it is 6:30am(7 by the time im posting this) and i should be sleeping but instead im here thinking about vitalasy and subz post-wormhole building their horrible little house together.

i just. :( vitalasy and subz, after all this "we need to get revenge on the server, we need to save the server, etc", finally just, letting go. not caring about everyone else anymore. logging off until everything is over and the world has ended. and they go fishing and they build an awful fucking house. and its just them, no more worrying about betrayal or war or exploits, just them together, finally safe. and then theyre gone too.

the post-wormhole-finale activities are so important to me. what do you do after the world has (finally) ended? you go fishing with your best friend, the way you did in the beginning. you build a really fucking ugly house together, to leave behind your most important belongings in. you find that one of your other friends has labeled your house as the "furry household" wtf poafa.

lifesteal post-wormhole event is so. vitalasy and subz building a house together for themselves and in the background planetlord is floating and making a poafa medusa joke and poafa is running through the air. and the house is so so so fucking ugly but it still makes me go :pleading:

like it was a REALLY fucking awful house. poafa made a nice floating island next it. why did vitalasy and subz decide on this block palette. painful to me but also so so so so important to me that they had this moment after the end of everything. no more wars no more exploits no more arguments or betrayals. just two friends building a small house with no grand purpose but to be theirs. a monument to their friendship and it doesnt have to be some big huge build or anything that requires a lot of time and effort, because it just has to be theirs and theyve already put that time and effort into each other and. aaaaa

and this is where they end their season, not with a big server-ending game-changing event with over a hundred players, but here, together, quiet and alone and finally at peace, finally safe, just with each other. (and also poafa is outside and also planet was there for a bit)

i am just. them :( the house after the end of everything is very important to me. no more war, no more glitch, just two friends hanging out after the end of the story. and then they move on too. but I cant fucking move on im still here its soooo ;-;

OMG!!!

so its a video game where youre either aether or lumine, twins who were separated by an unknown god when they traveled to a new world. you meet paimon, a floating fairy whos your best friend and travel guide. you travel from nation to nation, gaining the elemental powers of that nations god.

you help each nation solve their crisis and save their people, in return for information about your lost twin (spoiler alert theyre really unhelpful)

along the way, you can get other characters to join your team. they have visions, which means the gods chose them to have a specific elemental power. there are seven elements, except for some reason dendro didnt come out til last year??

there was originally two regions, mondstadt and liyue, but then inazuma, then sumeru, and finally fontaine have come out over the last 3 yrs

most of the boys look like girls which is really validating as a boy who looks like a girl

my favorite character is kaveh!! hes an architect whos struggling with money, and who lives with his frenemy alhaitham. he and haitham were best friends in college, but had a falling out and didnt speak for years.

theyve lived together for a while, and while they make each other super angry, they take care of each other. alhaitham says kaveh is pathetic, yet keeps paying his bills and complimenting his character. kaveh says alhaitham is impossible to be around, but refuses offers to move out and is always thinking of alhaitham. their entire existence is to be the opposite of each other: kaveh is loud and proud and emotional, alhaitham is humble and stoic and quiet. if you invert images of them, you see that they have the exact opposite color palette. almost every voice line about them mentions the other one. even their voice actors ship them (they said if their characters were musical songs theyd be gay or european and if you were gay, they had to re-record their first scene because they were told they made them too implied to be a couple)

aka oh my god they were roommates but with an angsty silly twist

i got into it because a lot of my old friends played, and the characters looked cute. id literally never played anything other than mario kart before so i dont know how different from normal games it is but i highly recommend it!! it takes up a ton of storage but i play on my ipad and its always been fine

anyways im sorry for such a long response 😭😭😭 but if you're wondering whether you should play the answer is yes!! its free to join and is really cool and you can play with other people once you reach a certain level! if you do join, join the america server or we cant play together 😭

Flow hot takes

1. PW and Flow are the best singles we've had since SR. Every single song has felt complete i.e., LAYERS (that change throughout the song), choruses with LYRICS (no woahs oooohs aaaahs disdisdisplays), interesting bridges that go places without being obnoxious for the sake of it. Also no chipmunk voices (by Nakata standards). The gritty bass line is also a big plus. As long as Nakata maintains this level of output the next album has a chance of actually being a really great album. I just pray he doesnt do a 180 and butcher the current era's direction like he did with FP.

2. The MV is terrible and all the more frustrating because it actually had all the ingredients of being good.

3. MV street outfits are great (im gonna ignore the pink/white ones i have accepted that terrible costumes are the norm now). Its cool that theyre experimenting with the braids too. And the color palette of the VFX looked really fresh and theyve never had this sort of style going on before.

4. But then it's bogged down by all the stupid choices. Why aren't they singing? Because it's a "dance video"???? Okay and??? Are DF and Flash etc not dance videos too????

5. And if this is a dance video why are they obscuring said dance with all the visual effects??? (greatest offender is the blocky nonsense going on around the 30s mark) I know this shit was rushed out in a week but please.... I dont even expect anyone on the team to use their entire brain anymore, but please, even one brain cell will do....!!!!

6. Lack of glamour shots (close ups) makes them feel really distant. Yes i know faraway flowing clouds and all that, and i was always the first to complain abt excessive glamour shots, but this has just swung to the other extreme and its not good either. Literally whats the point of trying new hairstyles with braids if i cant fckin see it!!!! The excessive effects sure arent helping either!!!

7. That last 30s looks cheap af and highly anticlimatic as compared to the rest of the video. I also dont understand why they had to go out of their way to make a physical set when the CGI going on at the start of the video looked so much cleaner and better. Who is approving these budgets???

8. I think this video is kinda the culmination of all my problems ive had with their direction in recent years. Over reliance on "technology" and whatnot. Like yeah its cool but im also watching perfume content for perfume. If i wanted to see a tech demo id watch a fckin tech demo. At no point should showcasing the technological gimmicks take precedence over showcasing the members and their personalities.

9. And that leads me to something ive only just realised. When was the last time uve seen them look like they actually enjoy dancing in their PVs??? MoL???? I just did a quick dive through their videos and Ive come to realise that ever since theyve shifted from tokuma to universal theyve been trying to take on some cool emotionless doll android big sister image or whatever and like Okay. But why cant we have both???? Was the charm of perfume not always that they can switch between being fun and quirky as well as being cool and badass??? Post MoL it seems like they dont even smile anymore while theyre dancing. Sure a resting bitch face looks cool, but given how excessive its gotten it just feels so devoid of personality and life.

10. Something something practical effects quirky and full of personality something something CGI is everywhere now none of what theyre doing feels special something something jurassic park aged well because it used practical effects something something their older videos are much more fun to watch and much more replayable (i still think IYW is perfection but id still rather rewatch/show people VOICE or FNG etc)

ok got my danger days palette and uhm!!!!!! i am not thrilled with the lipsticks.

first off i am irrationally and unreasonably upset that the fun ghoul lipstick isnt green like what. what the fuck everyone else got their color why isnt he green. is it bc its not a jewel tone or something? like emeralds exist. is it just bc people are scared of green. theres literally green in the palette. why. why isnt he fucking green make him green i want my green fucking lipstick fuck you

also they kind of feel horrible when i put them on like i know some liquid lipsticks espesially metallic or special finish ones can be really drying but they feel sooooo shitty when i put them on, and its kind of difficult to get them opaque like yknow when youre painting and you go backwards over a stroke u just made and it cuts a line through it instead of painting. the lipsticks do that and it makes it so annoying to try and put them on effectively like u need to wait for a first layer to dry and then do a second one. kind of annoying and it doesnt help that they also just feel like shit and im still so angry about fun ghoul not being green like what is the point. fuck you.

other than that the sets good, i like the liners they seem to be of nice quality, and i havent swatched the palette yet but the colors are exactly what i was expecting and look just as vibrante. nothing came damaged, the mousekat pin is nice, the extra pins that i spent $25 on are. not worth $25. like theyre not bad but i wouldnt have paid that much for them if i wasnt like dying and depressed when i made this purchase.

also im a little miffed that i had to email support to find out that there were even more shipping delays which meant mine was only shipped like towards the end of january and just got here a couple days ago (jan 28 or 29 i think). like its certainly nothing im gonna cause a fuss about but given the uncertainty of when things are gonna get places i wish i wouldve received an update.

there also the whole thing about the set existing in the first place, like im not gonna get mad at them for releasing merch i dont know what kind of contracts theyre under but idk. it feels a little off to me. if it was just the makeup collabs like ok thats kind of cool, expression and makeup have kind of been a part of their performance and image for a while and the colors are definitely unique and can be hard to find, so i like that aspect, but in combination with the other really shitty merch theyve been releasing.... idk. like the shitty masks on their webstore, the other kind of shitty merch on their webstore and the shirts on hot topics website that look like shit im so sorry theyre so fucking ugly. that one armyish green one is horrendous, the vaporwavy one isnt ugly its just so painfully generic and doesnt even read as an mcr shirt, the other ones look like strange slightly to the left twenty one pilots merch. im not a fan

Shells Batch #3 (Final Round)

Greymont Bay is in need of some interior decorators again! An updated private beta version of the world will be provided for any decorators, plus the save file with the built lots. What this means is that decorators must have all EPs.

Decorators are more than welcome, and encouraged, to also play in the world, post screenshots, beta test, whatever.

Feel free to post pictures on your tumblr and/or in my MTS Feedback thread.

I reserve the right to edit lots that have been decorated. It might be because I find some routing issues or SP content was used and needs to be removed or related to cribs (see details below).

The FAQ for decorating covers the general rules and guidelines for decorating in Greymont Bay. See details below for specifics regarding this round and each lot:

All Lots:

Must follow the rules in the FAQ in addition to below, unless otherwise noted.

You must build in the save file included. Please do not save the lot to the bin and place it somewhere else. Most of these lots are not on flat terrain and, as such, need to be placed on their specific lot.

Please do not change the doors/windows. You may recolor the interior sides of them (for example to a wood grain) if it better suits your palette, but don’t switch them out or recolor what shows outside, unless otherwise noted.

If there are furnishing already in the house, feel free to remove them. I plunked stuff down when doing the layout to check on spacing and size for the rooms.

If you use ‘moveobjects on’, you may switch out the fireplaces in lots that have them (not the chimneys).

For lots with basements: you may edit the basement, but not remove them entirely. They’ve been added for expansion possibility if players want extra space. They do not need to be furnished if you run out of funds but please add at least wallpaper/floors. (The 4 bungalows on Selwyn Street have basements that are “crawl spaces” you can look at as examples and copy the wall/flooring from them if desired.)

Sidenote: Only about 1 out of each subsection really needs a crib so you don’t have to add one. If none have cribs when they’re all done, I’ll add one to one of the lots. If more than one has a crib, I may end up removing it (depending on how many there are). This is to help keep the townies from breeding like rabbits (hopefully).

Please keep the carriage house apartment in #28 separated from the main house.

by popular demand, here is my oc chatter regarding stuff like relationships n random character traits. its rly long oops but i divided it by character at least lmao,, these are all things that i think id also wanna use if i ever use these characters as humans (which i def will at some point honestly)

- i thinkkkk i want toad and pike to date. toad would come across pike in their lagoon one day while hes wandering around on another wonked exploration and pike is like hey lol :B with their pointy teeth and long ass hair and toad is like :0 he just sits and talks with pike for hours and comes by a few times a week to hang out with them. they fall in LOVE

- fred and lani are def gonna date too. two butches who use he/him pronouns fuck yeah? they have a powerful relationship. mega BDE. power couple. not a lot of pda but alone together theyre both very loving and tender, its a vulnerability thing for both of them. like lani is very cool and can be either stoic or borderline obnoxious while fred is punkish. fred is very head over heels for lani tho 

- mardi n berg.....complicated....i gotta figure out how they actually end up together. berg is a jogger and mardi is a piercer/tattoo artist so that doesnt....make them line up very much in that department. ill think about it more and figure something out. itll probably have something to do with berg’s nose stripes and eye rings

- also side note on mardi......i want his backstory to include a grey period set off by his brother being eaten when they were both young at the troll tree. like he becomes angry and depressed, sorta like branch, his tattoos that he gives himself the only color on his body, until he learns to let go and his colors come back (high key this was inspired by 21 savage, mardi’s voice claim, and the line in his new song A Lot “my brother lost his life and it turned me to a beast”). ill develop this idea further but i just wanted to get it written down

- bismuth.......unsure. they had a crush on pepper and kept trying to ask her out until she came out to them as a lesbian, then they were like :’) but theyre ride or die theyre not gonna be an ass to her because they cant date her. they just care a lot about her. its like icarly

- gazpacho and jupiter CUTE two small trans trolls in That Love. i need to develop them more but. theyre just cute 

- talia is still a little too new for me to develop her......but im thinkin about it...

- kinda same with ernie and olive. they kinda mostly just exist as cute babby characters right now? if anything olive is a trouble maker and ernie is a chatterbox

- clem and thursday also fuckin cute as hell......clem was a nervous wreck asking thursday out but theyve been together like ever since, which is more than a few years. they have a rly cute gentle lovey dovey relationship. thursday is usually hanging around up on her gf’s shoulder giving her kisses on the cheek

- bea and crystal.......adorabl relationship......crystal is another character thats kinda nervous but bea is so chill n confident is helps calm her down. theyre both trans and love the hell out of each other. rly slow n steady relationship, bea is very patient

- pj and marcus!!!! dumb mlm rep relationship. pj is so so gay for marcus he can barely comprehend it. its a dumb ego boost for marcus but hes also very in love with pj, he just expresses it in a weird cocky way idk marcus is a nerd. i need to make more content for them i think about these two way more than it seems

- dwight!! he has a boat. he lives on the boat.....ive thought about maybe pairing him with toad and pike. deciding on his voice claim has been the most difficult thing ever

- kass and current HELL yeah buff gf and tol gf......they spar with swords and wrestle for fun and hang out at the beach a lot. kass fuckin loves the gem on current’s back. i gotta make more content for them 

- celia......i wanna do more with celia. friends with berg probs theyre both sporty. shes just a sweet giant troll who loves mushrooms. i gotta pair her with someone whose palette goes nicely with her pastels 

- carrot and harriet are literally cricket and tilly from big city greens just older. yeehaw siblings. havent thought about relationship stuff with harriet yet.....i think she also needs ANOTHER redesign her colors are just too heavy still. maybe if i can make her colors compliment celia’s that could work as a pairing? hm hm.....carrot tho is dating ford’s oc rye theyre gentle country gays

- rainer. hm. i dont think theyre rly the dating type......theyre just chill with being them. they just wanna swim and be funny

- hammond and andromeda are probs two of my least developed characters.....hammond still needs a redesign. he might be cute to pair with walter, theyre around the same age. andromeda tho i have no idea. she might be a nice pairing with eve? if i ever feel like pairing her with someone...who knows. eve is very carefree and might find andromeda’s energy too intense

- radish i wanna make more content for!! i rly like her a lot....i think shes another troll who isnt interested in dating. shes very focused on being a chef instead. loves her friends a lot!

- mack and pepper 2gether 4ever obvs......they have a relationship that gets richer with age for sure

- im just gonna ramble about mack. i thinkkkkkkk i wanna make her half latina? columbian specifically. she doesnt quite read as white and i didnt make her with the intention of making her white. anyway i love mack a whole lot and should really develop her backstory more. its not rly as like...””tragic”” or whatever as pepper’s i know that but she def has layers. i wanna give her whole family more depth. she has a very complicated relationship with her own feelings and motivations that i need to think about more fully. my powerful femme tho i lov her

- mack’s parents, robin and champagne, i need to like....think about them more. they have kinda a comedic relationship thats sorta inspired by roger rabbit and jessica rabbit. robin is a very caring, gentle troll who’s very smart and cares a lot about his nursing responsibilities in the village. champagne is very relaxed and the “voice of reason” character of the family. she loves a good party and has her party planning down to a science. both are very successful power parents. kickass family

- i already talked about topaz and marney in a separate post but i still love them both so much. big wesbiabs

- pepper....pebber. im gonna talk about her the most obviously gfhjdkrs i wanna talk about her mental health i feel like i think about it a lot but i never write about it explicitly? this is gonna be long oops hgjfksd she has depression and ptsd stemming from the trauma of her crash...im thinking she also has adhd and thats just something shes always had. her depression rly got heavy during her recovery and right after like...she hated being bed/housebound and felt rly powerless to her situation and just let it eat at her until her personality had actually changed considerably. like extroverted wild child rebel to introverted, soft-spoken sulker. this got better with time but she still is pretty introverted, just turned her moodiness into chill energy. 

- she has bad depression habits like letting dishes, old food, laundry, or just stuff pile up in her room until it gets overwhelming and she spends like two days just manically cleaning; or staying in bed for way longer than she should and messing with her hygiene; or eating way more or way less than she should eat in a day. just stuff thats hard to completely break out of when youre recovering. her color is pretty consistently the dark red but if shes having a particularly rough day she might look a little paler, or like a muddy brick color at her worst. thats kinda rare tho

- her ptsd is the thing she hates the most. for a while it made her feel very weak and she’d beat herself up over being traumatized by the crash which was obviously not helpful to her mental state but she was really all over the place during her bodily recovery. its part of the reason why she started working out, she wanted to reclaim some sort of feeling of strength and power that she felt she’d lost completely. she still gets really frustrated with this feeling of loss but she gets a lot of support from loved ones which has helped her not self-blame so much. her ptsd manifests mostly as nightmares/insomnia, chronic headaches/stomachaches, intrusive thoughts and sometimes flashbacks. the nightmares are what rly get to her, she really doesnt get a lot of good sleep and it can get to the point where she just doesnt want to sleep sometimes and she’ll stay awake until she crashes hard

- her scars used to be a big trigger for her ptsd, which is why she has her bangs covering the one on her face and wears long pants (her knee braces are too bulky for pants and would force her to wear shorts which would force her to expose her scars). she just. really really hates them. this is something she struggles with for a majority of her life

- once she and mack start going steady with their dating and start consistently sleeping in the same bed, pepper starts to sleep better. she still has nightmares that wake her up at least weekly, but having mack there to comfort her (whether she wakes mack up accidentally or if mack is already awake) helps a TON with getting her back to sleep soundly. it also just helps her sleep in general to have that comforting, loving presence in her bed snuggled up to her ;w; mack is a big help in general with pepper’s mental health, pushing pepper to make better, healthier choices and get out in the village more and have fun. mack for sure does not “”cure”” pepper of anything but shes a very positive light in pepper’s life that helps her pull thru tough times!

- i love all my goofy trolls so much. its so fun to just chill and blab about them to relax between working on big projects ;o; ty if u cared enough to read this whole thing ur so rad
