Insane to me that vash artists have finally upgraded from plant pussy/dick to uncanny valley vash. I have been thinking about fucked up, just barely noticeably nonhuman vash for months now

Vash who has to file his canines because they never stop growing, vash who has a second eyelid and has a second set of lungs. Like this, limbs so loose and his mind so fuzzy, he could almost hear the concerned lecturing and poorly concealed laughter as he sat and watched as Nai got his turn getting the half-melted snow and freshly fallen flakes toweled out of his hair and brushed off his coat, or as a hair dryer would be taken to his wings and feather-coated skin. The both of them tinged blue under it all and their caretaker in a frenzy over the sight.

Unfortunately, this means that Ari can no longer leave his cave. Oh, well. He’ll wow her so hard with his ability to care for her that she’ll HAVE to see he’s the perfect mate for her.

"You don't have to eat," Wolfwood said, in slow understanding. "But, you can? Aren't you hungry? When did you last eat something?"

Vash held up three fingers.

"Three days?" That wasn't as bad as Wolfwood was afraid of. Not great, of course...but no, Vash was making a negating motion. "Three... weeks."

Vash continued to shake his golden head.

"Three months?" Wolfwood almost begged for that to be it. And it wasn't. "Three years." He stopped, stared at Vash, who was looking at him cheerfully as though eager to see him keep going. "Thirty years."

Vash made a happy trill and toasted him with his beer. The can sounded suspiciously light.

"You haven't had solid food in your system in thirty years and I just gave you a fucking tallboy of stout?" Wolfwood demanded, and plucked the can out of Vash's face-wing. It was empty.

Vash chirped at him in a hopeful way. He was wobbling slightly and bits of him kept going invisible.

"No, you can't have another one!"
