Who do u ship Audrey with? Do you think she's better off with a vk or ak after d3

Okay, so I'm a multishipper so I have a few... and these are it;

Pre-descendants Baudrey (Ben and Audrey before Ben started neglecting their relationship and all the other drama that came in d1 and after).

Pre d3 Chaudrey (Stopped shipping it as much after Audrey locked Chad in a closet).

Umaudrey (because they're both strong young woman who deserve better than what they got in descendants).

Gaudrey (because it's a cute ship and Gil is unlikely to do anything to hurt her).

Jaudrey (because it's cute).

And lastly, Haudrey. My favorite ship.

I know alot of people ship Huma and I do too but I ship Haudrey more because.. well, Uma doesn't really need anybody outside of her crew. She never longs for love. She never wishes for it. She just wants her crew and the other isle kids safe and off the isle. Which she gets.

I like to imagine that she remains happy whether or not Harry and her become a thing. I like to imagine that she becomes a successful singer as well as an ambassador/queen of the isle while remaining captain of her crew. Because she deserves that. She deserves to be happy with or without a man. So I can leave her without one in good conscience because she truly wouldn't mind having a man or woman.

But Audrey? Audrey's different. Audrey's trickier. Because I literally can not say the same things I said about Uma for her. Because canon has repeatedly squashed that idea and reinforced that Audrey needs love. That it's the biggest thing she wants-- since she'll become a queen with or without Ben. It's the thing she wants most. That and approval.

She wants her grandmother to love and approve of her to compliment her. Wants her aunt and uncle and parents to approve of and love her enough to stick around. She wants a guy to love who won't neglect her and split like Ben did even though she knows he didn't do it on purpose. Though she didn't always know that;

I mean look. Look at her. She definitely did not know that Ben was spelled in that moment. She didn't know that her boyfriend and friend since childhood wasn't humiliating her because he had been cheating on her and didn't care about her feelings. She didn't know that this was the work of a spell and that he probably would have dumped her more privately than this had, he has the chance.

And the fact that he just assumed that she didn't take their relationship seriously after the fact just because she kissed Chad immediately after (which was obviously her trying to make him feel as hurt as she was by kissing another childhood friend of theirs) and never had a conversation with her about it didn't help. Because it just made this poor, insecure, and somewhat socially awkward teenage girl think that she wasn't worth the apology.

Sure, she was a bit mean to the vks. But she wasn't the only one. In fact, if you watch school of secrets, it becomes apparent that a large majority of the school didn't want the vks there or respect Ben's choice to bring them there. Hell, there was a petition to keep the vks out of their school for God's sake that we never see Audrey sign.

She also helped Ben with the stuff leading to the vks coming there. Sure, it was mainly to spend time with him and sure she joked about her ideas scaring the vks off. But she still helped. The vks got picked up in a limo and got to eat sweets for the first time because of her. Sure, she deserved a bit of bad karma or something that would make her see sense regarding the vks. And sure, Ben was gonna dump her sooner or later.

But my god, Audrey did not deserve that. No one does. Certainly not a 15 to 16 year old girl who is learning all the wrong things from her abusive grandmother while her parents off doing God knows what all the time with her aunt and uncle while her grandmother pins her and her cousin against one another. Certainly not a teenage girl who thinks she's not pretty or smart enough. Certainly not a teenage girl who's been taught all her life that she has to be perfect or else she's an embarrassment. Certainly not a teenage girl who had been friends with that boy and dating him for God knows how long for years at that point.

Her boyfriend left her for the daughter of her family's enemy. A girl that was so very different from her. A girl that her grandmother would despise and go on to compare her to for the next year or two until she snapped and turned evil, and finally got that apology she deserved a year or two too late. And she had no idea he was spelled at the time.

And in exact same movie where she was dumped we see this. Her looking shocked and happy to see her parents at her ex's coronation. Shocked to see them at what would have been her coronation.

Doug and Ben weren't that surprised to see their parents at coronation or at family day. We never saw Audrey's parents at family day even though she and her grandmother make a seem. All of this seems to imply that Audrey doesn't see her parents as often as the other kids' do. And when you consider that this might actually be the case and that it has been for some time, it outs alot of her behavior into prospective and makes you feel even more bad for her.

Especially since they don't show up in d3 to check on her either. All she wants is love and approval and she clearly doesn't love Chad the way he loves her. Even though she apparently tried. So I ship her with Harry. Because Harry wants love just as badly as she does even though we see it less often.

We see him try and get love and approval from Uma who rebuffs him in d3 (which is her right). We see him do everything she wants. We see him lash out at those around them-- those who hurt the girl he loves/his bestfriend. We know from Cj's treasure that his father isn't the most stable parent out there and we see that he clearly looks up to him alot. He wants love and Audrey wants love. They both have faced rejection and have lead unstable, unconventional lives. Which is why I think they'd be perfect for eachother.

Because they'd both understand eachother in a way others can't. They both know what it's like to be rebuffed and overlooked and ignored. They're also kind of opposites, which means they can also help eachother in other ways. Harry can bring Audrey out of her shell and help her have some fun, and began to love herself again.

Audrey can help him learn how to properly apply make up and learn some patience. She can help him learn how to count and read clocks. Can help him get use to the sound of clocks. She can help him find some hobbies for him to do while Uma is at work and teach him how to control his temper. And they can both stand up for the other against their families and friends. They might not be perfect-perfect but they would be nice together.

They'd help eachother heal. Whether or not they would be dating one another. They'd make good friends at the very least. At the end of the day, I ship Audrey with Harry the most but I also ship Audrey with Happiness because I just want her and Harry to be happy. No matter who they are with. Oh and we know that Harry would respect her like he does Uma, which is another thing Audrey has always wanted. So, it would work because of all of that.

As for your 2nd question, I think she might go better with a VK because of the d3 incident. Because most of the aks seem to be very judgemental. So, yeah. Who do you ship her with?

A Smokin' Hot Romance

~ Harry X Audrey

So this is basically the plot:

Audrey is tired of her dammed life and she is so done with Ben and Chad by the time the barrier comes down. After her little dance with our very own Harry Hook, she decides to give the VK a chance, acknowledging his handsome looks.

Harry on the other hand is still trying to get over Uma, but when Audrey bumped into him, something changed. As if someone flipped a switch.

As Harry has to take classes at Auradon prep, which Audrey has too thanks to the Queen of Mean situation, they see eachother during lunchbreaks and Audrey caught Harry smoking on school-grounds once.

"I didn't realise you smoke?" she said softly, hiding her surprise.

"It keeps me sane. After all the crap ftom the isle, it makes things go quiet... it's a normal one though... I don't smoke weed, if that's what you're wondering." Harry replied, with a hint of insecurity.

"Can I have one?"

"What?"

"A cigarette?"

"You smoke?"

"Don't tell my parents."

"Here." Harry said with a chuckle and he lights one for her.

The two of them decided to go on at least two dates.

One Auradon-styled, prepared by Audrey (this would be their first date)

And one Isle-styled, prepared by Harry (their second date, which would be the main of the story I think?)

At the Isle-date, they end up in Ursula's fish and Chips shop, but it is Uma's fun night of the week;

People get free drinks if they preform.

Harry forgot his wallet because he isn't used to paying in Ursula's fish and chips shop, because of his connection to Uma- but now with Audrey by his side he has to pay.

Instead Audrey smiles; "I got this." she'd say and she'd start singing how she isn't like most of the girls in Auradon, that she is tired of the ribbons and the pearls, that she doesn't just want to be a pretty girl.

“Wait!”

Harry hears the shout and, naturally, pauses what he’s doing momentarily, much to the chagrin of his crew (meaning Gil, the Smee twins, Jay and Mal since Uma’s busy helping the Prince and Evie work out royal decrees or whatever).

The sight of flowing pink fabric glittering in the sunlight sparks a grin on his face and a wave in his stomach. He swings himself around with the rope he’s adjusting and hops up onto the side of the ship.

Crouching down, he mock salutes the little flower now stretching on her toes to see him better across the gap between the shore and where the ship is tied.

“Ahoy, Princess!” he greets. “Comin’ aboard?”

Audrey rolls her eyes. “No. I’m trying to find — you!” She points suddenly, and Harry turns to look at Jay, to both their confusion. “Apparently you’re needed. Don’t ask me, Ben insisted. Something to do with a meeting with Agrabah, and apparently nobody else was able to deliver the message to you, so.”

Jay looks to Harry helplessly. Harry groans.

“I’ve gotta go.” He passes his rope to Mal, who wordlessly passes it to Gil and begins following him off of the ship. “I’ll be back as soon as I can!”

“Need some help?” Audrey asks as they run off.

Harry’s grin slowly returns. “I’m sure we could find something fur ye tae do, Princess.”

He jumps back onto the deck as she makes her way up to the ship. He waits for her to reach him then sweeps a hand out for her to walk ahead, and settles a hand on the small of her back for direction.

Then, leaning in, he quietly says, “Did the Prince actually send ye down here fur Jay?”

He catches a glimpse of Audrey’s twitching lips. She tilts her head up and shrugs.

“I overhead them mention his name and Agrabah as I was passing by, and I happened to be going this way anyway,” she simply says.

“Oh, is that so?” Harry asks dryly.

He smirks, shakes his head, and gives her a gentle push toward the upper deck.

“Come on. Ye can help me finish off securin’ the masts since ye’re so keen on spendin’ time wae me.”

What do you think of Harry and Audrey as a ship? It breaks my heart to be honest, because I'm Huma shipper.

I’m a Huma shipper as well, but even looking beyond my ship preferences, I don’t like Harry and Audrey. The way that their first meeting is being framed, like right after Uma rejects Harry’s kiss he’s already falling for another girl? It’s a cheap cop-out. It makes no sense. Descendants 3 already spent a majority of Harry’s character in the movie making it seem like he flirted with any girl he saw (Mal, Evie, Jane, etc.) and his loyalty to Uma wasn’t as deep or special as originally shown, but I didn’t buy a single bit of it. Even if I didn’t ship Huma myself, that entire sequence really came off as Disney going “HA! You thought you were gonna get this ship? Too bad! He’s going for another girl now!”

To be fair, I think a Harry and Audrey friendship is fantastic. Like they can talk crap about Auradon Prep’s summer school and stuff. And I’ll admit I enjoy the concept of AudreyXSeaThree (Humaudregil?), as a ship or a friendship overall. But Haudrey came out of nowhere and was used like a “ha! Gotcha!” card against Huma, I don’t understand it and I really don’t like it. 

I’m sure there’s fanfic writers out there giving Haudrey actual depth and meaning as a ship, and this isn’t aimed at them at all. It’s just that, as canon portrays it, Haudrey is random and nonsensical at best and in poor taste at the worst, given D*ve’s apparent possessiveness over her former boyfriend and his characters.

Do you see Descendants 17? It's talk about Harry and Audrey but I don't believe that this is true.

Well, I hadn’t heard of it, but I just looked it up (and I haven’t watched it yet). With regards to the broader question of Harry and Audrey, though, I agree that I don’t really ship them. Except in the context of Humaudrey or Sea Three + Audrey. If Uma weren’t a character I might ship Harry and Audrey (but then, if Uma weren’t a character, I’d probably be just watching D2 now, lol), but I can’t get behind them as a monogamous pairing when Uma and Harry have so much history and chemistry.

D3 headcannons

- Gil and Jay as travel vloggers. The ones who make cool videos as if life was paradise. Consists of cliff diving, exotic animals, and helicopter rides. Sometimes things sounds like swords clashing and the ocean looks more blue than in the isle, and Gil misses it. So much. It’s hard to move on from a past with constant reminders.

- Carlos and Jane start their own mini clinic. Jane learns healing spells and Carlos diagnoses. A segue into their future as Mr. and Mrs. de Vil who’d own an empire of animal clinics throughout the years. Their more invested in helping than making money, it’s hard to stop when you make people smile.

- It’s all fun and games until Audrey’s guilt catches up with her. She can fall into the darkness, but Harry will always pull her out. Midnight phone calls turn into window visits. She’s afraid she’ll hurt him, turn him into stone like in her dreams. She wants to believe she’s good. Purely good. He tells her. She tries to believe.

- Sometimes Audrey wishes it was a spindle instead of the scepter. She would be asleep, but maybe she would never have caused the damage that was done. Maybe she would’ve won a prince in her sleep just like her mother

- Ben and Mal are stressed. Integration programs and counseling for new VKs take up their time. Ben works more with Uma on crime and justice. While Mal and Evie work on schooling, counseling, and integration. Mal wants to spend more time with Ben, but she couldn’t think of a better person for Ben to spend time with. It’s good for him to have a solid friendship with Uma and she can see the passion in Umas eyes every time she walks in and out of meetings.

- Evie’s fashion empire helps more people than she can even know. Free fashion shows with free clothes to new VKs to help them. Doug helps also, but he’s flooded constantly for more and more and more business meetings on behalf of Evies company while she’s making her business boom during fashion shows. They’re in the process of adoption as well, they know what they want, they just need to get there.

She never met her parents and has left her tower few times in her life. Because of this she's ruthless and resentful towards her grandmother and dreams of escaping and meeting her real true love and finding her parents.. She helps Chad and Gil sneak around and falls for the co leader of the rebellion, Harry Hook. Turns evil for a brief spell to get her revenge against the kingdoms that did her wrong-- I.e her own and Queen Snow's.

Prince Chad! Son of the alternate reality (evil) Queen Snow white and her dark prince charming, he was kept locked away in the castle with little to no freedom has taught him to be sneaky and resourceful. He resents his parents for the life they have given him and for the arranged marriage they've set up for him through force. He does not wish to marry his best friend, Audrey, but has no choice in the matter. He's much rather marry the pub owner's son, Gil, but his parents disapprove of the union because they think Gil is beneath him so he has to settle for sneaking around with him and hoping that his evil parents won't find out. He ends up being Audrey's accomplish when she's seeking her revenge before teaming up with Ben and the others to break the curse.

Chaudrey's arranged marriage is approaching in the alternate reality and to prevent it, they team up to get revenge on those who have wronged them. Will the curse break before they get their vengeance? Will they be able to get with their real true loves in time? Will the reality fall apart before things get awkward? Or will they end up hurting those they love most? Stay tuned.

Hunter/Nobel Gil! Son of the noble war hero and hunter Gaston LeGume and one of the 3 bimbettes, he's been a noble lad since birth. He's a big hearted hunter who helps his dad run his tavern and mostly stays out of trouble while dreaming of something bigger. A life with Chad or a life with his little pirate friends who are the leaders of the rebellion against his true love's parents and Queen Leah. He's hopeful that somehow, someway, that some day he could have both.

Chil's forbidden romance that is breath-taking and liberating. Will they get their happy ending? Will they survive? Or will they break apart before the curse is broken?
