Ugh soooooooft!! 🥺

Pairings; Glenn Rhee x fem!Reader Prompt; "You are everything. Everything." Words; 0.6k Warnings; Mentions of a close call with walkers but really, just pure fluff!

“What were you thinking?” He asks, breaking the silence that shrouded the two of you.

You scoff but offer a teasing smile all the same. “What do you mean?”

“I mean, what were you thinking not telling me you wanted to clear that room by yourself?”

You shrug. “You were preoccupied and I didn’t think it’d matter.”

Glenn scoffs in return but it’s not light and teasing like yours had been; his is hard and exasperated and it makes you furrow your brow in response.

“‘Didn’t think it’d matter’,” he mumbles to himself and then to you, “you could have been killed!”

“But I wasn’t,” you reply matter-of-factly.

He stops short, turning his eyes on you, halting your trek back to the car. His eyes are hard, much unlike what you’re used to when gazing into Glenn’s eyes, but just underneath the surface, you can spot the concern, the worry, the fear.

“You could have been killed,” he repeats, placing emphasis on ‘killed’ like you’re a child in need of a lesson.

“But I wasn’t,” you throw back harshly but then softer, “Glenn, what is this about?”

He turns his gaze away, eyes searching the surrounding trees like he’s surveying for incoming threats. But you know Glenn, know him better than you know yourself sometimes; he’s not worried about shambling walkers or the possibility of a stranger or two coming up on you with guns, he’s searching for the right words to say that will truly convey how scared he is over what just happened.

“You could have told me you wanted to clear the pharmacy,” he says softly, “I would have come with you.”

“I know that,” you admit, pulling his gaze back to you. “But you were already looking around for food and other things we could take back, figured it wouldn’t be an issue to see what the pharmacy had left by myself.”

“And the lock on the door didn’t give you pause?”

You breathe a laugh. “You know how people are, Glenn, when they’re forced to flee. They always think they can come back, especially if they have something worth holding onto. I… assumed whoever owned the store locked the door thinking they’d be back one day.”

“Instead, there were three walkers inside—”

“—which I dispatched. No problem.”

Glenn shakes his head. “It wasn’t worth it.”

“No?”

“No. Nothing is worth losing you.”

You avert your eyes, biting back a smile. “Well, as sweet as that is, I have to disagree.”

You pull your bag off your shoulder, rifling through it and pulling out bottle after bottle of medication. “Azithromycin, Prednisone, Amoxicillin and so much more, Glenn. Do you know how hard it is to find this stuff these days? We have sick people back home, they need this. As far as I’m concerned, going up against three walkers was worth it.”

He focuses on the myriad of prescription bottles in your hands and deflates instantly with a sigh. “You’re right. Of course you’re right, our people need this.”

Stepping forward, he takes a few bottles from your hands and helps you place them back into your bag. Once your bag is securely back on your shoulder, he cups your face in his hands and rests his forehead against yours.

“I was scared, that’s the truth of it. Hearing you scream, knowing I still had to get to you.” He pauses, releases a shuddering breath. “You have to understand, I need you to understand that you are everything, everything to me, okay? And nothing will ever be worth losing you as long as I’m around to help.”

Glenn kisses your forehead, your cheeks, your nose and then finally your lips, capturing the soft sigh that emits from you. “Promise me. Promise me that next time you’ll at least tell me first, give me a chance to come with you.”

“I promise, Glenn,” you whisper, kissing him again. “Never without you.”

Lim and his wife have like.. 5 or 6 kids...... on purpose........ there are many family running jokes about it with varying levels of crudeness. They just want a big family... If everyone was like them the planet would regain its prewar population in a few scant generations. Besides, Lim is a stay-at-home dad and house manager, so there's someone to wrangle them all full-time.

Jocasta eventually gets married at the spinsterish age of 30 and has a reasonable amount of children. There's such a dearth of young Cardassian men after the war that nobody thought it was too unusual that she took that long, but still, societal expectations and whatnot. Garak is heartbroken when she moves out (last one to leave the nest.) He visits a lot especially after he retires.

Idk if Idan has kids! Probably eventually. He's a student though, he's got too much to do right now.

But he is a favorite uncle!
