Might actually have Rei be the one to name Cecilia

She's first known as the clone, with her, Cassandra, and Rei waiting until the sky is fixed so they can explain what happened in detail. Cassandra and Rei died in a snowstorm due to frostbite. Arceus was able to revive Rei, but Cassandra had become a hisuian zorua. Arceus cloned her as a result, the clone continuing to fill the pokedex in her place and protecting her.

Someone asks what the clone's name was, but before she can talk, Rei speaks up, saying how Cecilia means blindness and Kamado's blindness got Cassandra killed, which led to Cecilia having to be created. I can imagine something like this being said afterwards.

"Rei. I am just a clone of Cassandra meant to complete the pokedex now that she is unable to. I simply exist to protect Cassandra as her trainer and nothing else."

"Not to me."

Cecilia accepts her name when Rei explains that he views her as a friend, and even if she was created for one purpose, it doesn't mean she can't enjoy living and doesn't stop her from making her own goals.

I dunno, they just make me happy.

Really, I probably should have waited a day to publish this in August, but it’s close enough. 😊 TFS: Book Two is progressing very well.

I recently surpassed a word count milestone while working on some RO branches! Each character is getting special attention. The words keep stacking up every day, fueled by your support and encouragement, as I work away at the outline. This book should be over 1 million words.

You all will be meeting some new characters in Book Two, although deepening the bonds/relationships with the Fernweh Gang is the main focus. There are also a lot of scenes with A. Corvin and more encounters with Ms. Verner, Marjorie, Milton, and even Officer Warren. It’s been so much fun working on the character dynamics and writing MC choices. 📚

Becca Warrick:

After seeing Alex zone out the entire day after reading that "condolence letter", Becca sees it as her mission to accompany them in a makeshift roadtrip.

Alex is extremely grateful for Becca's comforting (grounding) presence while in Fernweh, a place that is now unfamiliar. Alex knows their self-isolating tendencies were one of the reasons Becca wanted to stick close, but they don't fault her for it.

Alex feels responsible for Becca's well-being the same way, since they knew the Fernweh citizens wouldn't be as hospitable as the Dorran family. They are both ride-or-die for each other.

If Alex thought leaving Fernweh would be bittersweet, having doomed Becca to being stuck in town it's only bitter.

Silas Dorran:

Silas and Alex were both on the quieter side, but that didn't stop them from bonding over their shared interests.

They would both spend afternoons reading quietly together, or having Alex infodump about the different mythologies and tales their Grandpa taught them.

The years away have made Silas harder to read, for Alex at least, but they still hold onto those fond memories.

Also Alex wants to let it be known that if Silas hasn't asked to borrow that encyclopedia, they would've snatched it for themself.

Reese Verner:

Oh how to even begin describing Reese Verner? Alex never understood why a Verner would even care about them, let alone see them as an opponent in any way, and yet a rivalry blossomed between them. He could make them flip between (very) begrudging fondness and exasperated annoyance in a heartbeat.

Alex wasn't sure WHEN they developed a crush on their rival, but they knew it was something they were going to take to their grave. Being forced to leave Fernweh came earlier though.

Almost a decade passing can do wonders for an one-sided crush, but having to return to Fernweh changed things again. Their childhood rival was flirting? With them???

With a mix of disbelief, a rare feeling of insecurity and something bordering almost on denial, they try not to get their hopes up. They HAD to leave in a week, after all. When they shake Reese's hand they can’t help but wonder if it's perhaps for the best...

Jane Corvin:

Their best friend! Their favorite person ever! Or so it's what they would've said had they been asked years ago. Alex saw Jane as essentially a platonic soulmate, even daydreaming of moving in together when they grow up.

The house fire was hard, but leaving without saying goodbye was somehow harder, something they still harbor some guilt over even if irrationally. The only thing left from those years of friendship being a necklace they couldn't even bear to wear nor throw away.

Seeing Jane after all those years left a bittersweet taste. Alex didn't know where they would fit in her life, if they would still fit in her life, (they would have to leave again, they shouldn't, couldn't stay).

Their dynamic still has some lingering awkwardness from the years away, but Alex wants to make up for the absence. It's the least she deserves.

The Waiter:

Their interest in the elusive waiter isn't completely physical in nature. He also makes them feel deeply intrigued.

Ramble and random thoughts:

Why don't they remember ever meeting or seeing him around? Why does he seem to know so much?

Ignoring their instincts, their caution and the voice in their head warning them about stranger danger (it sounds suspiciously like Becca), they accept his drink.

Their curiosity got the best of them, that and this strange allure that seems to draw them together. Spending some more time together could be the thing that makes them able to decipher him.

Ok so, my favorite TFS ability is actually Empathetic Impressions BUT I decided to make Retrocognition Alex's canon one. Why?

Because it is the one most similar to their Grandpa's :3

Impressions is more emotion-based and the other one feels more... instinct-based? So I wanted a time-related to match with their Grandpa's weird future-sight thing. Especially because Alex has their Issues and Grudges tm towards him. It rubs salt in the wound c:

That's also why I made their Past Susceptibility be Buried. I thought it would be funny to make the person trying to repress their past have an ability to Literally see into the past.

I also made them have high Skeptic stats because they don't want to become like their Grandpa. They saw the similarities and said no thanks actually.

Yes, their whole character creation was me trying to see how much dramatic irony I could add to their life before I decided I was being Too mean. I am not beating the ??? allegations am i

Another fun fact but despite the Merciful stat, they actually took the cruel choice with the Spriggan and the lighter. Perhaps they view it as a mercy? Considering they would've liked to do way worse to the thing that hurt their friends

Also if Reese wasn't my favorite (no shit), their canon romance would've probably been Becca or Jane since I believe feeling comforted and having a sense of familiarity is probably something they crave in a relationship

Regardless of route however, I think having a past crush on Reese is canon to them in all my playthroughs. Me 🤝 Alex. Having horrible taste.

Not that I think he's a bad choice but yknow between your undyingly loyal best friend and your cool and chill neighbor, having a crush on that one guy who competes with you everyday is objectively not the easiest route lol.

After yet another comment vowing to die for Rhodes Bannister…

Rhodes Bannister: Old lawyer/farmer who raised Tubbo and then joined the Hivemind and became their unbudging moral compass. Holds cute mock-trials for bickering kiddos. Kinda tortured Tubbo that one time, but grows from that. A very sweet old man.

Rosalind Parra-Cardozo: A naive Foundation employee who tried to help Tommy and Tubbo escape, and instead was subsumed into the Hivemind. Mom-friend, fell for Foundation propaganda that really needs to get sorted out. Called Tommy a child (clearly delusional).

Lawrence Lethe: He killed Ranboo and Rosalind, and yet somehow he has people rooting for his redemption arc. Which he's going on reluctantly, because he's a bitter guy. Helped Charlie, Halo, Skeppy, Philza, and some others escape I guess. If he wins I stop writing Fault.

Dr. Blake: She's kinda the worst but that's because people hate to see a girlboss winning. And by winning I mean giving Tommy PTSD, cutting off Tubbos' hand, and manipulating anomalies into becoming the monsters the Foundation wants to see. Fully believes she's the vulnerable victim just doing what she must to survive.

Webb: Gaslight king. On the minimizing/deflecting side of the manipulation spectrum. Has a weird rivalry thing going on with Philza. Amnesticized Philza so thoroughly that he forgot his own children even existed (and did a lot of murder about it). Just an alcoholic divorced bisexual trying to protect humanity.

Jasmine Fletcher: The five year old Little in the Hivemind. She’s compassionate and sassy. Her favorite color is ultraviolet! She likes dinosaurs and flying and not being shot by her parents!!!

Chad Bowinger: My favorite tbh. He's just a hyper-competent and respectful body guard turned Foundation goon. What more do you need? Currently living off the grid with Charlie, Halo, Skeppy, and Maureen + wife in what I'm sure is a delightful sitcom.

Anderson Corvin: An archeologist that discovered a dinosaur named Philza. Had a cute wholesome suburban life with Philza, prone to things like rambling about history and getting shot in the head. Had 2 (two) murderous rampages in his honor. Yay...?

Maureen Johnson: A body guard just trying to make the world a little safer for her wife. Willing to trust anomalies, but attempted to thwart escape efforts. Did not appreciate Charlie slime puppeting her body for some reason?

Willow Haynes: An annoying teen conspiracy theorist who discovered fairies are real! Teenage Tubbo was less thrilled about her 'discovery'. Had a Shane + Ryan dynamic with Tubbo. In reality, she noticed Tubbo was lonely and was trying to convince them anomalies existed so they could find someone to relate to.

Morgan: Okay Morgan isn't in Fault. Sue me. They're a shy Foundation Observer who tries to warn employee!Philza not to be obviously attached to the cute new Tommy anomaly. Scared into being loyal to the Foundation. They didn't sell Philza out, but were also a coward.

Crumbled up note with 'wlw and mlm dumbass solidarity'

Long standing Warframe OCs given actual (personal) canonical depiction - due to Duviri/New War giving a lot more leeway to preserve previous fan concepts intact and can play with canon easier. c: With 'Operator' as in-game storyline, and 'Tenno' as an alternate timeline where-in the results after the Zariman's return came out differently. Orb pondering rambling below -

Above is three depictions of Paeva 'Corvin' and Diviyoni-Jacob Warren; as operator, as drifter, as Tenno; with Warren's each having different 'called' names to better distinguish between them. Operator Warren is Jacob, Drifter Warren is Arali, Tenno Warren is Diviyoni. All are vertexes of Warren, but each having their own 'piece' in the story. They all were the son of a public figure and a military pilot, raised solely by their father, and stood alone on the Zariman and faced TMITW. Futures frayed, Arali cast to the drifts holds the remnant of the suffocated possibilities, and makes the link between Jacob and Diviyoni.

A lone fray links (operator) Paeva's involvement decided fate - and Diviyoni is what becomes if Warren hadn't been taken under Margulis' wing. Of many on the Zariman, few survived for it to break through, and fewer to be directly protected by Margulis as the Old War raged on. As Jacob learned by careful tending nurture; Diviyoni learned by brute force and unabated trauma.

Too long to pin in the details, the later was already subject of a nearly 183k word fanfiction series [ found here as Warren: Sprout ]. To draw it short, Diviyoni would only later be taken into the fold of the Lotus' system wide network in his late teens - where (tenno) Paeva would be his direct contact to learn the ropes. In this time he better tended to his psychological and emotional issues, and persuaded his interests in warframe morphology and finding ways to help severely wounded ones recover (especially those not tied to a survivor of the zariman).

The most prominent ones were; Kiln - a towering Oberon that waited beside their deceased operator in a severely damaged Orbiter with their companion warframes too far gone to save. Arkis - a less-than friendly asocial Nova he rescued from a corpus stronghold after an argument with his father-figure; and Malaphin.

(Tenno) Paeva was strict under the Lotus purview, she was a loner through-and-through but was asked to mentor Diviyoni on procedures as they were still recovering from Lua being pulled from the Void. And thus Diviyoni hid a second vessel from her to help foster a home for warframes to retire from the constant wars. He held up taking missions between working on it, but as he took preoccupation to ease Malaphin from the ties of corrupted arboriforms, it became more noticeable he was abandoning his post.

They fought. Tempers, philosophy, morals, and fists until Paeva's chosen frame stepped in - Varik, a beefy Nova she had a close bond with. As being Unairu, tempered to endure and keep standing, Diviyoni won out. Even if it was an underhanded tactic to override Paeva's somatic signal, it was to protect those he cared about.

Paeva left, tail between her legs, and chose to vanish. And re-evaluate her choices.

Between then and the Heart of Deimos, Warren would hone his abilities to repair Malaphin whom he became close to. To where the 'second vessel' outgrew him, and he would set out with Malaphin to take odd jobs in the same venue his father figure (T'viska) would.

At Deimos, he would face the prospect of his history as being the son of a public figure of the dead Orokin empire. To confront the phantom that hung at the edges of his vision since he was swallowed by the void a second time by the explosion of a liset. Arali, the haunting in his vision, held all the pain he swallowed down through his torment through the Old War, were a fraction of him torn by the void. He stood before his reflection in the void, held out his hands, and embraced the pain that stood before him.

And after, he would settle into the arms of his companion, his partner, his lover, Malaphin once more.

Arali would give him his arm in trade to help their younger self, reluctant, but settled as it means Jacob would be spared of further childhood trauma as they had not a father figure in a loki - paternal love not tied to enduring the trauma of repetitive deaths as warframes - but in a mother figure in the echo of Margulis, in the Lotus whom cared for every single one who survived the Zariman.

Story: 3 out of 5 Smut: 5 out of 5

Normally I love bully romances or romances where the male love interests are unapologetic assholes, but there was just something about these three heathens that ALMOST made me dnf this book. Fortunately, I didn't, and I ended up liking the story well enough.

Romina is the most innocent and pure individual, and I wanted to protect her at all costs. Then I realized she had to learn what she liked, and I realized she fit in rather well with the heathens after all. The overturning of Roe V. Wade and the punishment of doctors was a little too real, and I'd never rooted for devil worshippers more than I had when I read this book.

Some of the spice was questionable, especially given how innocent Romina is in the beginning, and then it was downright filthy towards the end.

I might not have liked it as much as I thought I would, but I still recommend others to read it.

They chose their own last name too, not wanting to keep their family's name. It doesn't have a whole lot of meaning, they just thought it sounded cool, but if asked they would say something about going in a different direction to their family.

>Tyde chose his middle name with the help of Cirrus after they met and became friends. He wanted something with meaning (dahlias can symbolize change), and he thought it sounds really nice. It will vary by RO with your choices also having an impact on what your relationship status is. The Fernweh Saga is a series; there will be growth, hardships, etc. over the course of the books, which may give you an idea, especially with certain characters compared to others. Different burns. 👀

what's your favourite thing to cook that doesn't take a lot of energy/concentration?

Roasted veggies all the way!!!

You're gonna start with preheating an oven to 400 and chopping your veggies and potatoes. You can even buy them pre-chopped to save yourself some prep. Here's two ways to do it.

1) Yellow onions, bell peppers, and potatoes. Cumin, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt.

2) Red onions, carrots, potatoes, and/or squash. Italian herb mix, garlic powder, optional nutmeg or cinnamon, and salt.

Then add 2 T of olive oil. Mix it all together in a baking pan. Stick it in the oven for thirty minutes, taking it out once halfway through to stir. Bam, done. ^^

Sweet potato fries are pretty easy, healthy, and filling. You can make oven fries the same way - I just like to use garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper for them instead, and then sometimes top them with parmesan cheese - but you can dip them in whatever.

You can eoast some broccoli @400 in a pan for 30 minutes with some dried herbs and garlic powder and olive oil. Stir halfway through. Deeeelicious. Here's a slightly more complicated (but even yummier) version of roast broccoli.

Another tip is to get garlic paste, ginger paste, or even garlic-ginger paste. Saves you the time and effort of chopping/grating ginger and garlic AND tastes fresher than the powder.

Rice is great too, and inexpensive. A bag of white rice will last you forever. If you don't know how to make rice, here's how: Wash and drain it a few times. 1 3/4 cup water to 1 cup of dry rice in a pot. Add a T of oil or butter and a tsp of salt. Let it come a boil. Put a lid on it and turn the heat to medium low, forget about it for 20 minutes. Set a timer lol. When it goes off, take the rice off the heat (just check to make sure the rice has soaked up all the water - keep it on for a few minutes if it hasn't. Fluff the rice with a fork after a few minutes.

Meanwhile you can sautee a bag of frozen stir fry veg mix in a T of sesame oil (or any oil if you don't have sesame), 2 T soy sauce, garlic-ginger paste, salt. You can add extra stuff (like chili powder, cayenne, or curry powder) but them's the basics. Stir until the veggies are soft. Serve over rice.

You can also buy yellow rice in packs, the seasonings already in there. Sautee some onions and peppers first. Dump in your pack of rice. And then 1 3/4 cup chicken or veggie broth every 1 cup of rice. Add a tsp of dried herbs and salt and a bay leaf or two.

Let it come to a boil, then put a lid on it, reduce the heat to medium low. Forget about it for like 20 minutes. You can add pigeon peas (or green peas if you can't find pigeon peas) and pimento peppers toward the end if you want. :) Goes great on its own or with black beans or platanos maduros which are also really simple.

And there's no shame in doctoring up a jar of spaghetti sauce. Here's my recipe for that. I like to have it with gnocchi, though it's great with plain old spaghetti noodles or any other kind of noodle!

I also like to do wraps and sandwiches. Sometimes for lunch I'll just put some cheese, mustard or hummus, and lettuce on a tortilla or some bread. Super easy and pretty tasty too, a good depression/executive dysfunction friendly food.

Oatmeal is great, too. You can do overnight oats - where you just put half a cup of in a jar with a cup of water/milk/almond milk. I like putting brown sugar, cinnamon, and just a tiny bit of salt in my oatmeal, along with either chocolate chips and a spoonful of peanut butter or chopped apples and a spoonful of peanut butter. With overnight oats, you leave it in the fridge overnight and it's all absorbed in the morning. They're cold. For hot oatmeal you can just do it the regular way in the morning, put all your ingredients in a bowl in the microwave for like 3 minutes.
