I've been lifting/working out for a few years now, but in the last year I really picked up steam with my big three lifts. I'm thinking about entering power lifting competitions once the world calms down, but I don't want to get completely blown out of the water. Do you have any advice on deciding when someone should take the leap into competition?

you should do it when YOU feel ready!! the beautiful thing about powerlifting is that yes you are “competing” with others that are in the same weight and age class as you, the main competition is actually yourself!! if its your first competition the main goal is a successful meet and if its your second its beating your previous records!! the community is super supportive and once you are on that platform everyone is cheering for you to land your lift!! for a successful meet your goals should be getting those white lights and having fun!! the weight you put up doesnt matter because for your first meet no matter what its still a new record for you in the book

@auradonrps also only met Ally about a year ago and I’m so glad to be friends with her because she knows a lot of what I go through with my anxiety and overthinking. she’s great to talk to when I’m getting too in my head because she understands and always offers great advice and words of encouragement. she’s also got a lot of great characters that I love to play against

@mazikeenwrites A is another awesome person from the same group that I’m in now and she’s great to write with. I feel like I don’t talk with her as much, but we should definitely change that! her characters are all really awesome and I’m hoping to make closer connections with my characters and hers

@thefrogprincesswrites Elle is super great because despite me not being my best self when I first joined the group she started and co-admins, she accepted my apology when I finally came to realize I was being a big ol’ brat. we actually were in a group together before ASU though but we didn’t really talk ooc there and it was kind of a short-lived glee rp so there’s that as well. but she’s super nice and her characters are great! 

@caroldanversrps Cal is so awesome I gave her my old URL because I knew she would have better use of it than me because her character Arya who is a Brie Larson fc in the group we’re in is awesome and kicks ass and we need to have more interactions with our characters! 

@bloody-gorgeous-rps I’ve only been in one group with Jess, it was, you guessed it!, another glee rp lol it was one I started with one of my friends and honestly it was bad timing so it didn’t really take off. but even though I’ve never really rp’d with her and we don’t really talk much, I follow her and there have been times when she’s just messaged me to cheer me up and ask how I’m doing if I post something about being upset and she’s just really sweet.

❞ HI DEAR !! I could definitely find some alternative faces for Cierra Ramirez, however I’m not sure she’d fit as descendant of Kronk ?? If I’m not mistaking, I think I’ve read before that the Emperor’s New Groove roles are supposed to have Peruvian descent ?? Based on the culture that is visible in the show/movies ( which I think is Inca culture ?? ). So, I’m not sure how well that is compatible with faceclaims that have Mexican/Colombian descent ?? So I would definitely look into that, dear. But, for your request regarding the alternative faces for Cierra, I believe Becky G (23), Ariela Barer (20), Sofia Carson (26) and Victoria Moroles (22) are good alternatives with similar ethnic backgrounds !! Thank you, friend! The idea for this fic came out from a wonderful mix of elements (to me, anyway): spite, angst, and pure stubbornness.

I hated how some fics got more love than others despite being (in my wildly biased opinion) terribly written. I set out to write a fic that was everything those popular fics weren't – particularly, starring a rarepair couple.

The angst part came from the original idea for this fic. It was supposed to be a tragedy fic in which Rachel and Quinn are a couple but Rachel dies. It was a terrible plot but I really wanted to write something with Quinn and Marley together... somehow.

Finally, the stubbornness. I had about 10k of what became the prologue and first part of The Shortest Distance written out and nothing else. Then I made it a personal goal to write a minimum of 10k for every chapter. Then I promised myself I wouldn't abandon this multichapter fic like I'd abandoned most of my others. Then I promised myself I would turn this into one of those 100k+ fics that I love reading.

Hi thank you, I'm so sorry if I'm going to sound picky but at least 3 of them don't have the most resources, I had thought of Isabella Gomez but her gif hunt/pack tag isn't a whole lot and I struggle using singers like Becky because most of her gifs are music video ones. And Victoria Moroles mostly only has teen wolf ones unless she's got something new in her tag I haven't checked. I'm mobile atm and I have to look at the other suggestion as well. Thank you though
