privilege, not a right.

I’ve been thinking about “Just Look My Way” and a few thoughts I wanted to share:

The line “I don’t care that you’re of lower station” on it’s face sounds like Stolas not caring about class and wanting to find love regardless of the wealth or status of his lover. But considering that a big problem in Stolitz’s relationship is the power dynamic and the fact that Blitz IS of lower station and that is supposed to matter, it reads as Stolas still being blind the struggles Blitz faces as an imp. Which could be interesting if the show actually held Stolas accountable for that, like if he tries to say something like “I don’t care that you’re an imp” when giving Blitz the crystal, and Blitz calls him out because he should care! The only way their relationship could ever work is if Stolas acknowledges and addresses their power imbalance. If the show goes in that direction I could forgive the line as being part of Stolas’ character development, but I think we all know they won’t do that.

Also, the “Unless it’s me” line had so much potential for self awareness on Stolas’ end, but instead it somehow became about how Blitz won’t love him because he’s put up walls to protect himself. Ummm, WHAT? It’s not even a thought in Stolas’ mind that Blitz could just not return his feelings, or that he feels this way BECAUSE of him. No it’s because HELL has been hard on Blitz (which it has, but Stolas has undoubtedly contributed to that). It’s also kind of weird because earlier in the song he doesn’t see class when it’s convenient for him, but now in this part of the song he suddenly DOES see class when it absolves him of feeling any guilt towards Blitz’s current situation.

And the “no matter what in this world I could give” line really shows that Stolas misunderstands what Blitz wants from him. Blitz never really asks Stolas for much, though he certainly could. The only things we’ve seen Stolas give Blitz is the Grimoire and he also paid I.M.P for the Loo-Loo Land gig. Both of which are payments for work that Blitz does, not gifts from Stolas. I have no doubt in my mind that Stolas WANTS to be Blitz’s sugar daddy, but Blitz wants to be independent and not owe his success to a rich man. Which again, if she show addresses it in the Full Moon episode, that could be interesting! But I’m not expecting them to.

Less importantly, but still noticeable is after the “I don’t care that you’re of lower station” the part where Stolas says “or primed to sate my dark temptations” is really weird to me as well. Because even in the most Stolas friendly interpretation of the show, a big part of their relationship was sex, and he obviously loved and enjoyed his sexual experiences with Blitz, so why act like it’s something he doesn’t care about at all? There’s not inherently a problem with sex being something that Stolas appreciates about his relationship with Blitz, the problem was that it seemed to be the ONLY thing. But then why pretend like he never cared about the sex in the first place, like obviously he cared at least a little. If he doesn’t care about Blitz for the sex, then what does he like about Blitz? If the show actually SHOWED us him liking other things about Blitz, then sure maybe. But really all we’ve actually seen of their relationship is 1) sex 2) Stolas making Blitz uncomfortable.

Personally, I’m a little let down by the song because I really liked the potentially that Stolas had to be a really fucked up and dark character that learns the error of his ways, but instead every bad thing he does is hand waved away or the show pretends it was never there.

I actually prefer the original fan made version because it does a better job of portraying who Stolas actually is, he’s clingy and desperate and classist and imperfect! Which is what Stolas was supposed to be! I’m so annoyed because Stolas had potential, and the end of Ozzie’s really looked like the show was going to hold him to account for his shit, but NOPE! The Circus happened and actually Stolas is perfect and all that stuff you saw last season wasn’t actually that bad!

Anyways, there’s my unhinged rant, thoughts?

So we’re doing this huh.

Ughh this “relationship” is so deeply sickening it’s a black hole of toxicity that hurts and destroys everyone involved in it.

Yeah. This all began because Blitz never had a choice due to his poverty, his class status, his inability to refuse Stolas. From the very beginning when he was trafficked to become stolas’ toy for the day. Forced by Cash to be with Stolas, forced into his bedroom by Stolas. There is no ‘developing past it’ It cannot become a healthy romantic relationship. Ever. I just don’t buy this idea that sex trafficking can become a romance, if you just say sorry. Disgusting.

For me “I don’t care that you’re of lower station” is irritating he doesn’t say ‘you aren’t inferior to me’ he says ‘I don’t care that you’re inferior to me’ and ‘primed to sate my dark temptations’ is such a massive Hellfire line it makes me vomit.

Oh yeah, blitzø just straight up is not fucking allowed to not return this freaks obsessive lustful infatuation. So he has to be made into a fucking baby who goes googoo eyes over his ugly as fuck human form. Even though he told Loona hers was awful because as an imp he’s supposed to find humans ugly

“If your performance on stage is half as good as it is in bed” makes me feel so sick because all this ever was is a bored rich person forcing and forcing and forcing people who can’t say no, to endlessly provide and perform and service and run to him. Even if he returns the favour, he asks for more sex, and B doesn’t want to be saved or helped. He just wants to vent his violent frustrations onto him or worse, become his hero, when he’s actually the only one who needs saving here. From Stolas. I think the show is foreshadowing that Moxxie will be the one to finally stand up to Stolas and stop him from raping and manipulating his friend.

Also I think what stolas actually wants is for blitz to be his sugar daddy..which is why he gives up all his possessions and home for him. BLECH.

Yep. And the other person he’s hurt the most, his other victim Octavia, isn’t safe from this either. She’s not allowed to feel even an ounce of pain over the neglect and the pent up resentment her father has for her. Putting blame on her that he stayed in this miserable marriage but since she’s 17 “I’m done” he says.

I am so dying to see Loona Millie and Moxxie finally snap over being forced to drop everything to help stolas constantly. And them and blitzø being constantly forced to drop everything to serve Stolas’ whims.

Random-ass fic question: Of all the scenes you have published so far, which scene was the most enjoyable to write? What was it about the scene itself, some aspect of the process, or anything else that made you enjoy it that much?

Don't do this to me mare I've published like 2.5 million words. LOL.

Rather than break down any specific scenes because holy shit, I'll just break down the TYPES of scenes that I enjoy writing and why I enjoy writing them, because ultimately my favorite scenes fall into one of the three categories.

BIG REVEALS. As you may know, I love to write big grand plots with lots of mysteries and secrets baked into the narrative, so the best part of that is getting to write the scenes where everything is laid bare. It is just so rewarding to finally drop the information I've been dancing around. (Examples include: Jester realizing that the Harpy she met in the Nightmare Forest was actually Rinna and that the party the Nein have stumbled into to confront Cree's abuser is actually a front for the Court of Nightmares in OUADYA; the Lilith and Alastor flashback in LTEDMD; the big Jayne reveal in YCDHN during the Vergessen Heist. All of these were extremely fun scenes that I had been alluding to subtly that I wanted to hit and hit hard.)

BIG DAMN HEROES MOMENTS. I talk about how much I love writing fight scenes, but the truth is that fight scenes aren't really the exciting part. It's the emotions and driving force behind them. The most fun fight scenes are always when the characters have more personal stakes and aren't just fighting because they got into a fight whoops. (Examples: the Vee Tower assault in LTEDMD, the siege of the Chantry of the Dawn and the Vergessen Heist in YCDHN, the Lavish Chateau Trap in OUADYA)

BLOODY FEELS. I don't know how to classify this, so that's the term I'm going with- feels with blood involved, whether it be a death scene, a resurrection scene, a confession or an emotional moment where one character is bleeding out. I love writing scenes where characters are experiencing heavy emotions while also heavily bleeding. They always make me cry. (Examples: Caleb's resurrection scenein OUADYA, Fjord's resurrection scene in YCDHN (also a secret scene we haven't gotten to yet), Lucifer getting repeatedly stabbed by Eve and bleeding in Charlie's arms in LTEDMD, this Stolitz scene I'm currenting working on in OWDLIF.)

This is hardly a comprehensive list, but I write SO MUCH and dear god I enjoy it at least 85% of the time, but these three tropes are usually the things I get the most excited to write and as such appear in all of my major works multiple times.

“How long does it take for rich entitled assholes to get their shit over with?” Blitz could only grumble as he stood on the sidelines, drink in hand while keeping a close eye on his favorite birdbrain, who was currently being interrogated left and right by all high class demons in the room.

“Good evening, Lord Stolas!” A new contender approached the scene as soon as Stolas bid a lady farewell. The demon stood about an inch or so taller than the Goetian, his dark blue feathers slicked back with a fancy crown holding them back.

A purple coat draped over his shoulders as he smirked. “It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

We're starting 2024 with an overdue Secret Santa gift for the Stolitz Exchange— this one goes out to Anni!

I've always wanted to work on something with jealousy around these two (also it's my first Stolitz fic, so yey!), and figured a scenario like this was likely to happen hehe~

This whole mess started about a week ago.

Stolas had received a mysterious letter in the mail, which ended up being none other than an invitation for one of the many typical Goetian lineage parties held each year. This wouldn't have been much of an issue in itself— the prince had been blowing off attending these for a long time now.

What caught his immediate attention however, was who the invitation was from. His father.

Just like Blitz, the imp knew that Stolas had a… complicated history with his dad, to say the least. He hadn't heard from the man ever since his marriage to Stella, which was crazy to think about considering he was now dating a lower class demon and the old bird was probably none the wiser.

Despite all of this, the Goetian prince grew curious, and as such figured he could go this one time just to see what his father wanted to talk to him about. Blitz was very much against the idea, reminding his boyfriend of all the shitty things he'd done to him as a child and how he didn't owe him a single minute of his time.

But of course, Stolas was Stolas; someone willing to give people second chances and holding hope that maybe, just maybe, his father wanted to reconnect after all these years. The worst that could happen was Paimon not showing up at all and it just being a waste of their night.

Which brought another interesting point— Stolas wanting to take Blitz as his plus one.

The duo had been open about their relationship for months at this point, despite the imp's skepticism on how it would affect Stolas’ image in the public eye, something the owl told him he didn't care about. But despite all the various articles and interviews circulating across Hell, this would be their first public appearance together.

And yet, Stolas was probably as excited as a child opening gifts on Sinmas morning.

Arriving was relatively easy, considering they could teleport to the venue instantly and no one seemed to bat an eye at their presence. Blitz thought he'd grown used to seeing fancy places like these after living in his boyfriend's palace, but this was on a completely different level.

Once they entered, that's when quite literally all Hell broke loose— both Goetians and paparazzi came flocking like hungry seagulls around them, causing Blitz to have to push their way out of the crowd and flipping off anyone who stood in his way. Among the guests, neither could see Paimon anywhere.

Blitz offered to go look around the venue while Stolas kept the media at bay, only for the imp to come back empty handed. So, he ordered himself a drink and leaned against the bar looking over at the Goetian prince, keeping a close eye on the bird to give him the signal for them to skedaddle.

But of course as soon as Stolas was done talking to one person, another would come flocking in to take their place. And he was far too nice to cut them off entirely, so small talk had to be exchanged.

“This is gonna be a long fucking night…” Blitz took a small sip from the flavored drink, taking a mental note on watching out for his alcohol consumption. He had to stay sober to make sure everything was okay. He considered calling the M&M's to escape his boredom, but figured it wouldn't be fair to Stolas, so he sucked it up and simply stood there waiting.

Stolas furrowed his eyebrows in slight confusion. It seemed like he didn't know who this guy was. Indeed, Blitz's suspicions were confirmed when his boyfriend returned the curt smile. “Ah, the pleasure is mine. Although, I don't believe we've met before, have we?”

“Where are my manners?” The blue demon reached out for Stolas’ hand, placing a kiss on his knuckles. Blitz could feel his grip on his glass tighten. “I'm one of the various contractors associated with your family. Lord Paimon sent me himself to welcome you.”

At that, Stolas’ eyes widened significantly. “My… father sent you?”

The man gave him a curt nod and portrayed what could only be described as fake sympathy in the Goetian’s direction. “He sends his regards and deepest apologies for not being able to attend tonight. He was hoping to be able to talk to you, but work consumed him more than he anticipated. You must know the feeling.”

“Ah… yes, I'm quite familiar.” Stolas turned his gaze to the glass of wine in his hands, playing with the rim.

The other demon didn't leave though, in fact, he took a step forward, his glass very close to touching the Goetian's and his beak in very close range. “Forgive me if I'm being forward, but I must say you're quite the treat to look at. Lord Paimon's genes are strong in most of his children…”

Blitz instinctively slammed his glass on the counter, feeling his legs about to go walking towards the duo, but he stopped himself mid-way. “Okay, gotta hold back a little. If I go to sucker punch that overgrown chicken, the whole room will turn into a damn circus.”

He also didn't want to overstep Stolas’ boundaries. The owl could handle himself perfectly fine, after all.

Blitz was proven right as soon as he saw the obvious discomfort in his boyfriend's face. He took a few steps backwards, still smiling politely, but this time with a hint of annoyance present. “Oh, well I appreciate the kind words, however I must let you know I already have a partner.”

At that response, the blue demon let out a cackle. Almost mockingly. “Wait, you don't mean to tell me the rumors of you… courting an imp are true? I just figured you'd simply grown tired of Lady Stella.”

Stolas’ feathers ruffled in the way they did whenever someone insulted either Blitz or his family. It was honestly kinda hot in the imp's eyes. “As a matter of fact, I am. And I couldn't be any happier, especially considering most Goetians are quite superficial in their mating. The same way you're being right now. If you'll excuse me.”

“That's my man.” Blitz smirked as he saw Stolas turn around to leave, but instantly felt his blood run cold as soon as the other demon went to grip his arm.

“Now, that's no way to speak to someone who's trying to have a polite conversation.” His eyes were hard and his smile was cold; his unoccupied hand went to grab Stolas by the waist, pulling him closer as he purred into his side. “You should be more considerate when others are complimenting you…”

The Goetian prince's eyes flew open, all pretenses forgotten as he turned to face him with a glare. “Let go of me—!”

Gasps and whispers instantly echoed across the venue. The blue demon lay on the floor, a large bruise on his left cheek that he touched with a moan of pain. He growled in retaliation. “What the fuck?!”

Blitz found himself holding the demon's wrist, pinning him to the ground. How he got here was honestly a blur to him, but at this point he could care less. “He told you to back off, asshole!”

At this, the taller demon chuckled once more, looking at the imp as if he were a mere parasite. “And who are you? His territorial sex toy?”

“I'm the guy who's gonna put you in a wheelchair if you don't stop fucking talking…” Blitz growled, slowly releasing the other and going to stand up, ignoring everyone's judgy looks as he made his way to Stolas. “Come on Stols, let's get outta here.”

The owl looked both shocked yet relieved. But as soon as the duo was about to walk away, the blue demon just had to dig a final nail in the coffin that Blitz would not stand for.

“To think you'd end up falling to such lengths, Stolas. Although I guess it's not that surprising— there's no way you'd get someone of higher class to sleep with you willingly, so you going to an imp sounds about right.” The demon's feathers ruffled as he sat up straight, still massaging his wound, but the cheeky grin never leaving his lips.

Blitz stopped mid-step.

Stolas knew the guy had sealed his fate.

“Blitz—!”

“Oh you're so DEAD, bitch!”

“Ow…”

“Stay still darling, I have to get you cleaned up.”

The party was a complete chaotic blur after that. Blitz brought out his knife, the demon returned the blows with some punches of his own, but to say they'd become the talk of the venue would be understatement.

In the end, some of the higher ups had to step in to stop the commotion, causing the party to be cut short and everyone being ushered to return home.

Stolas continued applying ointment to the bruises that were visible, his magic already having taken care of the major injuries. “You know I love to see you fight Blitzy, but that was too much of a commotion for my liking.”

“I know…”

“And did you really have to bite his crotch?”

“Hey! The asshole had it coming!” Blitz immediately tried standing straight, only to let out a few grunts, but not backing down. “You were the hottest guy in that whole damn room, and if he thinks you can't get laid if you put your mind to it, then he's clearly still a fucking virgin!”

“Hoot hoot!” Stolas let out a few giggles at the comment, bending down to place a gentle kiss on the side of the imp's horns. “Well, you aren't wrong about that. And if you ask me, I'm probably the one with the most fascinating sex life out of any Goetian.”

“Damn right you are!” Blitz absentmindedly leaned into Stolas’ touch, his tail curling around the bird's talons. “You deserve that and more…”

“Oh Blitzy~ You're awfully affectionate today.” Stolas teased lightly, but then gave him a soft smile. “Thank you for standing up for me, dear. Seeing you jealous is always a treat.”

The imp's skin instantly lit up with a blush as he turned to his boyfriend in indignation. “J-Jealous?! I don't get jealous! I was just trying to help you, you birdbrain!”

“Of course you were, darling…” Stolas smiled in that devilish way that had Blitz's stomach doing flips. Satan, why did he love this guy again?

“Whatever! You owe me a cuddle session! And a movie night!” The imp whined as he moved from their bed and started heading for the door to the living room, to which Stolas only giggled in reply as he helped him make his way down the stairs.

“Absolutely. I have to repay my knight in shining armor somehow.”

“Good! We're watching Spirit, by the way!”

“Your wish is my command, dearest…”

I’ve seen a few fans recently talk about Moxxie, and how he too is also prejudice towards Loona, seeing her as a pet/slave more than a person. Before, it was honestly more Millie that was prejudice, only referring to her as their “Hellhound”, Moxxie would only rightfully get upset with Loona since she’s also a bitch to him. (This isn’t counting the pilot because Viv confirmed the pilot isn’t canon.) In the recent episode however, mainly people are referring to the line “Can’t you do one thing right?” When they got out of the portal, as well as Moxxie suggesting that Blitz was doing the right thing when threatening to replace her. However, this is just me but…imma be honest, I don’t think Moxxie was really being prejudice this episode. For starters, Loona is nothing but a bitch to her co workers, as well as the show clearly shows us that her and Moxxie don’t have a close relationship at all. (Well, maybe that’s because the show itself is too focused on Stolitz to properly show and develop it’s OTHER main character dynamics so…)

But yeah…here’s the thing. First of all, if Moxxie was prejudice towards Loona the same way Millie was, it WOULD have been interesting to dive into this, and how Loona feels on her class as a Hellhound, but unfortunately the show doesn’t dive into any of that, nor do I think it plans to. We could have gotten development between the dynamic of Moxxie, Millie, and Loona, but again, the show is more interested in Blitz and Stolas, as well as giving Moxxie the same character arc over and over only to be the punching bag again. Also the fans are ganna get mad at me for this, and y’all can disagree with me on this if you want but…… what has Loona done to deserve Moxxie’s mere respect or acknowledgement? Like fans are getting mad at him for also being prejudice, but she’s always a BITCH to him day in and day out. I don’t think he’s going to respect her as a person if all she does is treat him like shit, and he honestly shouldn’t. Loona has done nothing to show that she cares or even wants people to see the other sides to her, a person and not a Hellhound, so why should Moxxie care? From what we’ve seen, they’re just co workers, and since everyone likes to use the “This is Hell” excuse, it makes sense for Moxxie and Millie to only see Loona as a Hellhound, because that’s what she is. The Hellhounds were confirmed to be the lowest species BELOW the imps, so I don’t know why fans are surprised. If Loona wants people to stop seeing her as a Hellhound, a savage beast, then start treating your co workers nicely and show them that you’re NOT just that, because that’s all she’s done with her shitty attitude and behavior. And please don’t take this the wrong way, I’m not excusing someone being prejudice, but for this show and scenario, I just don’t think it works to get on Moxxie’s case about acting like this when Loona has done nothing but be an asshole. Again, would be nice for the show to dive more into Hellhounds and how Loona feels about being one and what’s it like outside of her adoption, as well as Moxxie and Millie’s thoughts on this, but….the show currently isn’t interested on developing the dynamics between the MAIN characters so…..yeah.

hi! i really love your designs, the colours are always really well done anf the characters are full of life.. and i love how your rewrites give the characters complexity and make them really interesting to me, much more so than canon(though i am a fan of some ideas introduced there, they don’t quite turn out in ways that make sense to me)! i’ve been wondering a few things about helluva troupe for a while however and hopefully the answers aren’t spoilers, lol.. in HT, what is Fizz’s involvement with the ‘troupe’ and what is stolas’s involvement too.? i wish you much luck on your work as it is lovely to see! With Fizz it's,,, a bit Fuzzy, because hilariously he's the whole reason I made this AU among other things But I ended up makinh him a sorta side character antag again because while originally he was going to be part of the main crew from the start of HT's storyline, as I went along in trying to write I saw some cool hcs about his star clown days and so I thought to use the more canonized view- mostly in that he's a star clown during the events of HT instead of dropping the show life to join Blitz in I.M.P. That previous version is why you see him in the I.M.P references- and hinty hoo that ol version isnt completely null and voice to the current HT

ANYWAY so yeah- While Fizz isn't as much a main character as he was he still has a great deal of importance to the story and themes I want to express in HT. When it comes to him and the Troupe itself, I could best describe him as one of the biggest foils or parallels to the main cast. Just,, he's this golden image that represents their every want fulfilled. For Blitz especially given their thick history heehooo. (That's not to say this 'golden image' is entirely as it seems btw...)

Now it sounds much like canon I know but I like to think I'm taking a different direction with it- It's not really just the "haha you suck with relationships, fuck, shit, pénis im doing better look at my good relationship" nonsense cuz for 1. Fizzarozzie does nOT exist anymore- its Mamzie now 😊 (Mammon + Ozzie) and 2. The themes with Fizz and really most of HT has less to do with the melodramatic romance "will they wont they" of Stolitz (which isnt really a thing either) and more the struggle impoverished and oppressed peoples experience with success, failure, identity, community, family, status, history, trauma, etccc. Specifically, because I am an indigenous person from Canada, a lot of the themes are drawn from my own experiences, knowledge and history as an indigenous person. Though with execution, creative liberties were taken to make the fact they're in Hell clear btww-

That very likely did nOT answer jour question but i amn,,,stoopi 😭😭😭 simpler answer i suppose maybe by chance would be Fizz is an eventual antagonist to I.M.P. Specifics and how it happens and wheNNN?? Im still not sure yet if im honest- been really busy the last year or so and so Ive hadnt had any time or energy to work as much on writing all the things! ;u; thats probs disappointing to hear cuz plaNNing and all is important if you're gonna post story stuff at all,,, but !! I do hope to work more on the story this year so i can wrap up all these floating ideas into a Concrete line of stuff cuz truly all im missing is the middle pieces. Maybe an HT comic will be real this/or next year! 👀🏃

ANYHOOT ONTO STOLAS! i rambled a bit too much about Fizz cuz im still figuring him out- Stolas might be a bit shorter cuz his role is sweet and simplisticerr.

So, Stolas is an antagonist. He and Blitz still have an exchange sort of deal, but the deal is Blitz gets to keep the grimoire for I.M.P if he handles Stolas' "errands" and gives it back on the full moon with ofc none of the uh,,hawny stuff, obv. Blitz kinda keeps this deal under wraps from the rest of I.M.P because for him, it hurts his pride to admit he's in need of some big guy's help. And Stolas is somewhat aware of this. And so, Stolas is this looming, cruel threat that Blitz carries the burden of cuz he's stubborn as fuck whilst the rest of I.M.P remain ignorant.

Some bonus notes that dont really have to do with Stolas involvement with imp but jus how stuff ive changed with his canon influence the story diff than canon; so, Stella isnt a thing anymore. In general the Goetia work much differently- majority of the Goetia being the children of Ozzie instead of Paimon (who is Stolas' sibling now btw too) and the Goetia being thousands of years old instead of fucking 30- Also! While Via is existant she is but a baby instead of a moody teen,, ties heavily with Stolas' motives and how he operates as a character, royal, and Goetian and felt it would work better with how HT Stolas is as a character than it would otherwise.

Also no worries about the username! I dont like canon stolas much either lol,,;

I’ll admit I’m also a sucker for crime shows like CSI, I had season 3 on dvd as a kid and rewatched it all the time. I used to watch it and Criminal Minds with my parents so it’s kind of nostalgic cause it’s like one of the few things we all did together

(I used to be into anime but I haven’t really been feeling it for a while. My first anime was InuYasha (still holds a special place in my ❤️). My all-time favorite is Fullmetal Alchemist, and I enjoyed Death Note and JJBA a feral normal amount. Black Butler was also 👌🏻 and I still need to finish the manga)

90% of the music I listen to isn’t in English. I don’t really need to understand the lyrics, I just like how it sounds. Like Finnish music is so catchy I can’t explain it but the way it rolls off the tongue is so nice. It does end up being funny sometimes though when you find out you’ve been bopping it to a song that’s repeatedly calling someone’s mom a whore

Most Listened: Antti Tuisku, Apulanta, Evelina, Szakács Gergő, ByeAlex, Intim Torna Illegál, Leander Kills, Dubioza, KYO, Stromae - etc (Linkin Park is still an all-time favorite as far as American music goes)

I admit I’ve been obsessed with the hazbin hotel soundtrack lately

ok I won’t say no to the occasional k-pop or j-rock song (I used to be Obsessed lol)

that said I’ll listen to literally anything if it sounds good (nice beats make brain go brrr). only genre I actively dislike is post-9/11 country music

While I do dislike Blitz x Stolas, I'm not gonna say Blitz x Verosika would be any better considering they constantly shit on eachother.

I do believe Verosika did love Blitz at one point, and I definitely hope to see a flashback on how things started. Did they meet in clown college? Was Blitz just using her? Did he actually love her as well? I wanna know!

But as for how things are currently, I think Verosika deserves better.

However, love seeing Versosika on my dash so feel free to ship want you want cus I'll eat up any Verosika content I can get!

Head-canon:

Darkness can represent:

Negativity. Toxicity and captivity (along with destruction)

Which makes sense since Blitz is known for burning bridges and he is seen “captive” (psychologically) by Stolas; because he thinks all he wants from him is just sex (even though that was originally the plan to begin with before Blitz probably started getting feelings lol)

Blitz is darkest parts (the less coloured) are most likely negative and toxic in these relationships:

Fizzarolli >>> fell out and is his arch rival

Verosika >>> broke up and probably does feels shit for the way he had treated her

• I theorise that as soon as he had broken up with her was when he had adopted Loona thereafter

* Or how do we know she didn’t do anything just as bad? (We don’t because yes let’s all blame Blitz for everything since he’s the antagonistic character)

Striker >>> Not much to be said except for let him get away after he attempted to assassinate Stolas - so Blitz feels guilty about it maybe?

Light represents:

Understanding & intellectual thought (well duh Blitz in his psychological torment; so that’s a no-brainer! Pun intended 😆)

But it can also mean goodness and reality

Stolas:

He wasn’t in the dark with everyone else as mentioned, he was into the light… representing that he could be the reason for Blitz to get out of that self-hatred (via Stolas’s kindness and affection)

Almost like reaching out for help

Or signifying a healthier relationship (hence the eradication of self-hatred) and that would probably help Blitz to stop erasing himself from photos with friends and family

* It even said Blitz wanted self respect for himself and his peers for one of his goals in his bio

Moxxie:

Who started off in the dark (in representation of Blitz’s current relationship with his employee) BUT I noticed how he went from dark to light

* I know he was following Blitz up the stairs to a hallucinogenic Stolas but still this could a huge character development

So this could be foreshadowing a significant change… as to how, why, and when we don’t know (only Viv knows lol 😂)

Verosika:

Okay, I won’t deny (as biased as I am for Stolitz I still think about the FACTS) that, yes, Blitz may have subconsciously felt guilty about hurting his ex-girlfriend because this all was in his MIND not what shows on the exterior, but that doesn’t mean he would want to go BACK to her, I’m looking at you “Blitzika” shippers 😂 — despite all the hard work he will have to make for being in a healthy relationship with Stolas — because Viv and Bryce Pinkham have already revealed that Stolitz will get together REGARDLESS of what happens; that’s the whole storyline of Helluva Boss

Off topic:

That’s like saying “there’s NO WAY Deckerstar would get together, because he’s “irredeemable” (who pretty much was the same as Blitz) but they DID end up together they even had a kid!

Verosika is Eve (Lucifer’s ex-girlfriend) in Lucifer and Stolitz are Deckerstar their fates are “align with the stars” — pun intended — meaning Stolas and Blitz are endgame
