DDMAU! Mumbo!

In the world of DDMAU, Grumbot actually succeeds in making Mumbo mayor/president of whatever hermitopia style mega city everyone lives in.

Mumbo turns out to be a pretty poor leader, as he never even wanted the title in the first place. Realizing this, Grumbot takes things into his own hands.

Grumbot sorta…slaps a headset on Mumbo and starts controlling him. If Mumbo can’t be a good mayor, Grumbot should be mayor(at least in Grumbot’s eyes). However, since Grumbot’s original purpose is to make Mumbo mayor, Grumbot can’t just take over without the presence of Mumbo, so Grumbot opts to conduct every decision of Mumbo’s. Mumbo is mayor and the people get a competent leader(win win, right?).

With limited knowledge on human needs, Grumbot often leaves Mumbo overexerted, starved, and terrified.

You asked for it!! Time to introduce Skizz and Impulse into DDMAU!!!!

Skizz is a human and Impulse is a demon. I think it’d be safe to say that every human I introduce can see through the veil unless stated otherwise.

They live together hehe. Married maybe.

They run a podcast together where they host guests(most of the time they’re monsters but there are some human guests(seeing through the veil is just really rare))and have convos about their life experiences and such. It only reaches other monsters because of the weird worldwide magical censorship lol.

Full DDMAU! Lizzie design!!

When I was doing doodles of the people who I knew were gonna be agents I started realizing how boring it’d be if all they could wear was a plain black suit so they get a little customization.

Lizzie secretly hates her job as an agent but understands it’s better to prioritize the fate of the world as we know it over her happiness. Plus it pays really well.

When Lizzie transforms into her Axolotl form she swaps out her skirt for pants(mostly cuz it’s easier for me to draw cuz she’s got a tail) and rolls up her sleeves to show she’s about to throw hands(and water with her hydrokenisis)

Hello, I really like the way you draw Lizzie(both aus) & I was wondering if you could please draw her being buds w/ someone?

My first instinct is to ask for BigB specifically but I would like to see any friendship with her in it really, like someone she probably interacts w/ quite a bit already (such as Scott, Joel(either au), Pearl(chained life) or Lauren(ddmau)) would be nice too. So yea anyone being buds w/ Lizzie would be nice if you don't mind. Sorry if that's too broad. Thank you for your time tho.

Yay more Damselduo Mothman AU featuring Scott’s human disguise. Just Joel and his giant boyfriend.

I wanna give a little synopsis of the world building of DDMAU( or DDMMAU? Idk. I want their to be a shorter name for it) so here’s a screenshot from my notes of my basic idea

These creatures have some control on how their form is affected by the veil, so they can go between their monster and human disguises(I also imagined some disguising themselves as animals and objects).

I also want there to be some humans who can just naturally see through the veil or have the authority to see through it.

Thinking about this story has got my brain buzzing so I’m excited to play around more with this AU.

DDMAU! Sausage time!!!!

Most of my inspiration for his character in DDMAU is from Empires because I adore Empires!Sausage. Sausage is human

Sausage is a single dad(because thunder daddy Joel doesn’t exist in DDMAU. Or is he single? *hints and winks in Keralis*) and cares for his dear son Hermes, who is a thunderbird avian/angel. Sausage worries a lot about Hermes because he knows this world isn’t meant for him, and is scared someone will take him away once they found out what he was.

Because Sausage has extensive knowledge on the multiverse(according to his lore), he knows a lot about the veil and the powers in the world. Another version of Bubbles exists in DDMAU as well.

Sausage worries about Hermes, but I’m sure he can take care of themself lol.

Can we please have more Chain Life!Lizzie please. she so pretty

I know you asked for Chained Life!Lizzie, but could I take this opportunity to introduce Lizzie into DDMAU?

Lizzie is a member of a Men in Black style organization with the goal to detain rogue monsters and people trying to disrupt the separation between the monster world and the human world. This organization mostly has good intentions but sometimes goes to the extremes to make things go their way.

Lizzie is an excellent member within this organization so she is assigned Joel and Scott, who become members of this group, to show them the ropes.

Lizzie is a monster herself I just don’t know what I want her to be yet exactly(my top picks are a Wampus(which is a weird mountain lion centaur women), a swamp or sea monster akin to Empires 1 Lizzie, or Enigma Lizzie from Afterlife), so I’ve just drawn her in her human disguise. Depending on what creature I end up making her, her design will get tweaked a bit.

May I ask if Lizzie has any noteworthy coworkers in the DDMAU? If so can we get a doodle? If not, is it okay to ask for a doodle of someone/thing your excited about? In either Chained Life or DDMAU.

One of Lizzie’s coworkers that gets me excited is none other than LaurenZside!! I know she hasn’t played Minecraft since WitchCraft but I still wanted to add her(seeing as DDMAU has no limits to who I want to add as a general MCYT AU and not specifically a Life Series AU)

Lauren’s either a voidwalker or starian(from the origins mod). Maybe she’s both. She’s definitely a lot more eccentric while Lizzie may come off as a little serious when at work. Dexter and Bobby will also be in this au eventually, with Dexter being an alien creature disguised as a dog under the veil.

If Lauren was someone you guys weren’t expecting, I hope this prepares you for anyone else I might add, though Lauren might be the most outside addition to DDMAU by a long shot

what's cleo's role in the ddmau?

I haven’t decided yet. I don’t want every character to be an agent so I’m not sure what I want them to be.

So far a character’s daily life has related somewhat to other things they do or hobbies they have inside or outside Minecraft and content creation(like Skizz and Impulse’s podcast). I don’t watch Cleo’s hermitcraft POV so I don’t know anything besides she’s cracked with amour stands. So maybe they’re a sculptor or clothing designer? I mean sculptor fits that fact she’s a undead gorgon. Maybe their life can relate to their interest in spooky things like zombies and Halloween.

Ohhhh maybe Cleo works at a museum!! Cuz doesn’t she have a museum in hermitcraft? Cleo works at a spooky museum I’ve just decided!

Yes, Grian is in the au. I think that Grian’s main goal within the story would be to save Mumbo.

Do you have a role for DDMAU Pearl yet? (definitely not hoping for Scott and Joel / Lizzie and Pearl parallels)

I don’t have plans for her to be an agent but that could always change. For her species, she’s a Human/Mothwoman/starian mix. I want her and the other traffic women to be a little friend group, with that group being one of the only places Lizzie can wind down. Pearl and Gem share an arts and crafts hobby and enjoy painting and drawing together. That’s really all I got for Pearl at the moment.
