currently watching: Rewatching Skins (lmaooo I know, but it makes for good background noise. Though I gotta say, that show did not age well!!! At all!!!!)

currently reading: I've gone through a real reading slump in the past few years, and am just starting to get my mojo back. Just finished Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, and also read Circe last month (I'm very late to the party.) I've got A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara on hold at the library, because apparently I'm only interested in media that will completely destroy me?

current obsession: You all know it's Jaime x Brienne, I can't even pretend I'm normal about them. I'm also pretty invested in the Women's World Cup at the moment, but after the first two USWNT games it's starting to feel a little masochistic of me...holding out some hope for Sunday's game, but I'd be a lot more optimistic if someone would just punt our coach into the sun, first 😂 Oh and let's add Formula 1 to this List of Pain, which is all @sdwolfpup's fault since I finally read Heart Full of Gasoline earlier this year. I'm literally wearing a Lewis Hamilton shirt at this very moment. Look what you've done.

'she used to be mine' - sara bareilles | i adore all that sara chooses to be and have watched the waitress musical movie every three nights or so since it was released for purchase!

'bidi bidi bom bom' - selena [quintanilla] | brie larson's golden globe moment had me rewatching this movie, and most days i've got some segment of this tune in my head anyway.

who says - selena [gomez] | after forwarding my father the linda ronstadt biopic news (he harbors a lack of belief in my girl's talent, for whatever reason), this has become my customary alarm song!

do you have a top 3 fanfic for Camp Rock (or any fandom you feel like!)?

ohhhh i wish i could say i do but the thing is camp rock fanfiction was so notoriously not good that back in the day jonas brothers livejournal used to make posts like "i want to get more into camp rock but i've heard the fic just makes it not worth it." my favorite jonas brothers rpf is looked at the scenery, she read her magazine by cashewdani which is very of the era characterization-wise (which. i do love.) but brings up a lot of feelings about the cyclical nature of youth and love and friendship for me.

#i do actually have a secret fic rec blog but it's been a bit abandoned. maybe i'll go back to my top 24 fics list and link that. #i think i made it to 15 on my list but then got stuck on the 7th post because pinterest wasnt being helpful. this was in like. 2021. #replies #also i want to be clear i'm including my camp rock fic from this era. that was also not good. it's just basically nobody writes it anymore.
