i don't think I've ever asked you this—what music do you like? are you more of a "I like these bands" person who listens to artists or a "I like this genre" person?

oh man i am kind of all over the place with music. i definitely lean to liking particular groups or artists > liking broad genres, but that doesnt mean im not open to listening to similar genres.

some stuff ive been listening to recently include deftones, death grips, badbadnotgood, pierce the veil, yves tumor, utsu-p, radiohead, and casinovocain (who i found for their strange catboy jerma fanart). i also just relistened to the entire saturation trilogy by brockhampton to introduce it to my bf. finally i do like classical music bc thats when the songs get nice and long; rachmaninoff is my fave. from piano solos to small ensembles to orchestra to jazz band, it all impresses me; a lot of the stuff is just on a technically complex level that id love to see more of in more contemporary genres.

a while back, i listened to a lot of others, like evanescence, birthday massacre, clarence clarity, mitski, tkay maidza, jpegmafia... im thinking in the future ill start trawling thru bandcamp and see what they have to offer. would like to listen to more breakcore and experimental metal/hip-hop. i am always happy to hear recommendations :)

Which labels do you use?

trans!!!! is my number one label! i think mostly i just like to be label-less but my trans identity is super important to me! i have started hoarding xenogenders recently but its more just for fun than anything :)

10. Something that gives you gender euphoria (whether you’re cis or trans):

clothing!! especially kind of 80s/70s styled stuff teehee i bought a corduroy jacket recently and some glasses that are very much like. 70s serial killer esque and i love them

on that note glasses!! i dont need them but theyre just so gender to me for some reason. also fangs!!

i think the style of clothing that gives me the most euphoria is definitely.. dressing in a way that i think is attractive on or to gay men? jeans and white shirts etc.. <33

11. Favorite (or just one you love) piece of LGBT media?

first thoughts are crash 1996, but thinking a little more deeply maybe just the works of casinovocain as a whole ..? like art, music, everything by them has been super impactful on me and my identity

15. How has your identity changed over time?

i very much had the non binary to transmasc to non binary pipeline?? when i first started questioning i ID'd with things like genderfluid, genderflux, demiboy, demiflux etc etc and then eventually went onto trans guy/man. i think currently the label of non binary doesnt really feel like. me? even though it may apply so currently im just .. trans. as for sexuality its kind of stayed the same (bi/pan), but before/early in my questioning i probably leaned into lesbianism a bit more versus now its more about being attracted to men

Mortis Ghost is like ultimate fave (if it is not obvious given we have the same name), along with Felix colgrave, Mason lindroth, Julian miholics, VCR-Wolfe, Silicone65, Bwusagi, Plastiboo, Gaphals, Filthyguts2, GhostFruits, IguanaMouth, Gattodyboski, Batbrainzzz, Casinovocain, Bhramarii, AalayNirakul, CadaverHaver/Mysticete, LuckyCatCore, ect ect +500000 more weird art that briefly existed on deviantart in 2016 and then promptly dropped dead off the face of the earth
