Okay, I wanted to say some things but not in reblogs cause I am a scaredy cat … little ramble about the context of forced fem under there. Please note that these are just some personal feelings and they aren’t in response to any one thing that any one person has said done or wrote.

I love the idea of feminization as an act of love a lot, and it relates to some strong feelings I had lately about forced fem as a humiliation tactic. I’ve never heard of forced masc for the sake of humiliation. I wonder why that is. And so the idea of a man being forced to do or wear traditionally feminine things so that they feel embarrassed, ashamed, humiliated, well. That feels very misogynistic…

Of course I’m not here to tell people what they should write or not write. But I am maybe saying that we should sometimes question our motives, and maybe question the hidden biases that exist within kink.

I couldn’t figure out why forced fem made me feel like shit. And why it especially made me feel like shit of the character was trans. And that is my own complicated feelings. But the idea of forcing someone to act out the gender roll that they transitioned from as humiliation seems… awful.

Don’t get me wrong! Clothing has no gender, makeup has no gender. I believe that no matter how you identify in the gender binary or outside of that, you should explore whatever gender expressions that you want. I believe transmen can get in touch with feminine gender expressions and transwomen can explore masculinity and everyone everywhere in between can do whatever they want. I want this to be CRYSTAL CLEAR!!!!! Also! I feel there is a difference between encouraging someone to do something that makes them feel embarrassed because they’re shy or out of their comfort zone and making someone feel bad/humiliated for doing “girl things”. Also if forced masc does exist, I will stand corrected.

It’s just the idea that what is traditionally “woman things” is humiliating, it feels wrong. Especially since there’s no such thing as forced masc as far as I know.
