Imagine:
Being there for Camila at the hospital
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Request: Yes or No
Pronouns for y/n: he/him/his
~~~
"Can you tell her I love her?"
"Tell her yourself." Slamming the car door and stepping back, you glared at the back of the car as it sped off into the night with Teddy and the guy you'd grown to dislike. You couldn't even believe Teddy wanted you to do a song with them.
Huffing softly, you shoved your hands into the pockets of your jacket and turned toward the hospital to tell Camila her husband wouldn't be visiting her. Anger stabbed into your stomach and appeared to be evident, as nurses and patients stepped out of your way in a hurry.
You allowed the anger the dissipate as you caught the attention of a nurse and asked for directions, feeling your muscles begin to relax despite the atmosphere of the hospital. The nurse led you to a room, opening the door and smiling at the patient.
"Hey, sweetheart. Your husband is here." She cooed, giving you a small smile before leaving the room. You stepped further inside, seeing the look on Camila's fall slightly, disappointment settling on her features for a brief second. Then, it was replaced by her typical sweet smile. Camila Dunne: the girl that was far too good for this world.
"I wasn't aware we were married, (Y/N)." She said, giggling softly but you could hear the exhaustion and sadness beneath her tone.
"Billy isn't coming, Cami."
"I know." Camila responded softly, peering down at the bundle in her arms. She gently rocked her newborn, glancing up at you with soft eyes. "Would you like to meet her?"
Stiffening, you swallowed thickly and took slow steps toward the hospital bed until you were by her side, looking down at the baby. "She's... pretty." She looked like a wrinkled potato but you certainly weren't going to tell Camila that.
"Isn't she?" Camila's smile widened and she gently stroked her finger along her daughter's cheek. Her head shifted slightly, eyes drifting toward the door, false hope that her husband would walk in and be with them. And despite your growing annoyance with the opinionated man, you couldn't deny the fear and tremble in his voice when he looked at the hospital.
"Are your parents coming? I wouldn't want you to be alone right now."
"I'm not alone, am I? I've got you and Julia." Camila gazed up at you warmly, reaching a hand out to place it on your arm. "But, yes, they are coming." She nodded, inhaling softly and squeezing your arm affectionately.
"Thank you, (Y/N). You being here means a lot to me."
You watched your neighbors' backyard from the window of your house, little by little boxes were being packed and there was a lump in your throat. You try to ignore it, but ever since Billy came back things had been like that, distant, as if you were observing something that was so close to you now as paintings in a museum.
Warren leaves through the front door towards his van, he and Eddie had already told you that they were going out to the cinema that afternoon, a while later Graham's girlfriend arrived and with them Karen joined them to the beach. The last person you see leave the door some time later is Billy, you couldn't tell where he was going and honestly you didn't want to know, all that mattered was that he was finally gone.
You left your house as quickly as you could, knocking on the door three times hoping that Camila would open it soon. When her figure appears you don't take long to kiss her, surprised she gasps and after a few seconds she reasons and kisses you back urgently.
“Have you gotten tired of me since your hubby arrived, huh? You whisper against her neck, trailing your kisses down her jaw and neck. You had missed the sighs it caused the brunette in front of you.
“No…” She murmurs, letting out a heavy sigh then, holding your hair. “I just, fuck, I -”
You smile against her skin, pulling away to find her dilated pupils showing her need for you. She feels herself falling apart under your gaze, knowing that you could hold her, needing your hold.
“You just what?” You question, whispering.
“He didn’t leave the house.” She justifies herself, and you smile sarcastically.
You get closer to her, touching your noses, still looking deeply at her, she could feel your breathing and it made her feel unsteady. She wraps her arms around your neck, wanting you closer and closer.
“Jules is sleeping, you know?” She whispers, stroking the strands of her hair. “Don’t you want to enjoy this time with me?”
“Do we have the house to ourselves?” you ask, wanting to confirm. Camila nods.
You place her against the wall, kissing her even more intensely, her hands urgently pulling your hair with desire and longing. You squeeze her waist, showing that you want her closer and closer, guiding her to the couch where he made her lie down so you could admire her.
“Take your clothes off.” You ask as you sit on the floor to observe her figure better.
You watch her take off her dress little by little, and you knew this was something she did to tease you. When she was completely naked and the day's wind hit her skin making her shiver, you decided to give her other reasons to shiver. You spread her legs and touch her gently, receiving moans and whimpers asking you for more.
Your smile reveals how much you enjoy every minute, and when her body explodes with pleasure you continue to stimulate her until she scratches your arms with pleasure. You get up to kiss her lips tenderly, she wraps you in her arms as she feels your lips against hers for a few seconds.
“Can we go upstairs?” She asks, pulling away from your kiss.
Your heart flutters with each step on the way to your room, you've been there before but now something is different. Billy's return from rehab had been a turning point in your relationship. You met her when you moved in next door and slowly couldn't help but fall in love with her kind and unique soul.
She had been very accepting since your move, you were together every day since her friends and her husband were on tour. She felt very abandoned and alone, you gradually got closer and gave each other this support, gradually it became something more like affection here and there, silly hands and at the end passionate kisses. You surrendered to this relationship little by little and with everything you had, you were falling in love.
The room where you used to spend early mornings and afternoons taking care of each other and, after Julia was born, taking care of the baby. It had become the place where Billy gradually became part of the life of the woman you loved, She pulls you out of your thoughts by throwing your body against your bed and kissing you once again.
“I missed us.” She says, taking off your blouse, and kissing your entire neck, making you gasp against her mouth.
“Are you sure about this?” You say comically, making her look up into your eyes.
“Do you want me to prove it to you?” She says taking your kisses lower and lower, you can't help but moan.
She slowly opens your legs wanting more access so she can taste you, she works magic with her mouth and tongue making you tighten the sheets while rolling your eyes.You really missed being by her side, both sexually and on your days off laughing and having fun, when you let out a louder moan letting your body relax with pleasure she looks up into your eyes and licks her lips making the butterflies in your stomach dance.
She lies next to you while you put on your clothes, and observe the woody ceiling that you often observed together. But instead of her snuggling into your chest like usual, she lays down a little further away, you frown and let the air out of your lungs.
She looks at you and perhaps notices your shy figure, You try not to look back because you know you would want to pull her close and tell her you love her.
“Are you okay Y/N?” She asks, sitting up. “Something happened? I did something?”
You just deny it, sitting and watching Júlia's crib next to you.
“How are you holding up?” You ask, your voice low. “I mean, you weren’t okay with all of this and Billy’s return either.”
“We are rebuilding our relationship. I think, he seems to be wanting to change.” You let out a disbelieving laugh, she looks at you trying to understand.
“I’m sorry Cami, I just…” You shrug, looking at her finally. “I thought he would be part of Julia's life.”
“Of course he will, he’s her father.” Camila agrees with you.
“No Cami, I thought he would be just that, your daughter’s father.” You let go at once, leaving her surprised.
She stays silent, you let out a sad and heavy sigh. Getting ready to get up, she holds your waist.
“Where are you going?” Her voice was now choked, you shrugged.
“What is my role here? Look, I don't want to be your lover while you have a happy life with that guy.” You let out, trying to hold your tears.
“I don't want you to feel this way.” she says, stroking her fingers. “You know you’re important to me.”
You let her speak, watching her with your teary eyes.
“Just me, Billy and I have a history.” Camila says looking down. “Of course, it had its obstacles, you know that, but I feel like we can make it happen. That he and I can improve so we can have the family we dream of and-”
“Camila, he left you in labor alone!” you say in disbelief.
“He was going through sobriety issues, come on, you know-”
“What I know is that he left you completely helpless during your pregnancy, cheated on you while you were carrying your daughter and even left you while you were giving birth!” Little by little your voice became more indignant.
“You wouldn't understand...” she says and that's when you let your tears fall, feeling trapped in a nightmare. “You don't stop loving someone when things get hard, at least I can't…”
“I wouldn't understand? You being serious right now?” You say with a choked voice. “I love you, I was with you here from the beginning even with everything falling apart. And I don't understand?”
She doesn't answer you, you agree with her silent statement.
“Honeys, I'm home!” Warren's voice emanates from downstairs.
“I can't do this, I'm sorry.” You say, adjusting your clothes as you wipe away your tears. “I love you too much to see you unhappy, and if that's what you want. I will leave you to it.”
“Hey, we can talk about this…” Camila begs, you deny with your head, opening the bedroom door.
“If you change your mind, I’ll be next door.” You say before disappearing through the door.
She watches you leave with a tightness in her chest, which unfortunately wasn't big enough to make her ask you to turn around. Days later, you watch her leave the house alongside her husband and daughter with boxes, momentarily your eyes connect and you feel your heart give up with the smile that indicated goodbye.
...
Hi, I hope you enjoyed it... If you wanted to ask for something my requests are open, and if you want to ask and don't have any ideas check out my prompt list :) xoxo
Last Forever | Eddie Roundtree x Reader
Request from anonymous: hii!! i love your eddie fics, you’re an amazing writer! i was wondering if i could put in a request where eddie and reader are both in the band and as they’re up on stage they look at each other while performing (kinda like billy and daisy i guess?). Karen and Camila notices this and they talk about it with reader and reader is in denial because her and eddie are good friends and she doesn’t want to jeopardize that (they became friends over their hatred of billy😭). but they end up together in the end though? thank you💕💕
Warnings: Angst, fluff, profanities, kissing
Daisy Jones and The Six Masterlist
Tumblr media
Everytime you walk out on stage, you instantly get high off of the thrill of seeing the crowd bursting with energy. The audience cheers as the band walks out onstage, jumping up and down while waving their hands in the air. You'll never get tired of this. To think you had once believed you'd never make it out of Pittsburgh—now you were performing in front of a sold-out concert in the heart of New York.
You thought back to your first performance, back when the band was called "The Dunne Brothers." It seemed crazy to you, now, that you were so nervous to go out on stage. There were, at most, thirty people who couldn't care less about what you guys were playing.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Holding your tambourine tightly in your hand, you peeked your head out from behind the curtains, tapping your foot against the wooden floor. You were nervous, anyone in the band could see that.
You felt the warmth of a hand on your back, an arm slinging over your shoulders. Turning your head, your eyes meet Eddie's.
A forced smile found itself on your face as he spoke, "Nervous?"
"Can you tell?" You asked, bowing your head.
"Only a little," He smiled, "Look, it's going to be okay. Just pretend they aren't out there. They don't give a damn what we're doing anyway. This is just practice for when we make it big."
Taking a deep breath, your eyes met his again, your foot going still, "Thank you."
"You're going to do great, Y/N."
"You are, too."
Sure enough, Eddie was right. Barely anyone in the crowd, except one woman who was drunk off her ass, cared about what you guys were playing. A few people swayed to the music, but few looked up on stage.
While singing backup, gently tapping the tamorine on your upper thigh, you looked over at him, a smile plastered on your face. He returned the sentiment, nodding his head as he played.
That was the first, of many, times Eddie Roundtree eased your fears.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Stepping up to your mic, you looked around at the band. Daisy and Billy were waving at the crowd, who's cheering only got louder as they do so. Meanwhile, Karen was laughing at something Graham was saying to her—and Warren was fiddling with his drumsticks, getting his energy from the audience.
Then there was Eddie. He was tapping on his guitar, a gentle smile on his face as he took it all in. New York City. Who would've known?
You looked over at him, as you had done before every single performance in the entirety of your career, and smiled.
He smiled back, nodding. This time, your eyes stayed locked on each other's for a second longer than they should have.
The two of you turned back to the roaring crowd, listening for the cue of when to start playing.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Things had been different since moving out to LA, especially after the first tour. Billy was more involved with Camila and Julia, only going to mandatory practices and opting to spend more time with his girls. Warren, Karen, and Graham were out doing everything and everyone under the sun. You expected Eddie to go with them, as he had before the band had gone on tour. But he stayed back with you.
You weren't exactly sure why, but one conversation stuck in your head as a possibility to him stopping his wild streak.
The two of you had been messing around with a melody when he looked up at you, asking, "Why don't you go out with us anymore?"
You had hesitated, initially unsure of how to answer, "How honest do you want me to be?"
"As honest as you can be."
Taking a deep breath, you leaned towards him, "I saw what drugs and alcohol did to Billy, what it did to the people who loved him. I don't want to make that same mistake. I don't ever want to put myself or the people I love in that position. When the right person comes along, I'll know. But that person won't be out being reckless."
Eddie was silent for a while before he excused himself, leaving his guitar propped up on the couch. You weren't sure what he was doing, but you did hear him rummaging in one of the rooms upstairs and then the toilet flushing.
He came back downstairs a few minutes later, his hands in his pockets, asking a simple question, "Want to keep practicing?"
You nodded, happy that what you had to say didn't ruin your friendship. As he played, you silently hoped he wouldn't notice your fleeting glances towards him.
Although you'd never admit it to him, you were aware of your feelings for him. Unbeknownst to you, so were Camila and Karen.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Daisy knew how to work a crowd—it was first nature to her. Her movements were fluid, captivating everyone's attention as she sang.
"You found me in flames/it's the daylight of change," She and Billy began, "Baby, all that stuff is done."
Your part came in a split second later as you sand backup, "You're my morning sun/Aurora, you're the one/You're my mornint sun."
While the lead vocalists continued, you focused on matching the rhythm with your tamboruine, swaying as you shook it back and forth.
When you got to the chorus, you made it all of three seconds before looking at Eddie, "Oh, I kinda think I wanna make it last forever... Oh, I kinda think I wanna make it last forever..."
To your surprise, he was looking back at you, mouthing the words back to you.
"Oh, I kinda think I wanna make it."
In that moment, there was nobody else on stage except for the two of you, looking longingly into each other's eyes as you sang back and forth to each other.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Are you ever going to tell him how you feel?" Karen asked you, rather impatiently, as you set the table for dinner one night.
Camila looked up from her spot over the stove in the kitchen, as if she were wondering the same thing.
"What?" Your cheeks suddenly felt hot and you chose to look anywhere but in her direction.
Karen crossed her arms, "Cam, are you going to take this or am I?"
Camila came out of the kitchen, setting a dish towel on the counter, "Y/N, we've seen the way you and Eddie look at each other. It's before every performance, every practice session... Really, anywhere."
"Because we're friends."
"That's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard," Karen said, rolling her eyes, "I don't know whether you guys are head over heels in love or if it's just intense eyefucking—but you've got to take care of it one way or another."
Camila held back a laugh, "What we're trying to say is, what's the point in not telling him? What do you have to lose?"
"Everything."
"What? You won't lose us or the band. You know that."
You tried to stop the tears from falling, but that proved to be difficult, "No, you don't understand."
Camila moved towards you, rubbing your back as Karen pulled out a chair for you to sit down on.
"Then what is it, honey?"
"He is everything."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Your eyes are locked with one another, unable to put your attention anywhere else. For once, you don't give a damn what anyone thought. All you care about is what happens after the concert.
"Where did you turn... When you needed tenderness..." You sing softly, chest heaving.
You saw, Eddie's breath hitch in his throat, biting his lip.
"Where did you turn... When you needed tenderness."
Your mind drifts back to all the touches you had shared over the years—his hand on your shoulder, your palm pressed on his chest while the two of you danced around the living room on Christmas. It was all clicking.
You kept singing, "When you reached out for my touch...and I couldn't give you much...Of all the time we lost..."
Eddie tilts his head, thinking about where the two of you would be now if he had manned up and told you how he felt four years ago.
"While I was running from your light..."
You had spent years running from your feelings—that wasn't an option anymore.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Your first performance in front of over a thousand people had you a nervous wreck all over again. You could handle a couple hundred—but enough to populate your hometown? It sent you spiraling.
Eddie found you pacing back and forth behind stage, your hands running over your face to try and calm your nerves.
"Hey, hey, it's alright," He whispered, gently taking you by the shoulders, "This isn't our first rodeo, right? We're the real deal now, Y/N/N. It's alright."
He pulled you into a hug, running his hand over your hair as you breathed into his chest, "Breathe with me, okay? Listen to my heart, alright? Listen to the beat."
His voice alone managed to calm you down—paired with his touch, you didn't know what to do with yourself.
The two of you pulled away from each other, and he looked you up and down, "Ready, sweetheart?"
You nodded, causing him to smile. He pressed a kiss to your temple, "You've got this, don't worry."
The both of you ignored the looks you got from the rest of the band while you walked on stage.
During the performance, it became too much. Your fists clenched up and your breath work wasn't quite right.
Taking notice of it, Eddie discretely moved towards you, passing it off as him being really passionate playing the bass. In reality, he just wanted to be there with you, reassuring you that you'd be okay.
He succeeded, too. Having him a foot away versus the usual six helped in ways you couldn't have imagined.
From then on, he always played a little closer to you.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
As soon as the band went on a short break halfway through the concert, Eddie made a beeline towards you behind stage.
He cupped your face, pulling you into a kiss the two of you had been waiting for the entirety of your careers.
Your hands found the collar of his shirt, pulling him as close to you as physically possible. His hands slid down to your waist, finally pulling back to catch his breath.
"I've been waiting to do that since the day I met you."
His forehead pressed against yours, relief washing over him, "God, I love you. Was that too soon? I'm sorry—"
You pulled him back in for a quick kiss, "Not soon enough."
LEAD SINGERS ARE
OVERRATED
Tumblr media
summary: working at the whiskey has it perks and that includes getting railed backstage by a certain bassist in a band.
fandom: daisy jones & the six
parings: eddie roundtree x f reader
warnings: smut, swearing, mention of alcohol, p in v, unprotected sex
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Your uniform had been discarded long ago. Rough hands tangled through your hair, swollen lips, your skin hot to the touch. You were in the middle of your shift at The Whisky, but you weren’t the only waitress here who had disappeared to get fucked backstage before.
You had been eye fucking the bassist in this band called The Six ever since he played the first chord on his guitar. He knew it too, he knew it because he was eye fucking you as well, undressing you in his mind.
Once their set was finished, you offered him a free beer and the next thing you knew, you were leading him backstage, knocking over a bunch of shit along the way, too busy trying too undress one another to care.
“What’s your name?” He whispered against your lips. “I’m Eddie.”
“Shut up and fuck me, Eddie,” you smiled, eyes full of lust. Eddie pressed you against the wall, your legs wrapping around his torso.
“Such a needy little thing, aren’t you?” He teased, slipping his length inside of you. Your eyes rolled into the back of your head. “C’mon, what’s your name, sweetheart?” Eddie asked again, your hands wrapped around his neck, bouncing yourself up and down on top of him.
“You don’t need to know my name,” you replied, eyes squeezing shut, soft moans escaping your lips. Eddie braced himself, one hand on the wall behind you, the other wrapped around your waist, letting you take control.
“My cock is inside of you, I think I should know your name,” Eddie laughed.
You slapped a hand over his mouth, narrowing your eyes at him, your movements steady, skin slapping against skin. “Y/N,” you finally said, removing your hand from his mouth and replacing it with your lips.
Your tongue ran over his teeth, the both of your fighting for dominance, but you won in the end. Your hands moved from his neck to his cheeks, holding him as close as possible.
Anyone could walk backstage and find the pair of you if they wanted too, but neither of you seemed to care. The only thing you were focused on was your orgasm.
You pressed your forehead against Eddie’s, your movements steady. “Fuck,” Eddie groaned and the sweet sound of his voice alone made you whimper.
“Do you fuck every waitress who gives you free beers?” You asked.
“Do you fuck every bassist in all the bands that perform here?” He asked.
“No,” you replied. “I normally go for the lead singer.”
The mere thought of you ending up in this position with Billy pissed Eddie off to no return. His eyes narrowed, snapping his hips into yours, offering you no mercy. He had you sobbing into his shoulder, making you feel things that you didn’t even know you were capable of feeling.
You felt his lips trail along your jawline and down to your neck, sucking bruises into your skin. The pleasure you were feeling was overwhelming, your nails digging into his bare shoulders, whining and moaning against him.
“Lead singers are overrated, Y/N,” Eddie said, his lips moving away from your neck. Tears brimmed the corners of your eyes, trying to focus on what he was saying but it was so hard when he was making you feel so good.
“I know that now!” You cried out, your legs turning to jelly, pressure building within your core. Your body slumped against Eddie’s, letting him do all the work. “Please… just keep fucking me,” you whispered into his shoulder.
Eddie pushed your back flat against the wall, two hands resting above your head, fucking you relentlessly. So hard that you knew you’d be sore and hobbling by tomorrow.
Your eyes fluttered shut, submerging yourself into the pleasure, soft moans and whines escaping your lips every few seconds, fuelling Eddie to keep going even though his legs were aching.
“I’m gonna make you cum harder than you ever have in your entire life,” Eddie said, his voice low, and sultry. It made you shiver, it brought you even closer to your sweet release, but what really pushed you over the edge was when he pushed his lips forcefully against yours and started fucking into you even harder than he already was.
You cried against his lips, your legs shaking, hips convulsing. Eddie knew it too, you could tell by the way he smirked into the kiss. You opened your eyes, staring up at him, a fucked out look on your face.
“Just a little while longer,” Eddie said. “You can handle it.” Your eyes fluttered shut and he gripped your chin, forcing you to open them. “Keep those pretty eyes on me, sweetheart,” he demanded, making you shiver.
With one last snap of his hips, Eddie’s release washed over him, spilling his seed inside of you, pulling away from you and slowly placing you on the ground. He picked up your uniform for you, followed by your bra and panties.
“Can I take you out on a date?” He asked, also getting dressed himself.
You laughed, “you can’t be serious.”
EDDIE ROUNDTREE: And that’s how I met my wife.
Y/N ROUNDTREE: I definitely wasn’t expecting to marry him, but life works in mysterious ways…
Tumblr media
fic cover by me (made in canva, inspired by the tv show intro (guys im actually kinda good at something??))
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
The party on her yacht was not only for Y/N to relax after a good season of fashion shows, but also to get absolutely wrecked, and get as high as an unrestrained balloon can get.
However, Y/N never drank to get drunk, nor has she even touched a speck of cocaine or a drug. She’s learned how easily abused the two things can be, so she’s laying off.
She’d have a couple glasses of wine or champagne during late nights working with her designs. Smoking she figured was okay, as long as she kept control over how many she was having a day. She’d seen cocaine in play before, and it freaked her out how vulnerable it made her friends, and obviously, how hooked they were on it.
One would call her uptight, with the thinking and wants of a woman nearing her grave, but where she was now in the world was too important, too risky, to waste over alcohol and drugs. She achieved all she wanted to and all she wanted to be; her life was absolutely perfect. The fans, the money, the recognition. She loved it. She got her high from it all, and she was satisfied.
But this party was reserved only for her closest friends, those from her hometown, and the new ones she’s made ever since stepping into the world’s spotlight.
Looking up at the large crowd in the center of her yacht, conversing and laughing, Y/N smiled to herself. She liked gatherings. She liked seeing her friends gathered together like this. Not to mention, on a yacht this perfect for gatherings more to come.
It was a picture perfect moment from where she was, lounging on her yacht couch, with the way the sun hit them perfectly, and the music playing from the background, drowned by their laughter and voices—until, someone staggered into them and broke the circle.
Everyone parted for him like the Red Sea. A curly, black-haired man, who apologized absentmindedly as he continues to stagger about, until he spots the woman in front of him.
No less than 6 feet away, he squints through the sunlight, and as if it were any help, squinted harder at the figure.
Warren had come with his bandmates, Graham and Karen, on a mission to have some fun while they were on hiatus. Warren’s one-man mission however, was to see who the latest commotion was about, the highly praised, new talent of California, introduce himself, maybe get close enough to sleep with her.
Close enough? Warren chuckled to himself. I’m an up-and-rising drummer of a new band, she’ll be ringing me up every night wanting for more of me.
•─────⋅(cut to documentary)⋅─────•
Warren (in his boat): I had no idea what she even looked like. *chuckling* I went to the party with Karen, looking for a good time with this new fashion icon I had no idea what looked like until I had had enough of hearing that she was, apparently, a friend to every woman, and forbidden fruit to their husbands. And I thought, “I want some of that forbidden fruit. I want that. I want her.”
And then, my thoughts escalated to wanting her for the sake of saying “I had a taste of the forbidden fruit, you motherfuckers! *chuckling* I did what all of you couldn’t!”
Y/N (out in a patio): Rest assured, I was kind of a bitch back then. *laughing* I was so fucking stubborn. It wasn’t like I wanted to date anyways, or hook up, I was way into my work and my art. I wanted to go the distance by myself. No distractions, no asshat trying to hold me down from my potential. I took what I wanted, and I got it. If it’s not what I wanted, I could get rid of it pretty easily.
Except, y’know, this one thing was pretty anti-resistant.
•─────⋅(cut back)⋅─────•
Warren stepped out of the broken up circle of guests to set his eyes closer on the woman who sat in the yacht’s couch.
Her eyebrows are furrowed at him. The way her lips tugged down into a scowl, her beautifully long legs on top of one another, though, hidden in her jeans.
She looked like she wasn’t having any fun. She looked serious, and mad. At him.
What the fuck did I do?
High on cocaine, he still managed to make his way to the woman, giving her a friendly grin he hoped to make him less intimidating. If he needed to know where the lovely host was, he might as well ask a friend of hers. Of course, roughly assuming she is.
She’s every woman’s best friend after all.
Y/N leans back and watches in disgust as the man staggers towards her, with a cigarette in one hand, and a free hand saluting her.
As a response, Y/N took in a deep inhale of her cigar. An act to prepare herself for whatever this man had up his sleeve.
Or in his pants, Y/N shivered.
“Hey! You from here?” Warren began with a sincere smile.
Y/N gave him a tight-lipped smile. Reluctant. Obvious she wanted to be left alone. “Uh huh...”
“That’s cool. I’m not though, I’m from Pittsburg. There’s snow there, and I mean like, the things that, y’know, fall from the sky, not—”
“I think I get what you’re saying.” She interrupted, taking in a much longer drag after.
“Sure, yeah. Tha-That’s my bad.” Warren stammered. At the same time, he decides to sit right next to her. But it was more like a slump down, and it almost sent Y/N into the launch out of her seat.
He keeps a distant proximity from the woman, taking note of her discomfort.
But why would she be uncomfortable around him? The ladies he messed around with all told him how charming he was, how comfortable they felt around him, that he was all they could ever want in a guy.
That‘s not even his intention with her. But looking deep into her deep V halter top, he almost changed his mind.
This one lady, with her arms across her chest, furrowed eyebrows, eyes anywhere but on him seemed like she wanted nothing to do with Warren, and he would be lying to himself if it didn’t hurt his ego a bit.
“You’re free to tell me to fuck off after this,” he assured her, “but are you by any chance, familiar, with this fashion lady?”
Y/N shifts uncomfortably. She blinked at him multiple times. “Depends...that whole ton right in front of us are fashion ladies.”
Warren only hummed, accepting the hostility. “She’s new, I think.” He explained. “She had a fashion show this summer, and everyone went crazy about it.” He took a hit, giggling. “Apparently she’s everything a man could ask for.”
Stunned, she turns to the man in search for sarcasm or flirtatiousness, but all she found was genuine curiosity.
“Yeah?” She teased.
“It’s what I heard.” He shrugged. “You think I’ll be able to have her in my arms by the end of the night?”
Y/N’s eyebrows shoot up.
This man doesn’t know who she is.
Sure, people would recognize the name Y/N Augustine in the fashion industry, and she’s been televised quite a few times. Celebrities outside of the fashion industry began to recognize her in public and even ring her. It doesn’t upset her, but she is a bit surprised.
Maybe she could make something out of this weird interaction.
“She’s a bitch.” She pretended to sigh exaggeratedly. “I’ve worked with her so many times, she’s unbelievable.”
The man next to her furrowed his eyebrows, visibly confused. “Oh.”
Y/N does everything in her might to stifle her laugh. She felt no sympathy for the man. In fact, she had no idea who he was either.
But all Warren could suddenly do was ogle the woman next to him. The way she’s fully turned to him now, he couldn’t help but stare into her deep cut halter top.
“You work for her?” He managed to continue.
“Something like that,” Y/N brought her cigarette to her lips. “Barely knows our names, doesn’t acknowledge our presence but when she does, it’s because we’re doing something wrong. Everything’s about needlework and pushing the needles in the right places. It gets a little too sad.”
Warren snickered at the joke. “She’d say that on purpose?”
“Hell no,” Y/N returned the snicker, blowing out a smoke. “Lady hasn’t had any in a while, and she makes it as obvious as possible.” Y/N looks into his eyes for the first time, only to manipulate herself the image of regret to him.
He notices. “...What?”
“I don’t think I can tell you any more...”
“No! Please, tell me more,” he chuckled at his sudden need to plea. “Save an innocent man here, please.”
Y/N pretends to ponder over it for a while, forcefully jutting out her lip. “I would be saving you…wouldn’t I?”
Warren nods frantically. “Yes! Again, please, before I let this buddy of mine control me, only to end up catching a disease as a consequence.”
Y/N let a laugh break out of her, which surprised her. “Oh, hun, no. She doesn’t have STD. But...” She motions a finger for him closer.
He responds quickly, leaning forward towards her shoulder, but not doing so without peaking at her deep cleavage.
“Those sweet sexy rumors you keep hearing?” Y/N whispered, “they’re fake. She pays the press a shitload of money for them to only say nice things about her. She’s an old bastard, probably as old as my grandmother. It’s a miracle she’s still alive to find out what plastic surgery is. Maybe knew a bit too much, y’know? She looks like a wax figure now.”
Warren erupts laughing at the joke.
•─────⋅(cut to documentary)⋅─────•
Karen: How should I put this...Y/N...has always been unpredictable. There isn’t any dull moment with her, and I think that comes from being an artist, y’know, she’s always up and going, welcoming unpredictability and ideas. No matter how beautiful and wild they were.
*smiling down* That’s exactly who she is. Unpredictable. Wild. Beautiful. In all the best ways.
Warren: *he sucks his teeth* I wasn’t used to girls not...flirting with me. I mean, there was Karen and Camilla, who I knew would gut me if I even dared to wink at them the wrong way. I got all the groupies I wanted, whenever and wherever...but there was something off about this one.
interviewer: In what way?
Warren: Well first of all, she never touched me anywhere. Never hinted to wanting me, at all.  It was kind of offending me every minute I spent talking to her.
Suddenly, *exhaling heavily, flicking his hand away* I forgot about the fashion goddess. It was just...her. Nameless girl with nice tits and a sense of humor that was refreshing. To me, at least.
•─────⋅(cut back)⋅─────•
The man’s mouth went agape. “Wouldn’t you get...fired for that?” He chuckled nervously.
“Nah.”
The man whistled in amusement. “Damn, girl.”
“Won’t be the end of the world.” She shrugged.
•─────⋅(cut to documentary)⋅─────•
Y/N: I had no idea what I was doing that afternoon. *chuckling behind her hand* It was fun, though. I like messing with people.
•─────⋅(cut back)⋅─────•
Perhaps he would call this unlocking a national discovery, but Warren wanted to talk to her more than he wanted to fuck her. And it isn’t because he isn’t turned on by her at all, but fuck, did he really want her for more.
“She’s super gullible though,” Y/N insisted, turning her body back to the crowd. “You’ll have a chance.”
Warren shook his head with a laugh, the slight movement of his curls grabbing Y/N’s attention back.
“What’s your name?”
“You need my name?” Y/N teased. “Were my tits not enough for you?”
•─────⋅(cut to documentary)⋅─────•
Warren: It was like a boner and my heart acting up at the same time. Fuck the high the nicotine gave me, I think I just found the love of my life.
Graham: Entering the party with people we didn’t know, and with Karen talking it up with another guy, I was forced to look for Warren somewhere in the yacht, praying he was sprawled naked on the floor with a girl or two...but I did not expect him to be laughing it off with a woman next to him, who, I might add, both had their clothes on.
I mean, the man looked more alive than I’ve seen him, and it was all without any hardcore drugs.
So, I just kinda left them alone.
Warren: I wasn’t necessarily angry when she refused to tell me her name, but it actually made things 10 times worse for me.
The whole mysterious shit got to me. It was hot.
•─────⋅(cut back)⋅─────•
“What if I want to know your name?” The man beside her kept insisting. “Is that too forward?”
“It’s Flora.” The lie rolled off her tongue casually. Y/N’s middle name was Flora, and while she wanted to keep up with the joke of lying about who she was to the man next to her, she just had to give him something about herself.
The man was charming, she wasn’t going to lie. Charming and attractive, with that headful of curls.
But she couldn’t just...give in completely. Jokes aside now, she wants men off the table for as long as she could.
She should stop this. Before she practically launches herself at this man.
“Flora...” Warren wagged a finger at her. “You’ve got a hold on me. And I don’t think it’s gonna leave for a while.”
Y/N rolled her eyes playfully, while her stomach was infested with butterflies, and her heart banging against her ribcage, telling her to open up to this man.
This stranger, she added to herself, who you don’t know at all. “I bet.” She said flatly.
“Warren,” he introduced himself. He offers her his hand.
“What are you doing?”
Warren’s eyes widen at her sarcastically. “Shake my hand. C’mon!”
Y/N blows in a smoke before placing her hand in his. Calloused they may be, Y/N felt a sense of attraction anyways.
“I’m a drummer.” He excused himself. “My hand’s probably scraping your skin alive—”
“You drum?” Y/N squealed out suddenly. “Shit...”
Warren’s grin only grows. “Do you?”
•─────⋅(cut to documentary)⋅─────•
Y/N: I could’ve stopped there, y’know? I could’ve kept my mouth shut when he mentioned he drums, but I also drummed. Past tense. My older brother was in a college band. So was my dad. Both were drummers, and they insisted I learn how to too.
Again, I could’ve stopped it. *scoffed* But it felt...wrong. I’ve met hundreds of drummers, amateur and professional, but I didn’t geek out as much as I did that time with Warren. So...what was the big deal? Why was it so much more exciting to find out this guy also knew how to play the drums?
•─────⋅(cut back)⋅─────•
Y/N cleared her throat in hopes to wake herself up from this trance. “I have to go—”
Warren’s grin fades, slowly but surely. “Right now?”
Y/N is already up from the couch. “...Yeah.”
Warren’s mind is racing, revisiting his responses and trying to figure out how he could mess up such a thing. They were going on just talking and laughing so well...he couldn’t just leave it at that.
She can’t leave it like this.
“Hold on, wait,” he gets up after her, investigating the blank look on her face. “Did I say something wr—”
“Oh, geeze, no.” Y/N let a giggle slip out at his sudden concern. At the sight of him, closer, she realizes he’s a lot taller than her. She also gets a good look at his downset and brown eyes, and while they normally attracted her, it was more than enough motivation to really get her head back in the game.
She couldn’t take it. She’s worked so hard for this job, and she can’t risk it all for a guy she just met.
Her back is already turned away from him, but Warren was still able to hear a quick,  “bye!” He watches her push through the crowd, a sudden emptiness sucking out of him the farther she gets.
How They All Found Out || ER
You and Eddie were doing a good job of sneaking around with your realationship. But slowly, as you two start to fall more and more in love, it gets harder to hide your feelings from the band.
You and Eddie starting seeing eachother on the break of the SevenEightNine tour. It was perfect timing, you didn’t have to hide, since it was always just the two of you. You got along so well, It felt like you were the only people in the world. Nothing else mattered. The two of you would lie in bed all day, no worries but eachother. It was all perfect. That was, until, Billy got out of Rehab and the band got together again. Then everything got hard.
Eddie Roundtree (Rhythm Guitarist): That first month or two, man, those were the days. Just me and my girl, nothing else to worry about. It was all so easy. And don’t get me wrong, when we [the band] got back together, I was thrilled. It just meant things would get harder for Y/n and me.
You and Eddie were lying in bed together one morning, the sun shining through the windows of your now shared bedroom. Your head was lying on his chest while his hand rested on your lower back. The only thing you were wearing was (his) a tshirt and your underwear. It was a perfect, peaceful scene. But, inside your head, everything was the opposite. Billy had just gotten out of Rehab. Which would normally be good, but all it did was make things more complicated. The band would start practicing again. And you didn’t want what you had with Eddie to just stop. You hadn’t talked about what you were, but you were sure he would want to stay together. He acted like your boyfriend. And that was all the mattered, right?
“Eddie, what do you think will happen when we start practicing again?” You asked, tentatively. You had been thinking about asking this question for a while. If Eddie was going to end it, you wanted it over with. Rip the band-aid off, right? He turned his head toward you and smiled slightly. “Well, what do you want to do?” He started, “I mean, I dont want to stop this. I like you, a whole lot.” You felt your face heat up. You felt like a 13-year-old girl with her first crush, but you didn’t care. Eddie had that effect on you. You replied, “Me too. It’s just- Would you mind if we don’t tell the others? Just for a while.”
Y/N L/N (Bassist): When you’re a woman in a band, people say a lot of shitty things to you. They’ll question your ability to play, say others are better than you. Back then, what other people thought meant a lot to me. I didn’t want to be “Eddie Roundtree’s Girlfriend.” I wanted to be known as me.
You could see his smile falter. You didn’t want this, but it was for the best. The best for you, atleast. You’d still have lots of time together, right? Everything would be the same. That’s what you kept telling yourself.
“Yeah, sure. As long as I get to keep kissing you.” Eddie said. You were glad he was taking it well. He puts a smirk on leans over to kiss you. You laugh and put both your hands on the side of his face to pull him in. He adjusts himself to be on top of you.
Maybe this would work out better than you thought.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Practice with the band has been going great. It was four months after Billy had gotten back. He was doing a lot better, and you were proud of him. You guys were playing more than ever, just trying to make up for lost time. That meant waking up early and staying in the studio til the late hours of the night.
The downside of this was that you and Eddie got less and less time together. You could see his longing glances across the studio, when the rest of the band was there. He just wanted to be together, which you could understand. You would take every opportunity possible to sneak into his room, most times just to talk. You wanted to be near him, to hear his voice and feel his touch. It was getting increasingly harder to not do so in front of others.
One night, after a long practice, you were struggling to sleep. It had been happening for nights and nights in a row. You weren’t sure why, most likely due to all the stress of the rehearsals. You had tried everything from counting sheep, flipping yor pillow, you even smoked a cigarette or two. But nothing helped. After tossing and turning for what seemed like hours, you decided you would head into the kitchen to get a glass of water.
You slowly rolled out of your bed, your feet touching the cold floor beneath you as you walked to your door. You quietly opened the door, slipping out of your bedroom. The last thing you wanted was to wake the whole house up at this hour. Quickly, you scurried into the kitchen. You stuck your hands out to feel around for the cabinet holding the cups. But, instead of your hands finding a knob, you felt a mop of soft, blonde hair.
“What the hell,” Eddie quickly turned around to face you, loudly shutting the cabinet holding the glassware. “Eddie!” You scolded him for being so loud. You placed a hand over his mouth, symbolizing for him to be quiet. He tried to stifle a laugh as he grabbed the hand in front of his mouth, encasing it in his much larger hand. “Funny seeing you here, baby.” Eddie smirked as he placed one hand firmly on your hip, still holding one of your hands. You laughed quietly, a smile reserved only for him starting to appear on your face. He leaned down to kiss you on the forehead. “I’ve missed you.” Eddie said. You laughed quietly, quickly responding, “I saw you five hours ago, remember?” He rolls his eyes at you. “Not like that. I miss being alone with you.” He says suggestively. He slowly starts tracing patterns on your hand with his thumb.
“Well, we have alone time right now… why not make good use of it?” You smirk. Eddie leaned down to kiss your jaw, moving down until he reached your neck. Your wrapped your hands around his neck, slightly turning your head to give him better access. You were fully wrapped up in the kisses before you realized where you were. He was kissing you in the middle of the kitchen! Anyone could walk in! “Eddie,” you started, but he ignored your call. “Eddie!” you said it much louder this time, but not loud enough for anyone else to hear. He stopped his trail of kisses, leaning his forehead against yours. He was so close to your lips, if he leaned in any further they would touch.
“We shouldn’t be doing this right now. Atleast not here.” You said. You bit your lip immediately after, pulling back your words. You knew it wasn’t right, but you missed him so much you couldn’t help it. “I know you don’t mean that.” Eddie said, tauntingly. He pulled a hand up to your lip, untucking it from under your teeth. “You bite your lip when you lie, sweetheart. You’re not very good at it.” He whispers to you. What happens next, you couldn’t control. You crashed your lips into his, hungrily looking for more.
Eddie places his hands under your thighs, and you jump up, wrapping your legs around him. His hands trace circles on your bare skin, making your heart jump. While your lips are still on his, he carries you to the counter, placing you down in front of him. His body is between your legs. Eddie is kissing down your neck, leaving light hickeys wherever he wants too. Those will be a problem for tomorrow. But right now, you’re fully in the moment. His hands are now under your shirt, and you can feel your heartbeat rising.
You’d been waiting for this forever. At this point, you’d forgotten you were in the middle of the kitchen. You needed him, and he needed you. The last time you were able to be together like this was weeks ago. All the pent-up tension between the two of you was being released with each kiss. Eddie grabs the end of your shirt, signalling for you to take it off. You do, and he kisses your shoulders and chest. But all the sudden, he stops. You look down at him, confused.
“Eddie? Eddie what happen-“
“Woah.” Warren says, startling you.
You turn your head, your face displaying total shock. Of course, someone would walk in! Just your luck. You quickly pull your shirt over your head and hop off the counter. This would take some explaining.
“You guys? You guys are hooking up?” Warren continues. His mouth is wide open. He’s laughing, rather loudly too. “I would’ve never guessed, man!”
The three of you stand there, all in total shock, for about a minute.
Warren Rojas (Drummer): It was crazy. I mean, we all knew they [Y/n and Eddie] had something. But I would’ve never known they’d been fucking. I always wondered why they didn’t tell anyone.
“So,” Eddie said. He looked at you for guidance.
“Please don’t tell anybody, Warren. Please.” You were practically begging him. You looked at him with your best puppy dog eyes and pleading smile. You could feel Eddie brushing his fingers against yours, almost for comfort.
“You guys don’t have to worry about me. I‘ll keep your secret.” He said. “I better be best man at the wedding, though.” Warren laughed.
“It’s not-“ Eddie said.
“Yeah, yeah. Can I atleast get some food though?” He said motioning to where you guys were standing, blocking the fridge.
You both nodded and scooted over very akwardly. You looked up at Eddie and all you could do was laugh, leaning into him. You placed your head on his chest, and he reached his hand up to cradle the back of your head. You were both laughing quietly. The situation was really ridiculous. You had been so careful, you never thought you would get caught. But it’s only one person who knows, right? And Warren wouldn’t dare tell anybody.
When Warren finished with whatever he was getting from the fridge, he started to walk away. When he was almost to his door, he turned to face you and Eddie. He looked like he wanted to say something but decided against it. He settled with an akward wave. With that, Warren was gone.
“So, where were we…” Eddie said, slowly starting to kiss yor jaw. You put your hands out, putting space between the two of you.
“I’d rather not have the entire band walk in on us, Eds.” You say. Your decision still stands, about not wanting the whole world to know of you and Eddie’s realationship. If you could even call it that, really. “But, maybe if we went to one of our bedrooms…” You trail off. Eddie doesn’t have to hear anymore. He is dragging you off to his room.
Eddie Roundtree: That was a good night for me. For us. I think it really made me realize what I wanted for us. Y/n still didn’t want to come out in the open with our realationship, which I understood. But that didn’t mean we couldn’t have something just between us. So I asked her to be my girlfriend that night. And she said yes. *smiles*
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
About two months or so after the Warren incident, the band was back in the studio recording. You were working with Teddy Price again. It was a miracle he let you back, considering how terribly the last tour ended. He suggested you bring in a new voice, someone who could bring more traction to the band. He suggested Daisy Jones. So, the band got to work on your new song Aurora, with the help of the wonderful Daisy.
One late night, the whole band was out with Daisy at Chateau Marmont. It was one of her many parties, which were always marvelous. You were wearing a short black skirt, matched with a white halter top with red floral detailing. You put together this outfit especially for a lipstick you wanted to wear, that was gifted to you by Karen, for your birthday. It was a gorgeous deep red color that complimented your skin perfectly.
You arrived at the Chateau a little later than everyone else, and you quickly found who you were looking for. Eddie. You made your way across the room to him. His face lit up with an all too familiar boyish smile. Eddie was standing alone next to the drinks, nursing a beer. He reached down to the cooler and grabbed you one, popping it open for you.
“Here you go, Y/n.” Eddie said while holding out his hand with the open beer. You took it with a smile.
“I’ve been looking for you all night, baby. Where have you been?” said Eddie. He takes a quick sip of his beer, admiring you. You can see his eyes flick up and down, from your legs up to your face. You could tell they lingered on your chest, which was exactly what you wanted. “I like this shirt.” He says, winking. You scan the room, making sure nobody is watching. You slowly take his hand and place a sloppy kiss on his lips. You start to lead him into a close bathroom.
“Are you sure Y/n? I mean we just got here, and you said you still wanted to keep us a secret.” Eddie says, looking at you concerningly. But you can tell, by how Eddie is looking at you and how he’s standing, with one hand holding yours and the other tight on your ass, that he really wants to sneak into the bathroom aswell. He was looking out for you, which was always something you admired about him. He was always considerate.
“It’ll be quick.” You smirk. You both make it into the restroom. You turn and lock the door behind you.
Around 30 minutes later, Eddie emerges from the bathroom. You both decided he would go first, just in case someone you two knew was by the door. This way nobody would become suspicious. He walks out back into the party, which has gained guests and volume while the two of you were away. He navigates through the crowd to find another beer. While searching for that, he finds two people from the band. Karen and Daisy were standing in the corner together. They wave Eddie over and he walks towards them.
“Hey Eddie, where have you been?” Says Karen. Daisy and Karen both smile at him, whilst exchanging looks. Eddie doesn’t catch it at first. He starts a conversation with them. But soon, after a while, Karen and Daisy burst out into a fit of laughter.
“What, what is it?” Eddie says, irriatated. Are they laughing at him? He hasn’t done anything embarrassing. Karen and Daisy don’t answer his question, they just continue to giggle.
“What’s funny?” Eddie restates himself. Now, he is just as much confused as he is annoyed. Did Billy tell them something? At this point, he was ready to leave and find somebody else to talk to. He was just about to walk away when Daisy grabs his hand.
“No, Eddie, wait,” She says between laughs, “We’ll tell you what’s funny.”
So, he turns backs around and crosses his arms. He could be doing much better things than being laughed at by two band mates. He looks around the room, impatiently waiting for their answer.
“Did you realize you have lipstick on your face, Eddie? Red lipstick?” Daisy says.
Oh.
That’s what they were laughing at.
“And it looks an awful lot like the one I got Y/n for her birthday.” Karen adds.
Karen Sirko (keyboardist): Oh my God! It was hilarious! Eddie comes out, and he has lipstick everywhere. His lips, his neck. And at first I was like, “Oh, good for him.” but then I realized that it was Y/n’s lipstick! The one i got her for her birthday, even. God, that was the highlight of my week.
Eddie reaches a hand up to his lips, and sure enough, deep, red lipstick residue is on his hands. The trail goes down his neck, too. He keeps trying to rub it off to the best of his ability. He laughs akwardly, looking down. Daisy senses the akwardness and tries to comfort him.
“Hey, i’m really happy for you guys. You two will be a great match, i’m sure.” She smiles, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
Eddie looks up, smiling back at her. “Would it be okay if you guys didn’t tell anybody for now? We aren’t ready to tell everyone yet.” He says.
Daisy Jones (vocals): Eddie and Y/n? They were adorable. You could just tell that he was in love with her. When he would play, the only person his eyes went to was Y/n. As for Y/n, she was the same. When he walked into the room, you could see her smile. If I wanted my future to be like anyone’s, It would probably be their’s.
Karen and Daisy both nod. Eddie felt really bad about them finding out. Y/n had asked him to keep it a secret and he was dumb and messed it up. But, hey, Warren already knows. So two more people shouldn’t be so bad? And Eddie trusts Karen. He wasn’t sure about Daisy yet, but Y/n seemed to love her. He’d have to tell Y/n soon.
Y/n L/n: I wasn’t mad at all. It was really my fault for not noticing the lipstick. I helped him wipe it off after that, and I have to admit, he looked really silly. I can’t believe he left the bathroom looking like that.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
It was Julia’s first birthday. Camila had put together a celebration with balloons, banners, and an adorable little pink cake. It was all out together in their new house’s backyard. They had a housewarming party a while ago. It was one of the best parties you’d ever been too. Being surrounded by friends who loved you always made you feel better.
At Julia’s party, you and Eddie were playing with her. She had brought a couple Barbies outside and was acting out a scene with them. You and Eddie were doing it with her, going along with whatever she says. “We go swim!” Julia moves her Barbie over to a nearby puddle, grabbing both your hands and making you move yours over too. “Weeeeee!” Julia makes the Barbies jump up and down in the puddle. While they were jumping, she moves them around wildly in your direction and they splash your sundress.
“Woah! Julia!” You say, holding her hand to settle her down. “You got me all wet!” You joke, fake scolding. She giggles, apologizing, “I’m sorry Aunt Y/n!” You smile at her. How could you be mad at such a cute face? You grab Julia’s hand while standing up, and point in her dad’s direction. “It’s okay, Jules. Why don’t you go find your dad while I go clean up?” She follows your directions and runs over to her father, Billy.
You stand up, swiftly brushing the dirt and grime off your hands and dress.
“You’re really good with Julia, Y/n” Eddie says.
You smile widely at him, laughing happily. “You think so? I always imagined myself with kids when I was younger.”
“It just got me thinking. We could do that one day.” Eddie says, looking down at you fondly.
“Have kids?” You ask. It was true, you always thought you’d have a family. Two, even three kids. Maybe a dog, too. But that was all back in Pittsburgh. You weren’t sure if that life would fit into your life style now.
“Yeah. Big house, white picket fence. Some kids running around. Wouldn’t you like that, Y/n?” He says. You two were dangerously close, in the middle of Billy and Camila’s yard. Everyone you knew was there. But at the moment, it only felt you and Eddie were present. It was like the world closed in on you, and it was just him and you left. You liked the close, intimate feel. Even though you had been dating for around a year, you had never talked about your future outside of being in the band.
“Yeah, I think I would like that.” You say happily. You liked this side of Eddie. The warm, inviting side. You really were beginning to see a future with the blonde. The two of you stood, in the middle of the yard, just looking into each other’s eyes. Words didn’t need to be spoken. It was a silent “I love you”.
Eddie Roundtree: Yeah, I remember that day. She just looked so beautiful, playing with Jules. She was so kind, always was. You couldn’t help but love her. *smiles*
You are quickly snapped out of the moment by Camila calling to you.
“Hey, Y/n!” Camila says. She walks up to you and frowns. “I heard about your dress. I’m so sorry, i’ll talk to Jules after the party.” She apologizes.
“No, it’s okay. I’ll just wash it when I get home.” You respond. You look down at your blue sundress, taking a look at all the muddy spots. “I think i’ll go inside and try to find a washcloth. I’ll try to get some of the mud out.” You say. Camila nods.
“I’ll come with you!” She exclaims. You flash Eddie a sweet smile goodbye, and he winks in return. Eddie turns to go talk to Graham as you go inside with Camila. As soon as you shut the door, Camila starts to smile suspiciously.
“You and Eddie, hm?” She questions. You freeze, simply in shock. You were going to have to dig yourself out of a big hole. Plus, you were never good at lying, especially to Camila. It was like she could see through people. You always envied it about her.
“What do you mean, Cami?” You ask. You begin to make you way to the sink, avoiding her eyes.
“Don’t try to fool me. I see the way he looks at you, Y/n. It’s like you hung the stars and put the moon in the sky. He loves you.” Camila smiles. She digs through the drawers of her kitchen before handing you a white washcloth.
“I don’t,” You start. The question had totally caught you off guard. Was it love? Had you fallen in love with Eddie Roundtree? “I don’t know how he feels.” You stutter. Guess there is no hiding it now.
You begin to wet the washcloth, but your mind is anywhere besides this room. Is Camila right? You always knew you had something special with Eddie. But you’d never thought about it this much to be honest. With the baby conversation today and Camila’s conversation with you right now, you are seriously considering it. Things between you and the blonde wasn’t just hooking up anymore and it hasn’t been for a long time. It felt as if things were suddenly gettin for serious, and you were not going to say no to it.
“Well I think I know how you feel.” The girl says, poking you in the side. You laugh with her, moving your hip out of her reach. You shake your head in response, but the radiant smile on your face tells otherwise.
When you recover from the laughter fit, you begin to blot the muddy fabric of your dress with the cloth. Cami settles down as well. She peeks out the window and smiles, “Looks like everyone is about to sing happy birthday. I better go get the candles. Come out in a second, yeah?” She says. You nod, waving her goodbye.
Just before she is about to walk out the door, she turns around and teases, “Oh, and Eddie will be out there, too. You might want to hurry.” She winks at you mischievously before shutting the door and hurrying over to where Julia and Billy were.
Camila Dunne: Oh, Gosh, they were an amazing couple. I would’ve never known, but once I did, it just felt so obvious. They were perfect together, and I mean it. You could just tell by the way they looked at eachother. As soon as his eyes fell on Y/n, they turned into hearts. And vice versa.
Normally, you would be freaking out. You just gave away the secret of your realationship to yet another person. But right now you were on cloud 9. Eddie Roundtree might love you. And you might love him back.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
When Aurora was finally finished, the entire band was thrilled. Everyone had working together, and it turned out perfectly. You could feel it was about to be a big hit. The single, Look At Us Now, was already topping the charts. You had Daisy’s and Billy’s perfect vocal chemistry to thank for that.
Everybody was getting ready for the album cover shoot. It had been scheduled for weeks. After much bickering from Daisy and Billy, they decided on a desert shoot. The whole band was wearing tan, blue, and brown costumes, some more extravagant than others.
You and Eddie, though, had different plans. You snuck into his room late the night before. Everyone was staying in a hotel, as the photo shoot location was about 3 hours out of town and nobody wanted to drive that far so early. So, while everyone was getting ready, you and Eddie were lying in bed together, enjoying the solitude of the morning.
You were brushing stray hairs out of his face, to make sure you could see his beautiful eyes. Atleast you always thought they were beautiful. He was looking right back at you, with a dopey grin on his face. “I love you, Y/n.” He whispered. And you whispered it back.
After ten more minutes of this lovesick haze, you sat up, grabbing your watch that layed onnthe bedside table. Your face froze with shock.
“Shit, Shit, Shit! Eddie, it’s already 9:30. We were supposed to be down five minuetes ago!” With those words, the two of you flew out of bed, hurrily throwing on coats and blouses and brushing knotted hair from last night’s activities.
Meanwhile, downstairs, everyone was waiting on you two. Daisy, Karen, Warren, Camila, Billy, even Julia, all sat downstairs around a couple tables. They had finished breakfast a while ago, as it was now 9:45.
“Okay, where the fuck are they?” Billy said, tapping his foot. Karen and Daisy shared a look, Warren snickered, and Camila avoided his gaze. But Graham was clueless.
“I’ll go get them. I’m done eating anyway.” The younger Dunne brother said, hopping out of his seat next to Karen. He walks up to the elavator and steps inside, pressing the button of the band’s floor.
Meanwhile, you and Eddie were still frantically trying to get ready. You were applying a nude lipstick while Eddie buttoned up his shirt. You were no where near ready and you figured time was running out.
Suddenly, there is a knock on the door. You both freeze, making eye contact in the mirror.
“Probably just maintenance.” You reason.
“Yeah, just maintenance.” He agrees.
But you both quickly found out you were wrong when Graham’s voice sounded from the other side of the door. “Eddie, man, get up! You’re already thirty minutes late for photos.”
Oh, so it wasn’t maintenance. It was Graham. And Graham didn’t know. You and Eddie had started to consider telling everyone for good, but it had been so easy how it already was. You had settled into a routine of secrecy. It would just be so much harder to stop.
Graham knocks again, sounding impatient. You quickly pull out a curling iron to atleast get half your hair done while Eddie rushes to the door.
“Hey, just give me five more minutes.” He says before shutting the door in his face. Your boyfriend quickly rushes over to you in the bedroom, as you had given up on the hair curling idea after the front two pieces.
“What are we going to do, Ed?” you ask. He places a reassuring hand on your cheek, brushing a piece of hair away from your face.
“I’ll go out first. I’ll talk to Graham for a little before moving on downstairs. Then, he’ll go to your room next door and knock. You’ll slip out of here and try to walk a little ways down the hall so he doesn’t notice you came out of my room. Just pretend you were getting ice or something.” He says. You nod, trying hard to listen to exactly what he says.
When Eddie finishes speaking, you place a gentle kiss on his cheek. “For good luck.” you say. He smiles and embraces you quickly before heading for the door, motioning for you to hide on the other side of the room.
“Sorry about that Graham. Woke up late.” You can hear Eddie say from the other side of the wall. You press your ear up against the wallpaper trying to listen to more.
“I get it. I’m going to knock on Y/n’s door too. She must’ve overslept as well.” He pats Eddie on the shoulder before moving on to your door down the hall. You hear the steps of boots which you assume means he’s far enough away. You make your way to the door and open it very slowly. You manage to squeeze out of the half opened door. Now, you shut the door quietly before walking a little ways down the hall, like Eddie said.
“Hey, Y/n!” Graham calls out, and you stop in your tracks. “Where’d you come from?” He asks.
“I was just getting ice. Down the hall. At the ice machine.” You manages to sputter out. You’d never describe yourself as a nervous person, but right now, the nerves where like butterflies floating in your stomach, in your brain, and throughout your whole body. Graham furrows his brows at you, not very convinced by your efforts.
“I’m going to go ahead and get some breakfast.” You say quickly, speedwalking down the hallway. You thought you handled that pretty well.
Graham Dunne (Lead Guitar): She had come out of Eddie’s room. It was very obvious. Y/n was also always a terrible liar. I knew they were hooking up way before that ever even happened.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Karen Sirko: I think everyone knew they were in a realationship by that point. Daisy and I had a bet on when they would tell us.
Daisy Jones: It eventually came out when we were on tour, so Karen won technically. But they were just so shit at keeping secrets we all figured out a long time ago.
Warren Rojas: I was actually best man at Eddie’s and Y/n’s wedding. It was probably the best wedding i’ve ever been to. But don’t tell Lisa that. *winks*
Imagine:
Meeting Daisy Jones
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Request: Yes or No
Pronouns for y/n: any/gender neutral
~~~
Playing came as easy as breathing. Your fingers moved effortlessly over the keys, the tune echoing through the room sounded all too familiar with. A tune you had come up with years ago.
You could still vividly see yourself in your old childhood bedroom, sprawled out over the bed and writing down lyric after lyric. The inspiration flowed endlessly and despite the late time, you didn't feel an inkling of sleepiness. Then, it came. You hummed the tune softly, fingers twitching as you imagined yourself playing the piano. That night you had decided to follow music wherever it took you.
Opening your eyes, you pressed one last key and finished the song, exhaling softly. There were scattered claps throughout the bar, mainly soft and purely to be polite, but there was one person clapping louder than the rest. It made you chuckle. Definitely another music lover.
You shifted and peered back, spotting her with ease. Even if she hadn't been clapping, you would've noticed her right away. She had an energy that attracted attention and a radiance about her. The redhead smiled widely at you and walked forward, eyes twinkling as she looked over the piano.
"That was amazing!" She complimented, brushing back some tousled hair and looking back at you. "How long have you been playin'?"
Blowing a raspberry, you raised your brows and lightly shrugged. "Forever." You answered, chuckling as she nodded knowingly.
"I'm Daisy Jones." She stuck out her hand suddenly and you happily shook it. Her evident passion for music was a breath of fresh air in the small bar.
"(Y/N) (L/N)." You smiled. "Nice to meet you, Daisy."
The redhead dropped her hand to her side, her other hand tightly gripping the strap of her bag. She swiped her tongue over her lips, eyes flickering between you and the piano as she shifted weight from one foot to the other. Finally parting her lips, she spoke, "Would you mind listening to one of my songs? I just- I need to know if they're any good."
You knew the look in her eye well. You were no stranger to being let down or told your music wasn't worth it. And not everyone had the talent to pursue it successfully. But something about Daisy Jones told you she had that talent, even without having to hear her sing or play.
With a nod, you stood up and motioned toward the seat. "Go for it, Miss Jones."

You were worried, despite trying to remain very calm it was almost impossible when you saw your boyfriend in that state. From the door to Graham's room you see him curl up in the covers in search of any kind of warmth, and your heart hurts to see him in that state. He had been sick for a few weeks and that caused you enormous concern, you already had this need to take care of him as if he were your most precious asset, and since he started showing symptoms of that severe flu you were distressed.
You sit at the foot of the bed, not wanting to wake him even though you know he hasn't reached a deep state of sleep. He opens a smile that seems to require a lot of effort, opening his eyes very slowly.
“There's no way you're going like that on tour babe.” You say stroking his hand, he seems to complain but his murmur was inaudible. “There’s nothing to complain about, honey, you need to rest.”
“I’m okay” He says between coughs, and you raise your eyebrows. “I swear, princess, I’ll be fine. I can't lose this.”
“You can ask Teddy to postpone it." You suggest, and Graham puts his head back into the pillow to cough once more. “See? No offense but you look terrible.”
He gives you a thumbs up and you laugh involuntarily, snuggling on the blanket next to him. Without carrying you hug him and he is not late to wrap his arms around you to finally feel warm. He seemed very fragile, and you wanted to convince him to wait until he got better so he could go to work, and that was proving to be a very difficult task.
You prepared some chicken soup to help his sore throat and while it cooled you stroked his hair slowly.
“Everyone is so excited.” He pauses to cough once more, you feel your chest tighten and your face becomes more painful. “Everyone is so excited to go, I don't want to ruin that.”
You stroke his hair, kissing his forehead as you brush away some strands.
“They'll understand, you're not very well." You try to explain, pulling him closer. “And another thing, how will the show be? What will you deliver if you goe like this?”
He grunts in protest, not wanting to agree with you. But this time, snuggling into you.
“Warren already packed the drums.” He informs you, and you let out a small laugh.
“Of course he is, he's living for this day." You say it as if it weren't a surprise.
“You see? I'm going to ruin everyone's expectations." Graham complains once again, wanting to disappear because of how his body felt. “And I'm sure Billy won't agree, he loves to please Teddy.”
“Not what I meant.” You joke, understanding his side, but happy that he is trying to understand you and accept your proposal. “Fuck Billy and what he thinks, you need to rest!”
Graham seems surprised by your attitude, opening a huge smile to see you so caring about him. He wraps his arms around you.
“What I mean is that he has to understand the limits, I already spoke to Camila and told her you're not going.”
He sits down, looking at you with raised eyebrows. “Without knowing if I would agree?”
You laugh, shrugging your shoulders, kissing his cheek.
“I love it when you take care of me, even though I don't need it." He confesses, feeling vulnerable.
“I want to see you well." You say softly, a little shy. "What can I do, I love you!" You speak without thinking and when you notice, you instantly change the subject.
“Wonderful, I'll give Teddy a call.” You get up quickly.
“What did you say?” He asks with a gigantic smile.
You act like you don't understand. "That I was going to call Teddy." You say leaving the room.
“Wait wait, stay with me.” He runs to catch up to you, you avoid looking into his eyes. "Hey." He says gently cupping your chin. "I love you too.”
You feel butterflies dance around in your stomach, and you immediately start laughing nervously.
“You don't need to say it just because I said it, I don't want you to feel pressured. I just, you know..." You say too quickly, and he grabs your hands.
“I love you Y/N.” He reaffirms, kissing your forehead. "And I'm just not kissing you now because I'm sick and I don't want you to be too.”
He makes you laugh, and you hug him tightly, hiding your face in his neck. “I'll take care of you on your days off, and when you're better I'll help you pack your suitcase. And you can rest assured that the boys will keep you up to date with rehearsals.”
“You had already talked to Teddy and the whole band, right?" He says, shaking his head, laughing happily.
You nod your head, laughing as if your whole plan was in order. "Surprise!" You exclaim. "Now come on, let's eat something before resting for bed." You say pulling his hand towards the kitchen.
...

Daisy Jones and The Six Masterlist
Part One | Part Two| Part Three
Tumblr media
Unrequited love. The leading cause of heartbreak not only in America, but in the rest of the world, too. It's that feeling in the pit of your stomach that sits there and never really goes away, no matter how many times you try to stop thinking about it. It plagues you, haunting every memory you have. You're left to wonder what could have been if, how things could have been different if. It's always an "if", always ending in a question mark and not a period.
You're love for Graham Dunne had never wavered in the twenty two years you had been in love with him. Not when he took your hand and guided you around the neighborhood because he was your fiercest, if not smallest, protector. It only grew when the two of you kissed each other under the bleachers at a high school football game, getting it out of the way with "no strings attached" before you opened yourselves up for dating. It didn't stop when he got his first girlfriend and you were left thirdwheeling. It didn't even begin to fade when he moved out to LA to pursue music while you stayed behind in Pittsburgh, destined for a typical 9-5 job.
Graham had his fair share of girlfriends, especially after The Dunne Brothers was formed. His role in the band, while not as popular as Billy, was prominent. He was cute, naive. But apparently so were you.
When you had heard the news that the band was on tour, set to stop in Pittsburgh, you reached out to Camila to confirm if it was really them. Of course, you had every album they had released, including 7,8,9—their newest.
"Camila," You had said into your phone, twisting the cord around your fingers, "Have they changed any since I last saw them? It's been, what, a couple years now, hasn't it?"
She sighed into the phone, "Other than Billy and I being parents? No, I don't think so. Warren is the same as ever, Eddie's a little more irritiable though. You'll meet Karen, she's got a no bullshit attitude. You'll love her. Your Graham still looks like a deer in headlights anytime he sees a pretty girl."
"Got it. And you? Are you coming?" You asked, hopeful you'd be able to see her again after so long.
"I'm going to try. I'll have to take Julia with me, though. It won't be easy, I'm a few months pregnant, Y/N."
Eyes widening, you smiled, "Oh, Cami, congratulations."
"Thank you, really, it's been hard being away from family. But I've got Billy and the boys, Karen, too, so it's not all bad. They're excited to see you, Y/N. Especially Graham. He hadn't stopped telling everyone about you since they scheduled Pittsburgh on the tour."
"He's been talking about me?"
She laughed on the other end of the phone, "Everyone already knows you, except for Daisy. But he can't help himself. He's like a kid on Christmas, dying to see you."
Trying to steady your breathing, you took a deeo breath, "Well, I'll see you guys in a few weeks, then. Keep me posted on how you're doing, though. Being pregnant on the road can't be easy."
"I will, Y/N," She said, "We'll see you soon. Julia, can you say bye to Y/N?"
"Bye bye!" A smile voice said on the other end of the phone.
Your heart melted a bit, "Bye Cami, bye Julia. See you soon."
With that, you hung up, your heart beating out of your chest.
You only had to wait a few more weeks before you saw him. It shouldn't be that hard.
-----------------
You met with the band at the concert venue, holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a bix of Graham's favorite chocolates in the other.
As soon as the van doors opened, Eddie opened the passenger door, sliding out onto the pavement. The two of you had known each other since middle school, but it was hard to believe it was him. He had changed. He had grown into his body, looking more confident than he had in the eighth grade.
He gave you a warm smile, pulling you into a side hug, "How are you, Y/N?"
"I'm doing good, just glad to see you guys. And you, you're doing good?"
"Couldn't be happier," He said, his smile faltering slightly as he spoke. Something had happened, you just weren't sure what it was.
Billy was the next out, helping a pregnant Camilla out of the van with one hand, his other supporting Julia.
Camilla waddled towards you, arms out before you could even say hello. Taking her daughter from her husband, she introduced her to you with a big smile.
Kneeling down, you handed Julia the small bouquet of flowers, "These are for you and your mama, Julia."
The girl gasped, hugging them to her chest as she looked up at her mother, jumping excitedly.
Camila mouthed a "thank you" and then looked back at Graham, who stood still, his eyes locked on yours.
Giving you a wink, she picked Julia up and followed Billy to scout out the venue.
As soon as she stepped to the side, you were being scooped up by Graham. He twirled you around, squeezing you so tight you found it hard to breathe.
When he finally set you down, you grabbed his arms for support, laughing at his straight-forwardness.
"It's good to see you, too, Graham," You said, pulling him in for another hug, "It's been too long. Pittsburgh isn't the same without it's favorite Dunne."
"I don't think I'm the favorite Dunne," He said, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck.
You shrugged, "Maybe not, but you're my favorite."
"Then that's all that matters."
From the side of the van, a woman cleared her throat, looking expectantly at Graham to introduce her.
"Oh! Y/N, this is Karen, our keyboardist. She's British."
Karen stepped forward, nodding to you with a smile before looking at the younger Dunne, "Are those the only words you could think of to describe me?"
"I was put on the spot."
"And how would you describe her?"
Graham smiled, "Karen, this is my best friend in the whole world. We've known each other since we were in diapers."
Coming from the driver's side of the van, Warren walked towards you with outstretched arms, "Pears!"
"Pears?" Karen asked, looking at the drummer.
"Peaches and pears," Warren explained, nodding towards you and Graham, "Had to find some way to embarrass them, Karen Karen."
"Alright," She laughed, "How much mescaline have you had today, Rojas?"
He shrugged, "Enough to make the drive fun."
----------------
At dinner that night, you were seated next to Graham, and across from Eddie and Camila.
"So, Y/N/N, what have you been up to? Still in school?"
"No, I graduated in May, actually. I start my new job next week."
He clapped your back, "No way! Congrats, Y/N/N. I wish I could've been there to see your graduation."
"It's all good. I've been busy, anyway. What about you guys? Anything planned for after the tour?"
Graham nodded, taking a bite of his food, "Something big that Billy would kill me for talking about. Let's just say you'll have to buy our next record."
You released a breathy laugh, shaking your head, "I've still got your first two in my apartment."
"So, you seeing anyone?" He asked.
Was this some sort of code? Was this his way of preparing to ask you out? You had already waited twenty two years for this.
"No, I'm not. How about you?"
Before he could answer, Julia's cries filled the room. Camila looked around, apologizing as she began rocking her slowly, trying to calm the toddler down. Another tantrum, you guessed. Every bit as fiery as her father.
The conversation continued for another hour without you ever getting an answer to whether he was seeing anyone. You felt wrong bringing it back up since he had already moved on to telling you about the concerts they had been playing the past few weeks.
By the time the check came, you weren't ready to end the night. But they had an early morning tomorrow, with rehearsals and the concert. You understood and bid your goodbyes.
As they drove off, you walked to your car. But you didn't have your purse on you.
Walking back in the restaurant, you went back to your table, finding your purse hanging on the back of a wooden chair, along with Graham's wallet on the table.
Deciding to drop it off at their hotel, you got in your car and started driving.
-------
When you got out of your car, the first person you saw was Eddie, leaning against a pillar while taking a drag of his cigarette.
He straightened when he saw you, a smile on his face, "Y/N, I didn't know you were coming over."
"Me neither," You laughed, "But Graham forgot his wallet."
"I'll walk you in. They won't let you go in without one of us," Eddie said, putting out the flame of his cigarette in an ashtray.
You thanked him, following him inside the hotel and to the elevator.
Making small talk on the way up, you were reminded of how kind Eddie was. He was the most sensible of the group. Not blunt like Karen, not naive like Graham. He wasn't as tough as Billy or as laid-back as Warren. Camila had always been the voice of reason, but Eddie was outspoken.
He led you to Graham's door, knocking on it a few times.
When the door swung open, Graham was standing on the other side, less than half dressed.
Eddie stepped to the side, revealing you behind him.
A surprised expression settled over the youngest Dunne brother, "Y/N, what're you doing here?"
You dug his wallet out of your pocket, "You left this at the restaurant. Can't really go anywhere without it."
He smiled, taking it from you, "Thanks, I appreciate it. You have—"
From inside the room, a woman's voice rang out, "Graham, get the fuck back inside and finish what you started."
It wasn't just any woman, though. It was Karen.
You saw her shoes in the middle of the room from where you were standing, clothes strewn on the floor and dresser.
"I'll leave you to it," You said, swallowing the bile that rose in your throat.
Did he know your heart was breaking? You wouldn't wish that feeling on anyone. It was the worst feeling in the world.
Turning on your heel, Graham didn't bother calling out behind you. He just closed his door, going back to what he hadn't finished.
God, you hated saying that.
Eddie walked beside you, taking notes of your expression. But he waited to say anything until he got in the elevator, "I'm sorry, Y/N. I didn't... I didn't know they were together. Not just in there, but at all."
You stayed silent, unable to look at him. It wasn't his fault, but you were about to crumble.
"Y/N? Are you okay?"
That's what broke you. Falling into his side, Graham leaned forward to catch you, his arms wrapping around your waist to support you as tears came rolling down your cheeks.
The elevator was filled with your sobs. You weren't the only one who's heart was breaking. Eddie had always hated seeing you like this.
When the doors opened, Warren appeared on the other side.
Eddie mouthed, "Go get him. Car."
He led you out to the car, a hand pressed on your back as he led you outside.
You slipped in the backseat with him, head resting on his shoulder.
"I thought... I thought he'd..." Your chest heaved, your hands frantically wiping your tears away, "I didn't... Eddie..."
"Shhh," He soothed, "You're going to be alright. I'm here, okay? I'm not going to leave you."
You nodded, clinging to his shirt as you tried to calm yourself.
That's when you heard a knock at your window.
Eddie reached over to open the door, Warren smiling down sympathetically at you.
"Pears, I've got somebody here to see you," He said softly, turning to his friend beside him, hissing, "Jesus Christ, zip it up, asshole."
That stung.
Graham poked his head through, "Y/N/N, what's wrong?"
Eddie glared at him. Another Dunne brother to add to his growing list of people he couldn't give two fucks about.
"Warren, are we interrupting something? I feel like we are."
"Get your head out of your ass, Dunne." Eddie snapped, gesturing towards you.
You pulled away from Eddie, "Can you give us a minute. Please?"
"I'll be right outside if you need me, okay?"
Nodding, you watched as he slid out of the car while Graham slid in, the doors shutting. You had never felt so alone.
"Y/N/N? What's wrong?"
"You, Graham. You're what's fucking wrong."
"I don't, I don't understand..."
You shook your head, "How long have we known each other?"
"Twenty two years."
"Do you love me?"
He nodded, "Of course I do."
"No, Graham, are you in love with me."
"Like—love love?" He asked, quite literally twiddling his thumbs.
"Y/N..." He trailed off.
Your head fell into your hands, inhaling sharply, "You may not be in love with me, Graham."
Sitting back up, you looked him in the eyes, "But I've been in love with you since we were in diapers. That hasn't changed. And it hurts, Graham, it hurts so much to see you with someone else. Because I love you. I always have."
He was silent, unsure of what to say.
"Um, Y/N... I... I'm sorry, I just... I don't think..."
"You didn't think anything of us being each other's first kiss? Nothing of us going to prom together two years straight? Me coming to all of your concerts? You coming to my recitals? Nothing? Absolutely nothing? I was so excited to see you, so excited. I was finally going to tell you how I felt. But I found you with another woman. You told me you had a long day and an early morning and that you couldn't hang out tonight. But you were just fucking your keyboardist."
"Y/N, she's not just my keyboardist."
Your nails dug into your hands, "Get out."
"What?"
"Get out, Graham. Out of my car."
"I'm sorry, I really am."
You pushed him away from you, screaming, "Get out!"
He didn't budge, trying to talk you down.
"I'll always love you, Y/N/N. But you're like my sister."
"I never want to see you again. Ever. I never want to have to look you in the eyes. I'm done, Graham. I'm done always being in second place.
He put a hand on your shoulder.
"So help me Graham, if you don't get out of my fucking car."
He got the message that time, his head bowed as he grasped the door handle.
Before he could leave, you muttered one final sentence, "I'm happy you found someone you love, Graham."
He didn't say anything, slamming the door and walking back inside the hotel.
You slammed your fists against the leather seats of your car, the thread hitting your knuckles just right so that they split open, oozing blood.
It burned, the blood on your hands as you tried to apply pressure.
The car door opened a few minutes later, Eddie sliding back in beside you. Taking note of your bloody hands, he slipped out of his shirt, leaving himself in a white undershirt.
He wrapped the sleeve around your bloody knuckles, pressing down on the wound.
Tears began spilling down your cheeks again and you leaned into him, your head in his chest as he stroked your hair, promising that you'd be okay.
Like you, Eddie had his handful of unrequited love. First Camila, then you. But like Graham, you were to blind to see that.

There are many things that you will not forget with your first born, the first tooth, the first step. Sam and I filmed every moment in the life of our daughter, Mary Rosie Claflin. Since our daughter was born, Sam took a little break from acting and I didn't take any break, not even during pregnancy because I'm a songwriter and most of the time I work at home.
Mary was born on Sam's birthday, he always says that I gave him the most beautiful gift in the world and that no one can give him a more beautiful gift than this, he became a father on his birthday.
It's December 15, that means it's the first Christmas with Mary who is almost 6 months old, all she did was eat, sleep and play with her daddy.
Sam and I did everything in our power to make the most beautiful Christmas just for our beautiful daughter and today her daddy will take the tree to decorate it.
While Sam and I were decorating the tree, Mary sat either in my arms or on Sam's hip, she pointed to the blue ornaments and mumbled something she understood, when the time came to turn on the lights, I amd my daughter was sitting down , with her on my lap.
When my dear husband plugged them in, Mary's eyes shone.
"Look who's happy when she sees the tree, our Mary is happy," says Sam and tickles her little foot.
"Of course she's happy, it's her first Christmas, the first time Santa comes to her because she was a very good girl, isn't that right Sam?" I ask him and put my head on his shoulder.
"It's very true my love, everything is new for her and we're here to make her the best Christmas ever." Sam says and kisses my temple.
When I look at our daughter, she looks so curious at what is happening in front of her, how the lights change color, and she reaches out to a pink globe, Mary tries to take it from the tree but she can't reach it and this does it to get upset and we expected her to start crying.
Sam was faster and took her from my lap, got up with her and started humming a song that I know will calm her down a bit.
"What happened, why are you crying Mary? Everything will be fine, mommy and daddy are here with you. What made you so upset? Hmm" his voice calmed her and she looked intently at her father, as if to say the most special thing on this earth.
I still haven't gotten used to these beautiful moments of interaction between Sam and our beautiful daughter. While I look at the two of them, my dear husband motions me to approach them.
"My love, everything is fine. We are here with you." I say to Mary and I approach her and kiss her on the cheek.
"Y/n thank you for all the good times we spent together and thank you for making me a father. I love you so much Y/n Claflin!" He tells me and kisses me, I put my hand on his cheek and prolong the kiss, Sam is the first to break the kiss and leans down and kisses Mary on the forehead.
"I love you too Sam Claflin!" I say and look at our most special gift in our life, Mary Rosie Claflin.
"And you our little treasure, we love you very much, from here to the moon and back." Sam says and puts his arm around me and the three of us hug.
How I got so lucky in life I don't know, but the only thing I know is that I have the most beautiful family in the world and I wouldn't give anything in the world to change that.
