Actually, I don't think I've ever done a dtyis before 👀 so this was really fun.

I... actually don't think I've ever drawn Passive!NM either tbh. This entire drawing was kinda like a personal challenge to myself, since I often lack w/ backgrounds too.

I did kinda a study on the originals background, because I tend to just draw characters w/o a solid background, and when I do add a background characters usually blend into it a lil too well to discern figures, so the color choices and soft loose lines compared to the hard lines + cell shading felt really nice.

I also decided to go back to Procreate for this one too! Normally I draw w/ Medibang these days, but I learned to draw utau stuff on Procreate and so drawing them elsewhere feels wrong.

And, of course, the last note I'll add in the actual post: my sketch process is trash lmao. Literally I just wing the shapes of clothes and junk based on the vibes and resize as needed. I love looking at the og sketch tho cuz it's so... bald. No under-form, no indicator of limbs, nothing.

I’m sorry I genuinely cannotttttt understand how some ppl bash joe even in a joking manner. Like the poor guy did nothing wrong (that we know of) but so many ppl are making such snide remarks by comparing him to Travis which is not only condescending but actually kind of mean! HELLO did we listen to the same reputation album??? You can’t praise Travis for letting Taylor bejeweled and then rip joe to shreds in the same breath when joe was the one there for her in a clearly difficult and trying time in her life

Omg a question I actually don’t know much about!! So I believe you’re def correct about him living in Florida, I think Jacksonville to be exact (ironic lol). From his documentary that came out a couple years back, there’s some shots of his house n the outside as well. It seems like he’s got a little bit of anchorage, sorta “swampy” area with back patio docks and lots of trees. Didn’t seem like there was any flowers, but I wouldn’t put it past him to have some potted plants.

As for cars etc. he’s a huge bike collector and owns at least three, (if not more) Harleys. Plus a Ducati. He used to have a huge black pickup (not sure if it was a Ram or not but probably a half ton) but he sold that a bit ago (shown in his insta stories).

In terms of rooms, I’m not too sure. But he stated in a Tone Deaf mag interview that he’s held off on having a family due to being part of Slipknot/touring: “I’ve put off having a family, ’cause I knew that I was gonna be gone on the road all the time, so when I go home, it’s just, like, me,” he said. “Some of the other guys — Clown [Shawn Crahan] and Corey [Taylor] — they have children and wives and things like that. And I’m sure for them, it’s a weird transition to make.” So honestly, I’m assuming that he has one bedroom and maybe a guest room, living room etc. think man cave probably, but a fancy one. Since he’s def got a thing for style lol. Also he has a big garage, there’s pics I think on his insta from a while back w/ a lot of shit in there and space.

Too many sims

#this took like 3 hours #thats not counting the hour i spent last night digging through the localthumbcache to find pictures for them #i still need to go through it again cuz not all of them were there #and some sims aged up since the last ones saved #also i wasnt sure on some of them #because theres a lot of them #i wanted to get this done before the game started deleting them from the family tree #cuz that usually happens after a few generations but it happens a lot faster if you have a lot of sims youve actively played with #anyways im just gonna play a normal legacy now and just keep track of what happens with the extended family from the sidelines #theres also a few immortal sims in the family so we'll see what happens there #theyve already had partners die and remarried #also some of my original sims kids were the children of immortal sims #and those immortal sims have gone on to also have kids with some of my sims other kids #so uh #its a bit of a tangled web #im tempted to add spouses to see how tangled i can make it look but idk the limitations of the plum tree app #also thatll take a really long fucking time #so i might just stick with the sims directly descended from my original sim

Thinking about the time years ago here on tumblr I made a post and I referred to a nonbinary character as “it” and someone said “hey could you please not call them ‘it’? As a nonbinary person it hurts to see a canon nonbinary character be called an ‘it’” and I just had to sit down like “hey, buddy… do you know HOW we as a fandom knew this character was nonbinary? Because its bio ONLY USES IT/ITS PRONOUNS FOR IT.”

Like. You’re telling me people saw a character who used it/its pronouns and went “ah so THEY’RE nonbinary. We must use THEY/THEM for this character now.” Like what.
