But whenever we get Jensen’s side it sounded a bit more probable.

I can't believe I'm giving this a very serious answer but after everything that has happened in my life recently the world's still a bit blurry and I don't know what I'm doing but I gave this a thought during the last year debacle and it hasn't changed. Of course your feelings are completely valid, anon, but allow me to be a little intense for once 💖

To me, cockles is not about two hot dudes banging (sometimes it is, when my brain is just a flat line of thought) but something that exists in the liminal. Their relationship is something that happened by pure chance because, lets be honest here, if Cas hasn't stayed for the long run we wouldn't be here talking about them as a thing. But it happened and everything's been crazyness between them (and for all of us who perceive) in every sense of the word and I love me some blorbos who are a little weird.

Love can take many forms and what happens between this two random guys is just one of those forms. Cockles is about two men that met and became friends, that celebrate an anniversary going to the same restaurant and the same table, take a picture and then publish it on IG. Two rich men that share not only clothes -that ok i can't get if i'm being generous- but jewelry! Like ???? This is the thing that keep haunting me in my dreams. Two men that love to tell one another the important things in life and chose to live together and stay at home instead of getting out. That have designated blankets and act goofy just to make the other laugh and help during uncomfortable situations and are in their softest form when they are together. And to me this doesn't have anything to do with the labels someone chose to identify themselves. Those things are real and are going to keep being no matter what.

Hi anon! Im unfortunately the worst person to ask for any evidence for anything because I have ADHD and am in stage of constant memory fog but I'll try my best here!

I think the first time I heard about Cockles living together it was in a post by @livebloggingmydecentintomadness. I tried looking for the post but couldn't find it (hi tumblr fix your search!!) but it was basically talking about how some fans got their hand on a utility bill in both Jensen & Misha's name for a Vancouver apartment. I don't know if there were ever photos of the said bill, I know people tried not to have it circulate too much, I assume bc that would have doxxed them both. This was around 2017-2018 I think?

I also believe that during one of the panels during that time period Misha said Vicky helped him recently move in with a "model friend" and well, we all know who his model friend is.

I think it was after Misha's poetry book was released in 2021 that it became evident the split between Misha & Vicky had happened a while ago and around the time Vicky helped him move in with a friend.

This all happened before my time aka 2020. What I personally was here for was the blankygate of 2021 when Misha sent out this text:

Which kind of solidified everyone's belief that Misha and Jensen lived together before pandemic.

For me personally there are other things that support this. Things like Misha saying Jensen is neat. You would never say something like this about someone you have not shared your personal space with! Or that Misha would pick Jensen (out of him and Jared) because Jensen is handy around the house and likes to fix things! Oh and sharing clothes of course!

I think this is all I've got for ya, anon. Here's a handy run doen what these two were up to during the period they lived together. I'm sure I'm missed some stuff, so people are very welcome to add to this.

Of course none of this is 100% proof of anything, especially not the romantic nature of their relationship. And nothing ever could be unless they state that yes they shared an apartment or yes they were/are together. Generally looking for "proof" in things like this is unrealistic, and makes me feel a bit uneasy (who am I? homophobic police??) and takes way from the real fun of rpf which is speculation.

so in 2018 at jib9 and at birmingham ukcon 2018 jensen went on a tangent about how he gives his clothes to misha because he doesn't wear the same clothes twice (read clothes as shirts) hence they always seem like they are sharing clothes? (everyone knows this/. this is like one of those cockles tales that everyone knows)

misha also mentioned the same thing about how people think he shares clothes with jensen but they don't it's just that jensen can't wear the same clothes twice

Anon, it’s clear that they have hang out tons of times outside of work.

They have dinner together alone.

If their relationship was just a work thing, they wouldn’t hang out. There are people I work with who I really adore, but I don’t go out with them to have dinner or lunch. But Jensen and Misha do. Just the two of them.

They also go out with Jensen’s wife. You don’t bring your wife to join you with your friend unless you’re really good friends. Not to mention that Misha and Danneel are great friends. If they were just good work buddies, I doubt that would have happened.

Also, they go on boat trips together

Also, in Asylum 7, Misha said that West took his first step at Jensen’s house. You don’t bring your kids to your work buddy’s house, anon. Also, their families have hung together in the past.

Other instances of how they aren’t just work buddies is that, when something funny happens, Jensen needs to see Misha in person to tell him instead of just calling him. Or the fact that they share clothes. Or how in vancon 2018 Jensen said he has many videos of Misha.

Or how on set they saw a beautiful sunset and they wanted to take photos together

Now, I'm also adding that they talk on the phone and do video calls when they can't meet and just do stuff becuase they like to. Jensen and Danneel wanted to do a show where they watched SPN episodes and talked about them, and the first person they thought to invite, was Misha.

And let's not forget how they support each other on any project they work on. Special mention goes to Jensen reading Misha's book, which we know that he might have struggled with because Jensen has ADHD, but he still read it. You don't do stuff like that for a work buddy.

Just go through my Cockles tag and you’ll see that Jensen and Misha aren’t just work friends. They’re best friends. It's so fucking obvious.
