I’m really sold on this being Chilchuck’s wife. We know they’re

childhood friends

the same age

and the black hair genes that Flertom has have to come from somewhere. And to me this seems like some sort of family friends gathering from when Chil was a kid. I doubt it’s just Chilchuck’s family bc we see none of his 5 siblings have black hair (except big maybe his older brother that’s only shown to have white hair from age), it could be the extended family from back when Flertom was a kid but I doubt it.

This page with the other party members too is all about family, community and routine, and gathering/dinners with tightly-knit half-foot family friends being commonplace, which ends up making the families’ kids childhood friends, doesn’t sound far fetched to me… But this is just a theory

Also the dragon plushie she’s holding~ Passed on from mother to daughter? The "most likely belonged to his daughters" is interesting too

Half Foot Surnames

ok so all of this being said, I need to know if half foot wives take their husbands’ names, their husbands’ fathers’ names, or keep their own fathers’ names once they’re married. Is Chilchuck’s wife’s name Mrs Chilchuck Tims, Mrs Chilchuck Chils, or Mrs Chilchuck [her father’s name here]? Vote now on your phones

The last name seems to come with a bit of hierarchy and ownership (for lack of a better term?) so it’s hard for me to pick which I like. Giving her the last name Tims puts her on equal standing with Chilchuck, but it seems weird for her to “belong” to his dad. And giving her the last name Chils makes it look like she belongs to Chilchuck and seems to put her on the same hierarchy as their children. Keeping her own surname makes sense to me if it’s indicative of one’s parentage, but that also means she doesn’t have a family name similar to either her spouse or her own children. So idk!!

EDIT: okay this meme left my friend group so I can’t believe I have to specify this, but I’m literally gay please stop saying “why does it say regular” that’s the original meme. that’s the joke of the original meme. The irony (and joke) of the original meme is that despite attempting to be accepting of all couples, it ultimately still perceived the heterosexual couple as “regular”.
