Song for Baby-O, Unborn By: Diane di Prima Sweetheart when you break thru you’ll find a poet here not quite what one would choose. I won’t promise you’ll never go hungry or that you won’t be sad on this gutted breaking globe but I can show you baby enough to love to break your heart forever Diane di Prima (August 6, 1934 – October 25, 2020) was an American poet, known for her association with the Beat movement. She was also an artist, prose writer, and teacher. Her magnum opus is widely considered to be Loba, a collection of poems first published in 1978 then extended in 1998. [poetic outlaws]

by Alex DiPrima | Spurgeon lived a life filled to the brim with good works of benevolence and charity. I have so much to say about Richard DiPrima, but I know that I could write 20 pages and it would only express the tiniest fraction of what I need to communicate. I wish I had William Shakespeare's gift of words; then maybe I could say something that even somewhat conveys what Richard meant to me, how much I love him, how completely he changed my life, and the depth of pain and loss I feel. Or maybe not; though Richard would have considered this blasphemy, I think perhaps even Shakespeare himself would have trouble finding words meaningful enough.
I love you, Richard. Thank you so much for everything. Adieu, until we meet again.
