i'm sure i am not the only one who is very concerned about the ~4 hours between when the midjourney change was made, and I knew to go opt out of it, so; glaze does not need to be on all your works to be effective. in the same way that one artist glazing all their works will ruin a broad, multi-artist dataset, glazing your works moving forward will ruin any dataset trained on you. if out of 100 comics I've posted, 10 are glazed, a dataset trained on all of my comics will not be able to make anything similar to my style. anyways. go download glaze.

it's rough being attracted to someone online through their vibes and personality and the tone of your interactions and then meeting them in person and having to contend with the fact that they have a physical body and appearance all the time, not just in a brief flash of insight when they post selfies, and you don't especially strongly associate that body and appearance with the faceless personality you've had all those conversations and built that closeness with... i'm thinking mostly of some brief ill-fated online relationships i had way back where we hung out irl a few times and i suddenly keenly felt that disconnect, as well as more recently a couple dating app meetups that never went anywhere, but it's like you're really suddenly confronted with the daunting mountain of physicality to climb... the very bodies that you would like to use to engage in contact and intimacy suddenly feel like unwieldy barriers.... i guess it's the sort of thing where you need to really properly spend time together irl for a while before it starts to reconcile itself enough for physical intimacy and it's not something you should hurry or force. but i have never yet reached that point in a relationship yet so i can only speculate

Added like 50 words to my thesis, including a quote from a dictionary. I have absolutely no idea where I'm going with this.

Just saw a girl i used to play in the garden with announce the birth of her child, then scrolled down and saw that a girl I went to school with announce she's pregnant with her second child. What is going on.

One day, when I've racked up enough karma on Reddit by perusing r/HobbyDrama and r/bookscirclejerk, I'll post my birdrick art on the r +m subreddit to cause problems on purpose.

Honestly a dream hobby of mine (ESP as I've been getting more into Making Things with My Hands -- from pins to jewelry and ESPECIALLY clothing modifications) is doll customization. ESPPP inspired by Dollightful on Youtube, where her projects get So Involved sometimes she's woodworking she's sawing off limbs she's using clay and sanding it down to reshape the doll's body to fit her vision. AND ofc any doll custom involves a new face (watercolor pencils or paints choose your fighter) and new hair (doll hair BUT I ALWAYS THINK ABOUT the way of making doll hair/wefts Out Of Yarn‼️‼️ THAT'S SO COOL) and a new outfit (sewing and crafting and ESPECIALLY considering "Okay, What material would work best to achieve the goal I'm aiming for? How does it sit? How does it flow? And most IMPORTANTLY How Does It Work!!!!!")
Like maybe it's the alleged not officially diagnosed ADHD but I GET. SO BORED. If I'm not Working With My Hands (I literally CAN'T draw digital anymore because IT'S BORING‼️‼️ IT'S TOO CLEAN ALSO‼️‼️‼️ LET ME BULLSHIT AND GET MESSY AND TRY WEIRD THINGS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT WORK ‼️‼️‼️ EXPERIMENTAL‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️)

this is one of the few times where I feel like an interview actually went really well instead of thinking "I think it went well, but I think I'm also kidding myself"
no, I think this one actually went well.
I'm going to reward myself with a Beverage™ (perhaps of a warmed chocolate variety) after/while picking up my mom's ashes to deliver to my brother
also, maybe a long nap after I call the mortuary to arrange a time to come by in the next few hours
