Summary:

You love strawberries, bubble tea, and cheesecake. That doesn’t include a boy using a boba pickup-line in an attempt to get you.

I was at my desk with my drawing utensils sprawled out in front of me. I picked up my favorite graphite pencil and focused on sketching my bowl of fruits. It was early in the morning, and I had just woken up. After I freshened up, I decided to do something more productive. That’s how I ended up settling beside the bedroom window with a variety of papers and utensils set before me.

From the corner of my desk, I felt my phone vibrate, and my eyebrows furrowed as I reached for it. I checked and saw that it was a text message from my mom. She was requesting me to go out today and buy the groceries for the week. I set my pencil down and replied that I would. I got up from my chair and decided that I should get this trip over with before coming back to continue sketching.

By this time, my parents were both already at work, so it was up to me to make my own breakfast. I grabbed a pancake mix from the pantry and made myself a simple meal. I went along with my usual routine. Right after I finished washing the dishes, I grabbed my wallet and headed out. When I was at my front steps, I checked to see if the house doors were locked before I continued on my way.

When I arrived at the supermarket, I grabbed a basket and looked around. It has been a while since I’ve done the grocery shopping all by myself. I looked around and spent a little time getting sidetracked by the beautiful displays of baked goods. Next I went to look for groceries that my house was running out of. By the time I went to buy some milk I was exhausted by all the searching.

My basket was really starting to get very heavy, and it took all my strength not to leave my basket on the ground and never return. I somehow managed to persevere and now just had to shop for one last item. I was about to turn into a new aisle when my blood ran cold.

I froze on the spot when a familiar brown-haired guy came into view, shopping for some vegetables. I screeched a little, and he swiftly turned around. By instinct, I quickly rushed to hide behind a pile of oranges. I could feel my heart pounding savagely against my ribcage. My eyes squeezed shut, and hoping that he didn’t notice me. It had been a few days since that incident occurred. The last thing I remember with him was I chucked a piece of crumpled paper at his face.

After a minute hiding passed, I sighed in relief. I hesitantly opened my eyes slowly and quickly realized I made a huge mistake when I found myself face-to-face to a smiling Byun Baekhyun.

“Princess, I guess fate has its ways of allowing us to meet again,” he grinned, leaning closer. My eyes widened as I quickly leaned my head backwards, causing me to bang my head against the box of oranges. I winced in pain, rubbing the back of my head. At the same moment, an orange rolled out, about to hit my head. Before I had time to react, Baekhyun’s hand went into fast motion, snatching the orange before it could reach my head. I was frozen in shock while Baekhyun stared at me with…concern? He gently placed the orange back into the box, and brought his hand to rub the back of my head. I flinched at his touch, which only further worried him.

My face heated up at the proximity while Baekhyun soothingly rubbed the back of my head. Once I got over my shock, I abruptly stood up and backed away from him. That didn’t work out very well because my foot tripped over my basket. Before I could hit the ground a strong arm secured around my waist, setting me back in a standing position.

With his arm still around me, Baekhyun suddenly pulled me against his chest. I shrieked and started hitting his arm, causing him to yelp and release me. Another blush started spreading across my cheeks, and I blamed my idiotic clumsy self. Baekhyun looked at me with amusement and I sent him a harsh glare.

“Hey, that’s not how you treat someone who just saved you twice,” he scoffed while rubbing his arm. “I didn’t know you were that clumsy, princess.”

“Excuse me, this wouldn’t have happened if you never showed up,” I retorted, picking up that damn basket. “Whatever, I’m going to leave now.”

I turned around and walked away, but Baekhyun followed close behind. I was starting to get annoyed and tried to lose him by switching different aisles multiple times. Somehow that wasn’t enough, and I was starting to lose my patience with this guy. I attempted to ignore him as I stopped in front of the final item I had to buy. Baekhyun stood so close behind me, so that my back was touching his chest. He suddenly rested his chin on my shoulder, causing me to jump.

“Why are you still here Baekhyun?” I asked in a frustrated tone, while I took a step back to distance myself from him again. “Do you have any idea what personal space is?”

“Nope,” he grinned childishly, and pouted when I scowled at him. Then, he just had to bring up our last meeting at the boba shop, which I desperately wanted to forget. “It wasn’t really nice of you to throw that paper at me. Feisty, but I like it.”

Disgusted with his choice of words, I chose not to respond. When I turned back to look at him, I saw him leaning against the wall typing something on... my phone? I quickly set my basket down and patted my back pocket - which was empty. Oh, this boy is so dead. When Baekhyun saw my death glare, he feigned innocence. In the next moment, he beamed and ran the other direction.

“Byun Baekhyun, you are so dead,” I growled, sprinting after him around the store while Baekhyun only laughed joyfully. I tried my best to keep up with his long, fast legs, but it wasn’t working out too well. I needed to get my phone back from that brat. After a moment, I realized I lost him. My precious phone was still in his possession, but there was no sight of Baekhyun. I stood in the middle of an aisle, panting for more air.

“BOO!” a high pitched voice yelled behind me, causing me to yelp. I quickly turned around to see Baekhyun waving my phone in front of my face. “Are you looking for this, princess?” I reached up to snatch it away before he could do anything, but of course I was too slow. With Baekhyun being taller, he used it as an advantage and kept my phone out of reach. I jumped, in an attempt to reach for it again, but his hands were still too high up in the air. I hated the way Baekhyun looked down at me with a smirk.

“Give me my phone back right now,” I huffed, making another attempt to reach for it. Baekhyun chuckled and shook his head. It angered me more, but I suddenly had a wonderful plan that popped into my mind. I turned around and walked away, causing Baekhyun to become confused for a split second. Then I came back, but with a cucumber in my hand. “I won’t hesitate to beat you with this cucumber.”

“Woah there princess,” he raised both his arms up. “I was going to return your phone back anyways.” He handed back my phone with a playful gaze and I snatched it out of his hand aggressively, keeping it close to my chest. This boy was impossible. I rolled my eyes, and was about to walk away, but his hand caught my wrist, pulling me back towards him.

“What now?” I questioned, extremely annoyed.

I attempted to pull my arm away, but he whispered against my ear, “You may want to check your phone.”

I stood there in shock when Baekhyun let me go and turned to walk the opposite way. I decided to retrieve my basket first. After I finished checking out my items, I walked out of the grocery store. I hesitated to open my phone, only to be greeted by a smiling Baekhyun as my new wallpaper. Then I opened up my contacts to call my mom, to see that I have one new contact at the top of my list that read:

Baekhyun is the best boiiiiiii :)

I swear that if I ever see him again, I will get my revenge.

The rest of the month passed by in a blur, you finally found another job which kept you busy enough to forget about him even just a bit. You also explained everything to your mother and she absorbed everything you said calmly.

Your work isn't as boring as your last one, because this time you were working at Stark Industries, despite working for Tony he still helped you speed up the process of gaining your abilities back.

The bad thing was your connection with Rey had been cut off, no more surprise visits and news about Kylo.

But you still felt him, the remaining thread of your connection through the force reminded you that he was still there, waiting and hoping you'd come back soon. That was the reason why you still haven't given up.

"Y/n, you're going to be late for work." said your mother. "are you sure you don't want me to drive you there?"

"I can walk." you reassured her, "I'll see you tonight!" you called out before exiting the door and closing it behind you, the sun was extra hot today since there were no clouds to block it. You were entering a coffee shop to drink some coffee on the way to work when coldness washed through your body like a wave.

You felt your eyes roll back as your legs turned into jelly, you expected your body to hit the ground but a pair of arms caught you.

"Are you alright ma'am?" You blinked a couple of times to regain your composure.

"Yeah.. thanks for catching me, felt like my whole body just shut down." You let out a laugh, you noticed the cup of coffee on the ground and his stained shirt. "Oh! I'm sorry about your drink, let me buy you another one!"

"Uhhh... no need I-"

"I feel bad, please let me buy you another cup." He sighed in defeat and nodded. "What's your name?"

"Steve Rogers." He said.

"I'm Y/n, nice to meet you." You said with a smile, you went to buy his and your coffee, and then after that you apologized to him again and continued walking to work. "

"You're late again." Your co-worker said.

"I'm sorry, I ran into this guy and I needed to replace his drink." You put your bag down on your desk and started going through your work.

"Ooh, was he cute?" You thought back on his features, blonde hair, blue eyes, he looked like the opposite of Kylo.

"Looked like he was straight out of a comic book." You chuckled.

As you were working and chatting, Tony walked over to you, "Y/n, need to talk to you about something, come with me."

You nodded and stood up from your chair to follow him, you entered his office which had the big window and had the greatest view in the whole building.

"Here." He handed you a watch looking device. "It's supposed to track which word you're in and-"

"Where did you even get this?" You asked.

"We have more travelers in this world and some of them just happened to work along with me." He explained. "Anyways, it's going to track and check your vitals for you."

"That's cool." You smiled. "Do you have one too?"

"Yeah." He tugged up his sleeve to show you. "That's all you can go back to work."

"Thanks, Tony." You smiled at him before walking away.

It was 10 at night when you finally finished your work and arrived back home, your mom was surprisingly not there yet, your dog walked over to you and greeted you happily.

Your mom decided to get one so the house won't be so quiet anymore.

"I'm just going to change and then we can play, okay?" You scratched behind his ears before leaving him for a bit. You changed into comfortable clothes before going back to the living room to play with the puppy.

You were both playing quietly when the similar coldness from earlier happened to you again, you heard the muffled barks around you but you couldn't react to it. Your eyes rolled back as your body tipped backwards but this time you hit the floor with a thud, the device on your wrist started beeping loudly until you finally closed your eyes and lost consciousness.

You slowly opened your eyes and you were met by a familiar feeling, you immediately sat up and looked around you.

This can't be happening now.

"Y/n, you're awake." A voice that you never thought you'd hear again said.

"Vicrul, w-what-" He cut you off.

"Don't worry, only I know you're here." Vicrul smiled at you. "You left your notebook here, and I know everything."

Vicrul noticed that alarmed look on your face. "I'm not going to hurt you, I'm here to help."

"How did you find me?"

"You literally popped out of nowhere in the training room, thankfully I was the only one there and I got help from a friend.." as Vicrul finished his sentence Kuruk walked in.

"Surprised?" Kuruk raised his eyebrows at you and smirked, you rolled your eyes and Vicrul continued talking.

"We'll help you go to him."

"Who? Kylo?"

"Palpatine."
