Taylor’s reputation got saved by Joe all of those years. If she had never met him, she would’ve been unable to recover from the backlash. I am an ex swiftie so I can say that Taylor around him had a different personality. It seemed like she had some personality and that she had finally learned some real maturity (apologizing to Katy Perry for example) and that she was ready to be more outspoken about social issues but it was just fake. This was her trying to fit into Joe’s activism. It’s not a coincidence that she’s back to being her very immature self and out of touch with reality self since she’s now dating men that are equally as awful as her. Not only that but Joe participated in the making of Folklore/Evermore - lyrically her most mature albums. She really fumbled the bag but I hope Joe finds someone that actually deserves him.
More and more people are starting to realise that Joe was the lyrical genius behind Folklore. Without him we get crass lines like 'tattooed golden retriever' and 'he touches me while his bros play Grand Theft Auto.'
I would like all Americans (and everyone else) who are excited for the Superbowl to know: Before the actual Superbowl there's a live tournament on TV, here in Germany, called "American Ice Football".
It is exactly what it sounds like: American Football but played on Ice, in shoes with entirely smooth soles.
It's a tournament with 4 teams and they are called Eastside Ossis, Westside Wessis, Northcoast Naughties and Southside Smoothies and it's just hilariously entertaining.
While Americans are distracted watching the Super Bowl, Israel has chosen to begin bombing over a million Palestinians.
It’s timed too conveniently to be a coincidence.
There’s nothing we can do to stop this but please don’t be silent. Even if you’re watching the game, please use your voice to condemn genocide in this moment and afterwards.
“she’s going to write a breakup song about you” is basic. “she’s going to not only sing the love songs she wrote about you to someone else but also change a lyric to specifically make it about her new partner” is smart. it’s possible. it’s terrifying.
Speaking to PEOPLE at QVC's first-ever Age of Possibility summit in Las Vegas, Donna shares, "I listened to the whole album, and I listened to it all morning long when it was released."
"I was just very impressed. She is a very talented woman, and I think it is probably her best work," Donna adds about the new album, in which Swift, 34, seemingly references her romance with Travis Kelce on multiple tracks.
travis stood with his hands behind his back as taylor ran up to him. he let HER decide how public tonight would be and how much everyone got to see, and took her lead.
